I love this hotel and have stayed several times. It's modern and stylish and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is good. I enjoy the walks along River Liffey. I recommend strongly this hotel.

i have a reservation with the hotel to celebrate my anniversary and choose Spencer hotel due to its location and reputation and was disapointed from what i actually heard
due to personal reason's i wanted to only amend my check out date as i have to leave earlier then expected , called the hotel and was surprised that they were unable to change my checkout date in order for them to grantee the payment .
Im an active traveler and hotel stayer , this was surprising that they rejected the idea and haven't even given an alternative solution
THANK YOU

Good.

Quite an unusual architecture; 1950s Soviet is about right, everything plain and without embellishments.
However the staff and the service they provided was totally unSoviet. They're so dedicated to caring for their guests you'll want for nothing.
This was my second visit and won't be my last.

I had chance to stay in Spencer Hotel while my trip to Dublin for Google Advertiser Summit. I really liked the hotel - rooms, staff, breakfast, room service and more. I liked everything about this hotel and enjoyed my stay.

Great Location, Service was pleasant but we were meant to check in at 3pm arrived after a show about 6.30pm and our room still wasn't ready bit of a joke. but the room itself was lovely and the balcony helped ease the pain of that 30min wait on the room

I've had a pretty comfortable number with everything needed, including alarm clock with USB charger and a few EU plugs. The service and breakfast were also quite good, so I'd stay here next time as well

Great hotel and very central. To be reached by bus shuttle from the airport within about 20 minutes (return ticket for 12 per person to buy) and right outside the door; The tram also only about 3 minutes walk away. Many breakfast and shopping options and pubs on the doorstep. The hotel is from 2001; It makes a very neat and fine, cozy impression, and the staff - from the front desk to the cleaning staff - is extremely friendly and helpful. Even the Health Club, which you may use as guests and is directly accessible by elevator, is very well equipped (you know from other hotels, where then only an old, broken ergometer dusty in the corner is) in both the dumbbell and Machine and endurance area. Here I will want to live with my partner again and again when we are in Dublin!

Very nice boutique hotel with very helpful front desk people. Rooms a bit on the small size.
The continental breakfast was by far the best I have ever seen, and offers a huge selection of fruits, meats hot and cold, and was very impressed that everyone on the staff was on hand during busy time at breakfast. They did a great job!
The Japanese restaurant was ok and even though I had asked for no mushrooms my dish did have them. Only had lunch.
Laundry service was excellent even though I had to call to inquire where my order was. Very close to Luas stop.

Lovely hotel, great location overlooking the river. Just around the corner from the bus station which was really handy for my overnight stay from Belfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful..couldn't fault their customer service. All in all a great experience. I will definitely return, hopefully for longer next time :)

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel.
Location not bad, several restaurants around and possibility to take a walk along the river. Noisy though.

Room: basic but clean. Traditional irish experience i.e. small bed with rock hard pillows. Can open a small window to get fresh air. Desk small and not particularly comfortable for work.

Breakfast: ok. Could get an overcooked omelette, fruits are good though sometimes poorly sliced.

We had a meeting room too. Lunch served was awful but otherwise ok.

Bottom line: not a horrible experience but nothing that would make me want to pick this property for my next stay.

Booked a room, had a reservation and confirmation. When we arrived they let us know they overbooked and they had no rooms left. They also did this to another couple traveling with us. I wouldn t reccommend to anyone .

Booked here for one night stay on Sat 11th Feb 2017 with my Wife. I booked the Deluxe King Room and breakfast was included (in the 269 rate). This was our first time staying at the hotel as usually we stay in another very popular 5 star hotel in Dublin City Centre. We wanted to experience a different hotel for this trip-how wrong were we!!
On arrival to our room (after a trek outside from the underground car park that costs 18 to the actual hotel) which I would describe as "average" we left and spent the afternoon in the City.
We returned to the Hotel at 530pm and decided to enjoy a cocktail from the hotel bar. 20mins later the drinks arrived from a bar that was very quiet after having needed to order twice!!
The biggest disappointment was breakfast on Sunday morning.....I think "cattle market" is the most appropriate description. Lack of staff no clean tables and requests for both orange justice and hot food wasn't a great experience. 10am at the weekend surely the hotel should realise this is a peak time for people eating breakfast?? Obviously not.....
In summary a very overpriced average Hotel trying to be something that it never will be in Dublin. Would not reccomend and certainly will never stay here again.

Stopped here for a meal and drinks before a concert in the 3 Arena..... food and drink were fine but service is awful with sullen waiting staff and long long wait for drinks with no one even providing apologies for long wait. Had to enquire 4 times for drinks....... and it wasn't even that busy!!!!! Avoid......

Lovely hotel with a gym. The rooms are cosy and have everything you need! The Wi-fi works very well. They also have a great breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly. The bar is also very lively even though service here can be a tad slow.
