Nice hotel. Rooms small but clean and beds amazingly comfortable. Glad I got back facing room as traffic is mega busy from 7am. Breakfast staff lovely. Bar is modern and relaxed with good decor. Very good breakfast.

Good facilities but lousy service. As soon as we arrived, they wanted to charge us double for what we had booked with airs of superiority. And when we left the hotel after having done the check-out, we realized that we had forgotten a bag with gifts in the room so we called to be kept. Our surprise when we arrived was that they had thrown it in the trash and rescued some paper from it but we lost a lot of the things that were in that bag. All this with very bad manners. So despite being a new hotel, well located and with good facilities we were left with a bad taste in our mouth because the treatment of the service left a lot to be desired.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Room nice and fresh, with perfect temperature, with a coffee machine and comfy bed!
Food in the East restaurant just amazing! Breakfast very good too with a big selection of hot food, fruits, pastries, pancakes and smoothies! Pool really nice! One of the best hotels in Dublin.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIR ven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

Lovely hotel, great location overlooking the river. Just around the corner from the bus station which was really handy for my overnight stay from Belfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful..couldn't fault their customer service. All in all a great experience. I will definitely return, hopefully for longer next time :)

Very friendly and attentive staff. Reception was manned 24 hours a day and always friendly to the welfare.
The rooms are modern and functional. Big enough for a city break and well equipped with an ironing board, iron and coffee maker. The bathroom was functional and big enough. The hotel was mostly quiet. The bar area invited to one or the other sociable drink.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and had something to offer everyone. Fresh fruit and sliced vegetables, various types of bread and rolls, muesli and traditional Irish breakfast with porridge and black pudding.

About the location: The hotel is really beautiful and quiet on the banks of the Liffeys. The harbor and the sea can be guessed at and not far away. To get to the city center it takes 15 minutes to walk along the beautiful Liffey. The practical hop on hop off buses stop at a stop less than 5 minutes away from the hotel.

For all air travelers, the transfer by taxi costs around 26 and takes 15 minutes from the airport.

I would book the hotel again and therefore a clear recommendation!

Lovely hotel on the river. The lobby & bar is a great place for a coffee or indeed a cocktail. The health club is the best in Dublin, wrlell equipped gym with a pool, but it's the exceptional staff that make it what it is, especially Louise.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Spencer hotel during my trip to Dublin for the Google summit. The staff was extremely positive and welcoming, and it made visiting that much better. From Shannon the day manager who went out of her way to make my accommodation one to remember, not just because I am Spencer staying at the Spencer but because they love doing their jobs and really seem to love helping visitors. Even the night managers Damien, who really was super helpful in getting checked in, to Salem who kindly explained to the american visitors how to turn the showers on :) This place would not be what it is without these great employees and after this visit I plan on going back and hope that these wonderful hotels managers and staff are there when I return, they made the stay that much better, thanks Spencer hotel for having such a great staff.

Good seat reservation. Everything as described and expected. Service ok. Even you will find an electrical outlet in our format (1 pc strongly hidden but if someone forgets adapters is a salvation). The nature is ok. Tasty breakfasts in an elegant place.

The room was small when we got there and right on the street which I thought would be noisy. . I asked if they would move me, they had a great room on side of building w balcony and view. We paid a little more. Very comfortable and nice.

Rooms spotless and quiet with great mattress and air conditioning. East restaurant really good in particular Nasi Goreng and Chocolate Brownie and service by Lydia faultless. The only reason hotel didn't receive 5 stars is service or should I say lack off at breakfast! While breakfast choice was excellent not once did server check if everything was ok and we even had to resort to leaving our used dishes at another table to give us extra room at our table! We ordered poached eggs after finally getting waitress's attention but after 4 other people asked her for assistance we discovered after waiting 20 minutes that she'd forgotten our order! The only time any server came near our table was to explain that breakfast would be ending soon!

Stayed back in March and was that impressed we returned last week. Lovely modern hotel with super friendly staff and great facilities the espresso machine in the room is a great touch!
We didn't have breakfast there but being in the financial district there are plenty of bagel, sandwich, coffee shops all in close proximity. A lovely 15-20min stroll down the Liffey will get you to the centre and the tram is also situated right behind the hotel. Will definitely return when next in Dublin

Awful service and shabby and disappointing rooms, much to expensive for the poor quality of rooms.

Windows in the room was defect, and did not close properly. Rooms are not heated, when you arrive in winter it takes approx. 20 minutes until you have an acceptable room temperature. Heating only with aircon, which is very noisy, you have only two choices, freeze or noise.

Rooms are not served during COVID, but nobody tells you, just some small print on a letter hidden in the room (still you pay full price).

Nobody that picks up the phone at reception in the evening, tried several times with the phone in the room, and also with mobile from external, only chance to contact staff is to go down to reception (great strategy to avoid work but not helpful to make your guests happy).

Nobody cares about used roomservice dishes left in the corridor, dishes from the evening before were still there 24 hours later.

Bathrooms are in a very bad state and not cleaned properly, see pics.

This rating relates specifically to the restaurant. 20 for a super salad which is basically a few leaves of salad and MICROWAVED chicken! Basically the same thing you d buy for 2.50 in Spar. This is far from the standard expected from a 4-star hotel.

P.S. the Guinness is also terrible!

The car park is underground and away from the hotel. The nightly charge is 20. The staff are friendly but hard to understand their accents at times. The alcohol list is comprehensive but expensive. We had a 5th floor room with balcony and views over the river. The noise from traffic started at 6.30 am. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We will explore other hotels in Dublin next time.

Ate in the restaurant called EAST at the back - just wanted a normal lunch and they sat us here - service wasnt great - they were either all over us or couldnt grab attention for 8 minutes - just asian food menu would have preferred a more diverse menu... small portions also esp. For price!

Beautiful establishment, a remarkably exceptional service, a staff of exemplary professionalism.
All this in a beautiful setting.
Very high standard bedding (my best night in at least 10 years).
thank you

The room I was given suffered from a lot of noise when anyone on the floor above used the bathroom. Also it was beside the lifts and a conference room. Bathroom shower leaked onto floor and the bathroom was not vented/no extractor I could see so remained very misty for a long time after using shower. Lastly I know its Dublin but 6.60 for a pint of Coors Light is a little excessive.

The food from the East restaurant however was perfect in every way. Highly recommended

Haven't been in the Hotel but its bar for an event. Very nice and fancy place. Not a very big variety of food and the hamburgers were a little bit dry, but the buffet was very tasty! Nice attention and good to know that the outside tables have heaters for the winter.
