Fun as always, even though too many rides are not ...
Fun as always, even though too many rides are not working.
Fun as always, even though too many rides are not working.
I just love this place! Nice staff, great rides, had fun!
This place is always too much fun. Roller coasters here are unmatched anywhere in the world.
Exciting my first time WOW although my febutar for water has not decline but I'll surely make it an event to go back
Do not recommend going to cedar point this year. They do not actually enforce any of their posted covid-19 prevention policies. One of the Secuirty officers actually said no one is social distancing, so why are you worried about it to me after an altercation with a group of teenagers who refused to abide by the 6 foot LAW. I was sorely unimpressed with my experience and will be reporting it to the local health department.
So much fun! Some of the scariest rides I have ever seen. Old rides, new rides. You will get soaked on the water rides for sure! Pay for a locker or you will get your phone or key fob wet! Bring a change of clothes or wear a bathing suit. Buy tickets online, they are cheaper that way!
fun place, the drink wrist band was awesome. the park was very clean and tidy. most rides were open the whole day
Great place for family and friends, had lots of fun. Definitely coming back.
Such a fun great time. Wether it's with family, kids, adults... There is something for everyone. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is just so expensive. If you go make sure you bring enough money for food and drinks and anything extra you may want to do.
*THE* place to go if you love roller coasters! Clean and fun for the family.
They heavily prioritize fast lane over normal customers. We waited for 2+ hours for every ride while fast lanes walked on in no time. This not only makes you feel bad but also means that normal customers will go on far fewer rides. If it takes a fast lane person 15 minutes, and a normal person 2 hours, then each fast lane customer uses the equivalent of 8 normal riders worth of capacity.
So when you see a line of 10 in fast lane, know that it's effectively 80 people in front of you.
I went here with my boyfriend last year and we had so much fun!! I feel like the only way to go is if you get a fast pass though. I would have only been able to ride 2 rides if I hadnt bought the fast pass. And you get free food with it every 2 hours! Worth it! My favorite ride was definitely the Valravn!!! So scary!!
Always loved coming here. Lines are way too long, can only get maybe 5 good rides in a day. The people that work there could be a little more cheerful
Best rollercoaster and water park rides around! It is VERY expensive but worth the price. Fast pass is a GREAT idea and the best way to ride here and avoid the long lines and waits. Never waited more than 10 minutes with the fast pass. Monday's Veterans and service members are free!
Best rides! Do not miss the roller coaster rides! They are awesome! And staff are very responsive and friendly.
Do not come here!!! At least not right now. Most rides are shut down. Those that are open you have to get an access pass to ride at a certain time. My reservation was to be here at 10:30am. All rides were out of access passes by 11:30 am. I brought my daughter from Texas just to walk around and spend money on food. Soooooo disappointing. No refunds no nothing! AND they were still selling the tickets online!!! Rip off!
Only played Gangnam Style once while in line. Not even on loop. Never coming back.
This place is great for the family tons of fun the only set back is how expensive CP is. I would definitely recommend you being their chiod if they are over 42" tall
Been going there since a kid love it rides are awesome what more can I say beautiful time with the kids
I honestly prefer Cedar Pt to Disneyworld, Disney Land, the Lotte World in South Korea, and many others. Cheaper, and more rides. We always stay at the Breakers.
Y'all know the drill; $75 a person to stand in line all day with most of the major attractions being out of service that day. Luckily, I had discount tickets so, that took some of the sting out of it. Doesn't matter, I'm sure I'll be back again.
Really enjoyed this park.As a timid thrill seeker I tend to avoid the level 4 and 5 rides. This park caters to the adults who don't want to be tossed about on a ride.I loved the variety, shopping and cross park gondola ride. The Ferris wheel was also amazing. There are ample food stands and sitting areas. I would return if it wasn't so far from Toronto.
Love Cedar Point but the new access pass system needs some work. I understand why they're doing it but from what I've seen it mostly results in people waiting a couple hours to get a pass then waiting another hour or more in line for the 4 rides affected by it. Steel Vengeance also requires you to have absolutely no loose articles requiring you to put everything including phone and keys into a locker (cost extra). Apparently this is because someone's phone fell out of their pocket last year and hit someone so it's understandable but wasn't worth it to us as much as we love the ride.
What a great place. The fast passes are worth every penny!!
I can see that Cedar Point can be an awesome place, but during the time of COVID-19, the experience was less desirable. Wearing a mask all the time (yes even on rides) is bad enough, but the hot weather magnifies such discomfort. Plus, inconsistent enforcement and nonsensical parts of their policies are frustrating or worse. The park wasn't crowded, but the delays caused by necessary safety measures and operational inefficiencies combined to make excruciatingly long wait times. I hope to return someday for a better experience.
