I just had a similar experience that reviewer Trina described.
The door-to-door identified himself as being with Eversource, talked fast, and couldn't make eye contact with me.
He tried all he could think of to counter my disinterest and get in the door.
Our dog put an end to his persistence.
I immediately Googled the company and saw all the scam reports and immediately called the police where the dispatcher informed me there was already a cruiser in the area dealing with similar complaints.
So folks, heed these warnings. These are scamming attempts.
Slam the door and CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE!

I have been contacting various electricity providers in hopes of finding a better rate plan and have been very disappointed in the customer services from most of them but your employee by the name of Mason was by far the most helpful of any of them. He went above and beyond!

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do not sign up for Clearview! They will tell you your bill will decrease and you re saving energy then your bill will double! Terrible company!

Ruben did the job. Spoke to another rep previously and he kind of brushed me off saying the offer was only available online. I mistakenly gave the wrong email address. Called back a few days later to correct an error on my part and got the best rep Ruben. Accidentally hung up and was kicking myself when he called me back!! And then explained clearly what my options were. FANTASTIC service. The world would be a better place if companies and CSRs like Ruben were everywhere. Maybe there is hope for humanity...

Mazen was terrific in getting things done. If there was a number rating, I would give him all 10"s

Lies, lies, and more lies! I've never had such an expensive electric bill before. The rate they offered me has TRIPLED in less than four months. I only tried them because my local electric company has a pretty bad reputation. If I had stayed with the local company my bill would be less than 1/2 of what Clearview charges. I am absolutely furious and disgusted with all the lies and false sales promises.

We had a minor issue with our bill so I called and spoke with a Masen Fitari.
He was very helpful and was able to handle our issue without any added problems.

I was having issues with my online application to change my current electric provider to Clearview. Mazen reached out to me and assisted me in correcting the errors to complete my enrollment, Mazen was FANTASTIC and EFFICIENT . Mazen got it done quickly and provided me with TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE that i have not seen in decades, Mazen is one of a kind. I own a small business myself and always struggle to get good working stuff to work for me and if Mazen was living here locally in Connecticut, I will hire him to make me business more successful. STAY AWAY! This company is nothing but liars and cheats. Salesman straight lied to me about what their rates are, my bill nearly doubled after switching to Cleariew. When I canceled I was told that they were going to wave the $100 termination fee and I never got a bill for it - now almost 2 years later I have debt collectors calling me trying to collect the $100 for Clearview. Never had a bad or delinquent credit in my life until these a$$hats came along.

Oh recommend to everyone this is the most interesting thing ever, so people try it out I'm from the Illinois side had the best experience so cheap and so confident

The solicitors for this company will not stop coming by my residence, even though we've indicated that we have no interest. My husband told them to not cone back, yet the solicitor said that he did not care and since we live on a "city street" at our residence he would be back. Inspire solicitors did not act in this manner, they were respectful and that is the main reason we've chosen them as our supplier. Clearview will never get our business.

Guy showed up at my door, tried to convince me that I had to have this service switched over from my current provider. Got offended when I told him I wasn't interested.

Called and they said eight minute wait time. so I decided to hold. After twenty- five minutes lapsed with the same recording repeating every 20 seconds I went to hang up. As I did someone answered! I said it is nuts that you give a low ball estimate of wait time just to keep people on the line. He was nice but said they know about it. There are other companies that offer the same service. It would be a shame that another company will bite the dust due to poor customer service.

We've had Clearview as our 100% renewable energy supplier for more than a year. We're totally on board with their mission, and every time I've interacted with customer service, they've been helpful, friendly, and efficient.

We signed up with Clearview and there was a problem getting switched over. Mason got in touch with us via email letting us know what was needed to fix it and within a few days we were switched with no delays, I was impressed of how quickly he solved the problem, he is really knowledgeable. He kept us informed on the progress until all was set and done. Mason knows his stuff down to the wire, THANK YOUSO MUCH FOR TAKING CARE OF US MASON!!

Christina was very helpful and Clearview is the least expensive for my area.

