I wish I could put negative stars honestly. We showed up...after calling and making sure we didn't need reservations. They said we didn't...and they were open until 11pm. When we arrived, we checked in and the hostess said it would be a 1/2 wait and we can only sit outside. So, no biggie, we put our names down. We sat in our car for 20 mins (they said they would text when the table was ready) we got a call from the hostess saying they were sorry but they aren't taking anymore customers because they are closing! We will NEVER go back...I may have if there was even an ounce of care from employees...but there was not. If your looking for horrible service...this is the place to go.

I have been wanting Chevys for a long time. I finally get to get and have to wait after being seated for 20 min. Waitress kept passing us by. Served tables whi were served after we were seated. Not very good customer service . I cant say I won't be back but it will be a Long time coming.....Disappointed at best.

Food was great. Service was good and served in a timely manner.

They didn't bring my avocado dip I ask twice. Very disappointed

Terrible service 20 open tables and nobody helps us so we sat ourselves only to be told we weren't allowed to sit there because they are reserved so we move 5more minutes went by we said for get it amd walked out never again

Got high off my ass and came to eat here. They where very nice about seating my bf and i even though it was 30 min to closing. We got the sampler which was good but the guacamole tasted like pencil shavings and the staff was nice but quite childish. they where yelling and joking and being kind of annoying honestly. but I mean it was edible sooo....

Excellent service, great staff, waiters were attentive but not intruding on conversation. Overall wonderful customer experience.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying... Food, sadly at times feels microwaved. Bummer. I have given it multiple chances. Hey, at least they have alcohol!

We ended up not eating here. They told us it was an hour wait. We put our name on the list. We wanted to sit outside and there were MANY open tables out there. We inquired with Another server and she told us we can order from the bar and sit on the patio. We proceeded to do so and the nar staff refused to take our order and said we need to check with the server outside. we did... he told us at first he would help us, then he said he wouldnt bc he would have to clean off an area to accommodate our party of 6. I went to the front to speak with a manager and I approached the head manager and he said I am a manager and so is he and brushed me off to the younger manager.. totally disregarded the fact that I said I wanted to speak with a manager so obviously something was wrong. He wasnt busy either. Just looking over the crossed out names on the waiting list. The younger manager was polite and had I spoken with him first, we prob would have stayed. But overall they had us waiting over 45 minutes for empty tables. The rude manager tried to a person in my party that they are short staffed and that is why we couldn't be seated. We again suggested what the server suggested of ordering at the bar to sit outside.. he said he couldn't accommodate us yet again. Oh and they had a dog inside the restaurant too so it probably was best we didnt eat there anyway. We will never go back to that Chevys again!!

Really nice place to have some Mexican food and good drinks, the bartender is super nice.

I went this time for a retirement party, and preciously used this place for my father's repast. The staff is very accommodating and the service is very good. The drinks are very good and the views from the bar and patio are magnificent.

Not a big fan of this place. My Church family likes this place. I only had the tortilla soup and it was so so. My wife had the Crab and shrimp enchiladas. She said they were okay. I make my own tortilla soup and it better than this. So I hadn't been to any Chevy in years will not be returning anytime soon.

Great food and drinks, but waited 40 min to be seated. I think there is poor management because at least 20 tables were empty throughout the different dining rooms, but yet people were told they have to wait up to 45 min. And there was not shortage of personnel either from what I saw.

Overpriced Mexican food. Can get better food for much less $ from any taqueria on international Blvd.

Took an hour to wait for food, otherwise fajitas was delicious.

The service sucks! The waiters seem to give preference to Mexican patrons. We sat for 20 minutes without menus, everyone ignoring us. Asked several times if we can order. Every time the waiter said "wait a minute" then walk away. Then I saw our waiter (old, crouched guy with attitude) taking order for the people who came AFTER us. That was really ridiculous. Never coming back!!

Really good food this is the spot to come to perfect view of the water

The food is what you'd expect. No surprises or disappointments. But the service has been awful on every visit. Not sure if it's a shortcoming by staff or management that's not supporting them properly, there's a major lack of attentive servers prompt service.

Server here works really slow, but food was okay. Casual place and nice ocean view. It was packed on Friday night. But Customers here were bit annoying...

Had a very friendly waitress don't remember her name. The outdoor seating had a show of a racoon and some Rats which there isn't anything they can do about it but I didn't mind. Watching some of the other people out for dinner and their reactions were priceless. Salsa is amazing. It was cold when I went though so prepare for the weather. It was a couple weeks ago so they might have tried to do something about the wild life but it really wasn't a big deal to me.

So my experience was okay the food was definitely better than the drinks. They were a little watered down but the service was better than it started. Overall it was okay for something to get out of the house and do but if you want any real dwankssss or food look elsewhere.

