We loved the water park and the convenience of the shops across the street.

Absolutely terrible. Language was a huge barrier. None of the cleaning staff spoke English. Asked for our room to be cleaned 3 times , finally had to go to the front desk for help. Wi Fi not working .Could not log on to internet. I Asked for a total price , taxes, resort fees etc, when I called in reservation, I was quoted a price a of $303.00 over the phone for 2 nights. When I checked in they told me it would be $369.00. I asked for a break down of charges, I was told I could not get one until I checked out. When I checked out it was then and only then I was told the person who made the reservations for me forgot to add in the resort fee and $10.00 parking fee, per day.I told them when I made reservation I was handicapped and needed an elevator or 1st floor because I had a mobility scooter. I show up and I am on the second floor, no elevator . They did change my room but did not update the computer. When I went to tell the front desk to please have my room cleaned, I gave them the number and the staff said they did not have a room with that number. I found out family was trying to call me and the front desk was sending the calls to the 2nd floor room. I never got the calls. All the manager could say upon check out was sorry. Lousy service, I must of heard sorry a hundred times but sorties don.t make up for lack of knowledge or lies.

I will be back for sure. My daughter loved the water park she spend the hole day going back and foward from one pool the the other. The arcade room is also good and it is not expensive.

Worse experience ever! Hidden fees, bugs in the room and beds, pools only open on certain days, false advertising of complimentary breakfast, non smoking rooms smells like cigarettes, and we set out the do not disturb sign and the maid went into our room anyways! Save yourself some heartache and do not ever go here!

This place was disgusting and infested with roaches. We took 45 minutes to be checked in and once we checked in we found roaches in our FIRST room, when saw the desk about the issue at 3:30 am and were moved to another room, combed new room for roaches and found at least 6-8 roaches living in the bed frame of our SECOND room along with multiple others dead behind dresser. Horrible experience and will never recommend. Plus the staff was rude.

The room with a bad smell and the carpet you see does not wash it in a good time. The answer to the needs of the bad or null room. The water games very good. The service in the restaurant excellent.

My kids had fun in the water park, the bar smelled like throw up every time I passed it to take the kids to the water park. The staff was nice but beware of roaches in the room. They shouldn t call it Coco keys resort, it should be called Coco keys motel.

this hotel is harble it had bedbugs and we were ichin like crazy when we frist came in i do not recmend to go there ewwwww

Our family 1st time experience was an absolute joy! And an experience to remember...Not only was the atmosphere catered to every age but the STAFFFFFF was AMAZING! One in particular "Melina C." was a step above the rest! Melina along with others were caring, compassionate and attentive! During our water park experience, all the water staff was certified Lifeguards that were on duty to attend to and pay close attention to your dear children. They kept a close and careful eye on any potential dangers in the water. The staff was absolutely amazing! We were able to sit back and enjoy ourselves and allow our children to have safe fun. During our stay our 7yr old ran up to us with a small abrasion on her ankle and "Melina" immediately, ran for the 1st AID KIT and attended to our child with love, comfort and care! She dressed our daughters booboo and encouraged her and told her it will be just fine! "Melina" got on her knees and cared for your child as if it were her own. Shortly after, the most selfless event took place that we witnessed in-front of our face. While "Melina continued to work and patrol the swimming area, while on duty "Melina" realized a young boy in a distressful situation in the water and she INSTANTLY jumped into action!. "Melina" dove blew her whistle and dove into the water head 1st and rescued the young boy from the situation. "Melina" didnt think twice or panic, she professionally rescued the boy and brought him safely to an area of safety. It was an amazing sacrifice that we ALL witnessed right before our eyes! It was nice and comforting to know that our loved ones are being overseen by extra caring eyes while at COCO-KEY! We would like to thank "Melina C." and the rest of the staff at COCO-KEY for making our 1st time visit 1 to remember.

