The customer service at this place is horrible. The Staff's attitudes are rude and unprofessional and the management is a reflection of why this is happening. I would not recommend ruining your dining experience here.
The food is okay. But the service is SLOW! Every single time I've been here the service has been lacking. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the margaritas, chips and salsa and the chicken flautas!!!
Good food. Our server was Ardyce...excellent. ..very attentive without being overbearing. Very friendly and helpful.
Very busy on Xmas day around 730. Bartender was amazing and helped us quick with two margs while we waited for our food to go.
During to the C 19 I had an amazing experience. Walked on the pier while waiting for out door eating.
Big bottle of hand sanitizer at the desk. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Now our waitress that was another story let me tell you. She was a beautiful red head real mellow and down to earth with incredible friendly loving soul, her energy brought me so much Joy. I didn't want to leave.

I don't know what happened to this place but it is not the same as I remember it being a while back. The food did not taste nearly as good as it used to. Not to mention it was way more expensive especially for $13 guacamole.... ever since I've been going to Chevys when I moved to the Bay Area 20 years ago I would always get the mix and match combo of five items. The enchiladas were dry and the tacos were smaller and we're not even completely filled nor did they have the same Chipotle aioli sauce that they used to have. I also remember the pork tamales coming with green sauce and now they come with red sauce. I'm very disappointed in the quality of food that I got for the amount of money that we spent. I feel that your local Taqueria will provide a better flavor experience also with more personality then with people that are just upset to be there. My mother insisted on going because she loved the Chevys and she hadn't been there in a couple years and I told her what she was in for. Now she believes me and the stomachache reinforced what I had told her. That's the last time my family and I will be going back. Two stars because I like the beans and that was it.
Not really crowded, but couldn't get any service. All the staff just seemed to be standing around. We left after 20 minutes, when no one even asked us about drinks, and we couldn't get anyone's attention.
The food here is terrible. It's gone downhill over the years. They can't even make Mexican (okay Tex-Mex) staples like rice and beans taste good. The chips are too oily and the salsa is boring. But the service is friendly if you don't expect too much and there's plenty to drink. They still remember how to mix a drink. Expensive way to get loaded though.
Catching a sunset while eating your food is so incredibly amazing. Their temporary outdoor dining still has a spectacular view, covid cant stop everything.
Expect extra surcharges in addition to prices listed on menu.
The only chevys that is close by after they closed Richmond. I still enjoy their chips and salsa.
Buser Jason was really helpful he was there when the servers were busy. Every time I come he's always providing excellent service and always on time. Again thanks for having a great employee like him. Keep up the excellent and professional experience Mr. Jason.

Great family fun place. I didn't care for their enchiladas. The black beans are bitter and they didn't have refried beans when I went there.

I enjoy this Chevys, its large and you can get a table that over looks the ocean. There Flan is the bomb, Melissa and I have gone 2 x.

Too busy on Mother's. The service left a lot to be desired. Because they were so busy we could not sit on the bar area and got shooed away by the waiter after sitting at a table. Then we got seated in the bar area. They were short on staff and not all areas of the restaurant were being used

Great location and views right on the Bay. Quick and efficient service. Good choice for lunch in Emeryville. Plenty of parking.

Loving how they added seating to the parking lot, even better than in the restaurant. I had the chicken wings and they were cooked perfectly extra crispy. Margaritas are always fabulous and the server was on top of everything. It was my first time at this location and I was mostly happy. I'm deducting 1 star because the restrooms were super gross and out of toilet paper. Besides that, this might be my favorite Chevy's location.

Yum!! Went for bday dinner... love the employees and the shrimp and crab enchiladas with the corn bread. Latina lady in bar section is the absolute best!! She sometimes works in Union City restaurant as well.. older lady with short black and white hair.

The food was good but service was super slow. I waited several minutes without so much as a greeting or a I'll be with you shortly. After those few minutes a pair was sat two tables over. I waited another few minutes and then what did I see. They brought the pair chips before me and they got their order taken first too. When the server finally got to me, I placed my order for a coffee and surf & turf combo. The girl brought me my coffee and then asked if I wanted sugar or equal. I said sugar, she proceeded to take the sugar container and brought me 3 packets, no cream was offered. When i got my food I was satisfied with it. Unfortunately, the server didn't check on me until she was walking by to talk to another table. I had to stop her to ask for a box and a piece of foil for my taco. Another woman came by with the box, and no foil. Not surprised. I gave the woman that brought my box my credit card because I still hadn't gotten the bill and she said she would handle it. Thanks for that. Overall, an okay experience but a bit disappointing.
The food was good, but my window got busted out of my car, and my back pack stolen.
Very busy, a bit of confusion getting seated, but the view from the patio over looking the Bay @ dust is spectacular.

Despite only ok reviews, we decided to check this place out. The food...everything from the chips/salsa they provide to our entrees, was terrific.
The wait staff was incredibly polite & attentive, there were waiters/waitresses from other tables checking in on us. I had a BBQ chicken salad which was very good, my wife had a Mexican dish of some kind & loved it.
The kids chicken fries dinner was enough for our two kids to share & we got fried ice cream. I'm not an ice cream fan but my family loved it.
I will say the parking situation was abysmal. The lot is a decent size but the spaces were so small, even for compact vehicles they were so tiny.
Excellent deal with the bottomless mimosas until 3pm on the weekends. Service wasn't terribly fast, and had an awful experience with them double charging the bill to the two credit cards given. We shall see if that's rectified in a couple days when I look at my account activity...
Probably one of the worst visits to Chevy's and I'm hoping it's just this location.

The flautas and tortilla soup are my favorite. But my husband and I were so shocked and disappointed that they discontinued the buffalo wings! They were so good! This last time that we went , we went specifically for the wings. We were sad. Plus, the food was not hot. Overall, I love their flautas but they better be hot next time! And bring the wings back!!
When I was a kid my favorite thing here was their fresh tortillas, and that still might be the case now.

Not as good as it used to be. I ordered chicken tacos. It came with a side of rice and beans. I chose black beans. You could tell that my plate had been sitting a while waiting to be served to me because my beans has started to get a little dried out and crusty along the side of the plat. As for my margarita, it tasted like orange juice. Won't be going back anytime soon although the service was good.
Our favorite spot for birthdays...Great visit with family! Enjoyed fajitas, salmon, and children burritos.
Not to mention the great frozen Mango Margaritas!!!!!
Went after a lovely walk by the marina. The first time out at a restaurant since the shelter in place nearly 4 months ago. We were a little nervous about how things would be managed but were immediately blown away by the care and attentiveness of the employees --from the thoroughness of cleaning and preparing our table and chairs to their kindness and impeccable service. Thoughtful servers and a hostess who went above and beyond. And the salmon and shrimp were really yummy. Very appreciative of everyone's dedication and effort especially in this time.
The food was AMAZING!! Very flavorful and cooked perfect, on everything from the chips n salsa, to guacamole, to dinner...I had the shrimp and crab enchiladas. YUM!
Don't go on Taco Tuesday the waiters make excuses that the kitchen is busy and give you the wrong order

The food has really fallen below average as far as healthy food is concered.
It took 45 minutes to get the wrong cocktails. Food was mediocre and took over an hour to get. Never again.
Food was good. But that service was messy as hell. There was no reason that waiter was overwhelmed... it was empty...
