Called three separate times, waited on hold 20 plus minutes each time. Once my number was up someone picked the phone up said nothing and hung the phone up.

Terrible, awful. Make sure you have a lawer when you got do fight a traffic ticket because they gonna make you pay.

Needed some documents from prior years about a utility assessment. The staff was very helpful and directed me to the Clerk of the Court who had the information, and also was very helpful and find the information..

Received documents and promptly cashed check but never cleared traffic record. The clerk and comptroller office failed to forward receipts of completed requirements to an out of state DVM, resulting in a license suspension. After confirming that the correct documents are received and filed correctly, an employee insisted I call the FL DVM, after both the FL and NC DMV directed me to the clerk. Employees appear to not understand what the process is and are providing false directions. No responsibility or help given. Terribly irresponsible office. A 0 between 1-10.

Hours are appropriate and many services online but clerks will transfer you to another county department if you're not specific about your question.

We went there for our marriage license and also to marry. It was a wonderful process the awesome staff helped from start to finish. They were so warm and friendly making our special day even better.

Your mission statement is integrity professionalism courtesy and respect, I am so tired of going to the court house and the law enforcement treats you like your a criminal. The way they talk to people is uncalled for. If they don't like being there they need to be placed elsewhere. I'm a law abiding citizen and they don't know whats going on in people's lives or they don't know who I am. They need training to learn how to treat people with respect. Just because they are in uniform doesn't give them the right not to be courtes. It is the same in Stuart court house also.

Parking is free, if you are serving as a juror, and the staff is nice and friendly. What a difference from NYC.

She answered all my questions Professionally..Now I was told on in 2 days I would be getting an email with a code to go to on ZOOM next week.It is Friday I CALLEDto see WHY I didn't get my email with code No one is working phones..Clearly my case is coming up and no way to get on my zoom hearing..Take Note Today is 6-19-20 If I miss my court hearing it is courts clerks office NOT MINE...

These people are not capable of doing anything to help people. For 10 months I made payments had court dates and missed many days of work all with the idea that I could get my drivers license back after two more payments. The supervisor worked with the entire time until yesterday when a different employee informed my I was a habitual traffic offender and I couldn t get my DL for 5 years! The supervisor then said she didn t know me and she never worked on it with me!! They are a disappointment as an office, my thanks to the one honest employee there! Wish I got her 10 months countless missed work days and court dates ago!! USE A DIFFERENT OFFICE!!

I worked at the Delray Beach location. If you're thinking about getting a job here RUN!! Management are bullies! The environment is very militant. They will write you up and fire you for being one minute late or for the most pettitest of things. People stay because they don't want to lose benefits and pension. Worse job I ever had!!

This entire palm beach clerk system is robbery all the money they get from traffic ticket a lot of areas around the county still trash fix up lake worth I live in Coral Springs they got me making payments on a $600 ticket cause I lost control of my car I can t even make payments through the phone cause there going to charge me even more of my hard earned money

Rude as hell, worst service ever. They make it impossible for you to pay citations if you have a job. They are of no service. Honestly computers would offer better assiatnce and save tax payers money so we wpuldnt have to pay them to be incompetent.

We went to receive a marriage license. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were out in 30 mins even on lunch hour.

Impossible to get through on the phone number or any response se from email.

It was cold but definitely worth showing up! Only by the grace of God, case was dismissed.

So it seems if you call a quarter till 3 and wait on the phone for 30 mins when it gets close to your number it hangs up. Called back again, now the number supposedly is out of service...what the heck. Their not even closed it's only 3:30pm ?! ...in this wonderful world we live in today it seems the ones who work for government owed agencies have the worst customer service by far. Post office, clerk of court, DMV, and many others. I get better service going to Target. It truly shocks me everything.

I am a paralegal for 21years and working with Palm Beach County is the worst. I am trying to get to speak to a live person regarding an entry on the docket, the attorney did not get any letter or notification and we wanted to find out why the Order mailed to the Judge was not yet signed (is it lost or something else) so we can close this file. Every time I call I stay on the phone queue for 30 to 40 minutes is a nightmare. Today I was on hold today for the Probate Clerk for 20 minutes, after waiting patiently for my turn, your clerk disconnected me on the phone (either by mistake or for some other reason). I am located in Sarasota County, who is so efficient.

I 'm from out of state and received a citation for a minor incident due to a slight misunderstanding of a sign. Because i didn't have the time to return to contest it, I sent payment with a letter of appeal to the judge.I did not have the courtesy of a reply but saw the check promptly cashed. Subsequently I kept receiving letters from an attorney demanding payment, and even threatening cancellation of my drivers license even though I sent them proof of payment. I wrote to them to clarify and still didn't receive the courtesy of a reply. I tried calling their office and timed out after being placed on hold for an extended length of time. This looks like typical government people taking advantage of decent law abiding citizens. I now find myself having to spend a lot of time to defend my innocence. Evidently these people do not understand their role in "serving" the public. I wish someone would investigate this type of inefficiency and undue inconvenience to senior citizens.

They open at 8am yet they dont answer the phones at 8am

I have been trying to speak with someone there for 6 days now...i have waited for someone to answer the phone for over an 1 hour several times each day and nobody ever answers. Severely dissapointed.

