Cincinnati Airport Marriott Review

Beautiful hotel! Room on the 5th floor was very quiet, despite sharing the floor with rowdy teenagers. Didn't hear a peep once we were in our room. Room was also very clean and had what might be the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. The sliding glass bathroom door was a little weird and I didn't feel like I had much privacy. It's also pretty loud to open and close, which may be a problem if you're sharing the room with a light sleeper. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay at this Marriott location in the future.

Great hotel, excellent staff, room are comfortable and clean also, love the bathroom door, it slides like a barn door, so cool!

I booked a room with a third party booking service and paid for the room online but when I arrived they charged my card as well unbeknownst to me. When I contacted Marriot about the error they claimed the hotel said they'd fix it. They didn't and have since then stopped answering emails. I have not heard from the hotel itself at all.

Update 12/23
The situation has now been resolved. I honestly do not know if they had planned to credit back my card previous to my review or after. The credit says 12/21 so it is likely the former. A lot of time and energy could have been saved if they had simply let me know the credit was on the way and it should not have taken me 3 weeks to fix it.

For me the moral of the story is CHECK YOUR BILL at checkout.

Excellent! Convenient to the airport and just about 25 minutes from downtown. Beds are absolutely wonderful!

There's been a lot of times I've paid more for much less. This was a really nice hotel at a surprisingly good price.

I recently stayed for several days and the Staff (Megan and Kelcie at the front Desk and
Kristi in the M lounge were Amazing!!! When we arrived for the convention there was no information for the agenda available and all of these Wonderful ladies went above and beyond to help us find out what we needed to do and where we needed to be. AMAZING staff!!

Staff is great, food in the restaurant is pretty good, and workout gym is pretty good.

Hotel is under renovations but of course they don't tell you that. Our room looked nice because it was one of the newly renovated rooms but after a closers look there is a lot that wasn't done well. Cracked paint, dust on everything, a piece of moulding was just propped up against the wall. On top of it all the whole floor smelled like chemicals. (Could have been fresh paint but come on, if guests are staying there you can spring for low VOC) overall I can see they are trying to make it nice but as of now I would say it was probably better before the renovations.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the man running the front desk when we checked in was very polite and helpful. The room was amazing, only wish there was a tub but the stand up shower was very nice and relaxing. They already had 2 extra pillows in the room, which was awesome because I always ask for extras. The bed was super comfortable. I wasn't able to hear the people in the room next to us. And they have a tiny little store down stairs if you forgot anything. I'd defiantly stay here again!

It seems out of keeping with industry norms to have WiFi only for rewards members or at extra cost. The rooms were clean and modern. The location is good if one needs to be near the airport, but requires a little driving to get to most restaurants, etc.

We had a good experience holding our church minister's conference here. The atrium is very nice. The biggest drawback is the lack of really close restaurant options.

The rooms were very nice and the wifi is fast but sometimes getting a connection is hard.

Nice hotel, helpful guest services. Bring a bag lunch though, meals are extortionate and there is nothing much around the neighborhood to choose from.

Amazing customer service!! I had to pull together a welcome package and the front desk manager, Jill, and the bartender, Emily could not have been more helpful. This hotel is so clean, comfortable and always so incredibly friendly and accommodating. They make business travel easy!! A wonderful experience every time.

Newer hotel that looks pristine. Close to CVG airport and provides shuttle to/from CVG. Rooms are clean with nice amenities and comfy mattresses and pillows. Very relaxing. If you find a lower price online at another online booking site other than Marriott, they will honor that lower price for walk ins only. When I called they told me $119 for king room, told them I found it online for $89. Said they couldn't book the lower price over the phone but if I walked in and showed them the lower price on my phone, they would match. And they did!

The hotel was probably the best ive ever stayed in. The room was great and the bed was amazing!!!

