Loved the Christmas light festival. You drive around the race track to music that's playing in time with the lights. Stop at the Bethlehem Inn for a photo with Santa, vendors, petting zoo, food and Smores. Bring your own Smores and sticks to roast.

My husband participated in the Driving Experience. It was an awesome and amazing day and opportunity. We very much like the Charlotte track and have attended many races. We will continue to go to this track.

This is our second year coming to the show. Last year five stars. We did not like the music this year. We loved the s'mores and Kendrix Singletary. He is very talented and kind to my family. We had a blast.

It truly is the greatest place to see the race! But...there is much more going on there!! The Speedway Christmas is about to open with over 3.5 million lights, the Bethlehem Village, petting zoo, carriage rides, games and fun rides for the children, great food and so much more!! Kicking off the season with the Eggnog Jog Saturday the 18th!!

Just as they advertise, "The greatest place to see the race." It is. Friendly staff and a very nice facility. Certainly a crown jewel on the NASCAR circuit. Lots of race shops, restaurants, and stores nearby, as well as the NASCAR Hall of Fame. What more could a race fan ask for?

If you like racing, CMS is one of the best tracks to go see a race. There is also plenty of hotels, restaurants & shopping areas really close by. If you want to drive a race car, do the Dale Jarrett racing experience. It was one of the funnest things I've ever done. Getting to drive 170 mph a couple of feet from the wall will make you see racing in a new way. Wow!!!

What can you say about a dirt track. Awesome experience extremely well run and organized. Only negitive would be the price of conncession stands. $ 6.00 hot dogs buy yourself a sandwich at the firehouse and tote it in with you

We went here for the Christmas light show on 12/ 2/2017 and we were not pleased at all. We usually go to Bristol motor speedway in lights and that s absolutely amazing, we wanted to try something new this year and it was a huge disappointment, and the price is unreal. The only cool part was driving on the track which you can do at Bristol motor speedway as well. We won t be back for the Christmas lights here. It was a let down. The money they make there , they could have a way better light show. I recommend going to Bristol motor speedway in Tennessee. The lights are amazing .

I go to every race at the Speedway each year and always have a blast. There are tons of concessions, tons of restrooms, and very helpful staff. My only complaint is the tracks way of handling weather. The last two times we've had to evacuate the stands because of lightening in the area (totally understandable) the staff does not direct the flow of people. We always sit in the front row at the bottom and when people have to evacuate the stands, they congregate at the top and block people from getting through. We end up standing on the metal bleachers in the pouring rain with lightening in the area which is clearly a safety issue. Otherwise, I love coming here!

Charlotte Motor Speedway Christmas lights. We'll worth the 2 hours it will take to drive the route. Kids or adults, great time for all. Don't be in a hurry and be sure to stop for coco and smores at the village.

I was there for the Auto Fair on that Friday morning and evening and we was disappointed cause there was not a lot of vendors there or not open up yet. The gates open at 8:00 am and people was barely moving. It was 95 degrees that day and boy's was it Hot. After about 3 breaks to the car to get cool off and my friend couldn't find what he was looking for we decided to call it a day. There was hardly no show cars that day so if you going for the car show go on Saturday.

Fun!

***Worst memory of the Christmas season!!!!*** Dec 22nd we waited with 7 little grandkids for 4 HOURS before seeing the lights. Bring spare water, diapers, food, games.... The lights were cool, but it's not worth more than an hour's wait. We called ahead to check on the wait and were told that if we get there by 6pm, there would be no problem. We got there before 6, but it took 30 minutes to get onto the property - three and half hours later we saw the lights. There were no escape routes except right where you pay. It was memorable, and we laugh now but it was so painful and so miserable. They need to have a better warning system and information on the wait times. Go early in the season and early in the evening.

We went here for the Christmas light show. They thought of everything! Really enjoyable, even a place to pull over and take pictures. A fun family night for all. Some nice treats inside and some good photo spots

I have had the pleasure of working with the Richard Petty driving experience and now Nascar Racing experience and have driven 11 different track and Charlotte Motor speedway is definitely one of my favorites!

First NASCAR experience. I don't know a lot about this world, but I will say two things. The staff at the Motor Speedway were really professional, and clearly had it all together. With a crowd this size, it was amazingly well organized. Security was good, and the parking was well labeled. Even if we parked about a mile away, still easy to access the race. And second, if it is your first time and you haven't got friends that will level with you, hear it loud and clear: to enjoy the race, headphones or ear plugs are essential. Everyone has them, I'm sure we looked silly not having them. One negative I will say about the Speedway, none of the upper deck water fountains in the Ford section worked. That could be addressed, right?

Calling all Nascar and any type of racing fan. Go to this speedway. Entire operation is concerned about the fans and fan experience. Fabulous tour! Torino was our guide. Very knowledgeable, thorough. Ride around the track was great. Definitely recommend the Over the Wall tour. It is a great value for the money. Speedway restaurant is somewhat ritzy, caters to the crowd with money but they treated us well and we got great service and food. And, there are recycle containers everywhere. You know they are the good guys if they recycle.
