Always beautiful though a rat race to get in and out of. Concessions are still fairly reasonable. Acoustics arent great for certain shows and seats have gotten too expensive for most

As others have said, the theater is beautiful inside. The outer doors opened at 7:15 for an 8:00 show and we went upstairs and had to wait 20 minutes in a very hot hallway for the theater doors to open. Lots of people were commenting about how warm it was. Once the doors opened we went to our balcony seats and had to climb VERY steep steps. I have trouble with heights and started to feel queasy. I think I counted we climbed 70 steps from the ground level to our seats. We felt really far away from the stage. The surcharge for the tickets was $15/ticket which we thought was very steep also. It tacked on an extra $45 bucks for the three of us. I am a short woman and I found the seats small and tight. For these reasons I would definitely not go back to this theater again.
Very nice theatre with historic flair. Limited food selection, basically chips and candy. Food and beverages are kind of expensive.
Beautiful building in the heart of the theater district of Boston. Comfortable seats. Architecture stunning.
Awesome venue. Beautiful ornate theatre with professional staff. Numerous food and drink stands.
Nice theater. Impressive-looking foyer. Good audio/sound. Excellent performances
Went to see Dancing with the Stars. Small , intimate yet stunning theater! #culture
Was here for the Boston DotA 2 Major. A great experience. Great views from all levels.
I never expected to see Nine Inch In such a beautiful venue! Not a bad seat in the house! I would recommend the Boch Center to see any concert.
Stunning building beautiful sound quality and tons of history. Parking is convenient.
This place is beautiful. 1st time I visited for the Kingdom Heart Orchestra. Amazing! Everything is very well organize. Staff is so helpful I didn't felt lost for being my 1st time.
Security for the show we attended was terrible. Multiple bag checks with no communication amongst staff. Took 35 minutes to get through the door with our tickets in hand. Will call was apparently a mess. I understand a "no cell phone" policy but I got accosted for turning my phone off before the show - I'm an adult and I'm following you directions, so don't be a dick. The security staff then paced the aisles through the whole show, frequently blocking our line of site. Terrible, terrible experience.
Great place to see any type of show or concert. Excellent acoustics.
The building currently has a beautiful display in the lower lobby to welcome in Ringo Starr this evening!
Gorgeous interior. Viewing angles are tough in orchestra because the ground does not slope very much. Leg room a bit narrow for taller folk
Beautiful building great venue for concerts every seat was a good seat
Nice theater. Was here for the Boston Major by PGL and I have to say the venue worked far better than I'd thought.
The seats are so small no leg room they also charged $4 for an rc cola and $4 for candy that s $1 in the store the seats made it hard to enjoy the show my daughter could barely see because of people that where sitting 3 rows down would not recommend going here at all
Beautiful venue. Sound was excellent. Vendors were well-stocked and efficiently set up to serve the crowd of a sold out show. Looking forward to my next visit.
What a beautiful theater! Our family was lucky enough to see the Grinch who stole Christmas! An amazing performance and the kids really enjoyed it and wanted to see it again immediately! We only wished there were a photo opportunity before or after the show. Not even a sign to stand by...
Even though we weren't exactly "on time" the lines outside were rather long. We got right in, hardly a wait. A beautiful theatre, and a great place to see the great, Jerry Seinfeld
The Wang Boch Center is a very nice place for Events
Very nice place. New comfy seats, can drink beverages that they sell there into the show. very pleased.
It beautiful inside and out and the staff are kind and helpful
Nice people, they let us move seats because other ones were open. But like a lot of old theaters, no leg room and squeezed into seats... And I'm only 5'9", 170lbs
This is the first time I go in for a concert and even tho is sold out is so easy to get in. There are multiple doors which made the lines go fast and there were multiple snack and drink bars as well. The bathrooms were never crowded and everything went so smoothly
Beautiful theater, spacious, and comfortable. Perfect venue for a three band night! The only aspect about the night that was less than perfect was the wine... please choose a different brand! It was terrible (the red was salty and when I tried the white, they put ice cubes in it... ugh!)
