It was the best ever!!! I got on all the rides I could ride. Their was so many until I couldn't remember all the names of the rides!!! The Maverick was one that I remember. I got on the ride that's 310 feet in the air it was awesome!!! I live in IL and I try and fo ever summer. I have Great America but i love Cedar Point the Best!!!
Will forever LOVE going here! Been going since I was a toddler, I'm 27 now and my Husband and I have made great memories together here!
Fantastic park for rides. Food services are terrible. Lines for food are longer than the rides, don't waste your money on any of their food passes.
What an EPIC amusement park! Truly! We visit every year and have a great time. Even if something comes up Cedar Point does an excellent job of correcting the issue. Power outage or stuck on a ride (from a separate power outage) both situations were handled very well. Great food vendors and the drink and snack Bracelets are a huge win. And also Maverick is possibly the best ride on the planet.
I would have loved it, but with this mask regulations. It was hard to.
Roller Coasters were fantastic, would give 5 Stars, but many were "down" on a rotary basis. Friends lined up for Top Thrill Dragster for 60 min, then they shut it down. Steel Vengeance wasn't running the entire week either. Would be nice if they actually came clean and LET people know when you enter, as we walked to the back part of the park where it was located only to be slammed in the face... but I guess they already have their money. Fast Pass only moved you further ahead in line to join the main line, unlike Universal Studios, where you get a separate entrance to jump ahead of people... for basically the same price. Not sure it's worth it, but it was a weekday at the end of the season when we went (Mon, Aug 26) so we didn't but it, but could prove useful in the middle of summer on a busy day. Pricey though!
Loved it my Grandsons had a blast.
However Iam a large person 6'3, rides weren't made for larger persons
The water park is kinda gross, unless you like swimming with maxi pads and poop logs floating by your head. But hands down the best place to bring the kids! Wish they would accommodate guests of larger size on the coasters!
Do yourself a favor and get your parking pass and tickets in advance. It saves you so much time. This is the park for coaster enthusiasts! If it's a busy day, spring for the fast lane express when you order your tickets. It's so worth it. Also the app is a big help in estimating wait times and finding your way around the park.
Always an amazing time here!! get your season passes while they are on sale!! Sale ends October 27th. Season passes are good for the rest of 2019 and all of 2020 plus free parking!! You can also do a payment plan for them if need.
I had to give one star because it was the lowest choice available. Drove 3 hours here, paid $60 to park. Bought 12 tickets and 12 Express passes so my family would have a great day filled with family memories. The food lines were absolutely horrible. There were hardly no drink stations selling souvenir cups . ( spent almost $100 on those). Stood in line with 12 family members for 2 hours, WITH fast passes and the dragster broke down 3 times. Never did get to ride it.. then walked to steel vengenance, which was shut down off and on for almost 3 hours. We are currently on line for the millineum. Line is at a crawl after 2 hour wait (WITH fast passes). Probably wont have time to stand in line for any others. Absolute waste of time and money. And of course , not one person here to co complain to that even cared. Horrible experience!!!
Best place to go. I love going to Cedar Pointe. My Sister, My niece and I last month.
First, amazing coasters, of course. Also cleaner than many other parks we've been to. Lines aren't completely unbearable without a Flash Pass (for most rides). I can finally check this of my bucket list.
LeBron takes our family here each year, and we can't thank him enough.
I will never go again! People with fast pasts completely ruined it! Not only were 4-5 of the roller coasters broken, but the wait times for the open coasters were absurd. Cedar point has gone way down hill. Really sad.
CP is doing a great job with keeping the place clean and social distancing.
As far as park it was fine. Wearing masks all day wasn't. Not fun anymore with all this going on.
Best Park ever ! The best Roller coasters!!! Millennium Force is still the best steel coaster in the world. Road it 8 times. FAST PASS!!!
The admission price was cheaper than many other amusement parks butthe food prices were disproportionately high compared to the admission price. The rides are fantastic. The kids had a GREAT time and the employees are friendly. The bathrooms were quite dirty. Dirty bathrooms put a damper on the experience.
