CoCo Key Water Resort Reviews

Unfortunately, this "resort" was anything but...
The facility was dirty - garbage and chicken bones were left in the hallways and parking lot. It was left that way even after housekeeping had made their daily rounds for two days. Housekeeping left alot to be desired. We had to ask for additional towels each day. Rooms were not serviced until late in the day. We ran out of toilet paper (which is ridiculous) and when we tried to contact Guest Services, we could not get anyone to answer. We had to leave our room and go the lobby to get any assistance. TV didn't work, stopper was missing from tub, lid to the ice bucket was missing and the room had a very unpleasant odor.
The pool area was not well kept - very dirty. Children were unsupervised using the handicap devises as pool rides. Some were shampooing their hair in the poolside shower. We witnessed a staff member test the pool water and then shock the water with chemicals. He did this while the guests were in the pool.
We dined one evening in the on-site restaurant. We were told if we ordered from the menu, it would take at least 45 minutes to get our food. (There was only one other table besides us.) The buffet was minimal and not appetizing.
I think if you pay to stay at this facility, you should have assigned parking. At least be able to park relatively close to your room. Our family went to a local theme park and upon returning had to park in the very back of the property. Our room was in the very first building. Parking is an issue because the water park can be used by anyone-not just the overnight guests.
This site says there is free Wi-Fi - it does not tell you it is free for only the first 24 hours. If you stay longer, you have to pay.
My suggestion would be to stay at another facility and buy the water park pass ONLY.The water park was the best part of our stay. My 2 year old grandson enjoyed the water park as did my husband and grown children.
Very disappointing - would not recommend and will not return.

Water park is pretty cool. Room was pretty bad though. I booked a 1 night stay and the room they placed me in was very poorly cleaned around the bed and couch area. Pull out bed inside couch had stains on it. Then worst of all was the shotty repair job on this hole in the bathroom wall. I tried to get a microwave from the front desk and they wanted me to pay an additional charge for one, which was a bit strange to me. All in all I guess I got what I paid for(booked the room online for less than half what they were asking over the phone). Might come back for the water park probably wouldn't stay in hotel again though.

One of my favourite holidays yet! Hotel rooms were standard (which is what I expected) and clean. Loved the buffet breakfast and huge American waffles along with the brilliant waterside appliances which made it go from a 3 to a 4! So only really good if you have children, but that is the point I guess.

The lobby is very nice, clean and smells great. The food and drinks are over priced. Water costs $3.00. The rooms are smelly and very dirty. The floors are super dirty and lots of dead bugs around. I wont recommend for anybody to stay in those rooms. The water park was great...kids had so much fun.

Pretty good, especially to go with the children have fun without having to leave the hotel.

As we entered they close it down because there were lightning storms in the area. However, my friends were there 30 minutes before us, paid to get in and there was no refund given or a chance to come back another day. I think its a bit inconsiderate. The time frame they were in was to short. They should reconsider there policy. Not really interested in going back. I know you cant control acts of good but better CONSIDERATION should be taken.

The kids over 44 in. or over 8 can navigate the pool and water slides by themselves.

The stays are getting worse everytime. Nothing works and the rooms need renovation. Bedding was not clean, tub didn't drain and coffee maker and iron worked only on crutches.

I have stayed at the Coca Key Resorts 3 times My Family and friends, enjoyed. The Staff was very nice and gave us extra towels or cleaning of our rooms when needed by us. I rate this Resort on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 is the best....I will visit every year We LOVE the water park, game room and computers in the lobby and outdoor pool...

We are a family of 4 we stayed in may 2019 the first room we got had mold on the tracks of the window stunk really bad. Room 6223 then got 7114 still smelled terrible. You get what you pay for. In this case we did, its cheap but still mold on the windows thats just nasty. We spent 3 nights in room 6223 i will post video on youtube. 63rider

Absolutely Awesome hotel !! The GM Frank is a great person !! He made us feel very welcome after driving 2.5 hours and the water park was closed due to lightning he bought us drinks and after about 20 mins they opened back up and we were able to get in the kids heated pool with slides and the deeper pool under the covering !! Rooms were excellent !! Bed were a little harder than we're use to but we have a very soft bed of our own so that's not their fault !! Rooms were very clean and staff was very accommodating !! Drinks at the tiki bar are a little expensive but the bartender was making them strong so can't complain there !! Very close to alot of resturaunts !! Applebee's and chili's right across the street !! We are at the Brazilian steak house down I-Drive and it was a great choice also , it's a must try if staying in the area !! We will definitely be back again !! Thank you Frank for making our stay Soo welcoming !! We will be future customers for a long time to come !!