Gabriel could not have been more helpful. He checked plans with a monthly fee as well as those without. When he could not give me a rate as low as my current rate he told me rates change, sometimes frequently, so I should check again by 2/8/21 which would still be before my current rate expired. He was polite and patient when answering my inquires. I will stay with Clearview, so I can have all green energy at reasonable rates. Thank you Clearview.

Terrible coustomer service.. Light Bills mailed Late & passes the date of payment due. Just bad all around service.

Glad to know Clearview Energy is a company that understands the importance of protecting our climate and the environment for future generations. By selecting a green energy plan we can all do our part.

This company worked with me when I needed more time to pay my bill, awesome company.

They pick up the telephone quickly, staff is highly knowledgeable and very polite. The rate is outstanding and it is green. If you take the 12 month plan, write on your calendar when it is time to renew; otherwise it rolls over to variable and that rate is much higher. If you plan, you will win with these folks.

8 robo calls a day to call you back really. Finally had a live rep call who got mad at me for telling to remove us from your list, we do not pay for our utilities its included in our rent. Very poor customer service and poor marketing with using a robo dialer to get around the do not call

Green Energy ! Excellent Customer Service ! Competitive Rates !

A man came to my door saying he was going to make sure I was on a fixed rate. Said he needed to see my Bill. I was taken back by this and said if your associated with my provider then you should have access to my bill. He started just repeating himself and when I said I would look into this he got frustrated walking off he said "okay man just trying to save you money"
Pushy attitude and acting like it's just a normal stop asking for my personal information.

I would give a negative number if it was a choice. I signed up for 12 month term and then forgot about it. Clearview never sent me notice that my contract was expiring but felt authorized to renew on their own at very high rate and continued to charge me outrageous fees for power until I questioned why bill was soooo high! If you sign up, make sure you pay attention to end date and current market rates with local provider. Someone has to make money, less is not always cheaper in the end.

Scam. Clearview offers a good introductory rate (for me it was 6 cents vs 5 cents for local utility supply) and good feels about clean energy. But then allegedly they sent a renewal letter after which, because we failed to reply, they signed us up for variable rates. We don't remember seeing this letter. We have no emails from them since 2016 (we signed up in 2015, it is now 2020). So clearly they did not try that hard to communicate to us that they were about to take twice as much of our money. Since then they've steadily increased rates and now charge us 14 cents. FOURTEEN. Twice as much. My coworker paid $100 for July on local utility supply with similar kWh usage. Me? $256. DO NOT USE CLEARVIEW! THIEVES!

Had a problem which was taken care of without any hesitation . Went oven what we were doing and got it all straightened out. Will continue to use them ..

Mazen was very helpful and emailed me fairly quickly that my application had been rejected because i hadn't used the customer key name.

Mazen was wonderful as our Clearview representative. He helped solve a problem with our utility company and got us signed on to a great rate for 100% renewable electricity. Since we are totally electric, our new rate is saving us a substantial amount of money. The fact that we can get this savings through renewable sources makes even more sense. Thanks Mazen. Didn't understand the rewards offered by Clearview and Adriana was great at explaining them to me. Which tells me they will aid in any questions I may have.

Teenager came to my door with no mask claiming to be from Eversource wanting to "update my account number". Company should be terminated for lack of PPE and lying.

I had applied to join Clearview Energy in Oct. of 2020 and because of a glitch in the system I was never connected.
Mazen reached out to me in early Mar.2021 explaining what had happened and offering to connect me at the same previous rate. I am grateful for his help and look forward to being with this company as my supplier!

Sam was the most efficient rep that I have spoken to in a long time, not only was he very personable, he also was so very helpful with all the questions I had , he also made quite a few suggestions. which helped me. if Sam is any indication of the way your company is run I'll be in it for the long run. They have scammed my boyfriend and I by saying it was with eversource. Now we are just college students just trying to make it by in general, we don't need this on our backs. 2 people came on a Saturday MORNING and my boyfriend refused to show our electric bill to them. But for some reason he still ended up signing up for it. After reading all the scam reviews we are FURIOUS. They give us a "3 day grace period" and it's a Saturday so we have to wait till Monday which is three days. This company is just all around sketchy. Please be smarter than us and read this before switching.

