Not sure if it is coming from the pub itself or the shopping centre, but the air freshener is very strong and a serious health Hazzard! for people with asthma. I had to leave after 20 minutes because it was getting hard to breathe.

Wish I could give this establishment a zero star for their absolutely appalling, racist behaviour. On the 27 July 2019, we took our Filipino friend for a night out in Coolangatta. We lined up to get our IDs checked and when our friend s Filipino licence was checked, we were told it was legally not a valid form of ID, despite us getting in other clubs and RSLs with the same form of ID.

The blonde security guard kept pointing at the signs on the wall saying it s up there, it s the law. Yet when we asked where it stated that, he said I don t know, I don t have time to read it. Then we were pushed away and refused entry. We googled the law surrounding this, and established that international drivers licences are a valid form of ID and the security guard had just blatantly lied to refuse our entry.

When we returned to tell them that this law was in fact made up, the little blonde kid behind the desk who had witnessed the earlier interaction, told us to go away (in much ruder language) and that they didn t care for our laws. We then spoke to another security guard who said that we could come in, seeing that we were in the right. We obviously did not want to support a business that lets their staff get away with blatant racist behaviour. The little blonde kid behind the desk refused to take any responsibility for what had happened and would not even apologise.

They proceeded to say that they were not a racist establishment, but they don t let Aboriginal people in because they cause trouble. Absolutely disgusting that a place in 2019 can get away with this behaviour with zero consequence.

Low rating due to bistro. Steak was burnt (they said it was cooked on char grill) tho was easily resurrected by the chef who cooked it again on a pan instead. Waitress seemed annoyed. Bad vibes was uncomfortable

Some friends and i were visiting the hotel for a dinner, and the service was appalling. The staff had zero customer service skills and were beyond rude. They acted like they were doing us a favour by serving us, and were sarcastic and abrupt with us. When asked if we could split payment for an order, I received no recognition or reply and was given a cold stare from the man behind the bar. I definitely will not be returning and would certainly not ever recommend this place to ANY friends. Highly disappointing and food was below mediocre, not to mention cold and bland. The menu did not have enough details, with a dish having tomatoes in it and was not mentioned at all on the menu and our friend is severely allergic to tomatoes.

It s 2019, and is still hard to offer one vegan option in a restaurant menu? Yes, apart from salads. I wasn t able to stay accompanying my fellas, and that could happen to any other people with a plant based diet who might visit the restaurant for any social reason.

$11 for a pint of V.B, and its 22.50 for a jug of V.B? Makes no sense. $13 for nachos, with stale chips, pre-grated cheese, gluggy sour cream, canned salsa, and the guacamole? I shutter to think. Can't really blame the establishment, as the workers are going through the motions with no passion for their jobs. Due to the lack of job opportunities. I get it. But this is life, and this is my review. And here's the kicker. Back home in Melbourne, I'm a kitchen hand. And my standards are higher than the establishments Head Chef. Proof of the workers, just going through the motions to get by in life. No drive. No passion. And no professionalism.

POSTING THE SAME AS BELOW AS I WAS THERE AND FELT ...

POSTING THE SAME AS BELOW AS I WAS THERE AND FELT AS IF THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD EVER RECIEVED IN MY LIFE, FELT SO DISCRIMINATED OVER MY AGE AND CLEARLY WE ARENT THE ONLY YOUNGGER ADULTS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS IF YOU READ THERE REVIEWS. ABUSIVE STAFF MEMBERS AND A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A MANAGER WHO STOOD THERE LAUGHING WHEN SHE TOLD US WE WERENT WELCOME TO SIT DOWN AND EAT.

If i could rate this place a 0 i would. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I am an adult, i went in with my friend and my little cousin (16 years old) for a nice lunch near the beach. I walk in to be told i am not allowed to eat here as my cousin is not 18. Then they changed their story to they have a house rule that no one under 18 is allowed to eat in here unless they are with their legal parent/care giver. What a load of rubbish. I seen grandparents with there grandchildren and i doubt any of them were the legal parent/care giver. I bet you now that they didn't ask any adult walking in with a minor if they were the legal guardian. I believe this is age discrimination! We weren't even going to order alcohol if that was the problem we just wanted food. How could they not let us stay there and enjoy a meal if we weren't even wanting to drink. I cannot believe this place is still standing. so willing to throw away paying customers. I doubt they asked anyone else with a minor if they were the parent but because we were young they discriminated against us. They were rude and as i walked out i asked someone outside and she was an aunty not a care giver AN AUNTY to the minor she was eating lunch with. I find it disgusting that they tried to say it was a house rule but if i was 40 years old taking my cousin out i bet you they wouldn't even bat an eyelid. Do not give these rude, snobby and indecent humans a cent of your money. Not only was the place dirty, the food looked disgusting as we walked out and i seen bugs all over the floor. CAN YOU MOP? i have never experienced anything like this and I've been to plenty of taverns, pubs and commercial hotels. ALL I WANTED WAS FOOD? How rude to throw out paying customers who didn't even want to drink. All over a 16 year old being with me. Whats the point of Australia legalising 18 year olds to be classified as adults if we have no privileges in places like this. AGE DISCRIMINATION YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AND RETHINK OF BETTER HOUSE RULES BECAUSE THAT IS A JOKE. You will not be getting a cent off me EVER. Q

Dishonest, tourist trap. The meals are really, really small. The service is exceedingly terrible. They literally just don't care. Tourist trap. Lamb shanks (plural on the menu) means more than one. That is what it means to use the plural. If they are to write it correctly they would write "Lamb Shank" singular. However nobody would buy the meal if they wrote that.

False and misleading advertising
