Very nice lodge. Claims to be a Spa and resort. I don't know but what I saw from my visit was nice.
The lodge was amazing. The grounds were gorgeous and there was absolutely no airplane noise. The breakfast was great and the people there were very friendly.
A hidden gem of a hotel that most Seattleites don't even know exists. In wooded surroundings, it is very near Sea-Tac Airport but bucolic nonetheless.
Kind of an odd area for a spa. Hotel for older people for sure. No in room breakfast- buffet style, not very good at all. Beds are comfortable. No refrigerator in room. Rooms are dated.
Driving through residential, it's hard to believe this gorgeous little place exists in this location!
After check-in and dropping bags in the room, we went directly to the spa to schedule appointments. As soon as we walked out of the building the room was in, a lady ran at us with her hand in the air, telling us to stop, and asking where we are heading. She made us wait for a wedding party and bride about to walk down the 'isle'. A short time later they were situated at the alter on the opposite side, she allowed us to continue through the courtyard to the main building... Walking completely around the property would have been faster..
At the spa there were only 2 available service slots (6 hours apart), but one appointment available 25 minutes from that moment. While inside the spa the wedding was already over, turning the restaurant/ bar/ lobby/ common area into instant chaos. Instead of getting a drink like we'd hoped, we went back to the room to kill a little time, also stopping at the 'little snack' bar provided. I love this concept, definitely not something you see any where else!
The gentleman massage therapist I had was wonderful. Kept great conversation going the whole service, I hadn't realized time was up! I wish I could remember his name for recommendations.. Besides having to dodge and weave through the wedding chaos going to and from the spa...three times, I'd highly recommend Cedarbrook
Great beautiful and cozy hotel! There is free buffet breakfast in the mornings. Staff was very attentive. Rooms were very clean and traditional. Will stay again and recommend to friends.
I was let down this time. 2 years ago I was here for a business stay and LOVED everything about Cedarbrook. This time, there was no parking open, I waited, and waited, and waited for someone at the front desk to assist me.. the dinner seemed to be missing something, seasoning? And service.. so slow! What happened to the quick service before? The breakfast was not near as grand as I remember before, lacking. I was happy to pay the 4 star hotel cost as I remembered how great this hotel was, after my stay this time I may be exploring other hotel options. The grounds are still very beautiful and location is great.
It's a real oasis in the middle of an urban craziness. Very calming environment, pleasant staff, superb amenities, and great complimentary breakfast
A menu for pillows. A. Menu. For. Pillows. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Best ever - like a resort minutes from the airport. Plus excellent food too
Fantastic facilities, great staff, wonderful grounds, and quiet! We love this place.
Cedarbrook is a cut above any of the other hotels in the area. We come up to the Northwest to visit family and when we do we always now stay there. We have done all of the chain places near the airport and Cedarbrook is way above and better than them for value and accommodations. My wife especially enjoys the breakfast buffet (which is included in the price of the room). The decor and appearance of the grounds is amazing. Great place to just "get away" while still being near everything.
Turned a guest away because your only using one building? Why?
Beautiful location for a stay. The grounds and woodwork are very well kept and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a hidden gem among the standard hotels. The business meeting space was very nice as well. It has a great fitness center and after lunch we took a walk around the grounds -- beautiful! The staff was great and extremely helpful. I would dock a half star for the shower as it was a little dated (double queen with walk-in shower). There was no caddy/shelf to put the soap or shampoo while showering. The water pressure was good though. Overall, it didn't detract from the overall experience.
Excellent experience from all points of view. David helped us at checking in and he was awesome. Great professional with exceptional customer service skills. Great choice of staff. Compliments to the management for this.
We really didn't expect that the place was nice and clean. But it was awesome. Room was clean, bathroom is huge, the place itself is huge. A lot of space plus it got that cozy feel. Like you're away from the city. They also have nice amenities; an all you can eat breakfast with various dishes to choose from. Experience it yourself.
Beautiful haven tucked in the heart of the city. Plenty of options for getting around town thanks to shuttle & public transportation. A little pricey per night, but very nice for the luxury-inclined travelers.
Decent food! Delicious!
And the decoration is pretty too. Venison is incredible!
Room and service is excellent. Perfect location near the airport but still in a beautiful environment.
Great boutique hotel & spa 5 minutes from Seatac. Give yourself a treat!
This place was fantastic! Nice and clean, with a great staff and tasty food. If I ever go to Seattle again, and I'm staying in the area, this is the place I'll stay.
Great location and rates. The very nice rooms ands setting.
Comfortable and quiet with wonderful service. We had a lovely visit, and would highly recommend.
It's about 25 minutes outside Seattle, so it's helpful to have a rental car.
Great hotel the staff was wonderful and it is tucked away into a nice quiet location while still being convienently close to the airport. I will definitely be staying here again!