We did not stay at the hotel so I can't rate that but the water park was a blast! Quite clean, everything was working, and the lifeguards and attendees did a great job!

They need more rafts though and carrying them up to the top is rough.

I just checked out. I wanted to save my review for last to cover all the good things. I was nervous to come because of mixed reviews but I had an excellent week and Coco Key Water Park in Orlando. The place was up to my expectations. Clean rooms, clean towels, pool area was clean. There were a lot of high schoolers visiting that were loud in the pool, but that was not in the hotels control . I do not regret coming for the affordable price.

I enjoyed here , it is very cool , at the same time , I found ice cream rolls nearby , the name is Mr .cool Ice Cream ! It is amazing !

Paid extra to stay here instead of a cheaper hotel so my kids could use the water park, it was closed our whole stay. Even when I mentioned it to the front they said it was open but I have a picture of the sign saying that it was closed. Gave is the wrong room with smaller beds. The room was dirty. We switched hotels but still had to pay for all of our nights because they refused to work something out with who we booked it through.

The main reason to stay at this hotel is the water park.The rooms are decent but they are worth putting up with the older rooms for the water park and arcade. Both are great! Arcade is usually open til 1am and Water park 11-7.

The water park was excellent, the whole family had so much fun.

My daughter picked this place. Although my grandchildren enjoyed the water park and the vicinity to other shopping and dining, it's not a place I would return to. Many other locations near it offer the same distance and more amenities. They are also much cleaner than this place was. You pay 100ish a night plus almost 40 for resort fees! The Omni, Waldorf and Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort fees are a little lower and they offer luxury. Pools, lazy rivers, fine dining and golfing, plus they are closer to Disney! These rooms were worth all of 50 a night and park maybe 5 a day!

The place is absolutely not safe! After check in, there were 5 police cars dispatched to handle a big issue that transpired in the parking lot not 100 feet from where my family and I parked and not even a building away from where we stayed! As I left to go get food, I asked a policeman should we check out of this hotel and he said YES! The fridge didn't work, towels were stained, linen were stained, tub was leaky, I mean, it was just not work the price we paid! My stubborn daughter wanted to stay with her husband and kids, so we had to stay as well! Never again will I stay at this hotel! Not that I have any issues with the staff, it's just not on me and my spouse's level! Others will like it due to the competitions costs, but it's not for us! And I think they are price gouging with the resort rates!

Pretty nice place water parks are cool . Game rooms, check which games give you points for toys before you play. A lot of games not in service. A few games took some points from our cards but didn't work. Breakfast very good but not much meat option for non pork eaters. Room service great

The pools and water park are nice. Rooms are clean and tidy. The wifi does not work because it won't set up. Which is a reaaaal bummer. Overall it's a alright place.

Was very disappointed that the water park was only open Thursday to Sunday. I wasn't told this upon booking. This made my choice of hotel totally pointless as i looked forward to some play time with my daughter before business. Never got to use the water park but paid the water park fee. Great heated pool and water park. Convenient location... Clean rooms

I can't say enough great things about this waterpark. I have a 5 year old and while I kept my eyes on him...there were a lot of life guards and they really paid attention to the kids and everyone else. The room is what you expect with a 2 or 3 star hotel. The only negative I had was the floor was pretty dirty...walking around in bare feet after a shower...our feet got dirty just walking around the room . Rooms are dated but slept just fine. I recommend and would definitely stay here again.

It was okay. It was strange that its part of a low rate looking motel.

The location is great. The water park is decent but was not kept very clean while we stayed, the life guards on duty were overloaded by the amount of guests in the pool at the same time. Most of the life guards did there job very well and interacted with kids well when it was slower.

