Look at all these bad reviews and I haven't even a biased one yet. 3 stars cause you aren't true... why? Cause your General Lee truck doesn't have the confederate flag on top. Don't call it the General Lee... How could I ever trust you to buy a car from??

Just drove from Elizabethtown to Louisville after calling to see if they had a specific year, model, and engine size. The salesman PAUL said they did have what I was looking for. After a 45 minute drive and a 15 minute wait, I was told they had a 3 year old vehicle that was the same as I was looking for. What a joke and waste of time. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. I will make sure to give some great advertisement for them. They are the ones losing out. I'm buying a $45000 vehicle, but NEVER from them.

We went here a few years ago to buy a brand new Durango. Every one that we drove had over 5000 miles on it. When we asked, they told us that the managers drive them up to a certain amount of miles and still consider them brand new. Then two of them smelled of smoke. These were brand new $40,000 vehicles!! Needless to say, we bought somewhere else..... So several years have passed and I now own a Ram 3500 (bought somewhere else). I work right up the street from the dealership, so I was going to give the Service Department a shot. Oh my god, what a circus! They didn't have a clue and looked like they had been to an all night party and came straight to work afterwards. No professionalism what so ever. Then couldn't tell me when a loaner vehicle would be available and that I would have to rent my own. I guess I didn't get enough the first time. I called Oxmore Dodge and they were very courteous, polite, and took care of all of my needs. I will never go back to Commonwealth Dodge and it's hard to believe that the same owners own Town and Country Ford across the street. Night and day difference.

Horrible customer service, had my pick up truck sitting in the service department for over two weeks and could not get a loaner vehicle. Brought it in again for another problem on the vehicle and still did not receive a loaner vehicle. DO NOT recommend this dealership at all.

I have been trying to buy a truck for a week... The salesman has been almost impossible to get ahold of... Not to mention we where going to buy a used car for my stepdaughter.... They originally told us the price of $5500 and the next day it jumped to $6400 because someone offered them that price they said. When we went to go finalize on our truck today they had sold the car that they said they where holding for us (because they wanted to make it a package deal). Needless to say this dealership is very unprofessional and I don't think they should even be in business.

Great experience with this dealership. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Keeping in mind the bottom line is they need to make sales to get paid, because that's the way the world works, they are very helpful in giving you information on the cars you are interested in so you can make a decision that's best for you. At no point in time did we ever feel pressured into buying or even looking at a car we did not want to. Our salesman was always a stones throw away, and he gave us the space we needed to discuss and make our decisions. He was also very genuine in making sure we were content with our decision before we continued with the purchase.

If you are honest and upfront about your monthly budget, down payment and credit history they will, to the best of their ability, get you into a car you can afford. Don't waste your own time by not being honest with yourself about such a large purchase! We even called ahead and talked to finance before we even went to the lot.

Only time will tell if the Dodge we purchased is actually a car that's worth its salt, but as far as the our experience with the dealership goes A+. We were in and out in about 4 hours, which is good considering it was on a very sunny Saturday and they were pretty packed.

I am usually not the car lot type of person, have always had horrible experiences with car dealers and lots but Greg Howell was great. He asked what I was looking to do and stuck with the actual limits that I had set. Greg was very helpful and didn't try to push the limits. I am very happy with the car I got and would recommend going to see Greg Howell any day. He knows his cars and is willing to work with ya. Thanks again Greg you have no idea how excited I am with my car.

Had recently wrecked my car and was needed another 1... went 2 Commonwealth Dodge and talked with Mr. Gus and Mr. Hoover and i love it... Mr. Hoover worked with me and my boyfriend and got us the best deal... We r very much in love with our 2019 Dodge Charger!!! Would def recommend this dealership 2 everyone... 5 stars all the way!!!

This was the most dishonest and deceitful dealersh...