We had a work event there. Pretty good catering and a really nice facility.
Had my husband's work Christmas party there and it was very nice. The food was good and the staff very helpful.
Service good, food pretty to look at but short of excellent, and quite pricey. Very nice ambiance.
Very clean throughout. Very friendly staff. First time here!
Excellent hotel and breakfast and family area with snacks and ice cream
Best hotel near an airport that I've ever stayed at. Definitely my go to for SEATAC
My wife and I spent a night here to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed a couples spa treatment and ate at Copper Leaf. It was a fantastic and relaxing experience. The staff are very courteous and professional. The room was beautiful and you can tell thought was put into the details of the amenities. Highly recommended place to enjoy a relaxing getaway.
Loved my stay there! Free ice cream, yogurt, and a variety of different snacks. Rooms are nice and clean, and the fitness centre was very well-equipped! Would definitely stay here again in the future!
Beautiful hotel! Trying too hard with some of their food options however.
Beautiful setting with outside dining by the landscaped gardens and koi ponds. Great happy hour as well.
Stayed there overnight while on business travel. Accommodations were good overall, with nice extras (Hagen Dazs in the lobby, donuts and coffee before my morning shuttle).
I'm deducting one star for their annoying spam afterwards. I don't want a "relationship" with some random hotel I stayed at for a single night. So far, they've spammed me with 4 follow-up emails.
Please be more respectful of my time.
Love this place! What a diamond in the rough. Everything you could ask for in a resort plus access to so many things.
I only gave it a 3 for the following reasons: The room was okay but smaller than ones half the price imo. They say they clean a lot more to make you feel better about staying during covid but went to make myself a cup of coffee and the machine had an old moldy pod still in it Just was an okay stay. Staff was friendly however and the bed was comfy. Also they charge $22 to park your car. We have stayed in many places and have never been charged for parking. They didn t even mention it at all
Cedarbrook Lodge was amazing! They definitely appreciate personnel who serve in the Armed Forces.
Weekend brunch offered at Copperleaf restaurant is great!!
Bar area is also decent and cozy for any purpose
Enjoyed happy hour in the lounge. Great place to catch up with friends!
Very nice and luxurious hotel! Very nice and quiet stay.
If you have ever been to Hawaii..You will feel like you are there again.. in this lodge with such amazing greenery, water features..and gardens etc... Deep Serenity feel to it!! Everyone working there was kind and efficient..Snack bar on every floor with Ice cream , cheese, nuts, and beverages..A nice Touch to a Super Clean Comfortable Room, with a Luxury Hotel Feel to it ...while being at a mid level pricing..We didn't want to be Downtown Seattle and fight for parking..etc.. So we found this hotel on Google Maps, Great Reviews.. Just like it is a couple square acres of Exquisite Gardens, Great Food, Happy Hour was Busy..Go Here.. You will love it!
We stayed here for our first trip to Seatle. I would say I was not happy the way we were made to wait till 4:00pm for our room. Not one minute short of it. We sat in the lobby for three hours. Apart from that the place was good. So please do not take this place if you dnt like waiting in the lobby.
Breakfast was nice. Bar wasn t good at all. We returned a few dishes as they were bad. But we were not charged for them... which I liked.
The most amazing staycation location in Seattle: feels miles away at a secluded spa, while only minutes from the airport.
Parking is WAY over-priced. This facility is top notch, though, and a brilliant departure from the rundown line of SeaTac hotels on International Blvd/Hwy 99. Very handicapped guest friendly; even have on- site wheelchairs available.
The conference space was just right for the event I attended. The food variety was appropriate for various ages.
Accommodations are very nice, modern, and clean. Front desk employees are very kind and inviting. Great place to bring your pup.
So pretty. The staff is super nice. Will try the spa tomorrow
I can't say enough great things about Cedarbrook!! I've stayed here as a guest multiple times. Once for fun with my husband, the other few times for work functions. All my visits here have been nothing but peaceful and enjoyable. The Cedarbrook lodge is quiet, clean and cozy. You feel like you're staying in your own cabin suite. And the location can't be beat! So close to the airport, freeway and fun town of Burien. With how classy and modern this place is you'd never suspect it's close to the airport!
Now for the restaurant - another five stars! Always amazing service, my mom and I come here whenever she is in town from Chicago. We've sat out on the patio during summer and all the servers always have wonderful recommendations. The wine is fabulous as well, the food and wine is always as local as it can get and always so very fresh. If you have to stay near the airport, do yourself a favor, spoil yourself a little and stay here!
THis place was amazing!!! A diamond in the ruff! Live in Seattle area for 30 years and never heard about this place. The customer service is the best I ve ever experienced. The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained. The rooms are very clean and the bed was amazing!! Slept like a baby. The free ice cream and late night snacks are a nice little bonus! And the free breakfast is amazing!!! I would give this place 10 stars if I could thanks cedarbrook keep up the good work! I will definitely tell all my out of town friends about this place!!