This is sad google. You and the palm beach clerk of court can't get on the same page.

What is the major malfunction here?... You people dont provide a product or a service!... You take money from people and cant even do that without a major inconvenience to the tax payer!... Just paid a ticket through your website and was charged 3 times the amount. I could barely afford the ridiculous ticket of driving in the HOV lane $166?...Now they have cleaned my whole bank account out?... I dont understand how a major Florida county cant get it together?... Maybe its the Clerk of Courts fault?... Literally i have used my card with shaky food trucks and small vendors using laptops and never had a problem like this?...

I logged onto the website to pay for my traffic citation and the system that it was paid for, which I thought was odd. I checked with my lawyer to see if it was paid, and it showed that it was paid online with a receipt number. 6 Months later I get a letter from collections and my license is suspended. The receptionist at the comptroller was very rude and overall Palm Beach County needs to fix their website and hire new workers that care about their job. This place sucks!!!

All court of clerks should be connected. They should Not make some anyone drive 2 hours for a minor ticket.

Lendy s is the clerk I spoke to who was extremely condescending and rude. As soon as she picked up the phone and I started explaining my situation she started laughing. She then went on to berate me. She was ABSOLUTELY no help. Waste of time. Palm beach county please do better. Especially when you are a law abiding citizen who is trying to get answers to pay off your FIRST PARKING TICKET.

Extremely unpleasant experience.
I applied for new passport documents for my child. After one and a half hours of waiting in line, they refused to accept documents due to the dull ink on the money order. I had to write them a check, because they do not accept payment art and cash.
I handed over the old passport and all applications to the operator.
After 6 weeks from the date of application, I received an answer that I did not provide all the documents for registration. They also suggested filling out a form that lost them. It turned out that they simply forgot to send.

No Comment I'm just go do the right thing and report to B.B.B.

They have the worst family and civil judges.. From past experience these people are by far the worst to serve. It is almost like they intentionally do things to make it harder specially when children are involved. Hopefully they all retire soon.

It's an odd place. The building and services are modern. Counter clerks are polite enough. Security is provided. Outside of that, the court enables scams to continue.

Assistants not very helpful in dealing with lay constituents who are not attorneys either, not even to give someone simple directions to help them resolve their situation. Took more time to argue the point that they were not an attorney rather than to simply say send the defendant a copy of same letter requested by the judge, which could have been said when the directive to write the judge was given or said when contacted to make sure that the letter requested was received. Especially when it was known that the judge would not even read the letter of explanation unless this protocol of making sure the defendant was aware that the letter had been sent to the judge was CC d a copy. Simple directions that could have saved my husband, who is fighting cancer and MS, time, angst, and frustration.

Awful marriage license department. Rude, scraggly, and frumpy looking. How do you show up for work with that attitude and demeanor? Run combs through your hair and respect people that are getting married.

Never ending wait times. Condescending and unprofessional. Just.. horrible.

My son is about done with probation. He attempted to pay the fine, however, it was already sent to collections. Even though he is on time he is being charged a 40% Mark Up. What a scam. I have decided to find out who is getting paid for this and I I will report this to a higher law enforcement agency. Someone is ripping off the citizens of Florida and Ms. Brock, I will find out.

I was assisted by the sweetest woman in the Clerk and comptroller's office today, and I have to say I am impressed with the level of service she gave me. Not everyone at the courthouse is this nice, but they are not ALL as bad as the reviews claim. Just pray that when you call you get a nice person, and remember that your own attitude plays a huge role in how the person on the other end of the phone responds.

My license had been automatically suspended due to the computer showing late payment of a fine that I actually mailed in on time. However, due to Hurricane Irma the payment wasn t actually posted until 10 days after the due date. I called the Palm Beach clerk of court office at 8:15 this morning. I waited less than 5 minutes on hold before speaking to a person. She said I needed to pay the fine then go to the DMV to have my license reinstated. I asked if she could speak to her manager about my situation given that the problem was due to the hurricane. I was on hold about 10 minutes while she did this. When she returned, she said they had waived my fine and updated my information in the computer but that I would still need to go to the DMV to have my license reinstated. However, when I called the DMV, my license was already valid again so whatever this manager did saved me a lot of time and hassle trying to explain my situation again to the DMV. I am very happy with the Palm Beach clerk of court and sincerely thank them for their help.

I am very upset! Received a letter stating my driver license is being suspended due to not paying a traffic fine! I sent in all the documentation and copies of license insurance card and registration and money order on Aug 28! The cashed the money order for both tickets and now I'm fined for not producing registration even tho I did?? What do I do?? This is incompetence on the mail room or who ever handles the tickets that come into the office!! I called waited 30 mins or longer twice well I was going up on finally get someone they can not do anything! Finally get a call I missed it and leaves message I owe 129 plus late fees and so on!! Can someone please tell me how to take this further or who to call about this matter??

It is truly frustrating how difficult it is to get cooperation or accurate information here. I have been trying to speak with someone via phone for WEEKS (because not everyone is privileged enough to have time off work) and haven't been able to speak with ONE PERSON. This is despicable. and EXTREMELY inconvenient. Its almost hard to believe there is absolutely no way to receive help other than to miss a half or full day's work.
