Gorgeous Theatre! Came here most recently to see the sound of music and two years ago Swan Lake. Each time I was impressed with the interior of the building and the performances. The seats were comfy, though the cup holders were a little annoying since they cut into your leg space. It was also a little warm. Overall I had a great time here, it is a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit.
Great Theatre. Lovely atmosphere with beautiful elegant ceilings. Very grand.
Beautiful theater, nice staff, easy experience getting in and out. Went for Bob weir and Phil lesh, it was a great venue for a concert. The seating set up is pretty steep, but you're able to see the stage from every sit. The sound quality is pretty good too.
I had wonderful time there with the kids seeing Paw Patrol live
I was thrown away at how magnificent this theater is. The detail and the richness of how it was built and decorated was astonishing. We went to see the Nutcracker and I can't wait to go back to see something else soon.
Beautiful building with tons of character. Bathrooms can be hard to find but for the shows it s always top notch.
Watched Sound of Music on opening night. Venue was incredible but was not allowed photos inside the theater, only in the lobby.
Love the architecture, the stage, the sound, the lights. Not so keen on the seats, which could stand to be renovated, and not quite so cramped. Still, I keep coming back for more!
First Time I went and it was beautiful. The artitecture was awesome,
What a gorgeous theater. We were here for a concert recently, and the sound was fantastic. There doesn't seem to be any bad seats in the House, even way up in the upper balconies feel very close to the stage. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because some of the staff took thier jobs much too seriously. Note to staff: people are there to enjoy themselves, you need to relax.
I really like the design but not coat hangers, they said not for this show.
Went to see Dancing with the Stars. , what a great show. The staff was very helpful.
Just found out that Alvin Ailey is coming to Boston in May. Went online to find out when and where I could get tickets. Found what I needed and I'm
Great concert. Theatre was stifling hot. Almost hard to enjoy the show it was so warm. Shouldn't have to be in a t-shirt and almost sweating in November.
It's gorgeous, an amazing landmark. I've seen great shows. The bars are well stocked. But it was built for tiny people in the 19th century. I'm 6 foot and broad shouldered, so I barely fit in the seats. Like, my thighs are longer than the distance from the seat to the seat on front of me. So uncomfortable I can't really enjoy the show.
Beautiful place but the temperature setting was way too high for that many people in one space. Had 4 people in our party of three different age ranges and all agreed on way too hot.
Beautiful place. Elegant and full of tradition. Easy to get in and out. Street parking is hard to find but there are parking lots very close by.
One of the larger theaters in Boston and one of the most elegant.
Great for musicals, stand-up, and other music acts.
The theater is beautiful. We went for a kids show paw patrol and the sound was off so we couldn't understand the actors.
One of the first theatres I went ti when I was very young and have made a point to enjoy theatre here whenever I get a chance. It is quite beautiful inside.
Great theater located in Boston s theater district. Good for live performances.
It is absolutely beautiful inside! The shows they put on are wonderful too!
Amazing acoustics. Stunning historic architecture. Ray Lamontagne went God mode!
Beautiful theater. Parking ok but pricey. Great seating. $9 can of beer is nuts.
Cool place def crammed full house but fun time at troye sivan concert
Custom made me a keto friendly frappe and it was delicious.
Beautiful venue with a wonderful atmosphere and exquisite gilded interior
Friendly staff. Great acoustics. They use ticket master.
The venue is beautiful and it has a unique setup. However the bad seats are really bad. For a 6'4" guy I found the seats unbearably uncomfortable, worse than fenway. Also, the seats are not organized in a stadium like fashion so you can feel very far away, bring binoculars. They do play good shows here and the sound travels well. For the price and the poor seating I might only go back if it's something I'm dying to see.
Beautiful theater. Wonderful acoustics. The Moscow ballet's Nutcracker was fabulous. Loved it!!
Great venue. Very organized with great acustics for live music.
Gorgeous place. The music, the dancing, the architecture. I was living in Brookline Mass. and my parents took me to see The Nutcracker Suite. My mom said her mom took her to see The Nutcracker Suite in New York City, so i,m taking you to see it also. i ll Never forget it. Beautiful place.Boston.
Outstanding venue with amazing customer service. I'm disabled, and I usually avoid going to concerts because it can literally be painful, but the folks at the Wang Theater make things easy and hassle free.
Beautiful Setting for "Rain" Tribute to The Beatles.
Not bad. Two issues. Very old theatre so the seat spacing is tight. We were in the balcony and it was very hot.
Very nice Thearter. The interior is not what i expected being in The city, marble and gold. Parking is a pain, get their early.
Like older venues, pitch too low for clean sight lines. Interference with heads in front of us.
Seats comfortable.
The event we attended this time was DWTS tour. Performance as expected. Enjoyable. But no side screens for close ups as common in concerts we've attended. Given size of theater, side screens would have made experience that much better.
Watched a Beatles tribute band there - what a beautiful theater!
A great cultural experience in a very ornate building. It was built for a different time though, so expect long lines and cramped seats.
Beautiful theatre, need to improve the beverage service libe arrangement, pure chaos
Great place in Boston to.see any kind of show. Go here and you won't be disappointed!
Excellent venue for a show. The architecture is great and viewing angles seem favorable from any seat.
Seats are small with little leg room, but performances and decor are amazing
Beautiful theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. Great performances from the actors.
The building is beautiful but I don't recommend children since it's hard to see from the back. The seating is only slightly sloped and it's really annoying when children are talking during performances. It's hard to enter because there are throngs of people.
Great theatre, with many shows and food stands to choose from.
In some theatres, seating may be a bit cramped. When my group last went, the cupholders were jabbing into our knees.
I like the Wang Theatre, and it sure is beautiful. But as a courtesy, can people stop walking in 30 minutes after the show starts!!!
Saw Little Big Town tonight & what a fantastic show! Their voices, music, lyrics... ain't nothing Little about what they brought to this Big Town
Wang Theatre is still beautiful!
The theater is breath taking. The sound quality is sweet, the seating is very well layed out. The staff is very patient and help you get around with ease...
Great venue, beautiful, historic, highly recommended
Nice theatre, but seats lack leg room and ability to lean back.
Good theater with friendly staff. Thought it was odd we had to check our backpacks across the street and they were a bit underprepared, but got it back quickly and easily at the end.
Beautiful theater. Sound is excellent, Great experience
When I was a student at Tufts, I was involved in the Tufts 3rd Day Gospel Choir and we sand at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre. The Wang Theatre is such a beautiful space and it carried out our voice beautifully! In 2010, I went to see the Alvin Ailey Show at the Wang Theatre. The Wang Theatre was the perfect place to have such beautiful dance showcased!
My first experience there (at Xtina -wich is my favorite diva, ever- Concert) was terrible and I did promise myself to never go back there again. Memories about that day, makes me sad. But Mariah played today, so I gave another opportunity and it was very good.
Saw Annie here. Atmosphere is great! Building is beautiful! Staff is friendly!
Beautifully restored venue. Saw Eddie Izzard & loved it
The theatre is such a beautiful place, the staff there were all super friendly, and the show we saw was absolutely amazing!
It's a beautiful place to see a play. Had a fantastic time and the people are just so nice and friendly. Saw White Christmas for the second time in 5 years and Loved both times.
