Amazing Entertainment - wow, I have to say we were really surprised to meet a group of such talented people. The GO's that worked all day, then put on a show at night was really something. When do they have time to train?? I have a lot of respect for the work and effort they make to do this. It was completely different to see them out during the day, then change into showtime for the evening. thanks Clubmed For the experience

Bintan is wet season from October. Snorkeling is only available from April to October. It is smaller than Balinese Club Med and does not have much food type and taste. The sea is pretty and swimming is possible, but be careful because there are jellyfish and Ian type. The depth of the pool is 1m ~ 1.7m. There are no geniuses. Be careful when you open the balcony windows and monkeys come in. Terrace Outdoor restaurant is where monkeys steal the fruit on the plate. (Kids like it)
There is no shopping mall or massage shop nearby, so you should call a taxi to ebay. The nearby golf courses are beautiful and wonderful.

A very nice holiday resort on the shores of the ocean. 2 large restaurants, several bars, 2 swimming pools. A beautiful sandy beach. A wide range of entertainment and sports. From golf to trampolines. Several disco halls and a cinema-theater. A very rich offer of meals from several cuisines: European (mainly French), Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian and Korean. I heartily recommend.

So far so good, nothing compared to Club Med Mauritius..

We stayed in the bintan med club for 4 days. Very friendly and efficient staff. Impeccable service. The only flaw of this fantastic place is the tar on so many points of the beach, in the rocks and sea certainly not clean. Impossible to take a walk on the beach without finding your feet dirty with tar. Really a pity, first of all due to the nature of the place.

Perfect stay with an amazing team. Have hardly met a hotel crew with so much heart and passion. The property is a little dated though. Thank you. Will be back.

A beautiful resort with a very friendly, supportive and heart warming staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. 10/10 gonna go again.

Room can be improved with more power sockets. That aside, the staff are very talented. Don't miss the nightly shows performed by the staff. Beautiful property. Best of all...the food quality and spread is impressive.

We have been to many wonderful beaches in South East Asia, but I still say this is the very best..wonderful venue, wonderful staff, wonderful food and a truly amazing beach..

Staff is very friendly. A lot of activities to choose from. Food is great. Room could be better. It was a little run down and the toilet clogged on the first day. But otherwise, an enjoyable experience.

Hotel with a million facilities and comfort. Suitable for vacation with family. You don't need to get out of the hotel area, but it's already here. Eat 3 times, other activities also exist

Friendly staffs and I've always liked the idea of a full board destination. Especially with kids in tow. And yes, very VERY kid friendly!

Because it was a resort area, rooms are like this-as you imagined. All inclusive and food and drink free. Scenery and activities, spa and fulfillment. It looks like it's old in terms of facilities, but it's different from a sophisticated, high-class hotel in the city, so it's full of resort feeling!

Good destination for spending a day or two away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. As always with club med, value for money could be questionable, especially since the amount and types of activities available here are quite limited

What a beautiful place so close by ferry to Singapore. Has a really nice beach and lots of activities. Wonderful staff and great kids clubs. A weekend stay or a solid week.

There are old structure very wet food as well as sea full of animation tar 0. Too bad coming from afar and see that the clean sea you have it at your house strongly discouraged

We enjoyed our holiday at Club Med Bintan. The village is full of wonderful staff and exciting facilities. The room are clean and comfortable. We are very Thankful that we had made the right choice!:) we hope to be back again soon!

Friendly staff, great place to be, the 5 days flew by in a blink... food wise not super fantastic, but lots of food choices, enough to satisfy most...

Best-kept secret getaway that is only one hour's ferry from Singapore

I don't know what was done,, but taxi can pick up you at lobby when you are want to go tour out side..
You have to walking to security post to get the car, you can imagine if you bring you own big baggage..

