This place was awesome. It kept us busy, for sure. An all day water park only 60ft from our rooms.
The only bad thing was the A.C. unit. It would not cool under 70F.
But all in all still deserved a 5 star rating.
Very disappointing stay. Slides were out of service, Food was awful. A microwave dinner would have been far more appealing...The caliber of patrons and staff were quite unsavoury...The aroma of pot was very potent. Rooms were ok; however the door was very difficult to open and close... Not the family friendly atmosphere I was hoping for... We will not be back
We loved this place. I was so nervous because of the roach comments I read but I did not see any at all. I stayed in building 1. Not sure if the suites with the kitchen have roaches. For the price and access to the water park it was awesome . I did feel the floor inside the room was a bit dirty and kept my sandals on but other than that the experience was awesome .
The location of the hotel was great. The wifi did not work, the a/c was broken, breakfast was not included and the room smelled like mildew. The rooms that are located indoors seems to be a little bit more nicer but not by much.
First our room smelled like old cigarettes and the floors were filthy. Most of the games in the arcade were broke. Then one evening at midnight some complete stranger opened our door and was going to come in until he realized there were people inside the room. Talked to front desk they were going to look into it and get back with me. Well they never got back with me so when we were leaving I went to front desk and asked what was going on? Come to find out it was a security guard and he thought room was empty. First off why is a security guard going in rooms at midnight? The hotel did absolutely nothing about a stranger walking in my room where my family was sleeping. Horrible customer service!!!! The kids had fun and that s all that really mattered to me. But I would def not recommend this place nor will we be returning!
I booked a family room here bc it had good reviews, but this resort turned out to be AWFUL. It smelled like mildew, and the beds and pillows were not comfortable. All night I kept waking up because I could hear loud footsteps from the people above us. The temperature in the room was hard to control too. I refused to walk barefoot on there disgusting carpet. The front desk woman was rude. I'm not sure why her picture was on the wall for employee of the month. I do not recommend this place even if you get it a good discounted rate.
Hotel was alright. But they have unfriendly staff. And take note for holding fee or hotel fee that they were saying you ll get once you check out. I never got my refund. And try to call them and they say hotel or holding fee is not refundable, but in front they will say you ll get your refund once u check out. Had a bad experience on this one.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is filthy! Half of the water park is shut down at all times and the management will do nothing for you! Cracked furniture, stains on shower curtains and blankets, coffee maker doesn t work and don t plan on sleeping in because housekeeping will wake you up by pounding on your door hours before checkout! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Run away!!!!!
I liked it a lot but I almost. drowned. on the purple slide. And my uncle tried. To drown me and laughter about it and I get sad
WORSE STAY EVER!!! Our first room we had smelled musty and moldy. Our second room was nicer but they had power washers working woke us up and dirty water came in through the window. No food was offered with stay u had to pay for the buffet which was $13 per person. There were people walking around trying to scam you. No security. The one water slide area was down for construction and all they did was give us half our resort fee back. Then the hot water was out our last night there and in the morning. We had to take cold showers. We complained to the manager of the hotel and all she did was give us the other $102 resort fee back that they charged us and the original resort fee would have been $208 for the whole week. Their were rude ignorant people staying there loud and obnoxious late at night complained to front desk and half the time they didn t answer the phone it would ring for 20 mins no answer. The photos on their website r a COMPLETE LIE and the service and stay was horrific. The only good thing was our housekeeper she was AMAZING!!!!
The place was dingy, but the waterpark looked nice. We didn't even stay because my mom was ready to checkout and go to a Hilton nearby. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE GOOD RATINGS! However, this was about three years ago, so maybe they've done better.

Our expectations were low because of some reviews we read, but we had so much fun and it was better than expected! Check in went quick on a Friday at 6pm, When we arrived our room had a leak in it so we called the front desk, they quickly came to our room to give us keys for another room. They escorted us and made sure our room was good to go before leaving. It was busy, but they ensured people were safe and wearing masks into the water park. The tables were spread enough to not feel crowded and our kids (5, 4, 1) had a blast!l the food was good and we were busy the whole day. It s in a good location with many restaurants nearby. I would recommend and we will definitely come back.
Very disappointing. I reserved a "family friendly " room, pool side.(one room is pool side the other room is parking lot side) The room was in horrible condition. (Dirty, Broken AC, light bulbs out, missing shelves in the shower, wet spots on the ceiling, drawers that would not close, missing cabinet doors, and less than acceptable customer service. ) i witnessed a worker arguing with a guest about an issue with their room, instead of trying to remedy the situation they kept blaming the customer for the issue. The water park was closed 90% of my stay due to weather conditions, but when we were able to get into the water areas it lacked the glory the website pictures showed. The arcade was very nice and the guest pool looked nice, but the entire hotel is loud. We will not be staying here again.