Upon first entry to our room we were greeted with a blast of mildew smell mixed with humidity In the room. The rooms were fairly clean and didn't see any insects inside the rooms I did find a roach outside on the last night of stay but the resort for the most part is kept clean and the water park is enjoyable.

I will probably not stay here in the future though do to the smell in the room and the fact i dont like watching other people's children for them because they are left unattended in a pool unable to swim.

Good but the pool has too much Chlorine and the water park is barely open But other than that its a good resort

Rooms were absolutely disgusting.
Beds&pillows were hard as a rock.
No comforters on the beds, only a sheet and a thin hospital blanket.
No microwaves in the rooms.
Remote for the t.v. didnt work
Alarm/clock didn't work.
Alarm went off at random times of the night on it's own.
ROACHES YES ROACHES! (EWWW)

The main pool smelled and had debris in it. While we were swimimg we kept getting OTHER PEOPLE'S hair sticking to our skin. (SO GROSS)

Moving on to the breakfast buffet.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!
The food was cold, not a large selection for the price you pay and there was HAIR (yes HAIR) in the grits. The girls didn't wear hair nets nor gloves while handling the food.
Went to the arcade while we waited for the waterpark to open.
Most the games didn't work but, still took your money. Told a few workers about the concerns, one told us he would be right back waited and he never returned. Another just told us we had to wait until after 10 am to address the issues.

The water park was nice the 2nd day however, the day of checking in...One half tlof the park was shut down so it was over crowded in the kiddie pool which smelled horrible leaving your skin smelling just as bad.

THE ONLY POSITIVE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT MY VISIT WAS THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT.

Classic American hotel in the Pulp Fiction style, but then you're "shovel"

Horrible. My friends and I all got sick from it.
Food, was disgusting and overpriced, plus it took too long to wait.
Unsanitary and slimy ground, dirty puddles and you'll get a foot infection from it.
The slides were for kids and most of the teens and adults who wanted to try out, said it was disappointing.
There are only 3 slides and all of them are boring. Even the kids were not very happy.
Honestly, it was a waste of time.

I loved it so much. The waterslides are very fun for little kids and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. The rooms were so clean when we went there and the service was so happy to help us. Would recommend

Will pay $110 for resort fee and they dont even clean your room unless you ask. They dont know how to answer front desk phone. Ask for towels and still have not got them after an hour of waiting. Find a different hotel

I stood in there building with my kids the water park there was nice for my kids my dislike was the room smell like mold they had roaches i tried to get my money back Brianna the supervisor lied about giving me back all my money. I showed them the roach and they act like they didn t know they where infested which was a lie. The AC wasn t working well either after I told them.. I wouldn t go back or unless they renovate it cause my kids did love the water slides.

Never booking here again. We booked for my sons birthday for the last weekend of August. And when we got there at 11:30pm to check in and it went smoothly But when we got to our rooms none of our keys worked. So we had to go back to the front desk and wait another 15 minutes just to get keys remade. Once we got into our rooms I noticed our kids room was fine. But our room didn t have a TV. So I called the front desk to inform them that this room didn t have a TV and that I don t want to be charged for this. The front desk said we can have a TV brought over and that the rooms were renovated And they must have forgotten to put in a TV . For someone who works at a resort on fort Myers beach. I find it hard to believe that someone who is supposed to be inspecting the rooms before being released to be rented forgot to check for a TV. Well security brought over a TV. I felt for the guy as for it s not his fault. But the TV didn t work. So we asked to be moved since it was given to us as an option. It s not well past 12:30 at night. The two new rooms we got smelled like mold. But at that point I m to tired to care. The next day we leave for universal and come back in the afternoon to hang out at the water park area. My son was in the room while me and my husband were at the dining area OUTSIDE eating our microwaved food when he came downstairs and said he wanted to go swimming. The lady manning the rope put the rope across the entrance (we were sitting at the table right next to the entrance mind you) and says he can t come in with a wristband. My husband stops eating and says he will got get it from the car since we forgot it. I asked if my son can sit here at the table with me while waiting and she said NO. Which I found to be ridiculous. We are outside. Next to the gate where she can completely see him. Clearly not going into the pool and wouldn t let my 10 year old sit with me while waiting. Once the wrist band was put on she THEN says that my son can t come into the outdoor dining area because he doesn t have a mask. Something she should have said since WE WERENT WEARING A MASK when my husband went to go get his wristband from the car. Now this lady is just bullying us for no reason. And we are outside. Inside I completely understand since I work at a resort we require masks inside. But when the entire arcade had NOONE WEARING A MASK why not enforce them to wear it inside ? At this point I was very angry. But did what was told. Grabbed a mask. That my son wore for all of 30 seconds before he dropped it off at my table and went into the pool. Closed the water park early, they said the closed at 9 but was kicking people out at 8:45. And due to Covid me and my family have NOT traveled anywhere. We decided to do so again for the kiddos birthday. A week after coming back home from this resort. We end up with bedbugs. 300 dollars out the window for that treatment. I called the hotel and asked to speak to a GM. They refused and transferred me over to someone named moe. Director of god knows what. But after I explained my experience I asked for a full refund. I called earlier In the week and because I went through a 3rd party they would only give me my resort fee. I also explained how I haven t traveled anywhere and that I had to get my house treated for bed bugs. He called me a LAIR and was very rude. Saying how truly nolen is a lair as well and that I would not be being a refund. Completely unacceptable. I guess that s what happens when someone has a god complex . Super disappointed and NEVER booking at this place ever again. I mean if your staff can t even check a room correctly and Doesn t notice that a freaking tv is missing. What makes me believe you even inspect your rooms at all? Horrible place. Horrible staff. Poor management. The only person who I genuinely enjoyed was the security guard that tried to help us.