Horrible experience! We have been platinum season pass holders for over 10 years. This year and it s not worth the trip.
Too busy to enjoy. Lines are very long and they don't fill all the seats up so the wait is even longer.
Roller Coaster capital of the world!!!
It's been a decade since I've been here but I'm so glad I'm back. Every aspect of this place is just amazing! The rides are awesome, the food is actually really good, and all the staff is friendly and helpful.
We were worried coming in to it as my partner had a recent injury and was hobbled a bit on crutches. Guest services were amazing in helping us out and the park is AMAZINGLY "handicap friendly". We rented an electronic scooter to get around and all of the rides had access making getting to the platforms easy. They also have a program that you "register" for the ride when you get to the ride entrance. Then come back at the scheduled time and go to the accessable entrance. The park really goes out of the way for guests of a kinds.
Always been an adrenaline junkie. I've been multiple times, but last time I rode Steel Vengeance, and I couldn't recommend it more. Valravn is also fantastic, as well as Gatekeeper. Also Cedar Point has lots of online deals for tickets, as we just bought $100 gold passes. There are free water cups now, and certain food places are very affordable.
The park was very over crowded. I only got to ride the ferris ride, all other rides were closed due to some very light wind. Once in line when we were told one was opening, it would then close after an hour wait. Lines to the bathrooms were all very long as well. The other guests in the park were all polite and nobody was annoying while waiting. The Halloween buffet was an extra $26 per person, but it was very good food. It included pulled pork and brisket, all of it was amazing and it was a very nice themed event. I will probably not go again, since I wasted an entire day on just the ferris wheel as well as a lot of money on tickets and gas to get there.
They do not restrict how many people enter the fast pass lines now. There is now a steady flow of fast pass users entering rides which effectively doubles the wait times for all the rides. The entire 1st train of the Top Thrill Dragster is now dedicated to fast pass. People without fast pass have to use the 2nd (back) train. They are also now allowing people to buy season fast passes which would be ok except they are obviously not limiting how many people can have a fast pass per day anymore. The Fast pass line for top thrill was over an hour and the regular line was over 2. It's gotten way out of control and is just making everyone upset. If you buy a fast pass you're upset you spent a ton of money and still have to wait over an hour for everything. If you didn't buy a fast pass you're upset all the lines are now doubled in length due to the unrestricted, endless flow of fast pass users.
Came from Kings Island to do Cedar Point. Can't say I would do this ever again. Not all the rides are running (most of weekend). Fastlane Plus lines are over an hour. I appreciate that during Halloween weekends at Kings Island all their rides function and are running. Especially with the size of these crowds. Warning us before purchasing FP+ would have been appreciated.
The small children's areas were more manageable, but I still believe King's Island does better in this area as well.
Leaving last night during Haunt, the traffic was lined up out causeway with no noticeable parking left in the lots. MANY people were forced to park illegally.
People/car managing capacity needs to be looked at for this to be a better experience. We came in summer and that was a better experience than I've experienced (or heard others discuss).
This place is amazing!!! We had a fantastic time. If you haven't been here it's a must if you love roller coasters they have the number one coasters in the world and I went on every one my voice is gone and my family has had the time of there life
Fast passed are worth it! Never waited in line for more than 15 minutes
This amusement park is amazing. Always upgrading and well taken care of. They keep it very clean and welcoming for everyone. This is a park everyone should experience at least once. I recommend staying the night before for the hour early entrance to the park.
I worked here, and played here. One of the best summers I have had recently
Its ...um.... amazing. Just go. Ya won't be sorry if you like amusement parks.
