Club Med Resort, Bintan Island Review

Such an excellent place to have holiday with family and friends!! Friendly GOs, beautiful weather, nice food, different activities and party everyday.

the wifi in the room total sucked big time. Was not able to connect to the wifi and after repeated follows up with the resort via phone and at the reception, there was no improvement. That was the frustrating point which sort of spoilt the holiday.

A good rep of Club Med but food is not as good as I expected

Very relaxing place, although the food is diverse but ordinary, it is not particularly delicious.
One star is missing because there was a show one night, and the singer walked away and couldn't sing in high pitches. It was a disaster for the whole show. Club Med has always been of a high standard. I really do n t know why there is such an absurd performance?

Lots of fun for the family. As with all Club Meds there is lots to do here, and the service staff (guest relations officers) are all very friendly and knowledgeable.

A wonderful place to enjoy and relax in, Club Med Bintan island is a great destination and can be recommended for all ages - especially great for family groups.
The location, food, services are all great and the GO team wonderful.
Special thanks to Ghazza and Jono for their special care and attention. I cannot wait to visit again.

Fantastic resort. Very helpful staff, lots of choice of activities, good selection of free food/drink, and the beach/sea is incredible! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Rooms have been renovated to a better standard since I last visited two years ago. There are more activities and facilities. Amazing GOs and GEs. The daily night shows were amazing too!

They are now serving food in smaller plates but of higher quality.

My family really enjoyed our second visit to Clubmed Bintan.

I stayed for 5 days but it was a very satisfying stay.
The staff was very good and I enjoyed my vacation every day. I want to go again next year.

The overall place definitely need some renovation, especially the rooms, the toilet and room look old and one of the room i stay, the air con was leaking water but they manage to stop the leaking the next day.Shower area need to do some renovation to it. I find the activities is a bit too little and some of the activities clash with the kids timing. Example we suppose to pick the kids up at 4.45pm but the yoga start at 4pm and crossfit start at 5.15, so if you are having lesson then you will have problem picking the kids. Will be good to add more things to play in the resort, place is big but too little things to play. Gym is very small, could have add more equipment and machines! Food is fancy but not tasty, could work more on the taste rather then the look.

Very well run, staff are so pleasent and helpful. Would vo back and would defi atley recommend

It was wonderful!
The sea was quite clear and I managed to find some cute shells and sea creatures such as clams and hermit crabs.
Would Recommend going there.

They should say that the sea sends tar residues from ship washings and dirty a beautiful beach

First time to Club Med Bintan and the kids had so much fun. So many activities to do or u can just choose to chill at the beach, by the pool or at the bar. Definitely will visit again!

Renovated recently. Clean room and nice place to rest. But, nothing to do outside of resort.

Warm welcome from the GOs at arrival, good food and accommodation, nice and helpful staff, they even greet us goodbye when we leave, feeling warmhearted. Will be back again.

The property is big. It's clean, maintained and beautiful. The staff here is very helpful. The rooms are pretty good. There is free WiFi in the entire property which is very slow but if you want speed you can pay for it. As it is an all inclusive resort everything is free including most of the activities, food and unlimited beverages. And if you are above 18 years of age you are eligible for free alcoholic drinks as well. For lunch and dinner there are different cuisines (Chinese, Italian, Indian, etc) available. Overall it is an amazing place to relax and enjoy.

Stayed here for 3 nights in January 2020 and enjoyed the experience. The food is absolutely amazing, with 5 star standard for every single meal, with the widest selection of food you could ever want. The staff were super helpful and friendly, with the only downside the rooms are really showing their age.

All in all a good experience, friendly staff, beautiful beach, very friendly and helpful. || The restaurant's main food choices are very good, || Entertainment at the Theater was good, late at night rather quiet with dance music for all ages lost. Car service is very good..and satisfying service

First time in Club Med and I must say it's a good experience. The welcoming atmosphere, the buffet which even features plated food, the performances by the multi-talented staff including the GM, all gel together to foster a congenial spirit. Of course the free flow cocktails, mocktails and beer help a lot to loosen up the entire population. Set in a beautiful beach resort with almost flat sandy beaches, lots of coconut trees and pondoks, water and land sports and a circus school, what more can I say; especially as the price is an all-inclusive one. I think we'll definitely try other Club Meds after this experience.

I spent only 1 week at Club Med Bintan Island, but that was a week I will never forget. The beach is just lovely, so close from even the most isolated accommodation in the resort. The sand is white, the water clear, and a bar so close to the water I was never without a cocktail!
That said, waves and sand are not every customer's preference, so Club Med Bintan (CMB) provides a pair of crystal clear swimming pools free for all customers. I was lucky enough to experience a swim in the pool during a rainstorm, with the rain hitting the water creating beautiful little splashes.

