I Have ate here 5 times and have enjoyed the food and the views.
Mediocre food, ok service and decent atmosphere. Other then the amazing view nothing stands out!
Bad Experiente! Price much too high for por menu. Food wasnt worth that money! View was nice but not amazing. We took the cheapest 2 course choice and paid 210 CAD. WOULDnt recommen that!
Original restaurant with stunning views and good meal
Had a wonderful time having lunch for my father's 85th birthday! This was a great way to get to the observation decks too. We were given a pass which alliwed us te-entry to the restaurant to use their elevator, bypassing the 45min line up to get back down.
The food was teally good and while it was very busy we recieved great service! They even have my dad a birthday cake on the house! I will go back to try the dinner menu and the winter menu.
Had an excellent meal which was nowhere near worth the price it carried, but the experience is probably what your paying for , namely the actual rotating dining room and the city view. Was worth noting that our server was absolutely amazing. One of the best I've had in a while.
The meal was refreshingly good. Views of course we're fantastic as you would expect.
Good city overviews by riewalving restaurant Spl. in nights
Great view, service could been better and they dont season the food.
If you love the city lights, I would highly recommend the place. The food is great but pricey. If you dine here you can also explore the CN Tower which will cost you for about $40cad.
Amazing view. Very good service. Good food. Poor cleanliness. Actually, it smells like an old hotel that needs to re-carpet. It is a pity that the restaurant has everything going for it but cheap cleaners. Went again this year and found a couple staff frowning as we were seated because we had 4 children. We won't be back soon. Tables seemed to be closer this year too. I would prefer if they charge more and have less people than stuff us in like Auschwitz.
Ok food but not worth the money. Tower - great view!
Amazing place to have dinner. Great view and delicious food
Food service has gone down drastically. No flavour nothing special and staff is too busy to care or check up on you. Asked for something simple like salt and pepper because it lacked any taste and the server never came back. Cn tower view is awesome so i gave this restaurant a one star. Otherwise I ve done fine dining and this was horrible in comparison. Also comparing prices, this place is overly priced for tasteless food.
While the view is splendid (but you have the same with a simple visit), unfortunately the quality of the dishes was not there.
Out of three different starters, only one was good: the bison tartare was not bad at all, the fish-based starters were really terrible! (Neither blah nor bad, but really shameful)
The main courses were ok but nothing more, and the desserts average as well.
Good wine list.
Fortunately, the service is warm.
On the other hand, the room is noisy and the dressing of the tables is basic.
We've had much better dining experiences in Toronto for three times the price.
Disappointing in the end for a prestigious address like this one. An experience that is not worth the price.
Delicious meal from start to finish. The staff was also amazing!
The price is similar to the 360 restaurant in Vancouver, but the food quality and service are much lower.
It is great to eat at the 360 restaurant, and anyone from Toronto, and visitors to Toronto should definitely eat here at least once. You have a wonderful panoramic view of the city from all directions. You also acquire free entrance to the glass floor and the Tower if you book your reservations.
I found however, that the food was not on par with the price they were charging; $58 for two courses and $72 for three; the service was excellent no doubt, but the food seemed to lack that pizzaz you expect from entrees exceeding $20-35 per dish. The steak for example, was priced differently even if I wanted to skip one of two of my courses in lieu of it, this was odd. The heirloom tomatoes, an appetizer, were fantastic.
I would've given it two stars, however our waiter Keith was extremely nice and had some fantastic recommendations for champagne (along with the tomatoes) made me kick it up another notch.
Worst ever, shrimp was decayed meat was nothing testy, it is my first time to remain for comments!
I thought this would be a tourist trap but I was pleasantly surprised. Took my sister here for lunch when she came to visit me. The restaurant takes an hour to rotate the full 360 degrees and it was an excellent way to spend an hour with spectacular views. I had the Seafood Aguachile appetiser, which was delicious, and the Lobster Pasta main, which was also good.
If you have a reservation booked at the restaurant you get to skip the normal queues and head straight up. After you meal you can go to the viewing levels, which is included in the cost of your prix fixe meal. A two course prix fixe menu is $60. Compare this to the cheapest single adult ticket at $38 just to go up to the viewing levels and this felt like good value.