Moderate to expensive accomodations located on the Lake Erie shore. Beautiful long and very clean beach, with a long and shallow walk-out. Cabanas and umbrellas with chairs free but limited. Go out early or bring your own. The beach front building are surrounded behind and on sides with the wonderful water park and amusement park. Several restaurant options, but we brought coolers for breakfast or sandwiches, and of course for beverages. My grand children are 3&5, and the water park was too much for them at this age. Our better option would have been the beach for the day. BUT, tubes are free, lots of different options for slides. Water pads, lazy river, and there is an adults only section overlooking the beach. Nights have entertainment and activities on the beach, fire pits and a long boardwalk, pools, bars. We loved this place and are already looking at plans for next year. Read the website, wrist bands are available months ahead for the parks. Take a peek on Black Friday. Suites and rooms at the Breakers lakeside hotel are pricey but convenient. Other accomodations are about 1/4-1/2 mile
Amazing rollercoasters! The Gatekeeper is underrated, but one of the most smooth and wide of the bunch. The Maverick, Steel Vengeance, Raptor, and Valravn had the longest wait times. Highly recommend the food pass. Wasn't hungry all day and we had delicious ribs and chicken wings among other food.
Some of the best Rollercoaster I have ever been on. Fast past is totally worth it if you are going during peak season. Stay at a hotel for free parking validation and easier ticket entrance purchase. The steel vengeance is the best. However, you are not allow to bring sunglasses, bags, and any loose accessories. Keep them in a locker. Trust me.
Cedar Point is always a good time. There are plenty of things to do and the rides are great. The park is less crowded earlier in the day and through the week. Cedar Point beach was beautiful and peaceful. Overall, a great park!
Went for the 1st time on Friday 8/16 and had a great time. Several very good rides had wait times of 5 min or less. Max wait times were an hour on the main thrill rides. Park was clean and not very crowded. There are rides for everyone.
Visit was great! Had a wonderful time. The roller coasters, even the oldest blue streak, are all excellent. My one complaint is: Instead of all rides having bins for personal bags & belongings that I may have on person, bins are only on some rides, while on others they try to make you purchase a temporary locker before you enter the line, and won't let you enter the line with anything. Please, Cedar Point, just put simple bins as at least an option on all rides. It's annoying that you're trying to force people to buy lockers. If someone were to steal my stuff out of a bin, it's my fault because I'm the one who decided to trust putting it in there. I think lockers are a good option, but when they try to make us buy them it's pretty gay. Maybe even have lockers be free. Idk. Besides that, cedar point is the best around!
Always a great time but the lines are ridiculous and the fast pass doesnt help us lowly people who dont want to spend $400 on one day. Still fun. Steel vengeance is a good time but if the line is over an hour and a half I dont think it's worth it at all.
Themedically designed an entertaining park for the whole family. If you plan for coming to the first time it would be good to have a backup clothes. Prepare for long walks because the content also has for some less eager adrenaline. Hello from Croatia.
Best amusement park in the world. Have already been at least 6 times this season and many more to come!
So many great rides! Fun for the whole family. To carnival games to roller coasters. My personal favorite ride is Raptor.
Trying to give me children the same fond memories I have going here throughout the years.
Very fun time had by the whole family! A little pricey on the food part but otherwise very fun time!
Had a blast at the waterpark and the rollarcoasters. Great time to spend with family.
Ok so... I am from Florida so I guess I didn t know what I was expecting but it sure wasn t the experience I got. So first of all, you need to bring sun screen and lots of it! All the parks in Florida have covering over their lines for the most part... not cedar point, we got so burnt! Second, and a big one, this park is not chunky people friendly at all! Most of the ride do not accommodate anyone that is even a little big larger, especially the rides that you sit and the bar comes over your legs. For most of those rides they do not have a seat for you to check out before waiting in the long line. I can t tell you the amount of people that I witnessed not fit in the rides and it was sad. Also the fast pass is so expense but a must have! The lines say 30 mins but and hour and a half later... we paid $105 to get a fast pass, but honestly there is no other option or else you spend all your time in lines! So if you go, make sure you bring sun screen and if you are over weight, sorry but don t waste the money!
No customer service. Bought tickets, that had no clear expiration date, but cedar point said they were expired. What a bunch of trickery. This place is dishonest, and we are thoroughly disappointed. We will avoid this place
Cant get on a ride because you dont get a pass at the ride at a specific time. You should have this on your website. We would buy fast passes but you dont keep your website or Google up to date
Cedar point is a very nice place to go weather with your friends or family. There is fun for all ages. But be prepared to spend money. Lots of nice rides and games. My personal favorite is the Raptor. Good food stands too but that can be very expensive. Ordering online definitely helps a but with the price and sometimes there are good deals online.