SOOOOOO AMAZING DONT PASS UP THE OPTION TO GO!!! THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! HANDS DOWN. BEST ROLLERCOASTERS IN THE WORLD!
One of my favorite places to go! I've been going here since I was a little kid. Best roller coaster park in the world!
Cedar point is a complete joke. So over priced and overrated. I would not have gone unless my work gave me free tickets. Still had to buy a ticket for my grandson. $46 for a 5 year old ?? $20 to park ?? Why ?? The restrooms were all disgusting and the park itself was very dirty and unkept. On a beautiful Sunday it was not very busy. I truly believe they've priced themselves right out the budget of most people. Never again.
This place breaks my heart. It used to be a great park with super rides(still has the rides), but now they only care about money. We went on a Wednesday and Thursday and the place was packed, except the ride lines. You have to get an access pass to ride the big 4. It is a joke 4 rides spread out through the park all giving out tickets at 11 and 3:30, that's it. So you wait in line to get a ticket for a certain time frame so you don't have to wait in line. The lines for these tickets stretched through half the park but its OK you get to stand in line in front of shops and food vendors to make more money for the park. Shame on them.
Absolutely had a great time! Worst part was the masks! I get it though! Had fast lane passes and totally rode EVERYTHING! Food was great and the people were exceptionally nice! If you don t have the Fast Lane pass, it would be difficult to recommend going during these times, but we sure had fun!
Scam. I understand covid precautions, but the park completely ignored them. It was packed just like a standard weekend. For spending a whole 7 hours at the park, you only get one ride in. You wait for a ticket for 1 hour, then stand in line for another 2. Seats were NOT wiped down. It was unproductive and unsafe. I love this park, but this was a ripoff.
Coasters are good but having multiple down all day and 2-3hr wait times for everything else leads to very little fun for a lot of frustration. Lackluster customer service with people who don t seem to care about making things even more inconvenient for guests. Seriously regretting buying season passes. Not the same amount of fun as a decade ago due to extreme lines and poor customer service
Fun park, amazing rides to satisfy any thrill-seeker. That is what the 4 stars are for.
I give 1/5 stars for booking through them directly. Cedar Point Express hotel is junk. Rooms aren't clean, I found bloody, used, band-aids in a drawer. No fitted sheets on the beds, only top sheets that move and put you laying directly on the mattress. Hair in the tub drain, and there was even dried blood on the first sheet of toilet paper I tried to use.
Pay a premium to be near the park...ok, but can't you at least offer a breakfast? Oh, no...you need us to spend money in the park to eat.
100% garbage hotel. Do not stay here. I learned my lesson.
I can't see me ever not loving this place. Been going there for 34 years. My parents used to bring me now I bring my kids
We love this place. The $99 special season pass is great. The only issue is the price of the food in the park. It can be very expensive but if you are expecting it, it's not a shock.
This place is a treasure and a family tradition! Halloweekends are the very best but we decided to head out during the summer and we were surprised the waits were longer. The ticket prices are bad all the different promotions this park has going on. The all day meal deal and drink wristbands were totally worth it!! There were plenty of options for food for everyone in our group (14 people) and it really took away the worrying about when and what we should eat. Great option for families with smaller kids.
The park had tons to do for adults, teens, big kids, and toddlers! It seemed like there was always some show to watch or character to meet! Everyone had a blast!
Getting in the gate can be costly, but there's always discounts to be found, and the rides are always worth it. A great park for coaster junkies and thrill seekers, with a wonderful Lake Erie setting!
Ok so I understand that the pandemic has affected us all and I am willing to comply with the rules to make everyone safe. However I expect that cedar point would do their part to make it an enjoyable experience. Ie limit the amount of people allowed in the park. Which is what I thought they were doing, as originally you had to buy your tickets in advance. The day I get there I notice they are selling tickets at the gate. When we got there we learned we needed to wait in line to get a pass to ride the newest rides. So we wait in line to get a pass, only to be told to come back at a different time to ride the ride. Come back at the designated time. Waited in line 1.5 hours, and the ride stopped working. Waited another half hour for the ride to get back on line. Then went to the next ride we were scheduled to get on. Waited in line 1 hour. Ride went down. And never was able to ride it. Long story short. Paid a lot of money and was able to ride 2 rides. The lines for the oldest coasters in the park where sometimes 2 hours. I would not go back till things are back to normal. Complete waist of money.
The corvid-19 has made the park not worth going to anymore, the double standards is getting out of hand, need to treat everyone the same.
Cedar Point amusement park is always a fun time! The park is clean, ride ques move pretty quick, and the coasters are GREAT! Being right on the lake makes for great scenery atop many of the coaster hills. The food prices are high as expected in such places.
The one ride I came here to ride is closed. I planned all summer for this day and now I just feel like leaving. Very bummed. I really wanted to ride the top fuel dragster.