Apparently the manager and the staff do not know the parts of a chicken and think their clients don't either. They were trying to convince us that a quarter chicken contains both white a dark meat.

Anyone who thinks that should not me let anywhere near a restaurant. A quarter chicken is either all dark or all white meat. We ordered all white and received one breast and one and one leg and thigh. Then the manager tried to tells us how when you butcher a chicken it results in a mix of both and he couldn't bring me an all white quarter. Worse than that he tried to convince the person who had all white that she was stupid and had eaten a thigh without knowing it.

Don't try to bully clients and expect them to be happy bring what they order, apologize for mistakes and save the BS for your off hours.

And be an honest broker. When you promise to credit the bill for chicken I couldn't eat then do it. Which he didn't if I could give a zero I would. Boo to Chevys.

Floor was so sticky the chairs were almost nailed to the floor. Food wasn't great, portions were small, and prices were high. They're also one of the restaurants that now add a mystery "service fee" to the check that's not reflected in the prices, nor is it a gratuity. These fees should be illegal, and Chevy's should try mopping their floors once in a while.

Very lively mexican style food restaurant. Very lg. Capacity with eating areas close to fire or next to the windows with a view to Golden gate bridge and the bay bridge. This restaurant has easy parking with more than 4 handicap parking spaces and a rump for wheel chair or Walker, they have a bar and TVs in all areas of the restaurant.
The food was great. This restaurant is family oriented.

My family and I love going to Chevys! This past weekend we had the privilege to attend their hula party. It was so fun they had a DJ, drink specials, photo booth, and bubbles for the kids. This place is very family friendly. The staff go above and beyond our expectation. The food and drinks hit the spot. Our favorite part of this location is the watching the sunset on the patio, while enjoying our food. I highly recommend this place!

There's really not a good reason to go here if you like Mexican Food. The drinks are ridiculous, the food is guilt-inducing, and the floor is strangely greasy and slightly dangerous to walk on. The food took forever to come and was cold. There is a decent bay view. That's about it.

The people were definitely nice and the drinks were cheap. As far as that goes, it was good. We just ordered appetizers, so the food was average. The view was nice though; it's great place to hang out and drink and look over the bay. If that's your goal, then I highly recommend coming here.

We had an excellent time with good food, great waiter & awesome ambiance! The mango margarita TRULY delicious! The kids enjoyed the rice so much we ordered more! They gobbled all! I could eat more chicken wings but 4 was enough! Great resto location & easy camaraderie! We gave a good tip!

I rate every place on the first time being there. I waited 20 mins to be seated and another 20mins on the waitress. Good environment the food is good but I think they are under staffed

Small parking lot you have to squeeze into a space hopefully noone scratches your car door, wait time is not worth it very busy for nasty food, drinks were ok, never got my desert. When my food did come it was cold and soggy had to wait longer for something fresh

Me , my husband and my brother had a beautiful time at Chevys. The food was great and the beauty of the water surrounding the restaurant made it a marvelous place to dine.

My sister had her 70th b-day party here and the food was delicious. Service was excellent too.

Server was nice. We just never saw her. Drinks took 30mins food took 45mins. Wayyyy understaffed.

Fantastic View from the outside seating area. Went with a group of friends and I didn't eat myself but I did have chips and they were cold, I always loved Chevys a long time ago for the fresh tasting hot chips

Food is okay, good location, parking is terrible, service is some of the worst experienced at a restaurant. Tried 4 times since it is close to work and it's the same horrible service each time. 30 minutes to place a drink order with table server. 45 minutes to receive an entry at 8pm on a Sunday night with the place half full. Several orders taken incorrectly. Rude waitstaff.

They were very good about social distancing, everyone was really friendly and seemed happy for us to be there, the views are great, and the food was really good!

Decent Tex Mex food, but nothing out of the ordinary. The menu was somewhat lacking in original selections.

I gave my mom a 70th birthday party at Chevy's Emeryville. I must say the service was excellent. Damaris (general manager) was very accomodating. She even helped with the decorations. Karina and Milario were excellent with the food service. They worked very hard and were very attentive. Needless to say, the party was a huge success. If you want to give a function, I highly recommend Chevy's Emeryville.

The experience was terrible. Waited 30 minutes for 1 drink to arrive. There was no refill during the 1 hour following that we waited for food that never came. After sitting there for an hour and a half we finally just got up and left. I'll never go back.

Its in a nice location overlooking the water in Emeryvilles marina. Food is good portions large tortilla chips fresh. Try the fried Ice Cream its great!

I came here with a professional group after our monthly meeting and we all got a margarita or beer. The place is situated right on the water which was really nice, and it the room has a beachy feel to it. There's a back patio where you can sit above the bay. Even though it is very close to 580, you don't hear any traffic noise. The margarita was good.

Very slow and not that great service. Took too long for our food to come, our server didn't check to see if we needed something. Not good seating .