I went to check in at 2:30PM check in is at 3PM and had to wait till 5:20PM for a room!! They charged a 36.00 resort fee when half of the water park was shut down for "renovations", they have been shut down for quite a while with no construction in sight. Random people can use the water park for 9 bucks so it was packed! Everything was dirty. They had Army breakfast, if you are in the military you know its funny fake scrambled eggs raw bacon, no decaf! The water in the water park was dirty with a gray haze.. the room was outdated smelled stale things were broken inside of it. You can smell the cigarette smoke from inside. Police patrolled it at night!!!! People were loud and ghetto!!!! Went to the water park one time and rushed out in the morning only came back to sleep. There was absolutely NOTHING resort about it. I considered spending another 1600 dollars to leave the place!!!! It was soooo bad!!!

The worst hotel I have seen in my 24 years of life. It is useless. Supposedly it is 50% of the clients because of the covid19 and it is full. A door falling down. I do not recommend it to anyone but nobody

For now Everything is going well, good customer service, good place and this super fun for the children. They had a super good time, many attractions for adults and children, water park

It's a good place for my family. Hope to go again. Although we have been visiting for years we can see the establishment has gone down hill in all over quality!!!

A little outdated, the girl who sells the tickets to the Universal Studio Park doesn't speak languages that's a problem. The pool towels are ridiculously small. It is very well located near the universal park.

The first night I was told my to wasn't ready and I was placed in a single king bed room that was very dirty and disgusting. None of the staff voluntarily told me about the things to do on ground or the shuttle to universal so I had to use Uber and find things to do on my own. I finally got my room ready the next day and the sheets were stained and the iron was broken. The wifi was very weakand wasn't able to use it for anything. I will not be staying here again and I will not be telling anyone that I stayed here.

Check in was not so great they got my room wrong twice. Rooms need more outlets for charging phones and tablets. Water park is nice for the kids.

i was staying this resort for three days. The service was really bad and dirty. also the free complimentary breakfast was really dry and very cheap food. employees were not helpful at all except one person. the heating system was not really working. very cheap refrigerator. overall my experience was really bad.

Staff unhelpful and knowledgeable. Roaches in my room in my drawers on my clothes, in the bathroom. Disgusting! And the front was not willing to even move me rooms. One shinning star was the water park, but i wont be back.

It was not what I expected. Don t be fooled by pictures. This place is a motel with an expensive resort fee! I couldn t stay another night so I canceled my last night. This place is very old and I was disappointed with myself for making my family stay here. Front desk girl was very friendly though so thanks for that.

Absolutely old and filthy!!!!!!!!! Nasty stains on ottoman and coach cushions. You know what it is!!!

The hotel should get at least a 3.5 star. This hotel is reminiscent of the mid-century Americana style hotels. The staff was very courteous, especially the kitchen/breakfast staff. Ms. Linda was kind, helpful and very personal. Our group was comprised of at least 50 kids plus at least 10 parents. The walls were not thin like the newer hotels so sound is dampened. The are things that could be updated such as the air extractor in the bathroom. Or repaired, such as wood rot of interior door frame in the bathroom. About the smell of mildew, it is strong and that is definitely due to the facts that, well, is Florida and a water park. I travel with my own air purifier and after running it for 24 hrs the smell was greatly reduced. The hotel could use portable dehumidifiers that could be placed in rooms to reduce such smell. I checked areas were there would usually be dust, such as the top edges of picture frsmes, mirrors, headboards, table tops and blinds, and all had been dusted. The grilles of the air conditioning unit were very dirty and could use a good scrubbing. The unit worked well. The iron in the room did not work. The safe operated well. Water temperature got hot quickly and didn't lose pressure. For some reason the soap, body wash and shampoo didn't smell pleasing but that could be me. There's no hair dryer but I was able to find one in the janitor's closet. The breakfast was the best! Quite good with great variety of fruits, breads, coffee, teas, juices. Eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Just really good. I'll post the breakfast pics on website if possible. My stay was for 2 days and I didn't use the water park area. The sidewalks were clean. Didn't see cigarette butts. There were designated smoking areas away from major entrances. Overall, a decent place to stay for the price.