Easy to get to via public transportation. Helpful staff and volunteers.
Very nice enjoyed the show I seen, didn't like the fact you have 2 go up or down stairs to use the bathroom.
I love the inside of this building. The turn of the century artwork is everywhere!
They did a great job at moving the crowd into the theater so we didn't have to stand in the bitter cold. The theater is beautiful and the seats are more comfortable after the recent renovations.
I saw Alice Cooper on March 6th. The theater is absolutely breathtaking. The acoustics are excellent. The art is incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful, even with a venue full of blood soaked freaks.
Beautiful theater and it's well worth the ticket price to see a show here
We saw the sound of music on its last scheduled performance for Boston and really enjoyed the show and the venue.
Great venue to see any show.. Seats are a little bit tight and not a lot of leg room. That was really the only minor issue.
Just seen David Blaine great show this place is incredible great place for musical performances to.
What a shame that when they restored this gem, they failed to install seating that is comfortable for patrons. The rows are crammed in like sardines, and to make matters worse cup holders have been installed in the seat backs. The holders are so large you CANNOT find a comfortable place to put your knees (maybe if you are shorter than 5 feet, might work). The ushers allowed late arrivals to come in while a performer was singing rather than waiting for a break in the action. Very disrespectful to the performer. Lots of loud chatter from ushers did not help. We will not be returning.
Beautiful theater. But it's massive so if you are in far end of the balcony, you can't really see much of what's going on, on the stage.
Beautiful place, clean, excellent working crew, plenty of parking lot and great atmosphere.
Great place to see a show! Very professional and helpful staff. Pouring out every single drink including bottled soda and waters into plastic cups seemed a bit excessive though.
Looks like a palace, beautiful place, pricy for what you get, seats are small and tightly packed. For the price, I was expecting a lot more.
Iconic theater right in the heart of Boston. The architecture will blow you away.
Amazing Theater . Upper Balcony gets a little hot half way thru. We found parking next door . Very Beautiful.
Beautiful theatre, that has modern amenities added w/o disrupting the ambiance. Definitely worth going to see a show here
Me and my wife were planning to go to this event since April. We got our tickets right outside of the Pit area in the front near the stage. However I'm a larger size guy and the seats are very small. There is hardly any extra leg room. I was unable to fit in the seat. Anything bigger than a 46 pant size you won't be able to sit comfortably or fit in the seat at all. The reason for my 5 star review is the head usher, I believe her name is Robin. She was able to get us into the box office area where the seats are larger. Robin if you read this, you were able to turn our almost catastrophic night into something we will remember forever at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour. You and the staff have my heart felt thanks and appreciation. As me and my wife don't make a lot of money, it took our extra cash we've been saving just to come to this once in a lifetime show. I cannot say thanks enough to the staff and I would hug you Robin if I was sure you would let us.
Always fun to come here. The architecture alone , it's just stunning. A great old building in Boston that is just beautiful. Seats can be a little tight on the leg room, but overall still comfy and cushioned. I'll always recommend this place, I love going here. We saw White Christmas during the holidays, and it was quite the treat. Spectacular show.
I don t know whether a five star review is worthwhile because my visit was simply to pick up tickets from the ticket office in the foyer. However what was immediately apparent was the theater s age and obvious heritage. They appear to run interior tours suggesting to me how proud they are of the longevity and tradition of this establishment. Perhaps the five stars are not entirely deserved after my brief visit but - it s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
Ornate and stunningly restored theater that was, I believe, originally built as a movie theater (when going to see a movie was a big deal). Name has recently changed to the Boch Center.
It's a very large theater with multiple balconies, so live performances do not have the intimate feel that they can even on Broadway.
Security seems to have been recently increased... Everyone was being "wanded" as they entered last night.