I got to the hotel on a Friday night went to dinner came back walked around the pool. The pool wasn t clean it had trash in it. Got back to our rooms to go to bed and shower. We saw blood stains on the towels and both of our beds. They brought us new towels and the new towels still had stains and hairs on the them. The rooms were dirty like the mini fridge , everything in the room was dusty , bathroom was dirty also. It was really gross for our family to stay the night there. We went to tell them that we couldn t stay here for these reasons. The manager said he understands and he will refund us our money back. It s been almost two months and we haven t gotten our money back. And now there telling us that they won t refund our money for three nights. This is the worst experience that we had to deal with. I will never come back to this motel Again! It was a nightmare!

Our experience at the hotel (room, pool, shower ) just fine VERY typical. **you can pay for a basic breakfast yea 10.00 toast and fruit cups UGH!

****BIGGEST PROBLEM **** there's a 50.00 damage deposit that seems to be a lost treasure thats protected by an army of UNDEAD MANAGEMENT THAT CAN'T CALL YOU BACK! !!! I really think they have a fear of people or they don't really exist.

I would really have better luck finding and raising a unicorn than to get a return call ,an email , voice mail, text message or even a pigeon carrier response from ANYBODY AT THIS HOLE OF A PLACE JUST A BAG OF WORTHLESS!

I rated this location a 2 because my kids 2 and 5 , enjoyed the waterpark and the arcade was great family fun , BUT the room and hallways smelled moldy . Bathroom was very small, poor customer service, and there was a lot of added expenses. We didnt get to eat breakfast after being told misleading information from not only one associate but 2 about our stay stating that if i would book with them everything was included in which was a LIE . I will not ever return to this location or motel named CoCo Key EVER AGAIN . Very dissapointed

Really enjoyed our stay. Great to have a water park that you have access to right there. Kids had a great time for there birthdays. Would recommend. Nice room and very helpful staff.

My stay was very poor the service and the stuff are horrible I m so disappointed they charge me two time There is no a/c working change us to others room next to the machines room stuff unprofessional at all.

We just recently visited and I am going to honest with you. The check-in line was too long & didnt have enough staff at front desk. But once I did get up there the customer service Agent was very professional. Very nice and quick process. Once in our room we noticed a few things. One they had no microwave but they had a mini refrigerator. They had regular T.V. channels. It would of been nice to catch a good movie on T.V. once the kids went to bed. The bathroom had small baby rouches but bathroom was over all cleaned. The water park was amazing. My husband & I have an 8 & 2 year old so they didnt want to leave. It was clean & friendly staff. We went in March & it was packed. The pool was filled with kids & there family. The pizza & fries where sooo good & hot. I saw staff constantly picking & cleaning up trash. But overall We enjoyed ourselves. Next time I know what to do and how to do it so I can be better prepared next time. I just hope they take the time to read the reviews and make the changes that we all are saying.