I have been using Clearview for 2 years and appreciate the green energy electricity at very competitive pricing.
Recently, I called and Ruben was very helpful answering my questions regarding their renewal program.
It has always been a pleasure to be a Clearview customer.
Just wish they will pick the phone up a little bit quicker.

OK Company with great prices. Like most complaining here, you need to stay on top of when your contract expires so that you can update or they will jack up the price on the monthly rate. Just like the cable companies. Long waits on the phone as well but everyone i talked to is very nice an helpful.

I've had some bad service before but nothing like Clearview. They had switched my supply over even after I had cancelled within the 3 day grace period that was offered. Mistake #1...ignoring the original cancellation even before the account was in effect. #2 Had to call again nearly a month after when I received my electrical bill and a contract from them in the mail which I had to pay. Which brings me to today #3 which once again they are on my bill. I am DONE. This wasn't even a service I had authorized to continue with originally and now they have been on two of my bills. I can not begin to express the frustration I have and absolute lack of responsibility they have taken. Will NEVER recommend there services.

I have been with Clearview for a few years now, and very happy with the customer service this company offers. I spoke with Adriana today, and asked some questions about my upcoming rate increase upon renewal. I explained the difference between the rate offered and the rate I found online for the same term, and she looked into it immediately and honored the lower rate with the same terms. She was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and patient.

I love the fact that my brother Mazen Fatayri works for Clearview Energy which is 100% Green and Pollution Free. This is so great for the next generation as an option for renewal clean Energy at lower cost to consumers. Mazen is so proud and passionate about it, specially when he tells family, friends and neighbors. I don't get the receipt and they charge me more every month

I had to give $80 for deposit, they promise that this would be refunded.
I cancel my service about 5 months ago, this happened because when I tried to transfer the contract to my new apartment they did not have service in the area.
Until the moment they just keep bringing excuses about the refund of my money.

LIARS!! A representative came to my house to tell me about their company. When I mentioned I already had an energy supplier, she explained it was the same company and had recently changed their name, and they just needed to go over the information. Also, she mentioned that there were no cancellation fees. Overall, it was NOT the same company, and there WAS a cancellation fee, which I found out when I canceled after I discovered her lies. How can I trust a company who gets their customers with lies?!

Christina made the process easy and Robert verified everything. By calling I was able to beat the Constellation rate and for 12 months with no termination fee.

Very easy to get through to a person. Adriana was very helpful. I love that this energy has competive rates, no fees, 6 or 12 month plans, and best of all, is entirely green. Keep the options coming!

I ve been with Clearview for about 2 years. I renewed on 1/11 for a competitive rate. Spoke with Mercedes who was informative and very pleasant. Well, 2 days ago , I received a card saying I switched. I called them and again got to speak with Mercedes. She said someone must have hacked into my account and switched me to someone else and it happens all the time. I m a little concerned about this and what my rate and bill will reflect. I again verified my info and signed on for 6 more months with Clearview. Hopefully this issue won t become a nightmare.

Had a problem with the electrical company completing my transfer to Clearview. Mazen was great and persevered in getting this accomplished during both a pandemic and cold weather crisis in Texas. Bravo!

Mercedes was excellent. She answered all my questions. I hope my bill reflects the contract I signed up for. CT takes 2 months before a new contract is activate. Another screw job from CT, so it seems.

The lack of account information on Clearview s website isn t optimal but their customer service representatives are always helpful and the rates are very competitive.

if i could rate this 0 stars i would. they WAY over charged me for electricity i rarely used! when i called to cancel i was passed from person to person and had received attitude! when i requested my electricity be cut off the next day they cut it off 2 HOURS LATER!! now i've gone through the night with no AC and my food in my fridge got nasty. will NEVER use this company and DEFINITELY NEVER recommend them to anyone!!
