The food was good but, the seating was cramped. Not much leg room.

Fabulous show experience and tasty drinks. Food varied in taste and quality the extra 15$ for the prime rib was totally worth it. Overall a fun enjoyable experience.

Love this place! Just saw Sister Act and it was an excelent production. It was fun! And that was on top of the good food and great service. If you have never been there you're missing a great experience.

This was my first time there. I didn't know what to expect and I loved it. The food was very good and the show was well done and fun. Looking forward to going again in the future.

Great show "Holiday Inn".
Not an exact copy of the movie version but the singers and dancers brought a smile to my face for the whole show. As in the movie, the sad moment at the end brings a little tear to your eye. Good acting.

Be weary when you re eating dinner in the basement after a wedding! I found a silverfish on my plate!

Performances are always fantastic and worth the price of admission every single time. Waiters are often only friendly if you order alcohol.

Place was amazing! The musical was amazing! Food was amazing! I also got an almond blossom which is non-alcoholic and it was great! I really liked the kind staff and clean and classy building!

The entertainment can be described as nothing less than fantastic, and the food only makes this experience better. Top-notch.

What a treasure for musical dinner theater! Excellent food ... we've attended performances over more than 25 years - always fun. EXCEPTIONAL musicians & thespians! One meets people from all over ... our last event for "Newsies" found us with a delightful young lady from New York City!

We saw momma mia for the first time. First time to the chanhassen dinner theater. Everyone was super friendly and the food was excellent. We both ordered the steak dinner...delicous! Would have been nice if they offered pop with the meal...extra $. They offered milk, water, coffee or tea with the meal. The show was excellent! They were all great performers and their singing was top notch.

Cons: way to crowded. Tables were so close together that it was hard to move around. We weren't able to sit comfortably to watch the show (had to look to our side). There just wasn't room enough to move our chairs to watch the show straight on. We also got stuck sharing a table with another couple who weren't to talkative with us. Everyone was trying to talk over the people around them making it even louder.

Would I go back? Yes, if given tickets as a gift. Probably wouldn't go if I gad to pay $95 to sit sideways to watch the show and try to carry on a conversation.

Pg-13 version of Mama Mia. Had some good humor. Fish was good, but stay away from the steak.

Mama Mia was amazing. The Chanhassan chicken dish was fantastic with wild rice and delicious tart hollandaise sauce! Very fun show, excellent singing dancing choreography. We all had a great time already talking about going again! Great production all around, love Chanhassan!

I never thought I would enjoy theater, went 6 years ago to my first show, and I have been a show every year after that, always a great performance, keep up the good work people of the theater world!

Went there for the Mama Mia show and had a wonderful evening. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Everything we ordered was delicious from appetizers, salmon and cheesecake for dessert.

Service is excilent, food is great, desserts are lacking but the shows are amazing!

It's a fun night of food and theater. The one thing they are missing is a gluten-free friendly menu that's not salad. I've got a friend who would have to eat early because she really would not be able to eat anything other than a salad (which she hates).

Entertaining, food was decent, seats were horrible. There shouldn't even be seats where ours were. Way over priced for the little we could see.

This is a wonderful theater, with a long tradition of outstanding musical Productions and fine dining.

I've been here several times, and I am never short of Amazement at the quality of the production.

I would highly recommend the theater for a date, and anniversary, special occasion, or simply just to have an enjoyable evening out.

I went to see Kat Perkins at Chanhassen Dinner Theater 2 times I saw her last year and 2017 in December and it was so fun!

Great cordial staff and the food was delicious. We were there for a father daughter dance that gave my youngest and I great time to connect and be silly together. Lots of smiles and fun for everyone!

Went to see Grease as a group of six. We all enjoyed it. Great performance. Had top sirloin that was perfectly made to order. Service was good for how full the room was. The facility does need some updating, it is 15 years over do.

Great venue for watching a play or live music. Nice nostalgic feel.

I have never before been so impressed by staff. Very friendly, very professional, I can't say enough good things.

I took the family to see Sister Act, what a great venue and what a great show! We had dinner seats toward the back but that did not inhibit the view at all. I would be surprised if there was a bad seat in the house.

The dinner was fabulous. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection, not over done. Overall, the menu had good choices but limited.

I will definately be back again!

Best place to host a wedding. Had our daughter's wedding here in December. Fabulous job. The staff made us feel as we were the most important people in the world. GREAT JOB

Went with family group of 9 people, evening day after Christmas. Crowd was lively and all seemed to be enjoying the holidays and the show.
Dinner was good and service excellent. The show, Sister Act was upbeat and fun. All in all, a great night out.

The show, Mama Mia, was fantastic. Probably the best we have seen yet at Chanhassen. The performers are always as good, if not better, than what you would see on Broadway. The production lighting and sound is spot on. The live backing musicians are simply amazing. Truly professionals all around.
The food is wonderful every time. Their signature Chicken Chanhassen is a personal favorite. All dishes, though, are very delicious. The service is great, from all staff, from the moment you walk in to the time you leave.
Very definitely would recommend Chanhassen Dinner Theater for both the shows and the dinner experience.

Food was great as well as servers. The band was great as well. Hot butter soul you killed it.

Fun, high quality shows for every age. The food here is ok, but you aren't paying for the food.
