Just one of the best zoos myself or my family have ever been to. The kiddos love feeding the giraffes and the entire facility is just beautiful. Happy animals and happy guests!

My first time at this Zoo I had a wonderful time with my family and I will come back again.

Lovely zoo, lots of animals, clean and zoo staff friendly. Prices for snacks ate pretty high. The is construction on the site for animal enclosure. Lots of walking be prepared.

Get there early and plan on spending the day. Great zoo! Great views! Workers can tell you what you want to know about the animals!

Was a nice zoo. Able to feed the giraffe herd. Have a sky lift to ride. Paid admission to zoo gives you free entrance to another sightseeing spot Will Rogers Shine of the Sun.

One of our favorite zoos in the US and that's not just because we live here. It's a unique setup with some rare exhibits like the giraffes which are an absolute must see. Great day trip for a local or visiting family to come. A must see in regards to things to do in Colorado Springs.

I have been a member for multiple years and very disappointed in the service that is being applied to the members. Tonight is member appreciation night ( one me and the family look forward to all year). It will be raining all afternoon and evening, so I called the office to ask if the member appreciation night was going to be rescheduled and was told no its rain or shine. So the members with no kids and that are crazy enough to walk around in HEAVEY rain ( estimated 2-3 inches in this time) are the only members we appreciate. VERY disappointing and I will not be renewing my membership after 5 years. Very very very sad managment

Beautiful zoo! The facilities are well manicured. The animals look well taken care of. It's a little cold yet for some of the animals. Will come back when it's warmer.

The views at this zoo were absolutely beautiful, but the animals were rather scarce. The giraffe feeding is the highlight of the zoo, and that's the first thing you do once you arrive. There were a lot of empty cages it seemed, and some exhibits were big in size and then would have just one animal in there. It was still a fun day for the family, but were expecting a little more.

I travel all over this country and Canada and try to visit zoos along the way. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is way better than most!

We got a membership after CONSTANTLY hearing it's a must if you have kids....We had expectations of it being improved after seeing it 10 years ago...We come from different cities where the zoo's are in better order I guess? Just not a fan and for the price it's not worth it. Parking can be a bit of a hassle and unless you are "in the know" as to what's happening there private events will send you away as soon as you drive up and that gets annoying-taking all the fun out of a spontaneous trip. Won't be buying a membership again sorry to say.

Best zoo I've been to! The animals were very active, the place wasn't very crowded, and there are so many fun experiences you can do. My daughter and husband loved feeding the giraffes!

Love the new exhibits. Love the grizzly bear exhibit. The walk down to the elephants could have more decorative concrete. But over all, a great experiance.

The Zoo is beautifully maintained. Exhibits are interesting, the animals are cared for by an enthusiastic and professional staff. I did not have the feeling that the animals stuck in a cage.

Hands down my favorite zoo. The exhibits are great, love the layout, but there is a bit of an incline if you have trouble walking. Staff is somewhat fussy, but you can avoid them. The shire is a must see too, don't skip it! Great views and interesting architecture.

One of the premier zoos in the US. Many many animals, great themes and extremely interactive exhibits. Friendly staff make this an amazing experience.

Amazing staff and prices arent that big. A little bit on the older side unlike Denver zoo but it is okay

We make an annual trip from Fort Collins to this Zoo. I'd never do that with the Denver Zoo... This place is ALWAYS improving, not just the appearance of the facilities but the quality of life for the animals. It's a unique zoo as well, nestled on the side of a mountain with foliage galore. I seriously love this zoo.

Very nice place, lots of animals. Got there later in the day and was still able to find parking. Unfortunately some of the zoo was under construction and didn't have all the animals. Overall grewat place.

Although it was warm when we went, it was a great experience

It's cool outside so the animals are moving around instead of laying around to stay cool in the heat. Nice zoo

This zoo is so amazing. I enjoyed going here and so did the little ones. They have a variety of animals unlike other zoos and the drive to here is so beautiful. Definitely recommend.

This is a great zoo. We went on a quiet day so it was not crowded. We were disappointed that we did not get to see the penguins as their new habitat is under construction. We were able to feed the giraffes which was a great thing for the kids. The zoo is clean and well designed. The food? Well, it is like any institutional food.

You can feed the giraffes. Wide variety of different kinds of animals to see and the pizza is amazing!!!

Good zoo, lots to see. The reptile exhibit is a little strange, but cool.

Beautiful Zoo and was able to feed the animals. The admission price was a little high, but at end of day had a great time and great workout!

Great zoo. The animals seen happy and well cared for. They have a successful breeding program and work with other zoos to promote education and preservation. They have a sky ride, (chair lift) girraffe feeding, goat feeding, a merry-go-round with a vintage orchestrion, plus lots of other unique attractions. I'm particularly fond of the orangatang and girraffe exhibits. Very excited for the hippos and penguins to come back too.

Definitely family friendly. Highly recommended for kids of all ages.

Went to Boo at the zoo and this was the perfect place. Very interactive with lots of things to keep kids and parents entertained from feeding the giraffes to riding the carousel and skylift.

A great zoo with great views of Colorado Springs. The annual pass is well worth the cost.

It's a nice zoo, but it was way overpriced and the enclosures are very small. I felt bad for the animals, especially the Giraffes. $3-$5 is too much for 3 small pieces of lettuce. They seemed very hungry like they weren't fed enough and the elephant looked underweight and depressed. If only it was free like St. Louis Zoo. They are the only zoo in the US that doesn't charge for daily visits. Need to step it up a bit and make enclosures bigger.

One of the most scenic places you could visit. The animals are well taken care of and always clean. Sometimes a day is just not enough for the visit. Two thumbs up.

This is a must see for anyone visiting Colorado Springs. This isn't nearly as tourist trappy as I thought it would be. It really is a great zoo. Feeding the giraffes is hilarious to watch as they slurp up the leaves. The views are incredible and there's a huge variety of species here. The food is good and doesn't break the bank anymore than any other zoo.

The zoo lights are the best! Every visit to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is amazing. It feels like every visit is personalized.

The layoutis really good for seeing all the different animals. Lots of shade trees too.

This is a fun zoo during winter. Nice to get out and get some exercise and see some cool exhibits.
Don't really totally agree with zoos but it seems like all the employees really cared about the animals and were having fun.

I was not expecting this place to be as great as it was. I see why it's one of the top rated zoos in the world. The view is spectacular!!

Top 5 Zoo in the USA... no, really! They are continuously voted as one of the best and one visit here will show you why. I personally like to go early before the crowds.

Unique setting, but not worth the $25 cost of admission. The Rio Grande Zoo in Albuquerque, NM is only $8. Some of the exibits are easy to miss since they dont give out maps. Awesome views of the city at points. The chairlift ride is nice, but you have to get off at the top, then get back in line to return. Also, the employee at the top was not wiping down the chairlifts like the employee at the bottom.

The zoo is wonderful but the prices are outrageous.. senior prices should start at 55 not 65...

Incredible local zoo. The giraffes were a blast and I got to feed a tiger. It's perfect for a Sunday afternoon.

Beautiful zoo, set into the foothills. Exhibits are pretty small and don't give animals much space. Being from Detroit, where the habitats are mostly open air displays without fencing, I can't give this 5 stars. But I did enjoy it more than the Denver Zoo, if only for the scenery.

We absolutely loved this zoo! We are local, so we went during off season and had the zoo almost completely to ourselves. We got to talk with a lot of the animal caretakers, and a zoologist that was on site with the orangutans! It's was the most fascinating and rewarding day.

Always fun to feed the giraffes. Plus you can feed the rhinos for 10 bucks
