Gabriel was able to handle my concerns promptly and efficiently. He was even able to offer me a lower supplier rate than I had anticipated. I am comfortable using Clearview Energy because they are 100% green. Given a choice going green or burning carbon based fuels, for me, is a no brainer. I would recommend Clearview Energy for their rates, helpful staff and for a cleaner environment.

The lady I talked to was helpful in explaining my energy plan and this made me happy with the service. Like any other Energy company the plan you buy will decide how much you pay and how you pay it.
I tried calling this company to let them know of a group of their workers that I encountered in Crofton, Maryland. The workers where very rude and acting up in the Royal Farm store, pants down to their knees, throwing trash all over the ground even though there were trash cans right next to them, I asked them to pick up the trash and was then cussed out. I tried to get a tag number put it was a temporary paper plate that was folded up so you could not get the number. Very unprofessional !!!!
I just had one of your "agents" at my front door banging on it like he was serving a search warrant. Not only was this extremely startling, but he was yelling my address out loud as if that would made him seem anymore legitimate. When I finally answered the door, I was met by a disheveled man wearing a skull cap in dirty, wrinkled pants. He flashed some ID badge in my face and I promptly closed the door telling him to go away.
Mazen Fataryi, hepled me with my problem with Clearview energy, on the 23rd of this month. He was very polite, knew how to handle the situation with utmost respect and efficient. He had the problem fixed, before I knew it. Helped me so much, that it was a worry I did not have to deal with anymore.
Had a few good recent phone conversations on the enrollment for electricity services. Representatives were knowledgeable, polite, efficient and helpful to provide info I needed. Happy to have signed up for the green energy at lower pricing.

Very bad energy supplier. Much expensive than standard Ameren Illinois. Also, they have cancellation fee of $100. Please, do not get caught by their false statements. Free cheese is only in a mouse trap.
It's the worst I do not recommend to anyone very bad customer service. After canceling my service I keep coming invoices and the answer they give me about it is that if my call is recorded that cancels but that the city did not receive the order I do not worry and do not pay that they are investigating after 10 calls as average They convinced me that I would get a letter with a new billing and to my surprise the letter I received was from the credit bureau
I ve been with Clearview for 1 year. I'm sign up with Clearview for another 6 month for a competitive rate. Clearview has done a great job for my signing up. Everything has been going well during the service from Clearview.
Just renewed for a 2nd year with Clearview. Right now the rate is $.0729 - the lowest 100% green out there. In fact, companies that were only offering 30% green were priced higher. We only use companies that are 100% green. To date, Clearview has been solid - no complaints. The customer service agent, Avery, was very helpful.
Just switched to Clearview Energy. It was easy to communicate with Mazen Fatayri and he was very helpful in following up on the transfer of 2 accounts. Will be switching one more account soon. I like that a tree will be planted for posting this review!

I am new to Clearview Energy but their competitive pricing and green energy led to my decision to change suppliers. Unfortunately when I filled out the let me application I mistakenly left out some pertinent information. Mazen got in touch with me right away and in a very friendly manner, alerted me to the precise information that I needed to provide and where I could find it on my bill. I responded with the information and in less than 24 hours Mazen was back in touch with me to let me know that my application was successfully processed and she welcomed me to the Clearview Energy Family! It's hard to find excellent customer service these days so it was such a pleasure to work with Mazen on my application process. This company took my bill from $58 to $96. When asked why she stated I used more...how? I do the exact same thing every month since I now know how Texas electricity work. I'm gone from 5am to 10pm...really $30 in what???? Lights off, bill paid. No past due and no one to get in contact with. Get home to a hot house with my 6 year old and a freaking puppy at 1030pm and the lights are off...all Oncor could tell me was that they get complaints from this company constantly through out the day because no one can ever reach them and that I could only wait until the company was in before I could get in touch with them to turn my lights on! One pissed off mommy. Will never give them a dime again!

I haven't experienced a billing issue since I will have canceled my account within the day. However, this place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, the representatives could not be less friendly or dryer than the ones at Clearview. The solicitor lied to my face saying they were associated with ameren (the company I currently use). Since I am a naive college student, I provided them some of my MINOR account information thinking I was updating my current account. I didn't realize their falsehoods until I did some research. The man who came to my door was friendly enough, and then an hour later he and another man come to my door again offering the exact same services. He actually forgot he had already disturbed me in my own home which tells you a thing or two about the shadiness and inconsiderate nature of this company. He also became quite hostile when I alerted him I was canceling my "account" (makes sense, but still rude). Don't let them prey on you, they are doing frequent soliciting sweeps so just dismiss them or call 911 if they continue to harass you.
It took a little effort to sign up with them but after a few calls and with the help of Mazen, he was able to sign me up. Now I have to wait for it to take effect and see how my 12 month contract works.
I signed up for this green energy company to lower my electric cost. There was a problem wit getting it transferred over when a nice Men by the name of Maizen got a hold of me to correct the problem, he got it resolved fast and impressed me with his passion of excellent customer service. I am new to this green energy business that everybody talks about, but now I have to tell everyone about how wonderful Maizen and how great he was besides green energy savings. I got a low rate and amazing service all thanks to Maizen!!
these people are the worst of all. the bills go up every month like crazy and they take an hour sometimes to pay your bill over the phone. I am so done with them. They pick your calls after hours and put you back in hold again.
I got an introductory rate of around 9 cents. ( and they planted a tree) I loved that! I knew it was an introductory rate and it might go up.But my electric was through the roof.I called Eversource and it had gone up to 22 cents. I was so frustrated with a more than double hike. Pay attention. I cancelled with them and will never do business with them again. I am back to around 9 with a cap on how high it can jump.
I have never got a cheaper bill before signing up with clearview. I usually used to get around 80-100 even during winter i was shocked but since i sign up with clearview my bill has lowered tremendously nown i get around 34-40 which is unexpected i would really recommend clearview energy and im located in Illinois which is like expensive place so if you wanna save money just sign up with clearview.