Spent a night here before flying to San Jose California. My husband used his points to avail the room and it was so convenient. One of the privileges of being a member. The hotel was great. The staff were courteous and the facilities look new. The room was comfy with a huge shower. We were also allowed to park our car there until we came back. A shuttle took us to the airport and picked us up when we arrived. The pool was tempting to use but too bad we did not have enough time to do so. Great ambiance and overall exceptional service.

Hotel is okay, front desk is friendly. Only problem we had was someone entered out room between 10 and 11 when we were sleeping and apologized because they didn't know we checked in. Oh and the pillows are tiny!!

Great rooms and awesome restaurant. Stayed overnight and had a complimentary breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived late evening at the wrong Marriott but they were able to accommodate us with a handicapped defeathered room. Excellent service.

The hotel allows you two weeks free parking with an overnight stay. This is a big help.

Room was okay. Fan kept kicking on and off, walls were really "thin" and could hear rooms all around well past 2 am. If you want to sleep, fo somewhere else.

There Service Sicks and the Desk Staff as well as the Manager Tim Herbstreit acted as if having a Dirty Bathroom and Tub with Hair in it as well as Sheets that was Torn , My family arrived two hours Passed Check in ,No Room Ready, So the Only Reason I'm giving them a One Star is Because these No Negative Point System , Stay away and go Downtown Cincy or Covington.

Surprisingly quiet! Clean, pretty. Howevee, had to switch rooms because the AC sounded like a goose in the first one. The second room's toilet occasionally ran loudly, almost like someone flushing it, but it didn't happen often so we just delt with it. Only two bath towels and one washcloth in a room with two double beds. No problem getting more though. (There were 3 hand towels)The pool and exercise room are great, no hot tub though. I would stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful. My room is nice and the ladies at reception were very nice. Before coming I called a couple times about some questions I had. The man that answered the phones both times was kinda short and rude. Made me hesitant about my upcoming stay. Perhaps someone else can answer the phone or whoever he was that answer the phone at least pretend to enjoy his job. But my stay made up for it.

Great service. Nice conference hotel at an airport. Airport hotels generally aren't this nice. Hosted our group perfectly. Nice restaurant and bar area. Rooms were very acceptable.

Clean but didn't like how the bathroom didn't have a traditional door to shut for privacy reasons. The frosted sliding glass door has an inch and half gap on either side of it and you can see right into the bathroom from any part of the room by reflection of the mirror and if the main door is open anyone that is walking can see right into the bathroom as well. Didn't like that feature at all other then that it wasn't a terrible hotel to stay at.

From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the very courteous staff, to the minute you lay your head down to sleep, everything was fantastic.
We stayed in the hotel for 7 days after I had major surgery to give me peace and quiet and a comfortable place to recover that was close to the hospitals. They were so accommodating and willing to go above and beyond. Will recommend this hotel to others traveling to the area.

Good location and staff. Nice large room. Very loud hallway noise with rooms next to elevator.

Tiffany was very helpful in assisting me with my reservation. She turned what could have been a bad situation into a great stay. We really appreciated the great customer service. All the staff we interacted with were great.

Ok hotel get location dinning was better then expected for hotel food. Only issue was they check some into our room who walked in on us while in the room. The other guest then wanted to stand in room and argue with my girlfriend that she was in the wrong room. It made her very uncomfortable.

Very friendly staff, smooth and efficient check-in. Highly recommend the Park n fly offered by Marrriott.

Very unexpected plan to stay overnight in Cincinnati, OH. Found Marriott hotel near airport on priceline. Completely satisfied with hospitality.

Great overnight stay before family vacation! We had an early flight from CVG so rather than pay to park we opted to stay overnight and shuttle from Marriott to the airport. They let us park at the hotel for the duration of our flight. The hotel has recently been remodeled so the rooms were very nice. The staff was also friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

Not my favorite Marriott. I m always annoyed by the walk to the elevators and then to the room. Not a great layout even though it was just renovated. The concierge room breakfast was not good and coffee machine didn t work.