This was the most dishonest and deceitful dealership I've dealt with in over 30 years of purchasing vehicles. The salesman annotates what you require and takes it to a manager. He (Paul) first of all try to mislead you by documenting request of required repairs to be done in a way in which requires the dealership to do nothing. He then lies to you again and states that you can bring your vehicle back on a certain day when he has not schedule anything. Finally, when you bring it there, the new management states that they did not authorize the repairs the customer required before purchasing their vehicles. I hope the BBB look into this circus of a business and shut them down. If you are dumb and gullible, this is the place for you. However, if you are an intelligent and a educated person on most aspects of life, stay away from this cess pool of liars and thieves.

Don't ever buy a car from here would give negative stars but it don't let you I was lied to from there day I bought the car I bought a 2013 Dodge Dart there's so many problems with the car I don't understand how they're saying it was a certified pre-owned I have owned the car for about 8 months now and it's been in the shop more than it's been at my house now it's been at the shop for 2 weeks because the computers out they're trying to tell me it's got wiring issues which a certified pre-owned car should not have and they're trying to give me some ridiculous amount that I have to pay given that I've only owned the car for 8 months don't ever shop here they're liars and cheats I'll be calling my credit card company to have them take the car because dodge won't do anything to help me beware if you want to good service go to Kia

My parents in their 70s bought a 2016 jeep patriot on Sunday,wrote a check for it .i checked the jeep out on their website Monday morning to see it.it was 2700.00 cheaper then what they sold it to them for.I contacted their salesman.Ken Sanders.ask him about it.told me h would get back with me.I called him 3 times then call the sales manager to find out if they could get that price..ummm their answer was no cause they didn't say they wanted the internet price..its amazing that a car dealership can mark up cars so much that they tell you your getting in on sale.but if your internet friendly you really get a sale.

Absolute RIP off! As a veteran owned small business every dollar counts. Taylor, service advisor, called to tell me it would be just under $2,000.00 to fix an issue with the heater on a 2 year old van. Charged me $120.00 to tell me this. Got it fixed elsewhere for just under $400.00. We purchased several small vans, brand new, from this dealership in the past. That will NEVER happen again

A/C Doesn't work in my vehicle which I made clear during the test drive. I've had the vehicle for 6 months and they have given me excuses as to why they can't and won't fix it. Plus, they let me drive away with 3 broken lug nuts that i just found this weekend. I've been on trips already with my kids in the car! Not cool, bad for business....

I would recommend them to anybody. The service department works quick and also they have a parts area. Every time I have a problem with my car they are always eager to help! Very good dealership.

HORRIBLE place to do business. Andre Tilford lied to me about a deal that was being made just to keep me from going anywhere. I purchased a vehicle 10 months ago, only to later find out that guy, Steve Johnson was a felon. They will tell you anything. Mike Thomas who is second in command there stands behind his dishonest sales people they hire. He told me these guys see a customer they see just a sale .

Also, a lot of the good reviews on here are from people who work there! Tim Biery to name one.

I will NEVER do business with them again. Steer clear! Lots of GREAT dealers in Louisville to choose from. Stay away from this one!

I ha the best experience today at commonwealth dodge located at 6408 Preston hwy Louisville ky, 40219 The entire sales staff, Ad Brown is the best salesman very caring to the point and wont do you wrong. The dealer management Howard, Kenny, Tyran and auto manager Mike wiseman. made my dream truvk come true. I bought a dodge ram 1500 and i couldnt have done it without the awesome staff here at commonwealth dodge. Thank you all for everything!

Last December we bought a car at this dealership, very good service with the man who did the business and all his employees in the apartment. Today my husband is going for the second time to do his oil change for free since that is what I know. He informed us that there were two free oil changes and the man who attended to him in the workshop informed him that only one of us had to do it. If this is just an oil change, what can you expect with the rest ??? For our part 1 star is too much, pity that I cannot give it a zero, I'll be back I repeat the floor employees nothing to see, excellent work

Then the ignorant GM disrespected me. It was bad enough to make another family leave the dealership. Go there, get screwed.

