Great place to enjoy some new adventures in Austin.
Great venue. The track is fantastic, and has hosted some really good races!
Beautiful outdoor venue where you can spend an evening under the stars at a concert. Ease in parking and lots of outdoor vendors.
A top five race track in the world, with a state of the art 16,000 seat amphitheater. The people who work there want to give you a top notch race or concert experience.
Did the COTA carting experience and it was awesome. Can't wait to go back for Moto GP
GET THE PARKING AND RIDESHARE MESS FIXED!!!! Everything else is cool, duh super high priced everything is expected.
Great Venue! Seats are clean and directions are very easy!
This is place is awesome! But you need to bring plenty of sunscreen. Shade is limited.
Indy cars are on the track! Loved seeing Firestone Racing and the Firestone tires at The Circuit of the Americas during the NTT IndyCar Series open test. Can't wait for the race in March!!!
There are hundreds of people here. They have no
Idea how Uber s work. It doesn t matter what you see here, you can t come or go.
Great experience, expansive so bring your walking shoes. F1 is the way to experience the full event!
Love this race track. They've got plenty of parking, shuttles, camping, live entertainment, food, drink, it's just great entertainment.
Vroom Vroom Vroom now walk two miles back to your car.
Nice venue. Good sound. Only drawback is the parking; LONG walk.
If you go to a concert here pay extra for pit passes..It so close to the entertainer.
I attended the inaugural F1, and while the facility is first rate, be aware that the so called "dry camping" that is available for the upcoming Lonestar Lemans for $79. is just a tent site.
I booked a 20x20 RV site when I ordered my tickets, and now I find out that there are no hookups available for power or water, its just a tent site. I'm sorry but that's just not acceptable in this day and age for RV'ers. Generators are available for rent at $300 a weekend, and sewer is also available for some exorbitant cost, but this is a new all time low. This was never explained in any of the ordering materials and I had to call to find this out. So all of you heading out there in your RV's, bring your cash.
To me, IMSA is probably not worth it. Its unfortunate that COTA decided to take this low road on providing "camping" facilities for their fans.
I doubt I'll be back.
Beautiful track. Nice amenities. Lots of interesting elevations.
Saw a show here. The sound was excellent, especially for an outdoor venue. They had decent food and drink options. Expensive, but what do you expect? The track is cool, too.
This is an outstanding venue. There's a lot of seating and the shows are great. There's also a racetrack here, where people race all sorts of cars. The only downside is how far away it is from the city of Austin. It's quite a drive. Also, be careful with the GPS. It once took me to the back side of the venue, where the entrance looked to be permanently closed for a long time now.
One of the best experiences I have ever had I can't wait to come back
Unforgetable experience. All the stands guarantee very good visibility of the races
Super clean facility, helpful staff at the USGP. The parking situation can be improved, but we will definitely be back!
3 stars is a neutral rating. While the Austin 360 Amphitheatre, soccer field and surrounding grounds are very nice and well laid out, I haven't seen the rest of the complex - so, until then.
Drove a he out of our way only to get there and they don't open to the public till 7pm. They didn't bother to tell us that when we called ahead of time. I'd I could give them NO STARS I would
Great venue, and they host small vintage and solar races
Love the track and the amenities. Parking is a bit far from he track but everytime I go there are shuttles. Bathrooms get a little crowded but are kept surprisingly clean for MotoGP weekend.
I went for a holiday light show, It was a total rip off. I don't think that reflects on the track though.
Great place to come and see the races live. Me and my wife enjoy coming here.
One of the best road course tracks in the US. A must visit.
Great place to go and see a concert. clean facility. perfect setting
My experience with the Circuit of the Americas facility has been limited to the annual MotoGP races early each year. From what I understand, the pricing of tickets is on par with other races elsewhere in the country. The track itself is absolutely beautiful with its red, white, and blue flair and the races have always been entertaining to watch (if not very close).
My complaints arise because of the cost of everything else at the facility. You're not going to find food for less than $10 and it'll probably be mediocre and barely qualify as a full meal. Drinks are obscenely expensive and limited to watered-down mass production beers despite the abundance of local breweries in the area. Corporate wheelings and dealings have turned what should have been an awesome Austin experience into just another mass market sporting facility. Parking is stupidly expensive at the gate, so be sure to pay up-front to get a parking permit.
Traffic in/out of the area is an absolute nightmare. The lack of major roads create an enormous traffic jam following any event regardless of attempts to control flow. Don't be surprised if you end up waiting over an hour to escape the area.
Lots of food. A little pricey but hey you at a race track. Nice place ill come to again. Be prepared to walk a bit tho. Parking is a little far..other wise it was bad a**
Weekly Tuesday spring and fall bicycle riding nights on the racetrack make COTA an amazing venue for cyclists, triathletes, and even family fun.
Should make clear floor seating is not raised and your vision will be blocked by people standing on top of stools in front of you. Buyer beware....
One of the best tracks in the world, the bleachers are a little in the cheap side for an international venue.
Epic fun at the MotoGP! 60 dollars well spent on a great day of fun people and motor sports!
Fun concert venue with plenty of food and drink options, and even free wifi if you can catch it, lol.
The most beautiful track in the country. Many great viewing areas, and it produces many great races. Love it.
The service depends on the event you go for but has definitely improved over the years
Very very hard to get into and out of... Took 2 hours in and 4 hours out post F1... Granted you expect big crowds but it's in international circuit... Isn't that the point? Won't go again.
Well for now it's the only circuit in the USA to host Formula 1
We came to Circuit of the Americas (COTA) for the Inaugural Indycar race. The facility is very expanse and you can walk a bit to get from place to place in the track. We sat in turn one and you can see a lot of the track from there. We were in Grandstand 15 - Awesome view of the stadium portion of the course... Perfect spot to see the racers for a decent period of time .... Weather was awesome , people are very friendly ...
We booked a tour weeks in advance as we live in the UK and could only visit on one day. Arrived nice and early and were made very welcome.
The tour took us around the circuit, race control, the podium. The Audi Experience were on circuit, they were kind enough to allow 'photo opportunities in one of the cars. At the end the merchandise container was opened. Bit disappointed with the choice of memorabilia but it was OK.
Our group were given the chance to go back to the circuit to go on the track. Just my husband and I went back so we had a private two lap tour.
As our driver said, we had the golden ticket today.
Highly recommend the tour.
One of the best race car tracks in the world. First class.
