This place is worth it! Good food and solid environment for dinner. Limited menu but rest assured you are getting top notch meals. Their cocktails are legit and will knock you on your fanny. Their duck confit fries are super good.

This is a great local spot for a quiet intimate date, or a catch up with a couple of friends. It is not to noisy, and not so dark that you need to pull out your phone to read the menu. The food is really good, well cooked and tasty. My only criticism is that i would like to see a little bit more of an adventurous menu. The mains consist of a chicken dish, steak, fish, vegetarian and a risotto. I guess I would like a bigger menu because the food tasted so good.
Your food has always been memorable to both myself and my husband which keeps us coming back again and again and again! Even after no longer living in the immediate area we still find our way back to Lot 2 as much as possible. After tonight it s clear that your character is just as memorable. THANK you for the ICE CREAM SAND-WHICH. MY booger baby and I were able to go home and have a cheeseburger picnic in bed with cartoons before enjoying the special treat. Thank you for cooking up delicious food and spreading love.
Amazing spot for delicious drinks and superb food. Perfect for a cozy little romantic date night but also works for a small group (reservations recommended). Everything I ve had or tried here is great. I go every time I m in the area visiting.
After living in south Brooklyn for over five years this is truly the most certain place to get a perfect meal. The executive chef and owner Danny cooks beautiful, heartfelt, & wholesome food that hits deep in your soul. The cocktail program is spot on and seasonally appropriate, and the service is swift and friendly. We won t go anywhere else for date night.
I went during the week after finals week on a weekday still busy. Main reason why a friend and I went was for the patron bottle drinks. But I was hungry as well so I wanted to order from the kids menu. When I did the waitress said no you can't order from there. I have a very small stomach and I really did wanted chicken nuggets. Once she said that she walked away. She was not attentive at all. My friend told me to just order something from the menu and call it a night so I did. I order chicken quesadilla. I told her specifically that I didn't want any cheese on in. Sounds weird no cheese but o didn't want it. And she brings my food with it. I didn't complain I just manually tried taking all of the different cheeses out of it. Drinks are good that's just it.
Stop by for food, maybe it's just me, but the food here is way too salty and bill came out pretty high. They do have great selection of liquors, perhaps food is not their main attraction.
This is a tiny gem tucked-off the beaten Brooklyn path. Such a relief to discover food that's not over-thought--just simple ingredients in delicious combinations.
Good food, good drinks but not a whole lot of vegetarian options, surprisingly. You would think for a locavore place it would have more, although the menu itself is small with 5 entrees but still you'd expect at least two veggie main courses, no? This is almost Park Slope fer crissakes!
Simple menu but every plate delicious. My fave, Brick Chicken. Possibly some of the best drinks in Brooklyn. The cognac crusta and the father in law get the job done every time
So as usual my friend and I were looking to hit up a good join in Park Slope. Lot 2 was one of the top suggested even though it's in South Slope, but reviews said they have a sick burger and you know, we love our burgers so off to Lot 2 we went.
We walked in to a dimly lit, rustic and super artsy interior. A guy behind the bar greeted us with a friendly smile and told us to sit wherever we'd like. Our waitress came over with some menus and water and we starving humans ordered away. I love that their menu is very small. No indecisiveness on our parts.
We ordered the house pickled salad, a different salad with anchovies, nuts and oranges and 2 Burgers. Also a couple of glasses of red.
The pickled salad was fabulous. I loved the veggies they served and it was not too acidic. The other salad was alright, wasn't crazy over it. But the burger!! Damn that burger was bangin'. We ordered them medium rare and they were just right. Oozing with juice and flavor we devoured that beast. The fries they come with were just as delicious, of course as they're fried in duck fat!!
I was super full by the time I was done my burger but my friend still needed his dessert so he ordered the cake they had that day. It was a 3 x milky type of cake. I had a bite but was not smitten.
Overall, we had a great evening. The ambiance was nice, quiet and chilled. The waitress was on point and the food was priced right too. We'll definitely be back for that burger.
The food is great. And the servers are very very nice. The only thing is that the food might take a while to come. Also it is kind of expensive. But over all is a great place is your have patience for your food and money is fine.
nose to tail dining in the far south slope, and along with fonda, korzo and applewood, one of the strongest arguments that the south slope has more quality restaurants than the north slope. sunday supper is a bargain, though you will never walk out of here complaining that the portions were too big.
Hands down, this is the best restaurant in the neighborhood...great food, lovely atmosphere, wait staff that remembers who you are...doesn't get better than that.
We love eating out. Last night we went to this superb place which friends told us about. We had a delightful time there with great meal and a nice stuff and a professional cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we will surely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.
Danny is one of the few chef's in Brooklyn who can make the perfect chicken. Sunday family meal's are amazing, and the drinks are always on point. A definite must visit!