I have never been treated so poorly by a car dealership. I have bought two cars in the past from Commonwealth Dodge, but this was a terrible experience. I was looking to trade in my car for a truck. Admittedly, I knew I was upside down on my car and a deal might be difficult (information that I shared up front). Also admittedly, I am not that financially savvy in terms of understanding exactly how auto loans are figured. Although my salesperson was fine, the sales manager, Kenny, was rude, condescending, and dishonest. When I asked for him to indulge me by going through the calculations with me so that I understood, he told me he didn't have to and that the computer did it all. When I said I wasn't comfortable with it, he said, "Some people don't know when their getting a good deal." Finally, I was able to speak with someone in the finance department who explained the loan to me to my satisfaction, and we were able to agree to terms on the loan. Part of the agreement was that I would put $500 down. I waited well over another hour on paperwork and allowed my debit card to be charged the $500 because I was led to believe we had a deal. I finally insisted that I needed to get home and would return the next day. They even had me clean out my trade in and let me take the truck home. I was told the paperwork would be ready for me the next day. Upon returning the next day, the deal was not what we had agreed upon. I was obviously angry, especially because they had taken my money under false pretenses. I demanded my money from Kenny to which he replied, "I'll put it back on your card." That was five days ago, and my $500 is still not back in my account. Since then, I've received texts from the customer service manager still attempting to sell me the truck, assuring me that my money would be put back, yet it never has. Kenny, if you read this, I would just like to say that I work in healthcare and if we ever cross paths in my arena, rest assured that you will be treated with the respect that a customer, or another person for that matter, deserves. I'm sure you don't care, and that's fine with me. However, I will never give you my business again and I will do my best to discourage any of my friends, family, and anyone who will listen from shopping at Commonwealth Dodge.

My car has been at that place for weeks! They are supposed to be waiting on a piece for my car. The delivery date supposedly keeps getting changed. If I knew that my car wouldn t have its piece for weeks I would have taken it somewhere else! It s been 2-3 weeks of me renting a car just to get around because the department never got their piece for my car. However, they said it was supposed to be here weeks ago! I would have taken my car to another place. In a matter of fact I did, the only reason why I changed my mind and it took it to the dealership was because I thought they could be trusted with my car. Not only am I supposed to pay a huge amount for the piece and to have it installed, but I already buy a bunch of money into rental cars. Next time I have a problem with my car, I will never take it here!!! Furthermore, I will buy a car from this shady dealership!!!!!!! Not once did they even apologize for the wait. I ve been lied to and I just wasted my money fooling with them.

Was told my wait would be possibly 3 hours or more, so I needed to get a ride. I asked to utilize the shuttle service and they told me they had no-one, because they were short staffed. (This is the second time I ve been here and they ve said that)

Paid $15 for a Uber home, only to get a call 30 mins later that my car was done. Paid another $15 for another Uber back.

The manager was not apologetic, really didn t seem to know what he was doing or the situation of his staff.

Worst service from a dealer I ve experienced. Save your money and go somewhere else, where they take the time to assist you as a customer.

Well it definitely was not a lie about the reviews service there sucks. Just went in and the receptionist was too busy playing her tablet then to even notice that I've been standing there for about five minutes, and then I had to basically jump up in the air before anybody noticed that I was back in the back in the service department zero acknowledgment.

Do not go to this place they will tell you are approved, then let you take it home. After 4 days the will ask for it back and keep $200.00 for oil change. They claim the paperwork was incorrect due to one of the sales guys put the wrong vin numbers. Please be careful they will do you wrong.

Horrible place. Salesman was pushy. Wouldn't tell us the price of the truck he showed us, only that we could get financed for it. When he pulled the truck around, the back tail light was busted out. My wife, on the way to the bathroom, overheard the finance manager tell the salesman he didnt want to be there all night. Rude people. Wouldn't send my worse enemy here. The salesman called the next day to see if we were still interested. When I told him no, he got very upset, told me I had terrible credit and was lucky he spent time on me. Avoid this place.

