I have been a loyal customer for 25 years and was always satisfied with everyone at colonial But now i have a problem and cant get any help. Seems. LIKE I M being avoided. I bought many top of the line cars and recommended many people to colonial who have purchased and leased vehicles i have a top of the line camry xle with only 35000 miles on it. I keep my vehicle in mint condition. You can ask bob forman. He knows me very well i know many of the people at colonial who are very nice my problem is this. Everytime itrains now my drivers side floor gets soaked as well as the rear drivers sidefloor and the drivers side window air bag has water leaking when it rains This should not be. I put a 23000 dollar deposit when ibought this car and was truly satisfied My car always has to be covered and cant get any help. I needed my car to go see my mother in westchester who was very ill and had to lease a vehicle to go see her becore she passed away. Can anyone please help me withthis. Bobby crabtree you know me. I met you a few times. I m a loyal customer can you please help. Because my top of the line vehicle is gettig destroyed by this leak. Its a disgrace. Hope your all staying safe atthis time. Bought 2 cars over 7 years at this dealership. Planning on a third, not because of brand loyalty, but because of the service and atmosphere of the dealership.

Update 7/2019:
Can no longer recommend this sales team. Would not make good on offers THEY extended to me. Offered 20% above book on trade in, then appraised me 30% BELOW book. Offered "up to 2500" loyalty cash but could not tell me how much, if any, of that 2500 was applied. Quoted me monthly payments and APR without producing ANY itemized paperwork. Colonial now seems to be you're typical profit over customer dealership.

Leaving two stars based on my happy service history with them. Stick with Bob as your service advisor and you won't go wrong.

Worst service department I've ever dealt with. This is based on every experience I've had with them. Not once have they provided good service. You make a appointment for service for something as simple as oil change and you wait for 3+ hours. One time I waited over 2 1/2 hours for them to come out and tell me they over booked and I would have to reschedule.Whats the point of making a appointment then? You make a appointment show up and they say cant find you in the in the system. They canceled a recall fix at the time the appointment was scheduled to start, and that's after they confirmed the appointment 4 times via email and phone. People have to shift their schedules like taking time off from work to have these things done and they have yet to hold up to there end of the bargain, not once. You get no response from them and there is no remorse or effort to make anything right even after they admit fault. Jeff in sales was great to deal with and very responsive and is the only good experience we have had. I have bought one car and leased another from them but I will be bringing my business else ware in the future where the customer service doesn't stop after they get your money. Very disappointed.I Don't buy a car here if you want any type of customer service after you sign

I recently took my honda crv to Colonial Toyota for an AC checkup. I had gotten an estimate at a private Gulf location and was told it needed a compressor so I decided to get a second opinion. The team at Colonial could not have been more courteous. The service department is second to none. More importantly they know what they are doing so instead of charging me an inordinate amount of money for a problem that did not exist , they informed me that it was a simple solution and cost 25% of the estimate I had received. What a shock! The honesty made me a loyal customer.
I recently had a transmission issue and due to my first experience I again went to Colonial where the service manager personally went for a ride with me once the car was done . Since I have no knowledge about cars and felt insecure about the car at this point, this truly helped me feel at ease. I left Colonial Toyota feeling that the worries I had experienced for over 2 weeks could now be put to rest and if you are like me- knowing nothing about cars and their mechanics - this was a huge relief. I will take my car back to Colonial every time and if I feel I need a car , that's where I will be shopping.

RIDICULOUS!!!!!

RIDICULOUS!!!!!
I had my car serviced for a broken tail light. The gentleman working on my car had no idea what he was doing. I said something to a woman who was working in the service department and she came back to tell me that they needed to take apart part of my back bumper to get the tail light out and take apart my wheel well. Ummm ok. Well after paying almost $400 there is now a gap between my tail light and back bumper. Not only that but they bent some of the plastic parts in my trunk and some parts dont match up in the back either. When i called to say something i got hung up on. I called back and they sent me to sales and than i called back a 3rd time and was sent to a voicemail. I work in customer service and thats the worst customer service i have ever received in my life. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. They are quick to take your money but dont want to hear anything after that.
My sister also purchased a car from there and had them put in a remote starter and she said they were extremely rude to her as well. This is not how a business should be ran and i will be calling the Better Business Bureau on Tuesday to have this problem rectified immediately. And I will never get my car serviced here again.

I bought my 2015 Sienna at Colonial Toyota in Milford. They are by far, the best Toyota dealer in CT!
From great prices to amazing staff, Colonial Toyota gives the best customers care. Both sales and service are great. They are respectful and responsive. We couldn't get home on time if it was not for Jessica, Sales Consultant and her team when my van was overheated on June 20 at 3:30P . They provided me with a free rental car while my van was diagnosed for overheating. Thank you, Jessica Sandri and Colonial Toyota in Milford CT! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

We walked away feeling happy and very satisfied with the whole process! It takes a village to sell a car or at least get a great deal. The qualifications we started with while searching for went through many changes and Robert has been patient and understanding as we began working through what was essential in a vehicle. Eli and Mike helped to bring us to a price point we were comfortable with. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to purchase a vehicle we didn't like.