In terms of dress code, we went on a particularly hot day, so changed into smarter clothes when we go there. This wasn't necessary for lunch, there were plenty of people wearing shorts and it was a relaxed atmosphere. Not sure if it's a smarter dress code for dinner.
Overall this was a memorable lunch and we really enjoyed it.
Had dinner with relatively large group about 40 from CFIB. Reservations were for 6pm but by the time they had tables ready it was closer to 6:30. The service was very good and the food quality was excellent, I ordered the Pickeral and my wife Chicken. The restaurant moves slowly and gives you a 360 degree view of Toronto skyline which was icing on the cake.
A very special place to visit. The views, on a clear day, are breathtaking. Made me re-fall in love with the city. And the food was fantastic along with the service.
Always such a great experience! Superb food and the view is spectacular!
Loved the pork belly here!! Visually stunning in appearance of both restaurant and food. Worth the price for the experience. The food itself was great although the platter with the cheeses and the boar was a little disappointing. Still an amazing place.
Food was great, view was wonderful. If the servicer wasn t so eager to flip the table it would be perfect.
food was a bit better than average but totally worth the view.
The food was terrible....$100 per person after drinks, tip, taxes. I can cook food at home much better for 1/10 the cost. The view and experience was pretty amazing though. Prices need to match quality of food.
Loved the experience, the food and the service. This is the way to experience the CN Tower!
Very expensive for what you get. But I suppose they charge for the view.
I am not sure why there are so many negative comments about the restaurant. I went for the second time last night for my boyfriend's birthday and I could not be happier with how the night went. The service was excellent, the staff were super kind and wonderful. The food was incredible, I got the prime rib and it literally melted in my mouth because of delicious it was, yum! My boyfriend and I were thoroughly happy with the meal, the views and the experience. The restaurant is more of occasional dinners/ meals and for me, it was more for the romantic views and the company of my boyfriend. We had a very lovely time!
Attended a late lunch seating with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. The revolving restaurant is a fantastic way to see the city/ GTA layout, and with our timing we enjoyed the sunset as we finished our meal.
Management and staff were very friendly and professional. Francesco, our server had a great attitude and was helpful with recommending wine and food, and overall did a great job making our experience feel special.
Music in the dining room was odd and kind of mismatched to the fine dining environment (80's pop).
Food was excellent (had the fois gras, cesar salad, panko encrusted chicken, squash ravioli).
Admission to the glass floor and observation levels were included in the meal price. This was a very nice treat to enjoy.
Highly recommended for a special occasion, for tourists, or just something different to do in Toronto.
It was wonderful. Ambiance, staff, and breathtaking view high above the city, could not ask for more. Thanks a million Keith.
Food was ok. But setting was outstanding, obviously
We had purchased tickets for my family to go up to the observation deck previously through our hotel. That day my husband decided that he would like to celebrate so I made a reservation for the restaurant. I was not aware that the observation deck was included with dining in the restaurant so we arrived about 30 mins before or reservation with our tickets. We went through and they scanned our tickets and as I we were about i mentioned I had a reservation to which they sent me over to the check in desk then right up to the restaurant. We got up to the restaurant and we re sat down, the hostess was lovely and patient with my children. The view was great but my youngest son started acting up (it had been a long travel day, he s typically well behaved but he was exhausted). Our server was an older man, he was not very welcoming seemed rather horrified that there were children at the table. Since it is an expensive experience I decided not to bother the other diners and cancel. To be courteous I told the waiter that I would like to leave a tip more or less of what he would have got had we actually dined so basically I left him $40 so eat some stale bread and get the stink eye when I could have stayed and let my child bother everyone. The worst part that left a horrible taste in my mouth though was this: Since we had physical tickets and hadn t been to the observation deck yet we asked the girl at the elevator to go to the observation deck along with another couple, she turned to them and said yes of course, but to us she said but not you guys! I m actually taking you down to the ground upon request from the restaurant. I felt like a criminal, I was already horribly embarrassed. I explained that I had tickets but hadn t yet been up so why would I have to go down, I told her she could ask the other elevator attendant to which she told me they have no way of communicating, are totally separate and to just go to customer service desk. By then I just wanted to leave, luckily the gentleman at customer relations was lovely and let us up but honestly the whole thing was a nightmare and that waiter for working in such an expensive restaurant was not friendly. Never going back!
