Cold beer great meals good service..best live bands on the coast

Went for lunch and ordered the reef and beef special. Was really nice and I was happy. Meal came out in good time. Only downside was my partner had the steak sandwich and the steak was so dry and hard it was like trying to eat a fake rubber steak, it was inedible. The special meals come with a beer or wine. Would love for them to include soft drinks too as I don't drink and wasted my drink voucher.

From Sydney and we have very strict laws however the security here are the worst I've encountered! They Treat their patrons like criminals. My group of 4 had no particular issue with security, however I was extremely unimpressed with their act of superiority.

Compliments to the chef tonight. Was told they were understaffed but meals came out quickly and at the same time as a huge table next to us. Could see the chef working super hard in the kitchen. Food was delicious and hot. Thanks :)

First day they didn t let us get in because of the IDs. Second day because of the shoes. They definitely don t wanna have us as customers.

Great Entertainment venue. Good crowd. Well supervised. I didn't mind $10.00 Vodkas as I figured this was part of my cover charge to pay for the Solo act and then the Band. If there's no Entertainment then I'm not sure if I'd have a drink at that cost.

Great live music venue with good size dance space, good drink selection and cheap cocktails. Club upstairs. Good for sporting events also. Conveniently located across the road from beach and parking. Open early til late.

More suited to young people. Food was ordinary. Drink queue was long. Noisy.

I am a member of Coolangatta Surf Life Saving Club.
On Origin night we could not get dinner for 2 even as early as 5.30pm.
I know several people who went there, not being members, not booked and ate.
I now resign from the Club. I pay membership to support the Club, I am only here for one week per year, so not worth it.
Incidentally we went to Cooly pub, had spare ribs and steak with prawns, much cheaper than member prices at Club, and better food.

The manager (a mature lady) was extremely rude !! Never going there again. She acted like she didn t understand anything I said just because I have a bit of an accent, she could clearly understand everything. I felt discriminated.

Met some amazing people at the Cooly Hotel, bar staff very friendly. Our son who is in a wheelchair had the best time with friendly people and excellent rocking band