At the end of the day I feel as though we can refer anyone here. We were treated with respect and care.

Last week I stopped by Colonial to look at the new 2020 Corolla and I had the best experience with my salesperson Dale. She was able to answer all of my questions and explained all of the Toyota safety sense features which I loved. I didn t think I was ready to buy at the time but Dale was able to change my mind. I will be back next week to take home my new Corolla SE. Best Toyota dealer around and Dale was a delight!!!

Here is why I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle:
The sales representatives like Hector are friendly, approachable and listen to your needs when searching for a vehicle. The service advisors such as Lenny, Bob, Roger, and Dwayne are very knowledgeable and always willing to work around a busy schedule to accommodate me with a service appointment. And those times when I wait while my car is getting serviced, the facility, showroom and bathrooms are very clean and organized. One can tell that the cleaning staff is excellent and their work shows walking around in the dealership.
They also have complimentary cold refreshments and hot coffee that fit everyone's taste. I can't thank management enough for providing me with refreshments while I wait. It shows that they care enough about the customer after the initial car purchase.
Believe it or not, it's very different in other dealerships within Connecticut. I can honestly say that after visiting twelve foreign car dealerships Colonial Toyota won my trust and future business as a car owner. I worked directly with Lisbeth on a purchase of a new vehicle. She was accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. She even stayed late while I confirmed details of my insurance.

Overall the dealership was a pleasure to work with and take the Covid restrictions such as wearing masks and social distancing seriously. Would recommend in the future

Currently waiting for my car and have been waiting for 2hours30min + for a basic oil change maintenance and They just took it in. I asked when I first came in how long it needed for it to finish, the guy standing in service told me around 1 hour. I came to ask politely about it after 1hour30min and the guy at service told me he still doesn t know when it will finish and he told me its not inside, Assuming they were finished with the maintenance, I replied that if it is done you don t have to wash it and I can take it now. The guy started getting irritated and intolerant to my presence and after another 30minutes he took out my car and told me to take it even though it wasn t done because he seemed to get annoyed and impatient from me since I was asking simple questions of what time will it finish . If I could of haved a real estimate time of finish I would have ubered it to run errands instead of unknowingly waiting for it till it finish s. I even asked to prepay for the service so it would be more practical to ride in the car when it finishes but he didn t allow me to do so. He told me that he was getting backfired from me even though i was polite and just wanted to know the answer of some questions he also was very rude when we were talking. I am customer not your butler to talk to m in a rough manner. There are 14 other Toyota dealerships in CT, After buying my car in 2013 from Toyota of Milford and consistently having all my maintenances done here since 2013, I will no longer repeat this inconvenience and will choose another dealership. I was even looking at trading in my car for another model here too, but thank god I didn t. I will never come back here again.

In November of 2018 I lost my second baby. A Volkswagen Passat 2.0 Turbo 2008 got it in 2009 YES it was10 years old but I kept it up. This year I was going to pass it on to my first born that turned the (BIG18) but tragedy struck my car got hit and spun it to a Police vehicle. So my search begins with getting into something safe and a little more up to date. I drove in to Colonial Toyota and before I could find a park a salesman man step off the curb and greeted me he said hello my name it Nick how can I be a help for you this afternoon and from there he treated me like royalty A Queen as I am Nick listen to my like and dislike needs and want's price range and all. Question- Before you higher a sales consultant, does management look into their past employment history and reason for separation?? I think not!!! I recently visited a Mitsubishi dealership in Watertown and worked with Jeffrey Rauso Sr. During the sales process there he was very unprofessional towards my mother. He was asking her to add him on her personal Facebook page!? Later that night, my mom received several message request from Mr Rauso along with inappropriate Memes and Pictures of himself. I won t get into those details in this review. I called Jeff and asked him to stop messaging my mother but found out that he continued on for days. My mom and I had no choice but to report him to FB as well as his managers at Mitsubishi. They informed me that he would be terminated as this type of behavior is unacceptable to the auto group.

Today I visited your dealership, only to see Mr Rauso working for Colonial Toyota!!

I will not be doing business with Colonial and recommend you look into your hiring process!

This dealership is run very efficiently. They had a rare vehicle I was specifically looking for with all the bells and whistles; and loaded with upgrades. A true diamond in the rough. They gave me exactly what I asked for on my trade, they did not haggle me. They got the entire deal processed in less than 2 hours and I was on my merry way. Very minimal waiting time. Bryan Velez was my car salesman he did a great job and got it done in a timely fashion. I've had the car for 4 months and it has been incredible. Such a blast to drive! A+

Steer clear..... I purchased a 2007 Cadillac CTS and in less than a month I got stuck on the highway with a dead battery. I called Colonial Toyota Milford numerous times and e-mailed but nobody could give me the courtesy of a call back never mind refund my $195 for the new battery- Initially when I expressed interest in the car, I was hounded by one of their reps, both my phone and by e-mail, now nobody gives a damn. I would never do business with them again.