The first Club Med experience for me and my family... certainly we were full of expectations after hearing so much about club Med. It was a bit of let-down because:
1) reception: I wasn t sure why we didn t really have a dedicated GO. We didn t know what G.Os were about until we look up from the internet. We saw GOs dine with some families, but we didn t have much interaction with any through our stay.
2) room: more like a three-star budget hotel. The toilet area and the shower area are separate, which is not a bad idea. The shower area needs improvements for sure. Lights are so dimmed, which is rather dangerous if if you are with the little ones. The show door swings and bangs, making disturbing noises that scared my little one. The shower head also needs some tighter screws so it doesn t swing on the floor after turning the tap on. The beds are terrible!!!! Two single beds are put together despite different heights! One of the beds inclined to one side. TVs come with super blurred pictures...
3) Food: variety is there but not with quality. There s hardly anything healthy for the little ones. Kids station are full of fries, burgers and nuggets. I am so Glad I only stayed for two nights as we were very sick of the buffet food after one day. Similar dishes were repeated too often. Hygiene is also my concern as there were flies at food stations for every meal during our stay.
4) Activities: plenty but not when you happen to go on a raining day. We were sooo board when it was raining. The lobbies were crowded, and the indoor facilities are simply not enough for the crowds of hundred. There was no aircon in most places. It wasn t a comfortable place to be at when the humidity is so high and you are trapped in a resort with nothing to do... don t even think of the sports center all the way on the hill which requires many steps uphill. Equipments are full of disgusting sweat smells that are difficult to remove after several hand wash. Well, the gym is the only place with decent air con though.
no second time, period.

Club Med Bintan Island is a bit of an oddity.
The location is great. The beach is secluded and good, but not fantastic. The in-resort activities are good but there are timing/availability issues, and some quite odd-ball ones too. e.g. Circus stuff.
The food was hit-and-miss. The restaurant(s) suffer from trying to be too fancy and offering too much choice & variety. It's understandable given the wide range of nationalities that visit the place, but if they scaled back the attempted fanciness and went back to plainer basics, it would be better. e.g. Desserts trying to have too many flavours at once. Sometimes simpler/more classic is better.
That said, some meals/options they offered were truly fantastic, this offset some of the more "Meh!" or too weird combinations/creations.
The main dinning area offers: basic Italian, a hot meat dish (e.g. roasts etc), Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indonesian, Indian, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Desserts, and Ice Cream stations/areas.
Their a la carte restaurant (The Terrace) was good food but too limited in options. i.e. A choice from two options per course or 4 courses.

The bars were also a bit hit-and-miss. Some served strong drinks (the main bar) while the others seemed very watery. Some of their more unusual cocktails were great, and some of more standard ones were very ho-hum. e.g. How earth do you repeatedly make bad/poor Pina Coladas at a beach resort?! Coffee was also a tragedy until we discovered the self-serve limited-time Nespresso offering near the main bar. Until then, we used our own coffee we brought in.

The rooms are a bit dated but totally fine, especially as you won't be in them much. The beds are a bit hard but acceptable. The A/C was great. The room we were in was quite but a bit of a hike from the main area.

The staff on the other hand are absolutely top-notch, and super friendly. Perhaps over-friendly at times. They remember what you like and want, and go out of their way to may your stay pleasant and as perfect as possible.

As it is an all-included style resort I found the up-sell pushing for them to make more money a bit off putting. It's blatant but completely avoidable and ignore-able. It'd be nicer if it was more discrete.

My wife took advantage of the Spa services (additional costs obviously) and loved it. Note: They offer specials/packages, take advantage of them, otherwise it's quite costly.

We spent a week there in May 2019, and enjoyed it. Yes, we'd go again. I'd recommend the place if you don't have to travel too far or haven't been to many other beach resorts. If it was closer, we'd visit it more often/again. If you have to travel a long long way, there are probably better value options for you closer to home. However, being local to Singapore make it fairly easy to get to from almost anywhere in the world.
We didn't have kids with us, so I can't speak for the child services but parents seemed happy from what I could see.

Great place for a weekend get away. The room is clean and well maintained. Environment is gorgeous, not to mention the spa which is like walking into another world. The service is top as well. Only down side was the lack of maintenance for some equipment such as the flying trapeze, karaoke and pool table which were in appalling condition.

Hidden paradise filled with beautiful people, and amazing GO, specifically Soy & Vernon at reception, and Hera with the most amazing voice and super friendly disposition. The food is great - well done to Morne - and activities are awesome.