Found cockroaches in our hotel room, horrible service, and towels and sheets were not washed and replaced regularly.

Slides were fun. Room was older looking/feeling. There was a fresh coat of paint, but it still has a run down feel. The area near the three large slides smelled like a dirty diaper

DO NOT STAY HERE! And owner....please save yourself the time of responding to me with your generic sorry note!!! If I could rate you -0, I would. My family and I usually stay at Ginn Reunion Resort, however we came here for a family reunion. Never again! There were German roaches throughout room. The ceiling was tearing and rotted. There were stains throughout linen sheets to the point where we were forced to sleep on top of covers. The dust on the furniture was so thick, clearly had not been dusted in months. The shower head has poor water pressure and rusted. There is little to no sound proof so you hear people conversations inside, outside and next door. The staff is HORRIBLE, RUDE, COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMERS! No acknowledgment when you walk in the building or leave. They act as though you are staying there for FREE. The pool area is filthy with trash, food, cigarette butts everywhere. The water tastes like urine! Please, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Don't bother calling them because they do not answer calls. They pick up then hang up on you so you never get anyone! I wouldn't stay there for FREE!!!

Friendly staff kids had an amazing time, indoor kids area

Pleasant stay. Kids had fun at the water park and pools. Though it would have been better if the water was not so cold. We were told they were heated, but only one felt slightly heated and that was after we went and played in the freezing water of the water park and slides. We had to ask for a microwave for our room as there was not one there when we arrived. They are currently going through renovations and the first room we went to didn't have a table, chairs, or a coffee pot. The second room was a bit nicer and had a table, chairs and a coffee pot. The next morning the coffee pot did not work, but the staff was nice to offer us a certificate for the breakfast buffet. The buffet was delicious and I would definitely pay the $12.95 for our next stay. All in all not a bad stay for a last minute change of plans.

The room is nice but the park attracts a lot of dirty and dingy crowds. Food in restaurant is poor quality. Many games in the arcade didn't work. I will not return nor would I recommend. It's rather run down, not what I expected.

Had a fantastic time at CoCo Key....Very Family Friendly, Affordable, Wonderful Staff, Great location. Looking forward to seeing them soon! Wonderful Hidden Treasure in the Heart of Orlando, Florida.

Put some food in the fridge , took it out to eat, roach was on it , but otherwise ok

Rooms stink like mildew. Carpets make your feet black. Beds don't have fitted sheets. Bathrooms are not very nice. Kind of like blocks of motel rooms. The water park is decent. The arcade is ok. Lots of good dining in walking distance. I would not recommend unless you like a solid 2 star vacation.

I normally do not write reviews but I HAD TO! The only good things about our 5 day stay (we were SO ready to leave but ordered on Groupon and wouldn t get a refund!) was the waterpark (when it was actually open) and the rooms were quiet at night; meaning I ve stayed at hotels where neighbors kept you up all night especially on a holiday week, but all was quiet around 10/11 every night. Now....everything else was terrible.
1. Beds: stained but thankfully seemed clean enough to sleep on..but the box springs are SHOT! we ordered 1 king with a pull out couch and received 2 queens . They were really double beds and my husband and I could hardly fit on one and we were pretty much on the ground. Would of been more comfortable to put the mattress on the ground but I was terrified to look under the sheets!!!
2. There was never hot water! First night we had to take cold showers and finally we called and their boiler is broken so they have to turn it back on anytime someone calls without hot water and then you have to wait for it to get hot...
3. DIRTY. Everything was dirty. Didn t even want to walk around the room without shoes..grime in the corners..you literally don t want to touch anything. The smell in the whole resort is disgusting..we couldn t wait to get out of there!
4. Jacuzzi jets didn t work....
5. Pools were nasty, couldn t even see through the pool water with goggles..didn t even want to see what was under the water anyway!
6. Gym equipment didn t work..think we got one elipitical to come on..and a couple weights were there.
7. Couldn t connect to the WiFi on my iPhone at all and 4G wouldn t work at all until we would leave the resort for dinner. Daughter could connect on her tablet but everything was loading and very poor quality what she could get to load. Hubby could get on with his android but could only get on Facebook and YouTube and it all took forever to load as well.

