I was just there long enough to drop my stepdaughter off to work. However there was a lot of exciting things. There were things that I had never seen because I had never been to the speedway before

This is an amazing place, the people who are running it are kind, warm, very friendly, and we're very good to us during our time there. I truly appreciated their kindness and how they made us feel like it was a home away from home. As we stayed there to escape hurricane Florence, it was not an easy time. I want to thank the staff for all they did. Kathy Lyle

After a few years of wanting to go, I finally got to go see the lights at the speedway! I'm not disappointed in the least. We got a $5 first responder discount at the gate, and the wait wasn't grueling at all. We got to see a few lights on the way into the speedway, as they have a couple displays for the folks waiting in the line to get in. The huge screen was playing National Lampoon's Christmas, which is always a treat to see, but Clark Griswold on a 50 foot screen was certainly larger than life. They broadcast Christmas music on one radio station around the speedway that is also synchronized with the lights, and on another station, you can hear the sound from the movie that is playing on the massive screen. All of the light displays were delightful, and getting to park and walk the garage area was just a treat. We enjoyed some delicious foods from the vendors inside the garage area, and it was nice to be inside a building where so much happens during the racing season. Inside the garage area, there were plenty of things to see and do. At the very end of the garage area, they had a small theater where you could watch the same Movie playing on the big screen, with comfortable seating and a few tables to enjoy your tasty food. The prices are a little high for the food and beer, but as long as you go into this whole deal expecting to pay speedway prices for things, it doesn't come as a shock at all. If you bring 5 non-perishable items, you get a $10 discount at the gate. First responders, military, and law enforcement also get a $5 discount at the gate, along with Toys for Tots donations. The lights were fantastic, the staff are all fantastic, the whole experience was comprehensive and left my family and I feeling like we got good value for the money spent. We will most likely take some friends and go again this year, but for sure will be back for the years to come. For the ones that were complaining about the long waits, all I can say is try to arrive early. We got there at 6 p.m. on a Sunday night, and had a blast!

Just wanted to make a donation to the Speedway Children's Fund again, and get to see the track with the Christmas Lights around it. Also, it seems that in the past few years not many people are showing up physically to do the same.???

I went for the Speedway Children's Charity laps this morning but unlike in the past they only sold passes online and then sold out, not allowing anyone else to participate. I try to go for the charity laps every chance I get because I know the money is going to a great cause, but today my money was no good.

Overall good experience but no water fountains that I saw and water was $5 for a Dasani bottle. Install water fountains please and I will happily spend my $6 on the tasty 16oz craft beers!

One of the better tracks in the southeast. Bruton smith enterprises offer superior customer service with each ticket. Service above what is normally accepted. Parking is very spacious and after the race, exiting the parking lot normally goes very smooth. Food service and drink confessions are very well stocked and each item is charged at a very reasonable price. Facilities and grounds very well maintained. Public restrooms kept very clean and sanitized.

Christmas lights. Very cool. Go ahead, if you want, and get the express pass...saves a bit of waiting. Also try to get in line before 6...get increasingly slower to get within the first hour...on a Saturday, at least.

I have never been to a race. I'm reviewing the Christmas festival.
Absolutely worth the money! You get to drive through a maze of lights, with a huge light display that's synchronized to a radio station. In the center there is a Christmas village.
