Getting food from the kitchen takes time, but delicious when you get it.
The food is very good, the service Jesus gave me was excellent.
They forgot my guac and tortillas for my fajita's... How do you do that?!
Service is no good.you make sure have long enough time to wait for servers.not for quick dinner or lunch.
Ana our waitress was awesome. Good food and drinks.
Can't go wrong with Chevys. Great place to eat and watch the Blue Angels fly over the bay.
Poor service. They only asked me if I wanted tortillas after I was almost finished eating. And then they forgot to bring them again.
Service sucks here...food is great. If they weren't so close and on the water wouldn't go back.
Good food, awesome service, I took a star away because I felt rushed and because it was sorta the end of the day they ran out of Staples.
I really want to love this place, but it s gross. I expected a Chili s 3000 calorie bbq rib experience but ended up with overpriced, fairly bland chicken fajitas. Even their mega margarita (tipsy potion) tasted more like toilet bowl mixer than cheap tequila like I wanted. Ambiance is super vibrant, but I wish the food and drink were equally so.
One it's Chevy's, and than toss in a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay and what is there to complain about. So much fun.
Great food, even though it's not real Mexican food.
Party of 12 got seated at 815, ate at 945. Had to ask for chips and water 3xs. Lousy service.
Slow came in for happy hour 20 min to get drinks still waiting on apptisers emmeryville ca
Had my Birthday Dinner here w my family 9/4. Make reservations at about 6-6:30 and you'll get an awesome sunset dinner..
Thank you Chevy's
Slow service. Lord forbid you order a margarita..the wait..
The Floors need Cleaning Bad. The Chairs stick to the Floors.
Okay I've already reviewed another Chevy's at a different location, but I just wanted to say that we love the Emeryville Chevy's too! Best Tex Mex in California and I really love the brunch. Bottomless mimosas and the best chilaquiles! Alejandro has been out server both times we have visited and he is absolutely great. Thanks for everything!
Pretty standard Chevys. But there's a nice view of the water and plenty of parking.
Great food that's very close to traditional Tex-Mex. Awesome bay views add to the experience
Yo this place is wack. The food is overpriced and bland. Don't come here, spend your energy and time somewhere else
Food was expensive for the amount and quality you received. Expected either a bigger portion or better. Will probably not come again
Not a big fan of alot of the food here, but the view from this Chevy's is insanely beautiful. Waterfront property. Waiters are extremely friendly.
best thing about this place? the views. Worse? all the rest, including the food...
Can't go wrong with the Fajitas!
Complementary hot fresh chips and amazing salsa!
Gorgeous view!
Anna and Carmela were awesome they really took care of Shane He received cold tacos but they turned it around by remaking fresh tacos
AWESOME customer service
I mean, it's not the best restaurant in the area, but it's far from the worst. The food is ok. It is a bit loud.
Love the food and the view is a huge bonus. Parking lot is large but usually full.
Great food and service and a nice view of the bay! Only downside was the record temperatures and broken air conditioning
Amazing food, even better drinks, a service staff that is both friendly and on point.
Was told a 30 minute wait, ended up taking an hour. Food was decent, but service is understaffed.
Our waitress was wonderful very attentive and friendly. We questioned a $2.17 Surcharge, and were told its a charge for upgrades its something all the restaurants under the corporate umbrella charge. Isn't that why we pay excessively for sofa, beer and alcohol.
Sad!!!!!!! Chairs sticking to the floor. Don't to remember wouldn't eat in that place.
I only go during happy hour because it's not worth it otherwise. Weekends 3 to closing is happy hour. Great margaritas.
There are only two reasons that it even gets two stars. One is the food was very good to our busboy Joao was also on top of his game.
Let me explain. First we went in and it took a few minutes for a server to wait on us whose name was Juan. We had to ask twice for our drinks which took 10 minutes and twice to get our guacamole. When are food finally came we had no utensils to eat it with. One seemed to be oblivious to us and seem to be doing other work as they were getting ready to close. Thank God for our bus boy Joao who came numerous times to bring his utensils and to clear our dishes at the end.
The entire crew seem to be doing more work to clean up to go home then they were to wait on customers. Two of the servers decided to sit with a table and talk with them for over 20 minutes. On the drinks I ordered which were the same, they came in two different containers. Even at the end when I ordered a Mexican coffee it came with no Kahlua and no whip cream. When I asked that there is no whip cream he said they were out. I pointed to the flan I had ordered and asked him why it was whipped cream on the flan and then and he looked surprised and said it was different whip cream. Yikes.
We called the manager over and he asked who the server was and when it we told him we did not know at first because nobody had a name tag on he said "yeah that is one of things I'm trying to change." Really?