Loved the experience but booked a table for 2 by the window 4 months in advance for anniversary and surly maitre d told us it would be another 45 mins wait! So we took another table. David our waiter was a delight and a beauty of a sunset.
If I could give more granular points, it's more 3.5 instead of 4, but 4 is fair too. Food is average. For 2 course meal, the serving size could be a bit too small for some. Price-wise, still expensive even after minus general admission cost.
The view is to die for, the service was fantastic, the food was pretty good!
Note that you don't get skypod access with your restaurant reservation. However imho there's not much more you can see up in the skypod anyways. So I'd consider this a pretty good deal, especially if you're taking someone there for their first time in Toronto.
A place where locals would never go and tourists think it's the best place since sliced bread, zzzz
Perfect meal sizes. Taste great. Abs the view was amazing
Went there with my husband to celebrated my birthday. The food is fin although pricy; however, the view is glorious.
As most have mentioned here, you come here for the view - not the food. It is a better deal in my opinion than just simply going up the elevator. The service was great and the food was not bad at all, but not worth its price. The ambiance however is fantastic.
Despite Trip advisor score of 3.5 we found food excellent, service personal, and enjoyed our evening.
Truly the highlight of an amazing day in Canada's most beautiful city. I called my grandma from the top of the tower <3
Boring food.. they have managed to spoil the simple fish dishes with over powering flavours and a lack of seasoning. Go for the meat dishes, if any.
It was my second and last time in the restaurant. The food was fine, pricy as usual. I can't recommend desserts.
I also can't stand situations when restaurants insist on tipping.
411$ - 6 courses of meals for 3 pearsons including desserts, two wine, two beer and 15% tip.
The food was terrible and overpriced and the service was absolutely horrible. I will not be going back.
Seen much more than astounding from the top of the 340 meters of the revolving restaurant we took the seafood platter for two which was ample. The food just exquisite. Negative point we are warned that we only have 2 hours to eat and let's say that the server comes very very very often to remove the finished things ... So much so that the main meal is not finished that he already asks us if we want it. dessert menu. Also a little cold in the restaurant I am not cautious but I was cold but all in all an excellent meal and service
Great Food at Fair not Cheap Price, Great view of the CITY!!
The place is wow, amazing. However, the food is far less from being incomparable, maybe by the price only. Any beverage is ridiculously expensive. If you're still interested get your drinks in the downtown, not there.
My compliments to the cook - the food was cooked perfectly. The steak, the salmon, the veggies - everything was done to the perfection.
My surprise was, how limited the menu was.
No vegans, vegetarians or lactose intolerant people are welcome. It sure did not make any sense to me. The restaurant, which is visited by thousands of tourists every year - everyone have to eat unhealthy North American diet. We were informed by our waiter, that all meals and deserts have dairy. Well, I found one desert which did not. After we informed our waiter that we do not eat dairy, he brought us a butter with the bread. Apparently some people do not know what dairy means. What about gluten free or other dietary restriction? Any regular restaurant I ever visited had more meal choices than this one.
They definitely need a new suggestion box!!!
If not the number one touristic attraction in Ontario (competing possibly with Niagara Falls), the CN Tower restaurant is expected to be pricey. Twice as expensive as any restaurant chain, it lacks though in quality of food and definitely the service provided (far below any chain). Understaffed, long wait times for whatever you need, not able to provide menu items (not available or run out)... basic things that could become annoying and spoil the otherwise breath taking experience at such high altitude :). As long as you set your expectations properly, you're up for a great experience...
Lovely atmosphere. Good a but pricey, but worth it!
