Great rooms! Kids loved it, the park and swimming area are great. Be aware about the restaurant, the food is very expensive and the quality very bad !! We are a family of 4 and none of us were satisfied with the food.

We paid in advance for out tickets 2 for 1 with the vouchers from UK cerial boxes but nobody checked upon us entering the park. Considering there are visitor number restrictions due to covid 19 the wait times for the rides were still 80-90mins. Percentage of people wearing masks to minimise the spread of covid was about 50%. Hand sanitisation units were everywhere though. I waited over 40mins in the que for a hot dog, pretty bad that! Some food stalls still closed so the options were limited, top tip is take your own packed lunch. In my opinion the park is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 13ish, and ones who have not experienced theme parks in USA as the standard is then set too high, UK theme parks are very poor quality all round compared to say islands of adventure in Orlando. Our Children had a great time but overpriced.

Some of the rides are really enjoyable BUT you spend the day queuing for hours for every couple of minutes of fun and when you're not queuing you're probably hemorrhaging money because you cant say 'no' to the kids all day! And finally as a More

My sons 8 yrs old and I thought Chessington might be better suited to him but the park is better suited for younger kids, potentially 6 and under.

For under 6's the park and rides may be worth while but we left disappointed.

Disgusted, to wait over an hour for a ride only when it s your turn to hop on to be sent back not once but twice. Also didn t help that they did not update their website after half term meaning we lost an hour.

Lovely theme park. There is lots to do. Plenty of rides for children to enjoy and animals to c aswell. There r two play areas where u can walk up high. One is in Dragon Land (Canopy Capers) and the other is by the animals (Amazu). If it rains, then they have an indoor soft play area and a Sealife Centre where u can stay dry. We had a great time.

Went to the winters tail in december, was brilliant. Felt very xmasy. Only down side was it was very chaotic as in staff had no clue what was going on where, and kept sending us to different areas of the park and we ended up going around in Circles. Check-in to the hotel was also painful.

Great fun for young children and older children lots of rides that you get wet on probably about 4 I went on most of the rides apart from the vampire and a couple others because the lines are way to lol

The staff at the theme park all go out of their way to be pleasant to the public. It is outstanding to see such polite young people with such excellent customer service experience. They should be applauded and paid handsomely!

Excellent park and family adventures with the animals. Gruffalo ride is a wonderful experience and memory for children. Evening activities on our available package appear to be aimed at children around 6/7 or under. Dinner could be more flavourous but breakfast was fine.

I need to change my review to this. Cwoa has slowly gone down hill a lot. Prices has gone up so much but the treatment has gone down.

I also need to have a moan at Merlin entertainments:-
you should be able to up grade a Chessington pass to a Merlin pass as if you were up grading from a day pass.
And having certain days you can't go due to a certain passes is a bit of a joke.
Since you had the smiler accident, you have started to charge for all the things you never used to... Started to force people to up grade.. And put prices up. It a bit disgusting to be honest. You are seeming to forget about the FAMILY-FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE and just think about your pockets!!!

A great place for the most part. The animals are interesting and the experiences with them is great. We fed penguins, the keeper was insightful and friendly. The penguins came right up to us for feeding and it's brilliant to be so close. Other enclosures and spaces are good they just seem a little too small for some animals but that does mean you can get very close.
The food venues aren't very good especially at the prices but it's what's expected almost. The rides are good, fun and the wait wasn't too bad.
Parking is easy to get in and out. You can buy tickets online for the car park.
Tickets are a lot cheaper online the day before and even more so 5 days in advance. Staff on site at the ticket booths seemed poorly trained and it took 10mins to get our pre bought tickets printed, they had issues but didn't communicate with us. It's not difficult to sort out but irritating to be the first experience we had on site.

A bit of a let down to be honest. The rides state 1.2m height or under accompanied by over 16 . This is not the case . Measure your child and make sure you look to see what they can go on before paying the money to have your child disappointed the animals are brilliant and it's a nice place but I would not of gone if I knew my son could only ride on a few things

Love visiting chessington with hubby and our 2 boys. Fuelling dragons and tuck til turmoil are our favourite rides. Always clean and can see the upgrades/refurbishment efforts carried out over each winter period.

Poor first impressions, here for 10 still waiting for rides to start at 11. Do your tests on your own time. Costa shop 10 minutes wait for a coffee from a machine! Poor. Fast trackers being let on in waves so expect to queue an hour for a sub par ride with slow operations. Won't be back.

We've been coming to Chessington World of Adventures for over 10 years. Unfortunately, lately things have changed for the worse. Constant long queues (the top three rides, Vampire, Dragons Fury and KOBRA) have over 90 minutes waiting time throughout the day. On top of all that, two great rides, the Safari Skyway and Black Buccaneer have been decommissioned.

It was our first visit and we were looking forward to the experience, unfortunately due to very long queues and short opening hours we only managed 6 rides we left very disappointed as we didn't get to see most of the things we planned to see. All safety measures and social distancing in place.

Too busy considering the Coronavirus restrictions. The queues for most rides were well over 1 hour. Although there are measures in place most were being ignored and Staff took little action to enforce them. The park looked rundown and dated and could do with some investment especially considering how much they charge to visit. For anyone concerned about getting Coronavirus I would not recommend visiting.

Basic things missing. It was a dragging and sad experience.
Wasn't given map at the entrance
Spent 2 hours at the parking.nobody was able to get out and the cars were stalled.nobody was able to move for atleast an hr
We spent so much time in finding the rides that it was a good walking excersice. It is confusing theme park.

Few tips

1. Leave before 5pm otherwise you will be stuck in traffic. And no management of traffic. Congested internal road towards parking.
2. Learn the map otherwise you will spend time in understanding the confusing signs around you.

I will not recommended this instead go to other better managed theme parks.

We visited the park during the covid pandemic, controls in place including checking of people's temperature on arrival at the park, cleaning and spraying down of seats and handles on the rides was excellent. We felt very safe throughout our whole day within the park. We wanted to try the park as we had only experience Alton Towers and a couple of other Merlin Entertainment parks. We were very impressed with the park layout and rides. If you are going to the park be on the lookout for the 2 for 1 offers and make sure you booked early for the park to take advantage of the special entrance prices. We ate on site and was very impressed with the meal we selected. I would recommend

Although the weather was quite bad there were still lots of rides and attractions to enjoy that were inside. Also more rides became available as the weather cleared up. Great food at Pizza Pasta in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort

Not really that much to do here, sea life centre was good but not really to many rides for kids to go on plus a ride broke down while we were on it, hotel room we stayed in was nice but the child bedroom was right next to the hallway where kids come running and screaming down up until 11pm when my daughter went to bed at 9. So the bathroom should have been built against the hallway wall preferably.

Brilliant family day out. It caters for a wide range of ages, which is great if you have children of different ages. It's also really nice that it is not all about rides, as it has a really lovely zoo. I thoroughly recommend the Lorikeet feed!!

Do not bother going to the park yet first day of opening one would expect all stops to be pulled out had four year old and eighteen month old four rides broke down whilst we were queuing one had no announcement to tell us what was happening spent 45 minutes dtuch near front of queue and 40 minutes for another with no way out unless you squeezed your way back past everyone until rides fixed staff were very helpful but waste of time going

Always a fun visit, but we always do multiple days in a row, I can imagine it would be stressful and frustrating if you tried to do it all in one day. The queues as always are ridiculous for the bigger rides, I'm not sure how that can be remedied though.
