Excellent dining atmosphere. Saw Mama Mia with daughter. It was nice to dress up and enjoy great food, fun, and companionship.

Dinner and a show! The meal is good and filling, and the plays are awesome. Great acting and production values - they skimp on neither. We saw The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, both great.

Great presentation and great food made a perfect evening out

Mama Mia was one of the best I've ever seen and I've seen tons!!! Don't miss it! Food and service is always exceptional!

This was my first visit to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. I saw "Mary Poppins" and was delighted with the whole experience. The food was good and the waiters were timely and courteous. Now I am looking forward to attending again to see "Beauty and the Beast." My thanks goes to the owners and staff of this wonderful venue. Rhonda Erickson

Delicious dinner. Mama Mia is totally awesome, so lively and fun to watch.

My daughter planned prom for her small school here in the club room. Robin was wonderful to work with. Having the venue, linens, place settings, DJ and food all together in one package took a big load off. Everything went so smoothly and looked beautiful. We had a great time.

The food and service were excellent. We really enjoyed the play.

Staff is amazingly fun and friendly. Second time going to see Ma Mia and the the show was just as fresh and energetic as it was 7 month ago. Thank you for a great time.

Not only have I been to a ton of great shows here, with an above average dinner (how fun is dinner and a show, BTW?), our 7 year old just completed a week of musical theater camp and it was amazing!!

He loved it, everyone involved in the program, from teachers to staff, was sweet and kind and talented, and my son (and a whole chorus line of other kids) somehow learned 5 show tunes after four 2.5 hour classes and on the 5th day they put on an amazing show! Grandma was delighted, I was very impressed, he was so proud. Thank you for an inspiring week!

Mamma Mia was great! Server was friendly. The food wasn't that greatest and some of the items they listed a gluten free were questionable based on the ingredients. The overall experience was a lot of fun.

Love the theater! Love the plays & actors! Great wait staff! Problem is, audience doesn't have enough moving room to give standing ovation for the awesome performance!!

What an absolutely amazing performance of Mama Mia! Dinner was fantastic,wait staff was great (friendly and interactive). The entire evening was truly amazing and that coming from someone that "doesn't do musicals"! Very impressed and I'll definitely be back!

I used to love going to Chan. I've worked in the arts for years, and I understand that due to COVID things are hard on everyone. However, Chanhassen has done a terrible job with how they are handling the cancelation of Music Man. Other non profits have graciously offered refunds or requested that the amount of the tickets be donated back to the theater. Chanhassen, on the other hand, just sends out an email saying they are not doing refunds. This is so disappointing during a time that is hard financially for everyone. I won't be returning to the theater and will be letting others know of my experience.

Holiday inn was entertaining a packed house that night and we all were enjoying it.

The food was delicious, the wait staff attentive, and the show was great fun!

The food was mediocre and the show was entertaining, but less engaging than expected. More oriented towards married couples looking for a night out or parties where having everything in one place is more important than quality.

Went to see Sister Act. Great staff. I will be returning!

Had not been here in years and my mom and went to see Mamma Mia! The show was amazing as was the food!

Grease was a great show and I had the lasagna it was good but needed more cheese and garlic bread other than that I'm very happy

Newsies was wonderful! So much talent on one stage! You'll see these actors again and again so watch out World!

The waitress we had was great throughout the night. We had the Chicken Chanhassen, dry to my liking, but ok. The show ( Momma Mia! ) was very entertaining and fun.
I did feel a bit cramped. The seating is tight. My luck, we had the two tables next to us that kept getting up to leave during the performance. Can't blame the staff for that.

Staff is great and very friendly. Shows are fun and entertaining. Have been here at least once or twice every year for the last 6 years.

As a theater producer for the past 30 years, I always see live theater from a different perspective. Fortunately or unfortunately that just is the way it is. Having been the owner of dinner theaters and Artistic Director of dinner theaters in the past, I love to just sit back and enjoy the entire experience. Chanhassen has the entire experience. I had such a wonderful time, starting with the food. In my experience, if the dinning is a bad experience the actors are put in a very difficult situation to bring you back into the story. Chanhassen obviously knows this and does an amazing job. Not only with the quality of the food but also the amount of the food and choices that you are given. They have been in business for 50 years for a reason. I would highly recommend that anyone who loves the Arts or anyone looking for a wonderful time go to Chanhassen Dinner Theater!!

