Very poor experience. I have had accounts with Ally for years. I recently opened an new Ally checking account and attempted to fund it with a check made out to me by my credit union. The credit union made a mistake and reported the account closed and the check bounced. Instead of contacting me and trying to work out the problem, Ally closed my new account without explanation and without appeal. This is an unacceptable way to treat new or old customers. Further, Ally said they would have a supervisor call me and they ghosted me with no call. I sent the president of Ally Bank a linkedin message asking to explain my experience - again, no response! If you want a caring customer experience, I recommend other banks!
