David Nevill Jr Review of Circuit of the Americas

This was my first Formula One race, despite having been a fan for at least 20 years. COTA is a fantastic facility, and there are few people that have anything but nice things to say! Seating in the turn one grandstands was fantastic, and was turn 15.
Next year though, I think I'm going to opt for general admission. Something about relaxing in the grass is probably worth the little bit of a lack of viewing angle.
Part of a small problem is the fencing around the circuit and the GA seating areas. It's difficult to get photos through the fencing, but the seats are obviously higher, so that's the way to go if you're into photography.
Food options, despite the expected crazy prices, were really good. Enjoyed a Venezuelan place on Friday and Saturday, and tried a BBQ place for lunch on Sunday. Didn't need with the chain places, but they had a few.
PA audio system was extremely loud in turn 15, but fine in other areas.
Bring a small bag, a chair, and you'll have an absolute blast. Just remember that there is next to no shade in most areas, so layer that sunscreen on!
Also, I was very happy to see that the customer service tents had free sunscreen and earplugs.
