My wife and I came here for a vacation this year and it was absolutely amazing. The weather wasn't overly cooperative but it was February after all. The event staff was more than helpful and always willing to point you in the right direction. Surprisingly the food and the merchandise was not over prices like my wife thought it would be. We will absolutely be going here again for more races.

Went to the circuit when they turned it into winter wonderland. I think if they continue to add to it every year it will be fantastic. We had fun ice skating and enjoyed the carnival rides. The light displays were great.

The track is too new. We went there for Formula 1. They need to work out the kinks still. Sat in traffic for way to long after the race. I know there is going to be a jam. But this was ridiculous. When we got up to the jam the Police we causing it by taking 3 lanes down to one. They need to get everyone out of that immediate area first, then let them figure it out.
The track itself is nice. For $4 billion they could have made wider walkways, finished the landscaping so you have grass to sit on. Had more bathrooms etc.
I expected prices to be high. But they were raping us at $10.50 for a domestic.

If you are a F1 fan, if you are a car racing fan or if you are just a fan of nice, powerful cars, this is a place to come and visit. There are even events where you can be a passager and drive a long with experimented drivers in this 3.4 miles circuit. Thats an unforgettable experience. Extra: walk the garage, take pictures of the cars, take videos of the short races, talk with the drivers and owners, etc, etc, etc.

Though the history of how this place was funded is controversial, the end result is great. You can count on having a very professional and enjoyable experience here. The event are world-class, and all memorable! Just watch out for sky high prices on booze!

This is a great place if you enjoy go kart.
The karts here are pretty fast which adds to the fun and rush. The only issue I find is that one ticket will enable you to ride only for 10 minutes, which seems short. Nevertheless, I recommend trying it out and race.

The facility it self is fantastic but the parking situation is rediculas and the lack of proper shuttle then if you dont want Ferrari ,Mercedes or red bull merch. You screwed only 1 location to get it and the line is 3 football fields long . who ever owns this track migjt want to go visit a NASCAR track and learn how to run it

This is a great venue just outside of downtown Austin. The set up is done very well and there doesn't appear to be a bad seat at all. The sound was amazing and the open air venue made it a great atmosphere. Parking was included with the ticket, which meant a bit of a walk to get to the entrance. However, there are better parking options for an extra charge. There are plenty of food and drink options, merchandise stands, and bathrooms (Porta-Potties). The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, with security taking no crap from anyone...except when it comes to smoking.

The smoking (not just cigarettes) and vaping was quite excessive in the crowd. This definitely wasn't being addressed by anyone as it went on the entire night. I'm pretty sure I got a contact high from being in the crowd for a couple hours, and the smell is disgusting. There were two actual restrooms in the venue, but there were about 40 Porta-Potties scattered throughout the venue. When it gets dark, seeing in those Porta-Potties is impossible. Be careful not to drop your phone in the toilet when using the flashlight!

A great music venue and a fantastic race track. I've been here for concerts and auto/moto races and I've always had a good time - in fact, I'd call this the best F1 track in the western hemisphere. You'll get $15 beers and $10 hamburgers but that's to be expected at a venue like this. What's a little less acceptable is the 2 lane road that services the track and makes it so that you're gonna have a horrible time entering or leaving the venue.

Delivering bridge panels here,
Still a lot of work to be done, but it looks
Like it's go to be pretty cool . . .

COTA is only venue that if you arrive early, you are directed to park the as far away from the venue as possible. Those that arrive late, park closer to the venue in the same lot. Our parking lot was not labeled so we drove around the venue getting incorrect directions. The walk to the concert venue during GP F1 was dark, crowed and unsafe. It was like herding cattle through a cattle guard at midnight. After the event was over, the General Admission crowd had to walk back up the hill and traverse through one narrow exit up a number of switchbacks and of course, no signs directing the crowd to the correct parking lot. COTA is a nice venue, it is just run by poor organizers.

Just got back from an amazing weekend at COTA watching F1. Gift from my wife for my birthday. Absolutely amazing time.
Truly shocking how quickly they can get 150,000 people in & out of the parking lots.
The food was actually surprisingly good - not cheap - but no more than theatre food & WAY better tasting. Beer was plentiful & getting to our seats was not bad.
We sat at the top of Grandstand 9 (by corner #9) you could see about 3/4 of the track & the cars screamed by us within 200 feet - close enough to get the feel of truly how fast they are going.
So
I highly recommend it to you. Especially if you've been closely following F1 for 33 years like I have.
Hey
Even the concerts were amazing.
Imagine Dragons Friday night.
P!NK on Saturday night.
It was a great time had by all!

My husband rode, for the first time, in the BP MS 150 going from Houston, TX to Austin,TX. It was an amazing event to say the least. Their finish was located at the COTA. I had never been here prior to this moment and was simply amazed at all the things they had there for people to partake in. There is a racetrack there, go-carts, a HUGE slide that I believe you ride a box car down and Im sure there is more to do and see. This was just what we had noticed. It would be fun for us to revisit and experience all they have here.

We stopped here during a spring break road trip. Myself and my two teen kids, son and daughter and it was really cool. We planned on racing the karts and it was a blast. My daughter was slightly undersized to pilot her own kart of the size we were running. If we had waited for the smaller class, she could have but it would have been later in the afternoon and we didn t have that much time to kill. Check the schedule for the times and classes they run and also check the height/weight recommendations for drivers.
The best part of our stop here was totally unplanned. The Ferrari Challenge was visiting the track and we were able to walk the paddocks and check out those incredible machines. Even got to see them parade past us one by one and stage for the start of a run.
COTA is worth a stop if you re in the southeast Austin area.

Great
