Much love to my long time friend Chuy! We celebrate our first date anniversary there every year! Sangria Margarita and Comida Deluxe. Feeds me for 3 days or more every single time. Wish I could take the margaritas home too. ;)

Good server. Tex Mex ATX..below average..fun place , kids said great happy hour value.

Had such a wonderful time here. Even on a busy Saturday night, every need was promptly attended to. The staff here are professional grade. The food was excellent! The drinks were awesome! Ashley was our server and this girl was such a sweetheart. She really helped us relax and have a good time. We were in town visiting family in the hospital and my wife got teary eyed for a bit. It's stressful you know. Ashley made us forget about that and focus on having a great time. Thank you Ashley, you're a special person! We will definitely be back to this location next time we are in town!

Huge portion sizes and great taste. Definitely worth a visit, just for the tres leches!

Fantastic food, it was at the original Chuy's off Bartin Springs rd, so it's by far the best. The food tasted authentic with a little tex-mex flare. Love stopping here anytime we are in Austin Tx.

I'm from NM and I love going to Chuy's in FL because of three things: 1) They have a food happy hour from 4-7pm every weekday! 2) They serve real green chile from NM, which is very hard to find in FL!, and 3) Their food and salsas actually have great flavor, unlike 99.9% of the mexican-style places in FL!

TIP: Order a half-dozen of their homemade, fresh tortillas... Mmm... Just like in NM... So good!

This place is really good and refreshing. It gets close from the real deal. The restaurants are very decorated with randomstuff but it makes them look cool. Their happy hour is amazing, you get free beans, chips, queso , and ground beef.

This place is has a super cool vibe and great music with delicious food and margaritas. As a large, boisterous party, we were most impressed by our waiter, Calvin. He was quick and efficient, but also genuinely fun to be around.

We pity tha fool who doesn't pay a visit to Chuy's ;)

I arrived tonight, with my husband and was told by your hostess that the wait would be 15-20 mins We stood there for over 30 mins and watched your hostess LIE to customer after customer telling them the wait would be 15-20 mins. After about the 7th party being told a wait time that's LESS than the time I've already been waiting, I asked her 'What list are these people getting put on where their wait is shorter than mine?' She blamed it on the system generating wait times. We left. The wait I wouldn't have minded, but to be lied to and watch other patrons be lied to is unacceptable. Either your hostess needs training or get another system. Oh...we received our table ready text around 15 -20 minutes after we left.

Best Tex-Mex I've ever had. The food is definitely made fresh and from scratch. Alot of the chicken I've had in my dishes, I can taste that it was cooked fresh and on the bone no more than 20 minutes before I get it. I've frequented this place a handful of times already, and I think it may have displaced Abuelos on my list of best Mexican-styled food for me.

As always, the food was amazing. Along with the service.

My favorite thing about Chuy's is their apps. Their salsa is super fresh, queso pretty yummy and guac is great! The fajitas are only so-so but gotta love the apps!

Love the environment. Still has good food but does not seem quite as good as it used to be. I have noticed this at Chuy's across Texas.

Chuys!!! Perfect for happy hour and dinner. I have never had a single negative thing to say about chuys even though I have been here probably 100 times. They certainly know what they're doing when it comes to Mexican food in Austin

My favorite Tex Mex in Austin. Gotta get the Chuy Changa. Parking can be difficult here sometimes though.

Hatch green Chile sauce was great. Ranch jalapeno dip with chips is a must try

You can't go wrong with Chuy's! Make sure you try the jalapeno ranch along with a Mexican Martini. The food is standard Chuy's which is great because you know what you are going to get.

Margaritas. Fajitas. Extremely fun decor. Must stop place!

Their queso is legendary. There is literally no point in going if you won't be enjoying the queso!

The food here is definitely a must have! You will not leave hungry! Very cool decor and in a great location by Zilker Park! The "Big As Yo Face" Burrito was definitely as big as my face! It was the best burrito I had while staying in Austin!

Very good Tex-Mex, homemade flour tortillas are delicious and there Queso is amazing. There mixed drinks and margaritas are very good as well. Overall very good service and food, very extensive menu.

Well compared to all the Tex-Mex places i have been to. This has in my opinion the best Mexican food i have ever had. It all tasted fresh and the queso had such a perfect spice to it. and the servers were always there when you needed a refill.

Amazing happy hour 4-7 monday through friday free chips and queso. creamy jalapeno is a great dip also, boom boom sauce is where its at.

They serve a great frozen strawberry margarita! Fun place.

Great happy hour, love eating at the bar. Chuychonga is my go to favorite.

Tex-Mex place decorated in a fun way. Fun friendly upbeat service. Definitely large portions and lots of different types of Chile sauces, many are described in their menu but while you can ask your waiter "how spicy is it?" everyone's palette and tolerance is different. So definitely keep that in mind.

Guac was good.

I got the veggie enchiladas made in a blue corn tortilla with a veggie mix inside with lots of sauce on top. The tortilla wasn't fully cooked all the way. They also have 2 different types of rice, regular & green chile rice. I ordered the regular but got the green chile so make sure you specify which one you want. Asked for more sour cream, got charged extra.

Cool fun place and would recommend.

Try the Elvis Presley combo with boom boom sauce. Its delicious, enough food for three people, and is awesome left over. Creamy jalaleno is the most addicting dip with their fresh chips!! The tortilla makers always give dough to our kids to play with and the kids menu is great too. Happy hour includes a free nacho bar. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is upbeat with silly decor.

Awesome stacked enchiladas. Awesome waiter Albert. Groovy atmosphere. Will recommend this Austin icon to anyone looking for good TexMex and a cool experience

My server told me she practically grew up in the restaurant and I hope to see her again in 10 years. She was warm and inviting and gave me 2 plates of food and a flan for desert

Worst Chuy's experience ever. Normally we love Chuy's, but not this one.

Food was overcooked and dried out. Service was horrible. Seating was packed in like sardines.

Definitely not worth going to. Head to the Chuy's on William Cannon and MoPac for a good Chuy's experience.

Went on Valentine's Day - because when in Rome - and had a great evening. When the staff found out we were vegetarians, they went above and beyond. We got to sample all of the vegetarian sauce options - ask for the boom boom. And we topped it off with tres leches, because why not. What a treat. Great food and service will get me to come back every time. See you next time.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I absolutely loved the food. The atmosphere was great too. I'd definitely come back here again.

The thin chips are perfect for dipping in salsa. Enchilads are my favorite. Chicken Burritos aren't half bad either

Service in the bar is slow or non-existent. My husband and I waited 30 minutes and were never awknowledged, though the bar was not busy. Waitstaff walked around us, and talked to each other within a foot of our table, but never served us.

The original Chuy s that started it all. Employees are prompt and professional. The inside is a bit of a maze and you ll need to watch your step going to and from the different sections of the restaurant. Food is great like all Chuy s restaurants. There is free parking behind the restaurant.

I love the queso at Chuy's! I've been going here since I was little and love it even now! They have really fun decor, like a hubcap room and even half a car hanging off the wall! Great service and amazing food!

I've been going to Chuys since I was little and it has always stayed the same fun and entertaining place. The food is great and their happy hour with free nachos can't be beat. It gets crowded though so expect to wait.