They have not refunded my deposits or answered my calls for almost a month now.... Bugs and mold in the rooms, smelled horrible and did not have any assistance when reaching out. Keep being told my deposit will show and after a month still has not. I am contacting BBB regarding this matter
Rooms need work. Missing simple things like plastic cups. Overheard an angry employee, when called on his radio, telling the person on the other end to "shut up" then proceeded to answer the radio. Employees look miserable and only one cleaning lady said, "Good Morning" when passing. Others ignored us even after greeting them. "Resort" is really pushing the boundaries of what that means. I would call it a motel with a water park which was not open when we were there, yet still charged their $10/day resort fee.

We had a room for the weekend, arrived late night, the room given to us had a air conditioner not working, our room was changed. We forgot our Wallet on the room. When we called to get back was returned but With all money missing.

We vacationed here for 4 days and it was pretty okay. It's not a 5 star but it's somewhere clean and comfortable to stay. Very kid friendly. We had an issue with our fridge but maintenance came after a hour and fixed the issue.
Had a great time with grand kids. Rooms & beds very nice. I would visit again.
Great resort & waterpark. Kids loved it. Amazing lifeguards very professional & I witnessed them saving 2 children while there for 7 days. Buffet breakfast $4.99 for kids. Rooms need deep clean but pros outweigh cons. Overall for location & price - perfect.
My family and I spent the weekend in Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights this past weekend. 3 of us went to Universal Studios for the event, and the rest of us stayed at the hotel. Those of us who stayed behind at the hotel agreed that we had a far better time than those who went to HHN! The rooms were beautiful, the staff was courteous - one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel, ever! We're planning on coming back early next year to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it's a given that we'll be staying at CoCo Key once again! LOVED IT!
My family and I have stay at Coco key twice before 2015 and staying there again next week. We truly love it there. The rooms are nice, room service is nice, good and gift shop has everything we need. The waterpark for the little kids is nice and the slides for the older kids are fun. The resort is close to everything you don't need to use your car. I have nothing bad to say but only good things. I highly recommend it to family who are looking for a nice vacation, Coco key water resort Orlando is the place. We will see you soon Coco
The water park, friendly staff and cheap price were the saving grace to this hotel. The rooms smelled like wet moldy dog feet. Water park was fun but they alternated between the slides and water park hourly making each over crowded or long lines for the slides. The pool surface is super rough and scraped up myself and daughter. Lifeguards that were on duty we're very astute and alert at all times which gave me comfort.
Room was a little dated, but the kids loved the park.
The room smells really bad. I payed for 2 queen beds but they gave us 1 queen bed and 1 roller bed. I don`t think this is a hotel. I think this is a motel. Don`t waste all your money on this motel. Very disappointing. I will never come back here again.

I love it because well, I went there and it is beautiful I even got a coconut and the couch turns into a queen sized bed and the McDonald's there is huge and there is an arcade and If the line is full there are machines that take your order there's even dessert

I travel, through my work, occasionally, and have stayed in a variety of seedy hotels/motels, so don't think, for a second, that I'm embellishing. My wife spoke to the hotel, via email, regarding our displeasure, and they didn't even bother to respond.
I went to the "water park" with my family and everything except the little kiddie play areas was closed and even then the areas the water was ice cold

The front desk lady was awesome very personable. Our room was huge. Very concerned after reading many reviews about bugs. DID NOT SEE ONE!! Glad my family gave it a chance. Water park was good. Big slides were great for my teenage boys. Only downside was room had a musty smell. Beds were comfortable. Arcade was fun for the boys.
Mary at the front desk was rude. Also, I stayed March 8 thru March 10 and now it s April 1st and I still haven t received my accidental fee back.

It was wonderful. Never been here but was blessed to have my uncle whom was visiting from take us and we had a marvelous time!! Roseanna who checked us in was super fantastic at check in yesterday which was Tuesday April 16th 2019. We thank all your workers for taking great care of the quest but especially roseana for the attentive care she gave my family.
Coco Keys was better than we expected. The location was great, room was clean, an staff was very helpful. Great place to stay if you have kids. Depending on location of your room, you may not have access to a elevator if on the 2nd floor.

Horrible half the slides are broke the infants can't use any float device I was suggested to go to the regular hotel pool where floats are aloud and my only float was an 18" by 12" for my 6month old son horrible hotel horrible staff horrible environment. Well I had to come back and change my review after the 2nd night. I originally gave it 2 stars but after the 2nd night there I wish I could give it 0 stars. Slow check in. not at all what I expected. This place is basically a motel with a water park. they need to remove resort from the name. Not at all what I expected from the pictures. The room stinked and there was a urine smell that I pin pointed to the bed . once I pulled back the sheets I found a yellowish/brown stained up urine mess . They tried to explain that's comes from treatment of the bed but I wasn't buying it they need to burn those mattresses. The carpet felt weird don't trust walking on without shoes. But it's in a great location but I would rather spend more money and stay somewhere else cleaner. I left there and cancelled the rest of my stay .on the upside the staff was friendly and the manager was apologetic. My advice is to run far far away from this place
We had no complaint at all, we stayed at building 6 the ultra hygiene, rooms are clean and continuous cleaning. We didn't plan trip ahead, booked room on phone couple days before, fair price if you like do different activities around Orlando instead of staying all time at Disney Resorts.