Always a good time! Can t wait to go back! Check out our full review on YouTube oh-Chi coasters!
Having the roller coaster capital of the world in our back yard is a treat. The lines can get long when the weather is good, but on cooler overcast days you can really take full advantage of the place and get in lots of rides with little to no waiting. If you are a thrill junky you need to visit this place
Had a really great time with the granddaughter and the family
They have some good food but they're rides I only got on a couple and they were fun
Camels!!! Oh my God they have camels! What else could you possibly want?
Spent 200$ On fast passes (plus) to wait in fast pass lanes with ride wait times that were 1 hr & 30 min - 2 hrs. Very disappointed! Not worth the 4 hour drive
This is the greatest place. I loved it. They have some really crazy and insane coasters and that's what I loved the most.
My first time visiting Cedar point. We took our roller coaster enthusiast son for his summer vacation. Was able to get reduced tickets through Groupon. Most of the coasters don t open until 11. We got there around 10. Good was okay. I d suggest eating before you go. But we had a great time!!
Lots of fun, lots of walking, lots of great rides, just lots of things to eat, see and do! Make sure you wear comfortable shoes!
Horrible experience!!
We drove 3 hours to have most of our rides CLOSED Bc of high winds !!!
We paid $100 to only ride 5 rides!
How do I get a refund!?
Packed to where every line was over an hour long and it took 2 hours just to park. It seemed like everytime we got in line for a ride it broke down or they stopped running them.
Always a blast at cedar point! Whole family spends the summer here and well worth it. Adding a meal plan is a must if you dont bring your own food. Average meal is $12-$15 no drink, while you spend $32 for a all day pass, get a meal every 90 minutes all day.
I love Ceder point, they have a great selection of coasters and I always have fun. A lot of the staff can be rude though and that is why I only have it 4 stars.
Fantastic roller coasters and other thrilling rides. Tons of tasty unhealthy food to indulge in. Friendly and safe atmosphere.
Tbh it exceeded my expectations. I had no idea just how awesome this place was. 10 times better than kings island.
Extremely entertaining not to mention all the exercise your getting walking around the park! There are amazing carnival games and the rides are to die for!!! Totally recommend going there ! So worth it!!!
Honestly my biggest complaint is that they have made it impossible to bring anything on a ride. It used to be that you walked on to most any ride and they would offer you a bin for items, but they have made it so on new coasters you can't even bring a water bottle. They do that to get people to pay for locker rentals, but ultimately it just makes people less likely to buy merchandise.
Other than that it's the same it's always been. Hot, crowded, and fun.
Been coming here since I was a kid and each time they get better n better . Love it
Enjoyable as always. Plenty of social distancing. Witnessed ride operators sanitize rides.
Cleaning frequently with covid preventions. Some main attractions and kiddie rides not open daily. Spaced out carts on rides which delays ride waiting time by atleast 3x. If you normally go for one day, go for two days. Tge wait times are so much longer with limited availability per rotation/cleaning ride every time. 12 it so kiddie attractions active on rotation and roughly 15 active thriller level 5 rides.
It was pretty fun, been over 20 years since I went, besides the long wait at the new ride, Just depends what day you go might not be as busy obviously, and understandable about the long line at a new ride, so just get that if you want and enjoy your other rides they could get on faster And have a better day and enjoy the time You have all day riding other rides, if you're afraid of heights I'm sorry lol
Super fun family time. Only suggestion I'd like to make is the ease of the refill stations for the all day drinks. You shouldn't have to wait in line for 30 minutes just to get a drink refilled. Maybe sporadic locations dedicated to drinks....outside of that we had a ball!
Did a decent job of COVID social distancing and other controls for the pandemic. I'd like to go again in regular times.
I love it I can t imagine why anyone would hate this place! The staff are doing there best and I can t wait for it to be open to the public again!!!