Don t go to Colonial Toyota unless you are 150% positive that you will be making a purchase that day. I made an appointment to go look at a car. The sales lady I worked with was nice and gave me time to look at different cars. She didn t give me any information on any cars though, she didn t seem to know much about them. Then when we were going inside to go over the numbers her boss was extremely rude. They didn t even ask me if I was sure I wanted to purchase, they just assumed and began the paperwork. Once I told them I need more time to review my budget the main manager kept asking me why and was trying to bully and pressure me into making the purchase. He wouldn t accept my answer until I got stern. It was just why why why when I gave him a clear answer. It didn t make me feel good and definitely was off putting. I will be considering this when I make my decision whether I want to purchase the car or not.

Attention Ladies Beware! I was looking to lease the 2020 Toyota Highlander and since I was close to Milford I went to Colonial Toyota, big mistake. I had spoken to one of the sales managers named Erick Franceschini and he arranged for me to work with Dale S in sales. Dale was very friendly and I connected with her because she's around my age. She wasn't very knowledgable about the car but that was the least of my worries. I had planned on trading in my car and the dealership wanted to buy out my current lease to get me into one of their cars. I test drove the Highlander and loved it so I was open to hearing what deal they would offer. We discussed prices and the sales rep was trying to convince me that they were offering the best deal....until I pulled up the ad on my phone showing what they were advertising on 2020 Toyota Highlanders. I was interested in that specific deal so Dale took the next steps to discuss leasing the car. Next thing you know she came over to me with a paper that said I would need to put down $2,678 in addition to the advertised down payment amount for the lease and also my monthly payment would be $20 higher a month than the advertised deal. I said no thanks and being a sales woman she asked how we can close the deal. I was confused on why the car payment amount went up if that was the deal, it doesn't make sense. We agreed on a number and then the process began. Keep in mind I got there at 2pm and left after closing. I've been to other dealerships let alone Toyota dealerships in CT and they have much better customer service. I went to finance and I met Eric Schars who was awesome, I have nothing but great things to say about him and my finance experience but after that my Colonial Toyota visit started to go downhill. I asked Dale the sales rep when I can pickup the car and she said I would be taking it home tonight. I was a little confused because the car was dirty and it hadn't been serviced or cleaned before being given to me especially with the Covid pandemic and other people test driving it. I knew that the service department was closed but I assumed that they would keep the car and I would pick it up cleaned and ready in a few days, but I guess not. The car has a grey interior and I noticed right away while moving my things from one car to the other that there were a lot of dirt stains on the seats, headrests and doors. I had mentioned this to Dale and she said I can have it taken care of another day. I also made a comment to the manager Erick F about it so he would be informed as well (I went home and cleaned the car myself, I was very disappointed). I had also mentioned to my sales rep about having a remote start installed but not by Toyota and I wanted to double check that it would not be an issue with the warranty or anything and she told me no it's not a problem at all. I had a feeling that wasn't the case so I called another Toyota dealership to check with them and they informed me it would in fact VOID my warranty...i'm glad I double checked. Thank god I called this other Toyota dealership, I didn't even get the car from them and they helped me. Also the other dealership walked me through all of the cars features, answered all of my questions/concerns and set up my Toyota Entune account which was never mentioned to me at Colonial Toyota of Milford. I was also informed that I had remote start already installed and I was told how to use it. I find this funny because I had reached out to the manger Erick F and he was trying to sell me the remote start for my car that ALREADY HAS IT, wow what a car salesman! Maybe this happened because I am a woman at a dealership "easy target". Also I informed Erick F that I already found out I had remote start and I send him a text with my concerns and disappointment about my experience and guess what no reply...big surprise. So my advice would be if you're interested in leasing or buying a Toyota it would be in your best interest to keep driving past Colonial Toyota of Milford and make your way to the next closest Toyota dealership that's reputable.

Eric was personable, informative, and client-driven. He had to jump through a lot of hoops for me, and not only did he did so without complaint, but he also demonstrated a terrific sense of humor in the process! He also gave me a great value on my car! I would recommend Eric and Colonial Toyota to anyone! Colonial Toyota in Milford goes above and beyond in its service too! When you buy your Toyota and need maintenance: Ask for Roger. He is the best! He makes sure everything is done to your satisfaction. He always makes me feel like my needs come first! I live in Southbury but never mind the trip to Milford because I know that I am always getting quality service.

From the moment we arrived at Colonial Toyota we were catered to and all of our questions were thoroughly answered. Our salesman, Ray Garcia, was friendly and very helpful. His manager, Frank Pratts, assisted in making our buying experience smooth and enjoyable. We were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Upon request we got to test drive 2 vehicles which they specifically matched to our personal needs.
