Always get great service and excellent food and tea/coffee

They need to learn how to make a decent cup of tea....pretty much looked like milky water...waste of money

Not sure if the managers read these but I d like to suggest they train there staff to read back orders to make sure that they actually get it right. My order came out wrong twice, and had to pay for add ons that I never actually received. By this time the rest of the table had nearly finished there meals and I was starving so had to make do.

This Coffee Club is not what it used to be. The portions are much smaller, the ingredients lower quality. What a pity! And we waited 35 minutes for fish and chips and an omelette.

Sounds dramatic but my morning has been burnt for going here. I was brought a coffee I never ordered and bacon on two vegetarian meals. Trustfully paid for it for it all and only refunded the coffee.

Their regular size iced latte was other cafe s large size. I enjoyed it! Nachos was ok I would prefer fresh smashed avocado to smooth avocado from tube...
There are a couple of table with comfortable sofa inside and we were able to avoid from the strong sunny thanks!

Filthy cutlery and cups. Server put arm in food when reaching to put cup down.

Got my coffee in a takeaway cup because they had no cups apparently...i would say they just didnt want to pay a dishwasher penalty rates even though i was hit with a public holiday surcharge.
Will not go there again.

Coffee is dishwater, food is pretty sad. Prices are astronomical

Last four times I ve been here they ve gotten my order wrong and or over charged me. Poor customer service too. Was much better under the previous management. Won t be going back.

Ordered a lunch meal for my wife and I mine was served but not hers, half way through my meal I asked how long her meal would be was told soon as I finished my meal hers arrive and we received a sultry sorry, shocking service will never go back and will tell our friends.

We visited on a Saturday morning to eat breakfast. The menu was great with many delicious options. The problem was that my husband's breakfast arrived after waiting over 30 minutes. Mine didn't arrive until more than ten minutes later, by which time he was almost finished his meal. The staff were polite and helpful. They just weren't able to provide the meals in a timely manner. More than 40 minutes wait for breakfast is too long.

45 minute wait for cold pancakes. Understaffed and stressed staff.

Quite a nice place, and a great view of south bank and the casino.
Traffic was a bit noisy, but that's what the city is all about!

Ordered coffee and a meal.. arrived to the wrong table and in a takeaway containers. Pointed out that I was noy ordering takeaway, staff was rude and proceeded to tell me that I made an order like that. Coffee isn't great by the way.. first and last time.

Great food and staff! The young guy on today with the short hair and pierced left ear was very kind and a pleasure to be served by.

If you are signing they might forget your cutlery and make you wait a long time for food. The ordering process was lovely, the wait staff maybe just not used to deaf people. still i had no cutlery or opportunity to order water. The man who took our order was really lovely and didn't even blink when taking our order, very helpful.

Props the best coffee around city but... The food, the other pricy stuff doesn't match quality/price ratio. Only recommend it for yummy drinks nothing else.....

Altho this should be top on the list for a very casual date.

I asked for a double shot Americano. Instead I got a white coffee. The Asian assistant didn't seem to know the difference. That's okay. We got there in the end.
The butterscotch caramel cake was tasty though.
I love my coffee, but we didn't get to enjoy it here. It wasn't that hot either.

Headup up by a very professional and friendly staff member HAQ - the morning breakfast was a thorough pleasure . Comfortable and pleasing atmosphere - all staff were very friendly . Whilst writing this - laughter erupted at the counter from another happy customer - keep up the good work guys !

This store needs to improve their customer service immediately. The staffs don't see to understand the jobs priorities and lack of enthusiasm comparing to the prime location the cafe located. As a non-regular customer, I would not recommend this restaurant. And if you want to eat or drink at a coffee club you rather go to the other one nearby instead.

Easy to get a game of chess here on Sundays with the friendly folks from Brisbane City Chess. Good coffee. Newspapers. Plenty of room. Helpful staff. No Tabasco Sauce.

When in Brisbane we often stop in for morning coffee or maybe a light lunch. Food and service is good. Location is by the river and convenient if you're going to take a rivercat.

Waited 30 minutes for food which was overcooked and disappointing.

The portion size was very small for a meal that was $19. The food was sitting out for a while and was very cold.

Love tasting eggs Benny everywhere I go. Found the worst one so far. The presentation was poor, no garnish at all. The price is one of the highest also $20

Didn't have soy or lactose free milk. Poached eggs were overcooked.

Female staff were fantastic. However the guy acted like we were interrupting his morning and was extremely unhelpful.
Ordered ourselves a simple breakfast and drink to start the morning... I found it overpriced and drowning in butter.
I won't be back any time soon!

This store has no manager... its a terrible experience. Staff are floundering and inexperienced. Where is the manager or owner of this shop? 11am Sunday morning.

Went today for lunch, ordered chicken parmigiana, when it arrived the chicken was RAW !!!! took it back and they brought back a new one which was like leather as they left it in the deep fryer till it was burnt and dry... unlikely to be returning there any time soon!!

I never write a complaint but this was the worst dining experience I have ever had! We waited 1 hour for 3 breakfasts and no one said how long the wait would be! When the meals finally came out, it looked like it had just been thrown on the plate, not appetising at all! The haloumi was foul (and I m obsessed with haloumi), the bacon was cold, and the meal had no taste! My friend waited another 10 minutes before her burger came out and her side of avocado was FROZEN! I asked if they could give us a new side of avo, however when they brought the new one out they had just microwaved it! WHO MICROWAVES AVO! The only thing that saved them is the wait staff were nice!