Came in and expected a nice tall building but found out it was like a motel type, 2 floor all around with such terrible colors. It s not anything fancy or classy because it s motel built. The slides size are equivalent to the size of a small parking lot. Also it has a terrible smell all around the property. The place works if your kid is less than 10years old . But don t expect much coming here.
Don't recommend. In summary, barely and towels, Smelly and dirty pools. The smell was kinda toxic. Roaches. Yup. Not the BEST mattresses, but we slept well. Besides the roaches. No microwave, some of the outlets in our room were not working. Very small coffee machine, and the front desk is rude. House Keeping is nice, but never gave us a cot like we asked and no towels. Don't recommend, liveable, but... no.
Check in was a nightmare due to the sight me booked it on. Tony was very helpful and had no complaints on the stuff what so ever. They were all friendly and helpful. The lifeguards were on top of it and was very aware of what was going on. The 2 rooms we were in were terrible, dirty and has a bad smell. We had one room and ended up changing just because of the smell and the vibe. We got there and there was a fight that brook out so the pool was shut down for hours. It was re opened but only part of it. There were bugs that looked like ants coming out of the bathroom sink and on the last night there we saw 1 bed bug. The water resort was great but look into a different hotel.
Went here one night as a large group during a Girl Scouts trip with my daughters. The water park was fun for the kids. I do wish there was some sort of an "adult area" as the pools (and bar) close at 10pm.
All in all, it was definately fun.
The kids loved it. If you have a few or large family events, would recommend.
I went here for my bday it was awesome so many attractions like the world's biggest McDonalds, checkers even the worlds 2nd biggest fairus wheel and a ifly near it.
The rooms are okay but theres that mold smell. Its over priced, its like a upgrade holiday in, but still have that old building smell. However the water park is great, fun especially for kids.
The water park was nice. That is the only thing I can say. Fridge did not work good in the room. In all other rooms there are microwaves and lighting but in my room the only source of light was one lamp in between the beds.
I usually stay at the holiday inn water resort but decided to try something different, won t do that again.

Save your money and stay anywhere else. This hotel was very dirty. Grease hand prints all over the room. Almost everything was broken. The water park was closed, they didn't tell us that till we showed up at the hotel. So I had very disappointed children. We left the hotel early and spend the rest of our stay at the holiday inn express down the road.

Poor service had to wait for someone to open our door and had my kids wet outside in hall was waiting for someone For about 15min to have someone come in!!
The water park was very clean nothing wrong with the facility itself. However the staff was awful. I shouldn t say all of them but a hand picked few. They would sit with their arms crossed and frowns (all looked mad). They were annoyed when anyone asked a question and it was our first time being here and didn t know we had to have a special tube for a certain ride and the girl had the worst attitude about it. It s kind of hard to have a smile on our face and enjoy our vacation when the staff clearly doesn t want to be there.

It was terrible. At 330 in the morning...someone was using their key to open our door...and it did...we had the DEADBOLT on. 3 times they opened it and I got up quickly and went out the door. There was a lady walking away. I called to her but she kept going. I went back inside to get my shoes and to go to the office. When I stepped out of the room, there was a man and a different woman asking where room 5203 was. I was 5103. Somehow, their key opened my door?!?!?!?!?! I went to the office and asked the lady of she just checked someone into 5203 and she said "yes are they too loud" I said "NO YOU GAVE THEM A KEY TO MY ROOM AND THEY TRIED TO COME IN MY ROOM 3 TIMES with my 3 teenage girls." The lady was like oops...I'll make you a new key. I told her I was calling the cops and she comped the room and offered a 1pm checkout. When I went to checkout in the noon, the front people tried telling me I couldnt have a late checkout. I was like, I didnt sleep for 4 hours post someone trying to come in my room and we need the extra sleep time. The manager was perturbed the night lady comped my room and was not about to let us stay late. She finally relented as the lobby was filling with folks and I was saying over and over how we didnt sleep well due to the fact they gave a STRANGER the key to our room. The place was a dump. The water park was filthy and trash was EVERYWHERE at the waterpark part. The room was very stuffy and damp feeling. I would NEVER send anyone I cared about to that hotel.
Stay away! This rinkidy dink motel will steal your money. I stayed there over a month ago. Why are you charging my card extra fees today! A whole month later? Then when I call I get blindly transferred to someone s voicemail and when I call back no one answers!
This is our absolute favorite water park area in Orlando. I dont have to chase my kids, I can drink an adult beverage and relax and I can ride the slides too!