They are fraud. They lied and said they are from BGE and there is some change and software update and ask for your utility bill and take information from it and then switch supplier. awful customer service.
A salesman just came to my door and said that he was a field representative associated with my supplier. He couldn't name my supplier and asked for my bill. His approach is full of deception. I suggest this company research the laws on private property. This is a privately owned housing subdivision. The signs clearly say no trespassing and no solicitation at every entrance. This is to protect us. This individual had no ID besides a card with a name and no picture. He claimed to have a permit for "the entire area." No permit was shown as we do not issue them. I suggest you all avoid these scam artists and turn them away while calling the local police.

I have a one bedroom apartment and my bill is always 330 not less my bill has never been low try to send center point several times so they can see my meter never showed up......i work Monday thru Saturday no one is home all day......this is too much and they are over charging me and mi bill never gets on time when it suppose to......do not recommend it.....

Chandler did the verification part efficiently. Hopefully, we are good to go!!
I recently signed up online for my commercial account. The Website questions seems to be more tailored for residential and my data was entered incorrectly delaying the start up for 3 months. Mazen helped me through it and Clearview reimbursed me for my added expense. I can't say enough how much help Mazen was. He is awesome and I would HIGHLY recommend him & Clearview.

I am a current Austin, TX customer and am happy with the service. Support took my credit card payment over the phone, with no upcharge, when I received my replacement card. Also, I recently switched apartments and had no issues transferring accounts or on/off times at the apartments. Happy customer here.
There was a problem identifying my account on the old system. Mazen e-mailed me to ask for information. Luckily, I was online at the time and could respond with the required information quickly. Mazon not only e-mailed me back, he personally called me to thank me for my quick response.
Zero stars not low enough... "you #1 in the queue, expected wait time 1 minute." after about 15 minutes phone started to ring though. auto-answered "you are #2 in the queue, expected wait time 1 minute." 45 minutes later I hung up.
I have been very happy with Clearview Energy. They are fast, efficient, and have excellent prices on residential service. Sam, the rep I spoke with today about renewal, helped me with calculations to figure out which plan would work best for me. He took his time and didn't make me feel rushed or pushed in any way. I plan to stay with them for as long as I can!
Clearview energy has the worst customer service around! At first they were cool but After a recent move it seems that we have nothing but problems. Being billed for a whole 2 weeks (for the old address) after we had already moved out. I went ahead and paid that cause sometimes you have to pick your battles.
Now (at the new house) My payment was taken by an unrestrained employee & consequently he didn't complete the payment process in time. So my funds have been deducted from my account but because Clearview energy never completed the process (claiming they weren't paid) my lights have been disconnected. Now they are insisting I pay another $247 to reconnect my lights while my original payments sits pending (AND ALREADY DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT) waiting on them to accept. Yet Clearview energy acts like they are the one who is being inconvenienced even after emailing them proof from the bank!
While I understand having to use a third party company for services sometimes but DO NOT USE CLEARVIEW ENERGY!
8/28 UPDATE Customer service still as horrible as ever! After all the drama of an agent posting my payment to an old account I haven't received a bill this month. Agents treating customers like a number and don't take time to read notes in your file already. Very mechanical and scripted with no real intention of helping the customer. You have to ask to speak with a manager just to be able to get the slightest customer service.
This company have the most unprofessional customer service ever. They are liars even the department manager is a liar and I will be switching my services to another provider who is more caring. The rep Mavis or whatever his name is a coward because I'm sure he wouldn't talk smack if he wasn't in a call center. I doubt he would be rude to a customer in person. Worst ever and I wouldn't recommend them to any of my family or friends. I guess that's why they have Direct Energy and TXU Electric.
I had to contact customer service for a question about my account and I had the good fortune to speak with Mazen. He was very helpful and pleasant and was able to quickly help me. I recommend Clearview Energy
Biles do not arrive to me and they always tell me that if they send them and nothing ever arrives and I have to pay surcharges they do not help at all, the service is very bad and the payment date was 11 and then the 9 and now that the 6 and one he doesn't know when to pay because they don't arrive billes
I wish I could give less then 1 star. They charged me a rate and then they say they mailed me a renewal contract. As I did not respond to that contract, which I never saw (they did not email or call), they then started charging me DOUBLE the market rate and have been doing that for the past 2 years. Shame on me for not paying attention to my bill more closely but what a total SCAM. DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH THEM. Any lawyers out there, this should be a pretty easy/quick class action lawsuit.
Terrible company, terrible SERVICE, a rep. named SHANE called my house & was very rude to my grandmother solely because she didn't speak English. She answered the phone with "hello", then proceeded to respond to him after he spoke with "I don't speak English" , & "one moment" .... she knows how to tell them to hold, with 'one moment', & proceeded to call for me. The phone was on speaker so I heard his snotty comment, "Well..well maybe not answering the phone with 'hello' is a good idea" he said as he stuttered a bit. IMO that's very rude, & unprofessional. Want other peoples business, then don't tell them how or how they shouldn't answer the phone. She didn't say anything rude to you. ALSO, I see reviews from individuals such as a 'Frank McGovern' ... if you google that, it shows said name to be an associate of the company, conflict of interests much?
If I could rate them lower than one star I would. Had a woman come to my door with high pressure sales and when I changed my mind in the middle she got all snippy and copped an attitude and said that she was wasting her time with me and that she was working on commission. I would not use a company that cares more about their commission than their customer service.