Now, the waterpark was a lot of fun for our daughter. She had a BLAST. We all had a good time once we got used to feeling dirty. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I would pay to go in for just the day for the waterpark! But as soon as there are clouds they shut everything for hours until the clouds are gone so get there ASAP before the storms roll in!

Kids pool, play area smell like mold. Wasn't any towels to use for ok area. Also they were extremely small. Bed sheets were so stiff almost felt dirty.

On pictures they make it look luxurious. I'm very dissappointed and NOT IMPRESSED. They charge for parking and why there wasn't no where to park. For the price they charged its not worth it. Plus hidden fees. If your a positive person trying to make the best of it this place could work.

My family stayed for 4 days,we didn t have any issues with our room. We received our keys to the room right away. The room was a bit dusty but Housekeeping came to give us fresh towels each day, made our beds, and empty the trash. It would be nice if we had a microwave in the room. Probably don t provide microwaves in the rooms because they are trying to control the bug problem in Florida. The buffet breakfast was pretty good too. Two slides were not open (they should indicate that on their site or over the phone before ppl book) the hotel was under construction (painting, drilling, big construction tools, digging, yellow tape) right outside of our room but if they re upgrading the hotel it has to get done I guess. All the jetties didn t work in the whirlpool and the outside bar wasn t open by the whirlpool. The arcade was very nice and Large; better then Chucky Cheese. The store was too expensive but nice employees n clean. They need more signs giving directions to rooms, washroom, ice machines..etc.. ( 7000-7222). We went to Disney, so the location and price was A Great Deal. The agents at the door trying to sale timeshares should be eliminated too. It almost feel harassing but that s all around that area.. Timeshare agents are like the bums on the corner in Detroit; They re Everywhere!! We plan on coming back to give them another chance after all the construction and upgrading is completely done.

My two children aged five and seven really enjoyed this waterpark and the hotel in general. There are some folks that have rated the hotel poorly, but value for the price paid for us was off the charts. I took off a single star because some of the resort was needing some TLC, but our room was great. Sofabed was a bit dirty looking but one of the most comfortable I've seen. We enjoyed our stay here and I think you will too if you have reasonable expectations for the price you pay.

The Place was horrible. Place smelled like mildew and dead animal living there. On top of seeing roaches crawling everywhere ,Toilets don t work, seems as though the AC in the rooms are controlled by the front and the rooms are very hot and uncomfortable, seen 2 ( Spanish )staff outside at night smoking weed probably crack two in the parking lot.Front service was very nice .Other than that the waterpark is very nice and fun for kids

So this weekend ended very quick, after having a blast at the Monster Jam Finals my kids were SUPER EXCITED TO SPEND THE WEEKEND AWAY!
This is a picture of my daughter sad, crying looking out the window of the hotel room we HAD, at the other kids playing and having fun in the pool at the water park today at Coco Key Water Park Resort in Orlando. But it ended only after two hours of playing because she was TOLD that she was not Allowed to go down the slides or in pool because of her PROSTHETIC LEG!!! Making a issue at the pool in front of TONS of people. Mom mode kicks in!! Not about to Embarrass my daughter in front of ANYONE!!!
(Mind you MY DAUGHTER IS CRYING THINKING ITS HER FAULT!!)
Asked us to leave the hotel if we were unable to follow the rules of their pools, which were asking her to remove her leg if her wanted to swim in pool or go down the slides.

There is nothing more we want in the world but for her know and understand that she is NOT DIFFERENT and that CAN DO ANYTHING JUST LIKE ANY OTHER KID!!!! Including Swimming!!
This apparently is NOT the first child with a PROSTHETIC LEG they have done this too!!!
As her mom and dad We are hurt and feel full of anger! I can t express the heart ache I feel in front her and show my weakness with tears because I want her to know she is a Strong Independent Smart Beautiful Little Lady!! And Nothing and NO ONE CANT STOP HER DOING SOMETHING OR HAVING SIMPLE FUN!!
People need to understand that having any kind of disability is not choice they make, its Life given. Please help make AWARENESS FOR THESE CHILDREN!! Please help share the word!!