I went with my boyfriend as he had never been up the CN tower before and I figured for the price of the observation deck we might as well fork out the extra money and have a nice restaurant at the rotating restaurant. I requested a table by the window when I made the reservation and was so happy to have gotten one as we had an amazing view of the city, my boyfriend loved it. Our server was also amazing. However, I got the chicken, and it was awful, I choked most of it down but couldnt force myself to finish the rest. My side of asparagus was good, as was my dessert, but the chicken was so embarrassingly bad for the price. But my boyfriend enjoyed his cod and dessert too. All in all, you are lappayying for the view, not the food, so dont expect too much from your meal. If not for the amazing view the nasty food would have ruined my time.
The view was amazing and definitely worth seeing but the meal was mediocre. I'd skip the seafood platter, it looks impressive but wasn't as good as the previous time I visited.
At places like this, remember that you re paying for the view more than the food. Vegetarians have an option of risotto or butternut squash ravioli as their their entrees. Both were alright, but the food isn t the the star. The service was good, the view is phenomenal, and the apps and desserts will outshine the entrees (at least if you re vegetarian). Just be prepared to spend upwards of 75 Canadian per person, no matter what.
The view is amazing! The presentation of the food is very nice. We took 3 course. The portions of the food at first sight seems small, but they feel you up pretty good. (Eat more bread ) Mostly its the view that you are paying for.
Beautiful view of the city, delicious food, prices $ 60 +
Went for my mother's birthday supper. Superb service, food and views!
I don t think the food is worth the price you pay, however the view and the experience itself was amazing. All the staff at the 360 front desk are helpful, and our waiter Michael was beyond great. Water was always full, there was enough time between meals to relax and enjoy the view, he made great conversation and played a big part in our overall experience.
If you are adventurous, then 360 is for you. I have been to this restaurant twice. My first experience was not that perfect, and management offered me a gift card, so I tried it another time. The most alluring thing about this place is the "view" which is spectacular. I believe this should be the primary reason you would want to dine at 360. It is ideal for business meetings, special occasions, date, etc. The ambiance is fine. However, I believe this relatively depends on the day you go and your luck. One thing that I can mention here with confidence is that there is some room for improvement in the quality of food. If I want to be fair, I would say the food is just about average, if not lower. The options on the menu (not extra $ options though) are not that much. For the appetizer, I struggled to find something that I like, and I failed to do so (a friendly advice; stay away from "King Cole Farms Duck Liver Parfait", see photo). For the main course, so far we tried Chicken Quebec, Atlantic Salmon Fillet, Fogo Island Cod and Shrimp, and 45 Day Aged Alberta Prime Rib of Beef, and I would give 5 or 6 out of 10 to all of them. The dessert menu offers more interesting options (e.g., Dark Chocolate Tower). Another disappointing fact aside from the quality of food is that the waiters usually are busy to check in with you more than once. Overall, it worth trying only once.
Excellence! The food was exactly what we expected, superb! Service, exactly the same. A wonderful experience! Definitely fine dining for lunch. Thank you for the great time!
We had our wedding party go to the 360 for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The food was great and our waiter, Geoff, was fantastic. He was very helpful and never rushed us. The view was superb - we saw the lake and city go by a couple of times while we were there. Very nice perk. The prices were a little high, but expected for a tourist location like this. The only issue we had was that it was crowded and a bit noisy and the tables/chairs were too close together making it difficult to leave the table for any reason without asking the people behind us to push in their chairs. A bit inconvenient but didn't it ruin an otherwise memorable wedding lunch!
Amazing view from the restaurant, excellent service, high quality food.
This was probably the worst experience I had. This was the third time visiting, yet this will definitely be the worst. Out waiter was extremely rude and the service was appalling. He treated us so poorly my 4 star rating from before no longer stands. We spent 700 dollars for 5 people, yet the service was not even comparable to a restaurant of fraction of that price. Even considering the view, this place is not worth it. I would instead recommend Canoe which is miles better in terms of both the service and atmosphere.
The view is inspiring! The view of sunset is gorgeous! The wine cellar is Big! BUT the food is ok.. I would not recommend the restaurant by the food!!!
Very nice view, the food is good although it is not a big deal. Plan on at least $ 100 in food.
Great place to go for a speacil occasion. Beautiful 360 view of down town TO. Food was pleantiful and flavorful you pay for what you get and you get alot for what you pay. I even recieved a complementary birthday dessert.