The food here is good, but it doesn't make up for everything else this place lacks. The real problem here is SERVICE or lack of it. The staff embodies the very quality that has no place in Brooklyn, pretension. Have they ever heard of smiling? They must have forgotten somewhere along the way that they work in the service industry. It really is the worst service I have ever experienced. The staff rarely stops by to check on you and when they do they leave you wishing they hadn't bothered. Their lack of personality and friendliness is interesting, but would be better suited elsewhere perhaps Times Square.
You would think that when a menu is over priced, good service might accompany your steep bill. If you like $17 burgers and servers who would do better working toll booths then this is the place for you! Otherwise save your money and go somewhere else that actually delivers for what you are charged like Atrium or Convivium Osteria.
My very favorite restaurant of its type (new American). The burger coaxed me out of vegetarianism! My husband and I are have to get a couple of their excellent salads, or a salad and an appetizer, and split the big, rich, juicy burger. They add slivers of yummy house made pickled onions, which help cut the richness of the short rib-and-sirloin, cheese-cloaked patty, if you need that sort of thing. If a burger isn't your thing, you will be thrilled with anything else on the menu. If it sounds good to you, it will likely be either the or close to the best version you've ever had. Frankly, even if it doesn't sound good to you, you will probably love it. I do recommend the reliably delicious chicken dishes (they change their menu frequently, so although they usually have chicken on the menu, it will often be prepared in different ways, with different delicious accompaniments. If you're lucky, they'll have the Flintstonian-sized Berkshire pork chop, which is just amazing, and will feel minimum 3 people They are also excellent at providing meals for people with dietary issues, and there is always a vegetarian option, usually rice or polenta-based, which are not compromised substitutes for meaty entrees. Vegans (or anyone else): don't miss the coconut-cocoa bon-bons for dessert, which they always have, even though it's not on the menu. If I have one complaint about the food, I would say that on occasion, it can be a bit too salty for my taste. That is not worth a mere 4-star rating, though. The atmosphere and service are warm and friendly, and since it's a neighborhood place, it has a convivial feeling because most people know each other, possibly just from meeting while having a meal or a fantastic cocktail at the bar.
This is the quintessential Brooklyn restaurant. Neighborhood and community driven. Honest food and the best burger in NYC. Sunday suppers are very special. Salads are amazing! An intelligent wine and cocktail list full of great value.
Love this place and need to go more often. I'm not a steak guy (at all) but for whatever reason, ordered a steak here one night. It was awesome! I've also had the burger which is served minimally but the natural flavor is so great, I never want fixuns. Definitely try one of their cocktails which are masterfully mixed.
Note: This place is a bit off the beaten path but worth the trip. After dinner, you can cross the street and head to Toby's Public House to wash everything down with some great beer.
This cozy spot it s all about high quality food and the warmest staff. The mussels are delicious and the burger is the best I have ever had. The drinks are creative and after all it s hard to have room for dessert, but we tried the non-dairy chocolate cake and it was perfectly smooth. This place makes me love more live in Park Slope.
burger is fantastic. simple, elegant, flavorful. duck fat wedges are great. this meal definitely fills you up, and price is quite reasonable. cozy environment. friendly staff. can get a little crowded later in the evening, however.
My friends and I came here for dinner right when they opened (6 PM), so we were able to get a table for 4 next to the window. We all wanted to try the famous burger! The burger is definitely big enough to share if you also want to start with an appetizer or salad. I started with the arugula salad, which was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend said that the cocktail he had was very well made. We didn't want to spend too much money on our first trip here, but I will definitely be back for the Sunday supper so that I can try more dishes! Service was very friendly, but somewhat slow, so don't be in a hurry when you come here. Just enjoy the food!
Love this place! It s a neighborhood favorite that never disappoints in all aspects. Yummy food, killer burger and chicken, great veggie options, excellent wine list, great cocktails and the service is wonderful. Cheers to all the good folk working with their good souls in this restaurant.
A neighborhood restaurant in the best sense, Lot 2 turns out great cocktails, one of my fave NYC burgers (w/ stellar duck fat wedge fries), and quality farm to table food. I wish they'd change the beer list.
I admire this venue a lot. there is a unique feeling. The meals are splendid. the service is efficient and the personel is friendly. The pay is reasonable. very much recommend.
How is it that I haven't written a review of Lot2 yet? Bar none my favorite neighborhood restaurant boasting a very on trend American menu, excellent vegetarian options, and a kitchen always willing to please. The staff has been there for years in this family run restaurant. Of special note: the cocktails by Dawn Kintzle are fantastic. A nice place for an intimate dinner, great for gathering parties of six, and family dinner on Sundays that starts at 5pm. Aat at the bar if it's crowded, order a father-in-law (you'll have to go to find out what this is), dinner, and tell them Heidi sent ya!