We love the Point. This summer we visited 5 of the cedar fair chain and the Point is still king. That said, our experience at Halloweekends was less than stellar. In celebration of the anniversary they have been selling $99 season passes that were good for the end of this year, and all of the 2020 season as well. That coupled with good weather left the park so packed that we found ourselves waiting in line even for the bathrooms. I can understand long lines at rides and it's a fact of life at a theme park, but at the point where guests are standing for 20 minutes to use a bathroom, something has to give. Still the best park, but I think they oversold those passes a little....
Best place on earth if you don't care about spending a lot of money. We go for the Fast Pass every time. This year though we got the all you can eat wristband and didn't find it was worth it given the limited items you can order and from where. The drink wrist band is totally worth it however. Steel Vengeance is the best ride ever created.
Such an amazing place!! The best rides in the world!!
I used to come here every year with my family and it was great, but things have really changed. I took my kids up so they could have the experience I always did. I took them on the iron dragon for their first coaster and my son was a little scared so he was tearing up and one of the guys checking the harnesses asked him if he wanted to ride it. When he shook his head no the guy unfastened him & got him off then refused to let me off with him. MY SON IS ONLY 9! I had to yell for someone else to let me off. I was in a good mood until that happened, that ruined my whole day!
Not worth it with Covid... Complete ripoff... Friends have lake front house... Was so much more fun.. Swimming, tubing, skiing, kayaking , grilling out with friends... We will never be back to Cedar Point again!! If you do the same you'll save about $1200.00.. LOL.. NO BRAINER.. Most families want company.. This stupid Covid BS is funny... Just sayin..
Too many rides down, making for long lines for all the ones that were running Great park and awesome setting!
We love this place so much! We have been back so many times this year including for Halloweekends. All the coasters are great and we will definitely be renewing our platinum pass for unlimited park access and free parking!
Hands down the best amusement park in the US. It s clean, the staff is friendly, ride operations are top notch, and the collection of coasters is the best in the world!
Made me so happy to visit today considering they nearly were not allowed to open. They're taking the virus regulations seriously...saw lots of cleaning going on.
Love it!! Brought the family, and everyone had a great time - even those whom don't like big rides! The big rides were awesome with huge drops, awesome speeds, and some with lightning-fast turns! There was also plenty of food to choose from, including chains such as Chic-Fil-A and Panda Express. Be prepared to walk a lot and to take plenty of great photos!
Highly suggest the fast pass if possible, perhaps 3 rides are possible every two hours otherwise. Also, the later in the day restaurants were running out of foods and some were just closed. Unsure if that's since covid or not.
So much fun and so many amazing rides to choose from. Ride times were long but will definitely be back!
My little kids enjoyed being here more than they do at Disney. They enjoyed going from one ride to the next with very little wait.
The big kids enjoyed the moderate roller coasters. The adults loved the big rides. The seniors enjoyed the saloon show and frontier trail, old cars, and swings. It was a very hot day and Cedar Point handed out large ice waters to anyone who asked for free. That just shows you that they care about the wellbeing of their customers.
Great rides. It's amazing how far the safety and comfort has come over the last 20 years.
The rides are AMAZING. Absolutely loved. But the employees working with food are very rude and inpatient.
The lines were very long, but the summer night hours are great and allow you to experience more of them. The all day dining is good but drinks aren't included, so that was a bit of a let down. It was fairly clean and all the employees were pleasant.
Its not very fun because you are waiting in lines so long in the direct sunlight.... Many of the good rides were down for maintenance. Several of the restaurants sell cheap nasty food but charge you an arm and a leg. For instance we got chilly dogs from a place and the chilly was like eating fog food from a can. And it was 8$! You pay ahead for unlimited drinks, they give u the tiniest cup with no lids or straws and won't let u refill unless it has been at least 15 minute wait. The bathrooms were so disgusting!!! For a place that makes so much money they really don't have it all together.
Too many features not open. Too high to ticket prices. The only reason I gave it 2 star is because the employees are very friendly.
It was Nice,Nice weather,Drinks for Grown Folks, Got the Park and Meal Deal and the kids were Big Winner's
Great rides and workers always seemed happy to do there job and add some fun to it.
High marks for keeping people wearing their masks and wiping things for germs. As always, it was a lot of fun!
Long lines but visted for Halloweekends so we planned on the lines. Amazing parade we will be going back!
It was a great trip. Cedar Point is a roller coaster amusement park and if you love going up, down and twisting around than this is your place.
Always fun to go on the rides and great, friendly employees who greet you when you arrive.
However, it took us an hour to get inside the park, but other than that, it's pretty awesome!! If you want to have fun, especially with family, come here and you'll have a blast!!