I received a letter from Commonwealth Dodge telling me I could trade in the car that I bought from them and keep my payments the same as well as transfer my lifetime drivetrain warranty and also offered lifetime oil changes, a target gift card just for coming in, and a few other things. Sounds too good to be true, right? After finding a car that I liked, I took it for test drive and decided to do up the paperwork to see what we could do. The grill had a small crack on it, had to fight to even get them to offer to fix it, they finally agreed to it. After filling out all the paperwork, they tell me that the life time oil changes are no longer part of it and that they had retracted that. I never even heard anything about the gift card. I didn t go there just for the freebie, I was very interested in getting a car. The sales person was very condescending, threw papers at me for me to review and sign. As I reviewed it, he tells me I don't have to read it, just sign it. I would not recommend buying a car from this company ever!

I was needing a second car. After looking all over town and being treated like a second class citizen because I'm a women, I stopped by Commonwealth and was greeted by Rick Hoover. Rick listened to me . I told him my budget I was working with. Told him what I needed as far as equipment. He showed me a couple of cars that were perfect. Im so happy with my choice and my new dealership, especially my new sales guy Rick.
He deserves a 5 star rating on his own.
So if your in need go see him .He's the best.

Convinced us to go for a new car by saying payment would be where we wanted it, only to come back saying payment would be $150 more than we could afford. Kept trying to push even when we said no. Commonwealth dodge is a dishonest car dealership. You better think twice. A sale price just below $10,000 after their bogus financing, ended up $18.000 that's the price of the car literally doubled. Was told their usual bank wouldn't finance the car for the required months to pay it off. Informed me they used a bank I will not disclose. I notified the agency and they had no knowledge or paperwork of any such loan. I have a form that CD presented to me allegedly from the financial institution. So why doesn't that institution have any such paperwork. I called commonwealth Dodge back and imformed a salesman that I had spoken to a spokesperson at at the Bank. He said he would call me back.
Never have I ever been spoken to in such a disrespectful manner. He threatened to send the Police to my house for theft by deception because I wanted to return the car. I am unsure of his name but he's a manager in the store. I think his name is ROBERT, Who does that type of mess. I should have reviewed them first. This is another dissatisfied customer down below. F....K commonwealth dodge. There are plenty who've had bad experiences with these people. Can't blame the one who sold it to me. I'm hoping he was uninformed of these bogus actions.

Terrible experience! The first gentleman that greeted us (Mark) was great and real and understood what we wanted. When we explained we wanted to go to another dealership to feel out our options he called over another salesperson who I believe was a manager (Chris). What we thought was a good experience turned into chaos when we got home. Everything we had been told would happen regarding the car did not. There were spots on the interior that were supposed to be cleaned and allegedly they had been although the car didn't look like it had even been vaccuumed out. They told us we had to purchase an extended warranty plan and already had it written into the contract. The overcharged us for the vehicle (which I know was partially our fault) by nearly 10,000 making it next to impossible to get it refinanced considering the "best" loan they could find us was almost 10%. They told us the plates would show up at the dealer and instead got mailed to the wrong address in another state. I would not recommend going to this dealership unless you are well seasoned in the art of conning, deceit and lying and are able to give them back a dish of their own medicine.

I only gave it 1 star because it let me give negative stars. Worse service dept I have ever seen. There service writers are kids. Have no automotive knowledge. They wear chuck Taylor's to work with no socks. A young man with died pink hair. Impossible to get any info on the status of you vehicle. Very unprofessional. There 1600$ estimate was hand written in bubble letters on a loose leaf piece of paper on pink pen with arrows on it. No itemized estimate. The only thing that saved anyone was how clean the mechanic kept my car. But holy crap ... I will never ever use these people again until they can manage there service writers and hire some writers that are car literate. It was a joke. Not to mention, I called a second dodge dealership to get a quote on the exact same write up and it was 600$ cheaper. This service dept should be ashamed of themselves. No one person who works hard for there money is going to throw 1600$ at you with service writers who are representing your company as a whole.... With this kind of unprofessionalism.