(Coco key water resort in Orlando is NOT a recommended hotel poor service poor staff poor management).

I think the ADA law will cover this family. Your hotel and employees should be ashamed of yourselfs. You will never ever get my family business or anyone I know business. Hope you make this right or your hotel or employees are going to be losing a lot of money

Was just visiting family. The water slide looked really cool.

I wish I would of read some reviews before staying at this upgraded ( not even) motel nastiness. As soon as we walked in our room it smelled like fresh mildew in the air. Floors still had stuff on them from previous family or vacationers, back pieces to earrings n all. They must not have to vacuum their floors. Our bath towels had long black hair on them, but I have bright pink hair n my boys nor their dad, have long hair. I paid an arm n leg for food that s not worth it at all, I paid $13 for a pina colada flavored smoothie. The bartender was acting a lil funny, example, she took my order 4 different times, repeated the order all times and it still came out wrong. 15 minutes later she was removed from the bar cause she couldn t keep it together n then I realized where the liquor that was supposed to go in my drink really went. My kids had to get out the water cause someone pooped n workers laughed n took forever to take the poop out the pool. The furniture in my room was all beat up n I thought the sink in the bathroom had black hair too but it was just large cracks on the sink. To top it off I killed 2 roaches in the room at separate times. The last one was around 1 in the morning and I brought to a managers attention, even went as far as putting the roach in a cup and bringing it to the lobby. The solution was a vip cleaning. Lol, they don t even know what that means, needless to say we checked out early, the next morning to be exact. We are now staying at a way better hotel with nice clean rooms and my family nor I will ever return to this infested hotel. Oh yea, I forgot to mention at night, the parking lot becomes a gamble between smokers and cops. There is more to this place but I think u got the point and all of this was in less then 24 hours.

I gave it no because I haven't been to it yet ... I'm currently on my way their now.. I have read the reviews their are a lot of bad one's but ill judge off my experience before judging... so wish me luck, and I'll post photos up later of the resort....

Requested at least twice that the "ants in the bathroom be addressed" but I ended up having to kill them myself.

The new paint and flooring was nice.

Slow response to request for towels and tissue.

TV remote broken.

I think the only bad thing is that the rooms do not have microwaves and in all the hotels the main thing is the microwave and the refrigerator there all very well

Highly upset I had to pay $10 for parking at a hotel I AM STAYING AT!!!! Mind you the resort fee is $32! I paid directly on the website were I was told one price and at check in charged another. I have been here several times before and have never had to pay for parking until 2019. I understand if I m only visiting the water park but I AM CHECKED IN! My entire family came on this trip and we booked several rooms and all had to pay $10 for parking a piece, the $$ could have went to way better use! Rip off! I will not be back!

Didn't get the opportunity to stay at the hotel but the water park was a nice place to relax with the kids

CoCo Key is a amazing hotel with a HOTEL SIDE WATERPARK which is just impressive.

We booked a 3 night stay with our 2 little ones. We got there and didn t like the whole smell and how things looked and we decided to check out after an hour of being in our room. I gave 2 stars because we asked for a microwave when we got in and they brought one to our room, which was nice of them. The pictures online were deceiving otherwise. We spoke to them at the front desk that we want to check out and they told us they would charge for one night, which we agreed and checked out (again, after an hour of being checking in). We were told we should see a refund in about 7 days. It s been almost a month now and we are still calling back and forth for our refund. We noticed they charged us that one night separate from the 3 nights we booked. This shouldn t be that difficult to refund. We shouldn t be calling the hotel every week because there hasn t been a refund issued. This is insane and very frustrating!!! Beware...

Overall good place to stay in Orlando near to all attractions. Water park is good for kids as well as for adults. Worth for money. Restaurant is available on-site as well as on a walkable distance from the property.Breakfast buffet is really good.They do have Dollar rental and theft rental counters inside the office building.

Disgusting hotel. The rooms smelled like mildew and the towels stunk. The low prices might look enticing but they hit you with a $32 a day resort fee and taxes on top of that. There were stains on the carpet, and after I slept in the bed I had a red, itchy rash all over my feet that was angry and bumpy.