It's always get to go here was alittle busy today But it's fine. I wish there wasn't a fash lane. and a Working vending machines in the line I got pretty Dehydration Waiting for Millennium force 3+ hours Either need to get the vending machines working or put Coke freestyle Machine on a scanner lol
Even in the rain we had a blast!! My husband and kids first time here. We plan to buy gold cards and return many times next season. I would recommend the meal plan as well. Halloweekends was every thing we hoped it would be, the scares and haunts were fantastic. Love the live shows as well. Cant say enough how much fun we had.
Extremely long wait times for rides and not many food options. Left early
The absolute greatest amusement park around! You get top-level coasters + attractions, great views of lake Erie, and a fun filled atmosphere.
Oh my gosh. We are 30. We ve been to plenty of amusement parks. We have a 10 month old daughter. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. we went on. Weekday in August. Not as crowded, less wait time. We spent all day there. We didn t get a speed pass (to expensive); but on a weekday it wasn t needed. It s clean, food is expensive (that s too be expected), ample parking, and fun for every age.
I very very very heavily suggest getting a fast pass for all the rides. Yes it may the price as another few tickets but from past experiences you will get 3 or 4 times more rides.
I'd describe this place as the most no frills no gimmicks theme park in the country if you want fun rides with shorter waits come here
This was my first visit to CP and it was ok. Arrived at 11am, tried to go on one ride but the wait was 4 hours, got on another line for an hour, ride closed down and we were told to leave, waited 1.5 for one coaster, waited 1 hr for the ferris wheel. Apparently the only way to get on rides within a reasonable amount of time is to pay the exorbitant amount for the fast pass. Fast pass is bs, you shouldn't feel punished for not wanting to spend more money. Food prices are ok but the park food is garbage and depending on what you want, you'll be waiting forever. The food trucks were great however. Halloween attractions were great, plenty of actors to scare everyone. Haunted houses moved quite a bit faster than the rides so although the lines were long, you were able to do a few. The park is great but I would recommend going on a weekday to cut down on the crowds as it will ruin your trip, or buy a 2 day for the weekend. All in all, from 11am to 10pm my bf and I were able to eat from a food truck, go on 1 coaster, eat from the italian "restaurant", go on the ferris wheel, win a plushie from a carnival game, get a coffee from starbucks, go to 2 haunted houses, grab some funnel fries, and go to one more haunted house before leaving. I had a good day but I was mainly there for the roller coasters and houses and was unable to do most of them due to ridiculous lines.
They need to accommodate larger guests. Paid $60 a ticket and drove 3 hours to not fit on to any of the roller coaster s other than the iron dragon( there isn t a seat belt). The seat belts were 5-6 inches short for my body type. They could easily carry belt extensions for these type of situations. I m not the only larger person wanting to ride the rides. Please be more inclusive!
Best amusement park in the world. The 2020 employees have been the best crew since I've been going in the 80s
I Enjoyed my day...i loved it...next summer will b a whole weekend!!!
Always have fun on the rides! I just don't like the long lines. Yall should have put the fast way thing on the gold pass as well
Tried to use a cedar point gift card purchased at Giant eagle. Upon arrival was told gift card was invalid, it was only good for the year purchased. However, there was no date on the gift card to give you this information ( no expiration date). Was forced to purchase 2 more tickets to enter park. Please put expiration dates on your gift cards in the future as I drove 2 hours to be told my cards had expired!!
I understand social distancing but there is no reason a family can't ride together. We seen so many empty cars being ran while we wait 2 hours for a ride. Then completely empty roller coasters ran in between.
Had a great time. I was really impressed with how well they are doing with social distancing and keeping everything clean, but it doesn't feel like the experience is ruined by the pandemic.
Over two hour waiting for one ride while rich people with fast pass ride 5 times before you can get on once. Even the old coasters take as long as an hour to get on. Do not fall for the $99 gold pass. You will regret it once you get there.
Kids had a blast. Long waits on the weekends. Weekdays are the best time to go. Some of the toddler rides were repetitive but still plenty of rides to keep all ages occupied for the whole time.
Only issue is the stress of the fast pass. The fast pass is worth it but costs 60 dollars more than the price of the ticket.($110) The fast pass holders really make the regular lines go slower. So people decide to opt in to having a fast pass and the issue only gets worse for others. What a RIP off. And 2 of the huge rides we wanted to use the pass for were closed all day and we werent notified when purchasing. Really annoyed. Complained and all they had to offer was a fast pass for a single ride the following day meaning that the only way to gain that benefit was to purchase a whole other ticket another 55x3 (group of 3 ppl) dollars plus another 20 dollar parking fee plus food just to redeem a fast pass for a single ride. Awful customer service.
Beautiful amusement park. Many package options. Wish there were better souvenirs with cost range.
Great park nice people id go there again. Very pricey though but its good