The food was exceptional, so many different cultures and culinary backgrounds in one place. Each nationality's food is found in a different section of the Waterfall Restaurant (CMB's main restaurant), with a central buffet providing even the most unadventurous pallet some worthwhile tucker. Any customer could be as creative (or boring!) as they wanted, with a lovely selection of breads, fruits and cheeses allowing for a spot of light eating after a swim in the pristine pool, and the unlimited supply of enticing wines did not go unnoticed either.

The activities at CMB are many and exciting, with my favourites being kayaking and snorkeling. Snorkeling takes the customer, not that i should say customer when it is included for free, out around a rocky island about 1 km from the resort. Here, after a brief safety instructional, the GM (which i shall use instead of customer) heads into the water and experiences the fastest 45 minutes of their life. Hundreds of little fish swirl around the GM against a backdrop of vibrant coral, creating an overwhelming sensory overload which left me grinning from ear to ear. The fish must be used to humans, as they swim alongside and even in front of the GM. Eels poke their heads of their rocky caves for a cautionary glance at you, before slipping back inside with only a small cloud of sand showing they were ever there. A life jacket supports the GM, which i am glad of, as I dare say I was so enchanted with this place that I may have neglected to swim. When time is up, the whole boat is a chatter of excited voices, each telling another of their amazing underwater adventures.. I especially loved this, as the group that had been quiet on the way out was now a mess of introductions and newly forged friendships.

OMG!! Our first Club Med experience and it was AMAZING!!! Everything about it was awesome - the child/adult/family activities, the exciting experiences, the family friendly parties to the wonderful food and relaxing moments was a joy. But what made it the best holiday ever was certainly the beautiful, hard working GO s! Special thanks and to Samone, Chelsea, Sam and Kate and of course our Kids Club Hero s Rowena, Omen, Christian, Rifqi, Fin, Grace, Vale and Ami. It wouldn t be what it is without you guys!

Great place for some family fun. But do not expect the accommodation to be top notch. Lots or lizards and bugs round the rooms.

It s been a tremendous trip in ClubMed Bintan.
My husband and i enjoy to the max, they have best team of GOs, passionate, friendly and very nice to everyone in de resort.
The food both Waterfall and La Terrace served are delicious and signature of chef is a Must Try.
I am surely will be back to here again next time. Wonderful weekend getaway to Bintan. Enjoy every moment here. +hanks

Bintan was the best experience. Ali from teens club was the best. The whole trip was amazing but teens club and the shows and entertainment everynight was definitely the highlight for me. Definitely recommend going. Best holiday ever!!!!!!

Seems like a decent place to come with a family but the building seems a touch run down. All inclusive drinks are average at best.

Allison and Ali are the best GO. Can t wait to come back again

1. Beach Safety is a concern here. No life guard even though they made lots of publication on rib current. Some incident, thanks to passerbys who jumped into the water to rescue a bunch of teens.
2. Food is mediocre. Frankly, I was looking forward to that, but was disappointed.
3. Overall, below average value. But that s just my opinion and experience. Yours may be better, I hope.

Booked a package thru a tour agency. Staff very polite, energetic and attentive. Good! Likes - food and drinks were plentiful but some of the food did not taste "asian nice". It was more accustomed to the europeans. There were lots of programs for kids and adults alike. Dislike - 1 of the room booked was seaview but there wasnt any view. Suggestions - Provide supper. Maybe having a vending machine serving hot food might help. Extend bar hours till 1am or 2am. 12 midnight seems to be too early esp when on holidays.

The best place to have vacations! Excellent team, amazing activities and food. Due its proximity to Singapore, is a good option to pass some days enjoying the beach and the sun.

The perfect place for an exotic vacation. Service and residents very nice and friendly.

2. Thanks to clubmed bintan GO. My son n i stayed at clubmed for 5 days. He went to miniclub he love all the acivity with the club. The GO take care for his meal, so no worry about the kids. I can enjoy my time during vacation.

Great staff but need a watch to get to activities. Santo, Alex, Ditka are great and will help you at water sports. A special thanks to RIO who even offered me his own mask and snorkel when I was not able to get a place in the long line..Abhi who was a master at making us feel at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Anya who helped us with the Min Club for the kids... Seek these great people (apologies if I have missed anyone).

I enjoyed the pool, the sea, and many activities with my children.
Meals are also buffet style, so you can choose as many food and drinks as you like. Thank you for not having to worry about meals.
You can also see many animals such as squirrels, monkeys, and monitor lizards.

Place is nice with a lot of activities. Not so much people. A lot of food. I like the beach and good services.
