The best modern circuit.
All very nice and tidy. Fantastic with the family and therefore also suitable for children. Freedom of movement throughout the circuit makes it unique and therefore the possibility of having different points of view of the circuit make it truly unique.

The Formula One Grand Prix 2019. A true highlight. Beautiful modern facility, plenty of bathrooms, the only drawback is that it is far from town and it is hard to see the track unless you are in the designated seating areas. There is a lot of walking involved!!

Went to see Stevie Wonder. The grounds are nice. We got lost trying to find the parking lot we had a pass to park in. It was very frustrating, not one person we asked had directions. The people directing traffic and the people working the gates. I heard I don't know or we were given bad directions by all. I don't look forward to going there again.

This was my first Formula One race, despite having been a fan for at least 20 years. COTA is a fantastic facility, and there are few people that have anything but nice things to say! Seating in the turn one grandstands was fantastic, and was turn 15.

Next year though, I think I'm going to opt for general admission. Something about relaxing in the grass is probably worth the little bit of a lack of viewing angle.

Part of a small problem is the fencing around the circuit and the GA seating areas. It's difficult to get photos through the fencing, but the seats are obviously higher, so that's the way to go if you're into photography.

Food options, despite the expected crazy prices, were really good. Enjoyed a Venezuelan place on Friday and Saturday, and tried a BBQ place for lunch on Sunday. Didn't need with the chain places, but they had a few.

PA audio system was extremely loud in turn 15, but fine in other areas.

Bring a small bag, a chair, and you'll have an absolute blast. Just remember that there is next to no shade in most areas, so layer that sunscreen on!

Also, I was very happy to see that the customer service tents had free sunscreen and earplugs.

The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is clearly one of the best motor sports venues for a wide variety of racing formats and other entertainment events. Access to the grounds is very accommodating and makes it easy to locate many excellent viewing spots from the grandstands as well as the general admission grounds.

But for the very unhealthy food choice options, I would rate COTA five stars.

I was so glad to hear that they were building and F1 rated circuit in Austin. I've been to a lot of race tracks before and I must say this is the most beautiful track I've ever seen. Unfortunately wec is not running there anymore, which I think is unfortunate. The Austin 360 Amphitheatre is a wonderful place for concerts. Pretty much any seat will give you a decent View. Personally, I won't do the general admission on the hill. It's Grass. So if you do come bring a blanket or something to sit on.

Update, they have greatly increased the number of races taking place at the track. IndyCar is even here now. The amphitheater also has increased the number of concerts. And if I am not mistaken there is a full-size soccer field there now also

Great place, if you could go in. Made my way there for this weekends race (GT3, GT-4, TC-R, TC, TC-A) after getting there, I was told I couldn't go in. City of Austin would not allow it. So we did not spend a cent in Austin after an unpleasant surprise. I didn't find anything at COTA's web page about it. Tried calling before heading over and nobody answered, just so we could avoid just that. Absolutely disgusted with COTA, even though it's a wonderful track. I don't think they care. We watched the race on Youtube. Worst part was seeing people watching the race in the track without distancing or face coverings. Make your own opinion from this.

Came here for the inaugural GP and have been coming back every year. The facility has gotten better each time and it is truly world class. Sadly I have yet to participate in a track day on this circuit but all my mates insist it is a must. As a spectator the views are superlative at this track. Turn 1 is something else. Make the trip, you will enjoy it.

Amazing experience. Great place to watch a race. Unlike many other F! circuits, you can see a large amount of the track due to the elevation. Well organized shuttle transportation to and from downtown. The second best turn 1 in F1.

This track is awesome. We attend every formula 1 and other races here. My only gripe is the lack of shade and water. This track would be wonderful for a state that does not get triple digits temps, however its in Texas. They need shade....

This is really a beautiful track. Visiting non F1 events proves very comfortable. The food and beverages are abnormally high and really not that great but that isn't why you should be going to this track. For non F1 events, you can usually walk around most of the grounds. Definitely a great time for kids and adults.

Great track but the place is lacking in a lot of areas. When its hot there is zero shade. No camping at all. Concession prices for beer are insane. In cooler weather this is a fantastic place to watch racing. The general admission areas are very good for viewing. There are lots of passing zones around the track. I am gonna not be too critical because the place is only in its second full season however lots of issues need to be addressed.

We went to watch the Kesha and Macklemore tour with Wes Period setting it off at the Austin 360 Ampitheatre. It was absolutely a great time! The venue has plenty of food and drink stands and quite a number of bathroom facilities. The energy of concert was electric and all around done great performances!

Great music venue! Saw Primus here and was blown away. We were an hour and a half early and the first ones through the gate. We stood front and center and could almost touch the people on stage. Everything in here is hella expensive, $4 for a water, but that is to be expected at places like this.

The racecourse is located south of the airport and can be reached by car in a short time. There are enough parking spaces at MotoGP race. You should allow enough time during the F1 days as it has significantly more visitors. The route is well equipped with toilet facilities and TOI-TOi.
Food stands and merchandising stands are available on the entire site.

Being a new track, CoTA is amazing! Very well laid out walking paths around the entire track provide views from any corner you want, and the shuttle from the infield to the main grandstand makes it very easy to get from vendors to seats and back. Very helpful and friendly staff in all areas I encountered them. Multiple parking lots to choose from so no walk to your seats is that far if planned properly. Even the city of Austin plans traffic around the track well, with the county sheriff directing traffic and shoulders opening for through traffic. Great overall experience at this track.
