Half of the animals where put up somewhere and lots of misbehaved children

Minimal crowding and up close animal encounters! Great experience, loved the park.

It's free! Just a free will donation. It's connected to the park and Tippecanoe cove water park which is at a perfect price for my family. My kids enjoy the baby goats and chicks.

Parking and the zoo are both free. It is kind of small, but they are expanding still. My kids love petting the goats and seeing the variety of animals.

Great free entertainment for kids! It will be even better when the penguin exhibit is finished.

Miss to old pool but still a very nice place to take the kids and family

Lots of fun; great water facility. Don't bother bringing your own blow up items, you won't be allowed to use them.

The goat exhibit is always awesome. The prairie dogs were actually out this time as well

Great place for the kids, would of loved to have the kids see the old park however but still not bad.

Terrible used to come with family every year as a child was shocked how much it changed I was heartbroken and disappointed!!

I like it, but no scooters allowed? Fine I guess I won't enjoy your parks?

The zoo is pretty great, it is on the small side but it is still fun to go and see the animals. There isn't many great things you can do for free but this is one of them!

Great place to go for free entertainment. Water park (costs money), zoo (free), park. Has shelters with picnic tables, basketball courts, pond, train that goes around (few dollars).

The zoo was closed for expansion but the park is always a great place to go and have the little ones run around at. I highly recommend visiting this park, it has a little bit for everyone.

Not a large zoo but it's free and nice. Get to see wallabys, monkeys, otters, butterflies, petting zoo, and more.

Can't beat a free zoo. Love the walk through area with the wallabies. Cheap family fun!

Great place to take kids. Had a large playground area and the zoo is pretty impressive for being free.

Good place to let your friends and family have cookouts but the kids enjoy themselves along with the adults having too

Wonderful little gem in the city. Free. Animals are usually out, visible and interactive. Clean. Love this place.

I love this zoo! It's great for small children. There is also a park across the street, and it's just a nice area to walk around. They don't have the typical big zoo animals like bears, tigers or gorillas. But we had just as much fun with the animals they did have. There are many interactive things set up to make it fun for everyone.

What a great (free) place to take the kids! They love seeing the butterfly gardens & animal exhibits.

Thumbs up to the parks and rec staff on this one. Good free park with plenty for the kids. Nice little train ride with a $2 donation per person.

The park is always clean and the zoo is always a great time.

Nothing to do there, yes we enjoy the baseball games. They need to fix the wall around the lagoon & clean it up.

We try to visit with our grandchildren when we camp at Prophetstown S.P. the zoo is small but very very nice. There is a short traini ride you can take while there and 3 or 4 different playgrounds for the kids to play at and have a picnic lunch. Best Part...all free!

Great place to go as a family. They also have a petting zoo and baseball field.

Park is very clean and well laid out. Zoo is also clean with friendly personnel but could use more variety in the animal department.

Clean and well maintained zoo that's free... Unbeatable! Employees/voulenteers are friendly and attentive too! The petting zoo is my daughters favorite part, though...

Wonderful FREE little zoo to spend the afternoon at. Excellent education center for kids birthday parties or other events. Super friendly and helpful staff! My favorite part has to be the wallaby walkabout where you can roam with the wallabies.

I enjoy it at the park I like fishing there to awesome place for the whole family

We went to the Labor Day picnic. Held by the local unions for everyone in the community. It's always a great time for kids.

They no longer exist in the wild, only in zoos.

This was a cute little free zoo with a train to ride. Fun place to go, not a ton of animals, but enough to keep kids interested.

Fantastic park in Lafayette. Houses a small zoo, baseball stadium, water park, and multiple playgrounds. It has something available for multiple age group of children!

There is also a small train (relatively inexpensive) that runs most of the year around the park.

Great little local park with big time play! For the size of Lafayette and the fact everything is free, this is a great spot to take the kids to play on the many play areas or visit the Zoo! Prairie Dogs are out! Large pond, train, wildlife, shelters and grills. Fun place for friends and memories!

Getting over ran with the people that are leaving an the community now an for the last 20 years . the town wants too grow no matter the cost . cus that is what a thriving city has to do to keep growing. . if people are rude talking loudly so they are being seen an herd then just remember not everyone there are from the tippecanoe county community they don't no any better. Bring some bread for the ducks an please pick up your trash a lot of areas too picnic with family an FRIENDS grill at each pavilion. Bring your charcoal.

They have alot of fun things to do for free or pretty cheap and a really nice zoo and my kid's love it there

Nice little zoo. My 10 year old granddaughter loved it

This was such a sweet little zoo!! Perfect for little kids. We loved the wallabies and the petting zoo and the butterflies the best. I thought the train ticket prices were a bit much. We spent about 2 hours here. I'd go back with my little kids, probably not big ones.

For a 1 and 1/2 yr old, it was perfect. She loved the goats.

Very small but the distractions are nice . We had a great time & enioyed the splash pad & train ride .

It s a good park for the equipment they have but the children who come here unsupervised is the downfall. They re so mouthy and have no respect for little ones. Cursing and trying to fight ..so if it s not crowded then it s good to go but if it is, turn your car around.

It's a cute little zoo. Great for an hour or two of fun with kids.

They have free things for everyone and kids too enjoy! Including a car show. We all enjoyed ourselves. Very friendly people...i know my kids enjoyed themselves and us 4 adults did too. Can't wait for another carnival... Free to get in ect.

I think this place is definitely a family oriented type of place. It s free to get in. We love the butterfly exhibit and don t forget about the monkeys.

Free zoo, only thing that you need to pay for are rides and feeding the goats. Right now there are tons of baby goats. There is a water feature that toddlers love so be prepared with spare clothes!

This place has changed alot (for the better) since I have been going there as a child.. Very well maintained
