Great decor, lovely room and fabulous restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly. Superb location for either visiting the shops or going to a concert. Only letdown was the poor service in the bar - gave up and went elsewhere after being wilfully ignored for 20 minutes.

Friendly, if a little disorganized. You have to call the front desk to get ice delivered to your room, there is none on the floors. They had no paper cups in order to take coffee from their breakfast restaurant. Nice location although not Central to all the action. Nice fairly plain rooms, clean.

Hotel bar and eateries fantastic..excellent staff...Unfortunately let down by filthy rooms...not value for money at all !! Thankfully, staff dealt with my complaints and changed rooms, but would never go back..also rooms dont have minibars... 700 euros for 2 nights... many other hotels nearby with more value for money, much nicer/cleaner rooms...

Very nice hotel, 2 minute walk from the nearest tram stop. We also got use of the hotel pool as well in the room cost. It's far enough away from the city centre to be quiet, but not far away enough to be a pain to get into the city.
Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby as well.

I went with a couple of friends in the EAST restaurant and have the best dining experience. Paul, the manager, was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. They are also specialized in cocktails, trust the barman and you won't regret!

We really enjoyed East Restaurant. We ordered the duck pancakes as an appetizer, which were fantastic. If we had a snack recently, this would have been enough food by itself. The main course was tasty as well, and the seafood chowder was amazing, and the portions giant. We hope to eat here again soon!

I loved everything about my stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely polite and attentive. Anything I needed, I was assisted with extreme professionalism. I want to give a special thanks to one of the hotels bartenders, Vladmir for making my first trip to Dublin one that I'll always remember, he was an amazing help with recommendations on places to go and things to do and also a great conversationalist. I will be back for sure.

I am not one to leave a bad review but this was honestly the worst place we stayed on our trip to Ireland. The staff was particularly uncaring and unhelpful.

At check in:
-There are no dollies to help with taking up bags. But the worst is no help being offered when seeing someone was struggling with their bags.
-They give poor instructions of where to park and seem frustrated if you ask for help. Which seemed to happen a lot.

Room
- Much smaller than expected for the price.
- The showers were absolutely complicated (not intuitive) and there isn't a full screen blocking the shower so the water spills onto the floor. You have to almost be hugging the wall to make sure water does not spill or use the hose option.
-Trash from last guest was left in the room.
-We had laundry done and were missing items. The front desk made it seem like this was our fault a name had not been attached to those items. However, those missing items had been with our filled out form with our name along with the rest of the laundry.

I am truly surprised of the positive reviews for this location.

Great location just outside the bus drop from the airport. They has lost one of our booked nights when we arrived and reserved almost 300 euro even that we had prepaided the room. The spa could need a restauration and outside the room a total makeover was on the move with builders talking loud.
The room was nice with great view and a comfortable bed.

I do not recommend to stay at the Spencer hotel. Its a maximum 3 starts hotel. The price paid for one night stay did not meet my expectations. I won't be coming back. I recommend to look at other hotels in the city.

Lovely hotel I've been staying here regularly The rooms are modern, clean with Nespresso machine and white company toiletries. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. The food on the restaurant is quite hit or miss some items on the menu are lovely like beef stroganoff or hot and sour soup while other Thai green chicken curry are best avoided as the chicken tastes rubbery and plain. The gym/swimming pool really good but it gets very busy between 6-8. If you are a hotel guest you can also attend various classes free of charge.

We were a (very indecisive) party of ten in the middle of a snow storm, and still the service was great. Moreover the food, although limited due to the storm, was delicious for all of us!

Have not stayed, only had drinks in the lobby bar, nice in the winter, it has the fire and good drinks and some finger food, which all seems to be deep fried no matter what you order which is interesting!

Good business hotel with clean rooms. The staff is very friendly.

The breakfast buffet is quite nice, but nothing to write home about.

The hotel also offers a lounge with a nicely stocked bar. Sadly I wasn't able to visit the swimming pool and the gym during my stay.

One thing that really annoyed me however. When I arrived at around noon and asked if my room was already ready, they told me no, but I'll be put in the queue... okay, understandable. As I was not feeling well (was running a fever) I went back to the desk multi times to ask again, always getting the same answer - you're in the queue. All the while I watch multiple people arrive and immediately get their rooms. It took until 15:30 (30 minutes after the official check in time) and even then they didn't have my room ready and had to phone around for a fitting room.

Great hotel in Dublin, located in the Financial District which is well located and you can visit several places on foot, such as shopping centers and museums. The view of the river is beautiful.
The hotel itself has free wifi, gym, swimming pool, pub and restaurant, among others. The room is small but cozy and has blackout curtains. The socket pattern is Irish, but has several points with European and American standards. In fact, the bathroom outlet is 110, the rest is 220.

A nice hotel with modern rooms and great staff that is friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent.

I have to dock 1 star because the water pressure in the shower was inadequate. And a sidenote - the hallways are carpeted, perhaps to reduce noise? But it is weird to see carpeted hallways and it makes maneuvering suitcases a bit awkward.

the worst deal you can do. the company has no say and does not return my deposit. I'm waiting for a month and the deadline they gave me is over.
You never have a return, and I can not find more Basil who is the director. I think I was cheated.

The Spencer Hotel has a gorgeous lobby and seating area with a really good menu and very nice food. Cocktails are also delicious and a good price. The staff were very helpful and always on hand for anything we needed. Situated in a good location only a 20 minute walk from the shops and a short taxi ride from everything we needed

The hotel has lovely rooms, very clean and spacious. The spa and pool area was also a nice addition and rare for hotels in Dublin to have this.

Breakfast was excellent with all the usual Irish extras such as white pudding. The eggs were made fresh to order which is a nice touch. There was a pancake maker which I loved as pancakes are my favourite breakfast food. I didn't know this was here until I stated at the hotel, so it was a nice addition and well received!

We had connecting rooms for our group and the door in between was unlocked for us quickly after asking. The hotel rooms were kept very clean but we felt like some days this was done late and we often arrived back after a day of activities to find our room still being cleaned. This really isn't a problem just something I haven't experienced before.

The toiletries were good quality and robes/slippers were provided. As such the room features as well as decoration was extremely comfortable.

The views from the hotel are nice especially at night when the area is lit up. As mentioned location is good and in terms of getting around the hotel staff were helpful by ordering us taxis as well as offering all other manner of help and advice with a friendly smile and caring manner. We felt safe as a group of all females and very much looked after by the bar staff too.

Defiantly take the time to relax in the cocktail bar and enjoy the public areas of the hotel. The whole stay was perfect and we would return again on our next trip to Dublin.