BUNCHA RIDES WERE DOWN. JOY TO THE OVER PRICED FOOD! THE MAGNUM WAS SO JERKY THAT I SHOULDA BROUGHT AN TO HOLD ON TO.
Everything was closed down or needed to have a pass
There's literally a million things to do. Staff are very friendly and seem very happy about their jobs. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there's were more than a few rides that were continuously shut down and the lines for the rides were very long with a very long wait which is understandable for as many people that were there however their were mutiple people skipping lines on a lot of rides and the staff not doing anything about that. That was very frustrating to those of us who have already been standing there for an hour and then others were just aloud to move up in front of everyone else to be with their friends. It's overall a good place to go if your looking to have fun and a great place for a family outing but everything is VERY expensive.
My husband and I love Cedar Point. You won't be disappointed if you are a roller coaster junkie! We always find great deals online. We bought our tickets pre-season so we got them cheaper on a deal they were having. They always have a funpix package for your ride photos, which pays for itself! The staff is always friendly and helpful.
I loved going to cedar point! It is a great place to go with family, friends, school groups and more. Food tastes really good and the rides are very thrilling. I recommend going to cedar point if you live close. The steel vengeance is an amazing ride but you can't have your phone in your pocket at all. So make sure you have a non rider or a locker rented. The games and arcade are also fun places to go.
My favorite amusement park! I go to Cedar Point whenever I get the chance. Don t miss it!
I've been there over a dozen times. If you love roller coasters, this is a place you definitely need to visit!
After 3 hrs we only had one ride. Extremely inefficient in runing the rides, even with the extra cleaning precautions other parks are much more efficient. Most rides are at less than half capacity and many thrillers are closed. A waste of money.
Been going to cedar point since i was a little kind and it never gets old
I absolutely love this park. My friends and I had an absolute blast. It was a perfect day to go. We only waited 30 minutes at max for rides. Some we didn't wait at all. Great day!!
What a nightmare... lots of rides not running... 50% of the people don t understand what 6 foot looks like... lots of people not wearing masks... the rides that are running the line times are longer then I ever seen... we where able to ride one thing before we gave up and got out...
Maybe next year
I don't how you have to pay for lockers if your belongings aren't allowed on the ride. The rollercoasters are pretty good, but the waits are long. I would recommend this to thrill seekers.
In eighth grade 'I' stubbed my toe here and limped around for the rest of the day.
I won t lie the rollercoasters were absolutely amazing but the employees were some of the most disrespectful and rude people I have ever interacted with. It was not just one person but several encounters on various rides and organizations. The first issue was when my boyfriend (who had a disability) was given an arrive time for Millennium. My boyfriend used a handicap elevator and the worker at the top of the elevator marked off his disability line so when we returned we were told by Hunter that we were out of luck because it was crossed out and didn t care that we hadn t rode. He would only give us a new time and would not even lower the wait time. When we went to guest services they fixed the issue and got us on. Then, we are trying to get a photo at 7:35 and our bus left at 8:00. We purchased a frame that they did not have in stock (which they did not tell us before purchase) and told us to go to another booth to get it. So we SPRINTED across the park to get this frame and when we arrived Biebele (I do not know how to spell her name, short Asian women) was EXTREMELY rude. She told me she would not give us the frame or a refund even though there other booth said to just call them. She would not do it. We went to guest services and they called them several times and a supervisor would not come to help the situation. We had to leave at 8:30 (30 minutes after the bus was suppose to leave waiting on us). Not only did we not get the frame but an entire line was screaming at the amount of disrespect and ridiculousness that was coming from FunPix. It was extremely embarrassing and upsetting to have constantly been greeted by unsmiling and rude employees who not only obviously don t enjoy their job, but can not possibly be trained on how to treat a guest. We are not the kind of people to complain about things but this was one of the most miserable experiences I have ever had and it practically ruined our entire experience with amazing roller coasters but with a horrible staff. I would not recommend if you are hoping to see people who enjoy their jobs or want to be treated with respect.