Waited about 45minutes for eggs on toast. No show of the eggs so we got money back and left.

Disappointing breakfast this morning. Swapped Ciabata bread for Gluten Free ... portion size not comparable. Essentially paid $11.90 for 2 poached eggs & a very small piece of GF bread! $3.50 for an additional piece ... I don't think so.

I visited this branch on a public holiday (surcharge of 15%) . I ordered the classic pancakes ($13.95) and one piece of bacon ($3.00), altogether with the 15% surcharge the total was $19.50. When my order arrived my pancakes were cold and hard. Due to the state of my meal I asked for a refund and the manager rudely argued with me. He kept trying to get me to settle for a remake, I had to tell him several times that I wanted was a refund. The manager then said that he can t do a refund without a reason... I then explained again that the pancakes were cold and hard. Eventually, I was refunded.

Ordinary at best, disappointing. This was the cleanest dirty glass there was.

Asked for a long black which was extremely hot and no crema at all. I couldn't drink due to it's high temperature. 4.5 bucks wasted

Ordered toast with poached eggs and bacon. Arrived with toast soggy with water and eggs well under cooked and no bacon. I like the Coffee Club, but keep well away from this one.

This would have to be the worst coffee club l have ever been to and the worst meal, never never eating here again or any other coffee club.

Had breakfast with a friend, both our meals were terrible to look and taste... coffee was just ok... never going back for breakfast for sure...

Unfortunately for our visit, my wife's meal came out a full 20 minutes before mine, when mine did arrive it was incorrect and some parts were cold. The unapologetic staff member seemed to think it was too difficult to rectify the issue as well. Anyway overall coffee club is slightly over priced, however you tolerate this when the food is on point and coffee is great - this was certainly not our experience.

Extremely poor service and meal product. Unable to deliver simple orders like jam on toast.

Very average, even for a coffee club. The food is generally of a very low standard but 2 stars because the servers seem to be trying and it's a nice location. But yeah, there are better places to get a feed and coffee in the city.

This is a pleasant venue with good coffee. No worries about returning when in town again.

Was not impressed at all!
Had to wait 10 minutes to see if they had Gluten Free bread.
Then it took over 30 minutes to receive my meal - toasted sandwich (more like burnt) - not even cut properly. The chips were cold and so was the coffee.
The place had dirty tables and they were not even busy.....
The staff did not look like they wanted to be there.
Will not go back there.

Not a huge fan of the Coffee Club chains and considering their name has "coffee" in it you would expect them to at least be able to make a decent cup of coffee - WRONG!

Brisbane Square Coffee Club's greatest asset is the location. Service not yet professional. Cakes very expensive. The affogato was the worse I ever came across .
Staff rather lethargic and uninterested.

Friday night dancing in the Brisbane Square thanks to The Coffee Club is a must! Terrific event, nice place, good for food and drinks as always.

Food is pretty average and overpriced. With such a prime location I recommend upgrading your kitchen and menu.

I ordered mango frappe, there was no mango in frappe then I ordered coffee frappe it was full of ice. The sauted mushrooms were really dry in the breakfast. The worst service by the waitresses Doris and Clementine. The manager Ricky does not want to listen.

Beautiful fresh tasty salad. Only $6 as a side and enough to satisfy small to medium appetite.

I paid $13 for a smal piece of toasted bread with smashed avocado!!! I was surprised with the size of my meal. Won't recommend it at all and won't be back there!

Found insects in my water and the service was horrible

Had a business meeting and picked up a Green Tea. The tea was good and hot and the wait staff were very attentive. I appreciated the fact that they came back after drinks had been served to check how everything was, and they did it in a non-intrusive way.

Pleasant atmosphere and a great location looking out over Brisbane Square and south towards the Brisbane river.

Friendly service, but a bit slow. Visited again and still very slow but great coffee

Nice location and the staff were lovely. I ordered smashed avo, when it came out it was so bad actually made me laugh. The toast had the most meagre scraping of brown avocado, a tiny sprinkling of feta dust and a very few seeds. I ended up scraping all the stuff of one slice onto the other, just so I wouldn't be eating mostly dry toast. I wasn't expecting much from a chain cafe, but if you can't even get avocado on toast right it's a bit of a joke.

Horrible hygiene when it comes to resetting tables and filthy glasses. Waited half an hour just to get a sweet potato load fries and normal loaded fries, got given one with out the toppings on and asked the staff to redo the order and got back chatted. When staff was cleaning tables they just wiped the scratches onto the floor. Horrible service, definitely not my normal coffee club experience. The meals didn't look anything like the photo displayed and poorly presented

Clean and comfortable, good location at the top of the Queen Street Mall. Polite wait staff and good service. Coffee good quality. Somewhat expensive but typical for Coffee Club generally.

Tried a small bite and a glass of wine today. Had to leave both almost untouched, i admit the horrible wine was probably my bad call. Nevertheless wont be thinking of coming back anytime soon.
Good and convenient setting though. Its a shame the food isn't upto scratch else it would have attracted the neighbouring crowd.

Typical Australian breakfast. For those visiting Brisbane, you can't miss it.

The most bland eggs bene ive ever bloody recieved, not to mention the most bland personality of the staff too.
Come on, at least put 70% effort into making your ovERpriced as heck food.

Excellent service and kids enjoyed their ice cream n milkshake.