Wifi does not work at this facility, although it is promised on the amenities in which they charge $100 extra upon arrival of the hotel. Also, don't count on the shuttle to Universal Studios. The hotel will shut down the shuttle service early without notification, leaving some guests stranded. Also, we had asked for tech service to fix the wifi, and the front desk personnel was clueless on what to do; they offered a man to come to the room after 11pm to "check out" our devices. This hotel is undependable and sketchy. The hotel room does not look anything like the pictures on the website and the air conditioning unit shakes when it is ON. It is scary because the unit sounds like the AC unit will explode. Luckily, the unit did not explode on us.

Sightseeing , shopping , and attractions in the area are amazing but this "resort" was not. The staff was very pleasurable but the resort itself left my family of 6 very uncomfortable. The management changes was noticed with having to pay for amenities that should have come with the stay. Coming from the CoCo Keys of New Jersey to the one in Orlando we was very disappointed.

I love this resort very nice staff clean rooms what issue I had they went above and beyond to fix it but special thanks to the housekeeping team while done on they part best place to stay I enjoyed every moment!!!!

Has many good points and a few bad ones. Lets start with the good. Hotel Coco key is excellently situated, everything you need is on the doorstep such as bars, restaurants, fast food, supermarkets, gift shops and is very close to Universal. There is a Great little water park on site with a selection of slides including a childrens area. Hotel rooms are a good size and there is a maid service every day giving you clean bedding and towels.
Bad points: There is no evening entertainment. The pool bar is the only bar open during the evening however it shuts at 10pm, after this there is nowhere else on site if you desire a late drink. The drink refill machines are not accesible after 9pm. The life guards need to at least pretend to enjoy their job and have some fun and interact. Each lifeguard paces up and down around 15ft of pool side scanning the water for what i can only descibe as "looking for coins" on the floor bed of the pool. If your sitting or standing at pool side they wont walk around you, they make you move incase they miss out on finding that coin at the bottom of the pool if they walk around the back of you lol. Anyone who stayed here will know what i mean. Its rediculous. Instead of pacing up and down 15 foot of pool side just stand in the middle and turn your heads left and right. Bottles of bud light are $5 at the bar which is very expensive so i recommend going to wallmart and buying a box of 20 for $17.

Stayed june 19 .... Its ok ..you have to pay to park ya car.. Rooms can be dirty around the edges...

This was supposed to be a memorable birthday celebration but was horrible. The room was filled with roaches...no room service was provided over the course of three days. I would not recommend this spot to anyone and I will definitely not be returning.

the room smelled horrible, the towels were dirty and also smelled and there were bed bugs and I got bit in my sleep. On top of that there were tiny roaches in the room I don t recommend this hotel to anyone and I don t ever plan I m staying here again. It was an unpleasant experience.

Me and my family had a great time here. It's in a great location and everyone was nice. The only thing we didn't like was the line you need to wait in in order to talk to someone at the front desk. Other then that we had a lot of fun

We just booked our trip to here for a couple days in a couple weeks, and will update our review then. We have seen both positive and negative ones. We will provide honest and accurate findings then. Looks nice!

Actually when I booked this hotel I did not say that I had to leave a deposit, or that I had to pay for the parking and that it was paid at the hotel because my money was taken out. Before the front desk staff has a very bad attitude .

Looks like it used to be a very nice place... the bathroom had mold in it, the floors were not clean and the bedding had a damp feeling. The food was not very good either.

I stayed at this hotel last week and it was the worst experience of my life. This hotel needs to be gutted completely if no torn down.

This place sucks. Atm didn't work, pool was always dirty, water park staff where rude. Spa only worked two days of the 5 days I was there. Fridge didn't work they took it out and we waited 3 days for another one that also didn't work. Air conditioner was loud. You had to really pull it hard to close door. Toliet ran on and on. couldn't park anywhere near your room.took forever to get room clean if they even show up at all.cobb webs on ceiling, dusty blinds, dirt floor. Also short on towels or wash cloths never knew what would be missing. Never given cups for coffee or water. I could go on and on. Just don't stay here it's not worth it

Orlando location. Fun to have a hotel and water park in one.