CALLED BACK AGAIN AND GOT TOLD IT WOULD BE ON WITHIN 2 HOURS. I AM STILL WITHOUT POWER RIGHT NOW. WORST EVER. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLY. THEY DO NOT CARE. AND WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. RUN AND REPORT TO THE BBB.
I worked with Mazen Fatayri today and he was extremely professional and easy to work with. I had Clearview Energy as my generation supplier and my contract period was coming to an end. " I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY " They said they going to charge you .10 c kw but they charge you $74 extra for delivery and $14.95 base charge, at the end of the month the you pay .20 kw with this company be ready to pay $ 300 a month
Annabelle was very helpful in explaining my contract notice and what to do in advance of expiration to lock in the best rates for the next period. Clearview has been the least costly supplier in the Chicago area for the past 3-4 years and great to know it is from 100% hydroelectric sources.
Loved the cooperative business model; never had to question if the company cared about its employees (and their families), customers or members. The health benefits and work/life balance are phenomenal! There's a lot of cross-functional collaboration across the organization and individuals are provided the tools they need to succeed. Employees at all levels of the organization are part of decision making processes--sometimes almost to a fault.
SCAM. DO NOT USE. These people shut off my power by mistake, then cancelled my account, and when I asked for them to reconnect - they told me my power would cost double what it cost originally. SCAM - horrible customer service.
I applied for Clearview online and there was a problem with my application. I did not know about the problem until a Technician Mazen notified me, he was very helpful, polite and fixed evreything for me. Thank you Mazen for your assistance!
Chose them for a year and all was good. After a year I got a renewal letter that made me think my old fixed rate would continue another year. Letter showed rate I had been paying for the last year. All seemed good except I got sucked in to a variable rate plan that is 30% higher than my old fixed rate. They deserve a 0 star rating.
There was a bit of confusion caused by an uninvited third party trying to hijack my account. Mercedes was great in sorting it out and I'm sure that the issue's been resolved.
They get a 1 because ZERO is not an option. Allowing people to sit on hold when they're closed, posting payments with the incorrect time stamp, not sending the bill, interrupting service for amounts not yet due, higher bills than should be, rude reps that happily lie and give you the run around are NO way to conduct business Clearview Energy. I can't wait for them to open so I can cancel this service!
I signed up with them to stop being gouged by my local electric company. There was an issue with said company and they didn't allow the hook up immediately. I worked specifically with Mazen and he kept me up to date on the progress via email and phone and was an absolute professional. He pushed them to get me set up before my next billing cycle.
I spoke with Mercedes this morning about the Reward Program as I was unable to log in. She explained to me how to register and it sounded easy. When I went to register it still did not allow me access so I have been in touch again for more information. Hopefully this will be resolved shortly.
Zero stars Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! My bill last month was 133 This month 368!!!!!!!!!! I will be discontinuing services with them IMMEDIATELY! This is not the first time they have fluctuated the monthly charges on me and me and my family are rarely home during the day to even pull electricity resulting in a 300 dollar bill!!!!! Rip offs and scams!!!!! Do not recommend for anyone!
Doubled my rate without notification. Their not regulated so stay away. They start off with a low rate then double it when agreement expires. Unless you want to be calling your Attorney General office - please stay away.
I have been using Clearview for 3 years and appreciate the green energy electricity at very competitive pricing. Recently, I called and Mazen was most helpful answering my questions regarding the best possible (for me) renewal program. My history of interaction with Clearview continues to be excellent.

I initially called to request my home and two business locations be switched over to Clearview. The rep who helped me was only able to help me with the residential side. There were several complications with switching over, including misidentifying my business account as a residential one. Mazen stayed in touch during the transition and fixed the rate so that it retroactively applied to my account. I was very impressed with the prompt service and communication and ultimately resolution to the issues we were having. Thanks Mazen!
These companies send representatives to your home and convince you they will provide a cheaper service. My advice is don't trust them and don't disclose your account information before doing some research ! There are too many examples where people are reluctant to say no and get deceived.