The Neil Diamond tribute was superb, most enjoyable. However, the music during intermission was excruciatingly loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation. Speaking about conversation, a number of people around us were having conversations during the tribute!

Worked a wedding as a videographer there and had a behind the scenes look at the event staff. Weddings can be challenging as live events always have wrinkles to iron out. Robyn and her staff were AMAZING, accommodating to vendors and guests and adept at handling any challenges that arose throughout the night. Oh, and the food was just excellent! Great job CDT, hope to be there to work again with you in the future!

Meal was great, service exceptional and "Newsies" was exquisite.

Good beef meal. The vinaigrette salad dressing was very heavy and difficult to eat.

We have been going to Chanhassen Dinner Theater since I was a little girl. I have been in each restaurant, each show venue and have absolutely loved each and every experience. The shows are wonderful, but the staff make dinner an easy and fun time as well. Looking forward to our next visit very soon!!

The home of Amy Adams. This theater will not disappoint. The food is great, every show they do is outstanding and the talent is phenomenal. I have been fortunate enough to see many shows thete over the last twenty years. About to watch Newsies. Look at me, I'm the Queen of the New York!

I was a little apprehensive about dinner theater (it s been a while) and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was excellent, the service was efficient and the show was absolutely fantastic! We saw Mamma Mia and had such a great night. I m looking forward to going back with my friends and checking out some of their other shows soon (they have a ton of cover bands and comedy). Definitely recommend!!

I absolutely loved the experience and I can't wait to go back!! All of the actors and actresses were amazing and I wish in the future I can perform there!

I can not say enough good things about this place. From the moment you enter the building, you are greeted with a smile and given an eta to when seating starts. The hall is decorated with information about the play you are about to experience. Being seated is almost a theatrical experience itself, as it is so efficient and structured. The wait staff was amazingly professional and delightful. The meal was very good, taking into consideration they are serving so many people. From the moment Mama Mia! started until it finished, we were captivated by the talent of the cast, band, lighting and how it all came together to create an amazing experience that takes you out of your head and into the present. I was truly impressed and will have fond memories of the experience.

We used to come here mainly for Stevie Ray's but since some of the main cast members left, we haven't liked it as much. Now we go to the main dinner theater for shows a few times a year. Food is good, service is alright, but the shows are always amazing. Free parking in lot or ramp nearby.

Bad experience. Went to a matinee, food menu was laughable. We were seated in the back row of booths could not see the stage and performers from our seats. It was so cold where we were sitting we had to wear our winter coats throughout whole show. Chanhassen Dinner Theater you should be ashamed of yourself charging $80 per person for that kind of an experience.

Wonderful food, fantastic performances. We go to almost every one on their main stage and love it.

Had a wonderful time with my wife. Great food and drinks. Food can be a slow at times

The show was fantastic, but I could only see about a quarter of it due layout of the six person table I was at. The booths are great, which is why they come at a premium. Do not bother with tickets in the third row (seats 5 and 6) of any table if you would like to see the show you paid to watch. The food was good, but the waitress was rather lifeless and just kind of hovered when she wanted something. Overall I felt like I overpaid greatly for the evening and dont plan on returning to this tired establishment.

The troop did an absolutely wonderful job with Mama Mia and this review is not a reflection on them.

Dinner was surprisingly good and the show was also really enjoyable! I expected a sub-par steak, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality. The show itself was fun and really well done!

It's always a pleasure going to Chanhassen Dinner Theater. Great food, wonderful entertainment, and a dessert during intermission. What more can a person ask for? I highly recommend scheduling a date night at any if Chanhassen's shows!

My family has been coming here for almost 30 years. My wife and I have enjoyed it here for the past decade together as well. Always a great experience!