Overall it s a fun place for kids. Room cleaning takes forever. Tv channels were limited. WiFi was horrible that s giving it too much credit WiFi was non existent. Every time I had to make a call or whatever so had to go outside the room. It was pretty horrible.

Took the 50 dollar deposit outta my account went 2 weeks and never seen it back in my account after they said it would be there in 3-5 days so I call and now they are saying they didn t take no money outta my account worst hotel service and rip off place I ve ever stayed won t be staying there nor would I recommend them to anyone

Not my favorite stay in Orlando. I got this booking as part of a Priceline Express Deal. It was in the middle of December so I couldn't use the water park (not sure I would have regardless) but the rooms were a bit off for me. I don't enjoy exterior rooms in hotels - people outside in the parking lot were loud all through the night. The bedsheets were super thin and there wasn't really any sort of comforter on the beds, which were quite uncomfortable. Add a leaky shower faucet that ran 24/7 and you get a stay that could have been beat by nearly any hotel in Orlando.

I had a great time a CoCo key I went with a couple of friends and met some new ones along the way but overall I had a great time I would totally recommend this place to anyone!

Water Park is AMAZING only!!!!! I highly recommend not staying in the hotel. Just get a day pass for the park. We have stayed here twice and planned on making it a yearly thing but won t stay here again. It s a long story but short story the room was nasty. The floors were horrible. After we showered we stepped out of the bathroom and we had stuff all over our feet we looked down and our feet were black we went and washed them off and same thing happened we had to wear shoes the entire stay. There was gum stuck to the floor, dirt all over the couches. They changed our rooms 3 times and they were all dirty. 3 other tourist there said there room was bad too. I talked to the manager the next day and she was rude and kept cutting me off while I was trying to talk. She asked what I wanted her to do! I was thinking really, you can t apologize or at least compensate us.

I booked a room 2 months ago and the cancel it and nobody can tell you nothing now the rooms are up to 1000 for 3 nights just crazy I would never try to book with yall again such a waste of time

Very fun! The price was good and we were located right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I am giving two stars because my kids really did enjoy the water park. They had a really good time. Check in was smooth. However, I would not recommend this hotel. We saw at least 7 different bugs in our room. Also, the room had an overwhelming cleaning chemical smell when we came in that was replaced by a bad smell eventually. The walls were very thin and every conversation could be heard in the rooms surrounding ours. We hurried out in the morning because of all of the bugs.

Great place to go!! Just don't buy the dip and dots out the machine!!

Stayed in coco keys twice now and both times were good. Staff were lovely, pools are amazing, food is good. Would go back again and again.

We had the best experience here. The employees were friendly and the hotel was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect and we appreciated the free shuttle to Universal Studios. We will definitely be back!!

If you have young kids this is a great place to visit that includes a clean pool room to fight the Florida heat and a lot of water park and swimming pool to turn your kids loose on. The water park is medium size with lots of slides oh, great kids area plus space in the shade and sun and a friendly bar staff when it's time for some Mommy juice.

The place doesn't look like the picture I actually drove past it twice.

The ajoining rooms were nice however one room didnt have a table or chair there wasnt a garbage can at all and no cups in in the room either the other room had everything w 2 garbage cans one in the bath room staff was friendly but my cousin at closing forgot her sandles we came back down they were closed up no ine to help get them the first thing next morning no one found them and they had no real lost n found ugh but the kids had fun on the slides and the pools

I have to say it was kind of a rip off. I paid $236 for a single room, no view, king sized bed, and sofa. Older, but clean. A place to sleep. The bed sank on one side though, I'm pretty sure it was broken. Very uncomfortable, moved to the couch.$10 to park, and you're lucky if u park anywhere even remotely close to ur room.