Very peaceful grounds. Quiet rooms in nice forest setting.
The staff were very helpful and nice. I enjoyed the ambience they created. However, the group buffet dinner was ok. The proteins were dry. Now, the appetizers were superb.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern, the restaurants were great with options for all and my kids absolutely enjoyed the "living rooms" with a ice cream treat at the end of the day. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of being off the beaten path with the only outside sounds we heard being the occasional plane overhead. Will the restaurant manager was great to talk to while we dined and the front desk staff was awesome and helpful. We'll be back for sure!
Absolutely incredible experience, we had a wonderful time and the rooms were great.
Nice lunch, nothing particularly special but nice. I need to try the dinner menu.
I love it here! Lovely rooms, breakfast, and little living room areas
This hotel gives out a peaceful atmosphere. The lady at check in was friendly. Our room had a huge bathtub...great for a relaxing bubble bath. Complimentary breakfast!
Only down side was parking...$20 self parking $23 valet.
This is a nice stay! Recommended it.
I've been here less than 20 minutes, AND THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN IN..WHY?
THE IMMEDATE and utterly PHENOMINAL SERVICE WHEN WALKING IN THE FRONT DOOR.
MATTHEW, you sir, are truly one of a kind..you're character immediately set you apart! Your attention to detail, your patience, honesty, and and tenacity to deliver "award winning service"..that simply can't be taught. You are unique, and you have such a bright future in front of you.
Emily, thank you SO much for being patient as well, thank you for smiling, and thank you for listening..something most of us "millenials" need more of..YOU HAVE IT THOUGH!
LaTonya, if I could smell a Georgia peach from Texas. You would be it girl! I love your charm, your attitude, and your ability to help light up that desk even more with your own smile!! You make a person from the South (A true blood Texas boy here) ..feel right at home! Even when they are over 1,500 miles from home.
Laronzo..DUDE!! WHAT INTEGRITY!!! (The ability and desire to do the right thing, even when no one is looking)..
ALL OF THESE STEWARDS OF SERVICE FOR CEDARBROOK JUST LITERALLY "FLOORED" ME, WITH SUCH KINDNESS!!
I wanted to make this review! I needed to make this review! And truthfully, I want to book a second room now, just so I can do another review..
If you're looking for VIP/Diamond Level quality..this property, these people..ARE JUST UNMATCHED!!
I LOVE CEDARBROOK LODGE!!!!
SINCERELY,
MOTOMARRS FROM TEXAS!!!!!
Great service, amazing facilities, was really looked after!
Always great, weekends in the fall can be really reasonable so watch the rates. It doesn't get such high ratings for nothing, one of the best in Seattle!
Attended a company holiday party and spent the night. Amenities are great, and the food was tasty. The catering was a little lack luster. They were probably stretched thin with multiple parties, but on several occasions, plates and trays of food and appetizers went empty and were replaced several minutes later. The food was tasty but was a little heavy on the salad options(4) as opposed to main dishes(2) and other sides(2). We had a good group that wanted to hang out much after the main party had ended, and we were told to head down to the restaurant or bar, only to find out both of those were closing at 11. Kinda killed the mood.
Our stay ended up decent enough, but initial impression wasn't positive. Upon check-in, which took longer than I'd have expected (under staffed), we went to our room to order room service about 8:30pm. We got to our room, and looked in the hotel registry to find the menu, and it was missing - so we had to walk back to the front desk (5min walk) to get a menu. When we got there, had to wait 2 mins for someone to appear at the desk, but they were very helpful. At that point we decided instead to go to the bar to order dinner... It wasn't too busy, but after sitting at a table and waiting for about 15-20mins to just get a menu, we gave up and walked back to the room to try room service. At this point it's nearly 9:15pm, and room service I'm told closes at 10pm, so, i call room service. Sadly, it goes straight to a voice mail, saying the staff and busy and to leave a message and they'll call back. I leave a detailed message, and hang up to await their callback. After waiting 10mins, we called it quits and went to Wendy's down the street to get food. Not what we had hoped for on our childless night away. After that, though, everything was fine- from the quietness and comfy bed. All in all, I'd say it could have been a 4 star getaway if things went better.
Had dinner here and it was delicious. Service was wonderful. Overall it was a great experience.
Always a delight to stay. Comfortable rooms, superb breakfast buffet and friendly staff
It was the best hotel I had ever stayed at. Seattle is not downtown, so I was more relaxed and nice.
Lovely hotel very convenient to the airport with wonderful ombiance and great customer service. The grounds are a peaceful oasis and the restaurant is excellent.
I like so many things about this place. What I didn't like was the pillows and bed. You can sometimes hear the airplanes overhead. The complementary snacks in the lounge are so nice. I expect we will stay anytime we fly out of Seattle.