Like I said the food was good but in all the reviews I have ever done this by far is one of the worst I have ever given and it is strictly on the service. As far as I am concerned Joao should be promoted to manager and I would let that manager be a busboy for a while too. Maybe he would learn how to treat customers because Joao seems to know how to be courteous and responsive and efficient. My trip to San Francisco from Los Angeles has a definite black mark on it.
Beautiful scenery and the food was very good service was very very slow that but I still would go back just for the scenery in the food!
One of the best locations in the East Bay. Still remember when it comes as Carlos Murphys
Good Tex-Mex food, costumer service was awesome, our server Alfonso made feel so pampered.
My patron margarita was adequate but my food was sub par. I ordered shrimp and crab enchiladas with refried beans, no rice. The beans looked old and warmed over. The enchiladas had the appearance of 2 rolled flour tortillas with a green sauce and no sign of shrimp or crab served on a large plate. Needless to say I sent it back and didn't eat anything outside of the chips and salsa.
Did a good job!! Thank you. Food was good, on time, very courteous.
Worst service ive seen and experienced in as long as i can remember, which is a shame because of the beautiful location
I loved it! However, the check on took too long. The food was good and the servers were very. ttentive
Not a great experience. As soon as I walked in no one greeted us, eventhough there was a server and the manager ( I later found out) arguing about what side of the restaurant the server should work that night. I had to ask them if I needed to put my name on a wait list. The server just handed me a list and told me to put my name on it and wait. After we were seated in the bar are, our table was not cleaned and smelled like beer. Once it was clean the worst happened. When our food arrived , we noticed our sons cup of fries had cheese still melted to the inside of it with our sons fries. It clearly looked like the dish was not cleaned and who ever put the fries inside did not care. My daughter's dish that had her tator tots was also dirty. It clearly had not been cleaned since we could see 95% of the white container stained with who know what. Again, clearly who ever put food inside it did not care. That's how people get sick Chevys. We then walk up to the lobby area, because our server was no where to be found, to find some to adress this issue. Again the server/host (who knows who is doing what) told us she needed to get a manager Michael (same guy from before) and he would talk to us. When he came back he said he would meet us at our table to talk about it. We waited, but aperantly he was dealing with another issue, so we left. Would not recomend this place or ever come back.
Food and service were okay. Car was broken into in their parking lot at noon.
This love this place hector The bar tender is a great person I come here every Sunday just to see him. great place to come if you come ask for hector ...,.. he keep it real I been coming here for 2 years every Sunday watch the an chill
Today I am celebrating my cunple years here, today I did not have the attention that they always give me, they took too long.
Worst experience ever!!!! Was told wait would be 45 minutes turned out to be over 2 hours! To top it off food was terrible. Hostess was rude and not trained to host a large party. But thumbs up to our server! Would never go back.
They don't deserve 1 star.
What to expect: Bad service (Worst service i've ever experienced), over priced food, and over salted salsa. But two stars because the quesadillas were really good.
Beautiful view. Great drinks. Great waitress, I believe her name was Tasha . In and out service . Great happy hour menu.
Mixed grill... my favorite!!! Just wish they didn't close down all restaurants around & near me.
Nice place to look at the bay and meet a client. I have always loved Chevys salsa.
Great service. Nicest Chevys I have been to. For children with special eating requirements be very specific.
It was better than before. Service stil lags a little and food was better...a nice experience overall.
Took to long to get service waitress never came back they just kept walking past me and daughter
We are a family of 5, coming in for dinner for my son's second birthday. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, which was manageable for us so we waited. There wasn't enough seating so we were standing in the walkway with our 3 kids including a baby in a carseat and a crazy toddler.... 35 minutes later we asked how much longer, the hostess tells us that they are not seating anyone for another 40 minutes! I was shocked, we had already waited our time but when I voice this to the hostess she responds with telling me I can talk to the manager. I say yes, I would like to. Other families waiting are shocked with what they hear, no one was happy about the drastic increase in time with no communication to those effected by this. Instead of the manager coming to speak to me, I see her retreat to the kitchen.... we left without speaking to anyone. I had to feed my family and didn't want to take more time to just complain. Ridiculous and disappointing. This use to be a fun family spot to spend dinner, especially a birthday, I highly doubt we will be back.
Good service! Portions for a 3 year old with a price for a prime rib eye steak! Disappointing! Ordered the fajitas I had more rice and beans than meat. Flautas were soggy. Chips were really good though I would only go back for the chips!
good fod and great prices. wait staff can forget about you if yur off in the corner though
The food was GREAT! The street tacos were delicious! Our server Victor O was very attentive & friendly! He was on top of everything & gave us amazing service! We will definitely be back!!
This Chevys is definitely my favorite one! Chevys food are pretty much the same but What makes this location different? It has a beautiful view of the Bay and dining here can be very romantic . It s also very lively. Friday nights can be a long wait but it s worth it. Had my favorite beef fajitas and as always-it was great! Staff are very engaging and interactive. Definitely worth visiting! Happy eating.