12$ cocktails, no specials or Happy hour etc. $15 for a sad breakfast buffet. $3 for a single cup of coffee. You can have free itty bitty cups of water though.

Plus, the food and beverage options leave much to be desired, not very impressive, but yet quite expensive.

The water park was pretty lame. It's literally just a few slides and a splash park/pool, good for kids I guess. The hot tub jets didnt work, so it was like a big tub. Easily saw 20+ kids cramming inside. The pool became gross at night with balls of hair, dead bugs, and film floating on top. Dirty towels left everywhere made it impossible to see where you could sit or lay down.

I wouldn't come back. It was wack. Been to waaaaay nicer hotels for the same price.

Horrendous would be putting it lightly . The blinds in the room have a crack so big anybody walking by can look in . The room smelled like a pickle jar . Floor was dirty I left 60 sec after walking in to room . I highly recommend the crown plaza down the street with a 4.2 star raiting for less money . Coco key wast just plain nasty .

It is absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed at. Very poorly maintained hotel.

My kids stayed here and loved it. They still talk about how nice it was and the fun at the water park on the property.

This was life ... The staff makes you feel at home always willing to go above and beyond to make sure all your needs and wants are done. But most of all I would personally like to acknowledge Izlaine ..she took the time to help to make sure my room was booked and my stay was worm and welcoming... Thanks a lot and see you next year

A beautiful place for the kids 16 years of age and younger adults can have some fun there too thanks for the bar also adults may need that LOL can be quite pricey at times but nothing cost more than good memories

When we first got there, they charged me an extra $93 for "hotel fees and parking". They will also charge you to replace a missing paper wristband regardless of how long you're there.

The room was pretty clean for as dated as it was. The bathroom and hallway had a bad smell. Calling the front desk was very frustrating and they were always rude. The housekeeper in the hallway got so upset when I asked for a towel to shower and she kept asking WHY before she gave me one. (Our rooms didn't get serviced until late afternoon.) All other employees were pleasant.
The inside kiddie pool smelled very very nasty the first two days we were there like they didn't keep up with the chlorine. Your skin smelled like throw up as soon as water got on you.
My son had a blast in the arcade and on the slides.
Overall, the money I spent on the room was not worth the stay.

I reserved/ paid for a KING SIZE room i have a double. Dirty linen left on pull out. Food in front of door. Chlorine in pool really strong =dirty water gnats galore

Not the most up to date hotel. Our toilet had trouble fishing, bathroom door knob was broken and half attached to the door. They charge you a 50$ hold on your card for parking, after you pay 180 a night as you expect, there will be another 90$ between parking hold, buffet and water park "fees".
The best part of the stay was all you need right on site. Restaurant, water park, breakfast buffet.

Hello plz plz stop if you are going to purchase a room from this so called resort don t. first of all it is not a resort nor is it a hotel. It is your basic standard Motel all they did was attach a few pools and waterslides and gave it the name of a resort. The rooms you get in person are nothing like what you see on line. I stayed here 4 days 3 nights my refrigerator my TV as well as my room phone were all broken when I complained to the manager they gave me such a hard time on top of that they didn t fix the problem until my last night there they didn t compensate me at all & they were so rude this place is a huge rip off plz tell friends and family never to book here you will be disappointed

This is more of a motel then a hotel. Tried to charge extra then the rate I actually booked. Thankfully I was able to pull up my reservation to show the rate I should get. But the fact they also charge you for a resort fee is crazy, you are already paying for the room that s suppose to include your park passes. The room needed some deep cleaning. Since you get to your room from the parking lot you can hear everything going on outside. Which they partied all night long. Then rooms are separated by very slim door where we could hear our neighbors vomiting in the morning for a very long time. Bathrooms were gross and everything in the room was just very cheap. The water park would have been ok if all the slides worked, but 4 slides were down which made it a lot shorter of a time outside then we would have liked. They just inform you if the slides are going to be closed in your confirmation. Was very disappointed will stick with anywhere else but here.

Room was nice!! Held a three day family reunion there and the staff was very nice and helpful.
