Second stay at Citrus Waskaduwa and I m obsessed with the simplicity of the facility. Known as the longest beach hotel in Sri Lanka and almost all the rooms have nice view of the tropical beach. Wellness center Citrus Senses is giving extra relaxation during our stay. The main restaurant is bit packed but buffet have varieties, and seafood dishes were my favorites. Staff also working hard to get our requests are being entertained at earliest as possible. Overall, Citrus Waskaduwa is one of my favorite holiday destinations. See you soon Citrus Waskaduwa...

Really good hotel all family members. Good staff, good service. Have facility to arrange all your family and official occasion, celebration.
Beautiful beach area.But not suitable for swimming.Have separate water pool. Really clean and beautiful environment.
Foods really good. Price is depends on your choice. A/C rooms for couples and family members.

I think this is the longest hotel in . Very comfortable room with topping condition washroom. But foods not good taste.

Great Location and view. Food buffet both night and morning was good. Although limited varities the food taste good. Room had a great view to the ocean and loved it. Negative side is room amenities needs improvement. I cant say it is a 5 star hotel. No iron board when asked they said they do not have one and all.in use. T. V limited channels and not clear at all. We can hardly watch t.v since it's not clear at all. Feel they try to cut corners when giving toilet papers or other stuff like regular soap.wtc. For the price we paid I still feel they need improvement and not sure if it worth the price we paid.

Best place for team outing or have a great vacation.

Had one day stay at Citrus. The experience was not happy as expected from a 5 star hotel.
- Food was not tasty and not up to the standard of a 5 star hotel.
- Guests have to walk almost about 1Km from the lift to the room.
- Tooth kit & shaving kit were not available.
- No drinking water provided in the morning.
- Rooms were not sound proof.
- Mini bar was locked but they come to check whether the guest has used it !???
Do not recommend to the guests who expect a quality service beyond a preliminary service. Except the service of the helping staff and the view of the sea, the stay was miserable.

One of the best place to chill with good food and good pool.

One lift is not working .. rooms r very far from reception, at least 3-4 lifts r required for this..
Very disappointed with rules.. rules r like not to wear short clothes at dinner area but not strictly followed by everyone.. is there any partiality with guests???

nice big room right on the beach. lots of food choice and different areas to sit. lovley pool. did the water arobics . only stayed for 2 nights. seeing a train going passed infant of the hotel was interesting but it didn't bother us

This place has a huge space. Parking also huge. Food is ok. Staff is good but not much friendly. Po area is so good and huge. Rooms are good doesn t have at least a toothbrush. You have to ask them from the reception. Pool closes at 7.00 pm.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Comparing to down south , this area is less busy and ideal place to relax . All the rooms have sea views . Highly recommended for upper floor room. Food is very good and staff and the service is excellent.

Beautiful hotel close to the beach. The buffet was good even though there wasn't much variety compared to other hotels. Rooms and in-room amenities were very good. Service was the only negative, felt that the place is a bit understaffed. The pool was good too with various activities.

The pool was great & so was the food. The rooms were comfy too. Great place to chill. Some minor improvements possible.

Citrus is not located in the bustle of the city. and at the same time there are almost no slums.
and most importantly - sunset! right from the balcony of the room. incredibly beautiful and unforgettable!

This place is a very nice and a great destination to relax ! The restaurant staff was very polite they especially served us very well! Very friendly and efficient staff overall! Excellent hotel and would visit again

I am stay my 14days qurantine period in same hotel.

This property is based at an awesome place just opposite the beach... The hotel is huge with many rooms... Hope you don't get the extreme right or left rooms you have to walk all the way... Ensure the shower is carefully monitored by adults when kids are in as Hot and Cold water comes on its own time within seconds it will change and it is not per the knob... The food is good and the ambience is also very nice enjoy your stay...

The infrastructure is solid. The food is atrocious. The buffet literally, not metaphorically, has flies on it.

I dropped dollars on a Full Board package and by the last day I realized that skipping meals I paid for was less onerous than eating at said meals.

For sure that is not a five it even four star hotel in any sense.

Just as a start of my stay I saw huge mould on the wall by the bed. Smells badly.
The room had to be cleaned after we checked in as it was dirty and unprepared for new customers.
Staff seems to be friendly but the reaction to problems that are pointed out is too slow.

Food is ok but for sure not a level of 5 hotel.

Wifi is theoretically available everywhere but in reality it is extremely slow or rather does not work at all

The condition of the hotel was excellent.. clean and comfortable. Service staffs are friendly. Food are yummy, plus good environment.

Ok but you could have more light in the rooms and in the bathroom ...... it's more attention to cleanliness even if it's not easy.

Overall it is a good hotel with a nice beach front. Food is an average level of quality. Lot of free space available for having a good relaxing. And atmosphere clean andb it nice and good place to stay.
