Update 5/21 Honda contacted me regarding my issue, they took care of it 100 percent and fixed my dash at no cost to me. They left me a car for the week it took, as parts take some time with everything going on. And I couldn t be happier! Thank you so much for the communication and great customer service! I will certainly be back, as I fell in LOVE with my loaner car!
The customer service and communication is poor. We bought our car in full on 5/2. We were told it needed to be serviced and detailed before we could take home. We agreed to this. That was our first mistake. When we got our car on 5/4, the detail was horrible, also we received no paperwork stating what or if any service was done. Unacceptable.. my husband just hoped maybe they would send service information when title and extra key comes in. The plastic mats where still on the floor and white powder covered every surface of the car. Sadly It took a few days for anyone to contact us regarding our dissatisfaction with the detail job. When they finally got back to us we set up it to be picked up on 5/9. Sadly I had to call and remind them of this, as I was told there was no record. They took my car and sadly it came back in the same condition. I called them again, now this issue wouldn t have been major but the dash of the car was perfect when bought but now was ruined. I was hoping they could fix and make right. I was told by the person handling the issues as my sales rep had a personal matter that he himself would make sure my car was completed correctly on Monday 5/11. Fast forward to 5/11, our sales rep called and confirmed what was needed, stated my car wasn t even handled correctly in his absence, that they didn t even detail it Sat. Which I knew from the results. They picked up from my work on 5/11. 3:30 rolls around and I haven t heard anything, so I call my sales rep twice and leave a message. Nothing back. I call at 4:45pm as I leave work at 5 and want some update on my car and to make sure it s returned to the correct place. Got through, then got a call back stating it wasn t finished yet. Ok No big deal but communication goes a long way. Finally get my car back today 5/12 and while finally all the white powder is off. The some of the damage to the dash was fixed. My dash is still ruined. As I paid cash in full for this car, I m the one eating the damage not Honda.
Communication to the customer is number one is auto sales, service and repairs.
The lack of it, and the lack of concern that whoever ruined a piece of my car is concerning.
I got a great car out of the transaction, just wish I would have been treated much better regarding my car, I understand I don t have a loan but I m still a paying customer. And you make money in hopes i return for all my service and repair needs.
Lastly during the current time, you would expect my car be returned to me very clean and handled well.
