Went to the Speedway Christmas. The fold did a bang up job. Cool little craft fair with huge petting zoo. Activities for the whole family like writing letters to the troops, making a gift bag and station for roasting marshmallows. Enjoy the holiday drive-in movie. Thrill at getting to drive on an official NASCAR race way.
Was pleasantly surprised at how well everything was laid out to move fans in and out of all activities. I ve been for races & practices sitting in the stands, a suit (practice once) and in field for two races and if you are into racing even just a little you need to go see a race live!
I also go the the Christmas lights every year. Kids love it and it seems to get better and bigger every year.
A little off base but at the speedway is the Petty driving experience. Got to do a ride-a-lone! This is a must do, absolutely AWSOME!!
Went here for the Coca-Cola 600. It was fun! But It was boring watching Kyle Busch lead the whole race. But, there were some accidents, too. It was fun. May come back for the Charlotte Roval.
Saw the Christmas lights there. Every time we go we have fun with my friend's niece and nephew. Way better than Zootastic on the Christmas lights and things to do for the whole family.
All the people that work here are very nice and understanding.
Nothing like watching the race in Memorial Day weekend. Everyone should try it once in their life.
We went there prior to the Big Race and the atmosphere there was electric. If you are going with kids it's better to take seats in the top rows further away from the track as the sounds would be a little less and there will be shade. The crowds are nice and although the price of food is a little on the higher side it is worth to take in the experience of NASCAR at it's De facto home. For parking you get paid parking closer to the tracks and free ones further away. But even for free ones you get shuttle service to take you too and fro.
