Fun place! Will definitely return. Faced most of my fears of heights and I can t wait to go back and do them again.
Fun place! Will definitely return. Faced most of my fears of heights and I can t wait to go back and do them again.
Love this place. You don't have to ride rides to love this place. It has so much more to offer everyone. There is lots to do and is a great mini vacation or a full week vacation. The place is clean and an awesome place to go to.
The most amazing place in the world my opinion a lot of fun amazing rides just remember and I'm a larger person a larger person can't get on all of the rides so don't be shocked.. and it is the funest fastest and highest ones
Halloweekends. Let's start at the beginning. I was upset before I even got into the park. I paid for my tickets and parking online weeks ago. I arrived 30 minutes after opening and the parking lot was so full that even though I had spent $30 on preferred parking weeks prior, my parking wasn't honored, I was shooed away and told that the lot was full. It took 15 minutes just to drive through the parking lot to get to the preferred parking lot at the front, only to be told once I got there to turn back around and go park at the back of the parking lot which just took me 15 minutes to drive through. And I had to go to guest services to get my money for parking refunded before I made it into the park. Upon making my way into the park (after losing approximately an hour of my day trying to park and get my money back) the lines were unlike anything I have ever seen. Even the lines for food were as long as the normal lines for the rides. I waited in line for over an hour to ride the Corkscrew. I waited in line for 20 minutes to get a cheeseburger. The whole day was get out of line to get back into a line, which is to be expected, but these were abnormally long lines. 3+ hours wait to ride the Millennium Force. If you can't afford fast passes, if you don't have the patience, if you think you want to go and ride everything in one day, rethink your vacation plans. If you can go and have a good time in spite of the crowds, the pricing, the literal endless waiting, (even for the bathrooms), I say go for it. Cedar Point has gone down hill recently and they're poorly managing the spike in crowd sizes due to the special pricing they have on season passes right now. I love the rides, they have some of the best roller coasters you could hope to ride, but I would suggest pick one ride that you really want to ride and if you get to ride it, consider that a successful Cedar Point trip. Set the bar low and enjoy the coasters.
One of the penultimate Amusement Parks in the whole world. From world class roller coasters to great rides, this place has it all and continues to get better.
Some of their roller coasters are epic top of the line rides and if you are an fan of roller coasters, this place is one of the must visits in the world.
As famous and popular as it is, it lives up to the hype and is a great time. Gotta love The Point.
Best roller coaster park in the world. If you're gonna go you should check out the water park behind cedar point too! Had an awesome trip!
If you love rollercoasters and good time this is the place for you!
Workers are trying their best but so many customers are being so rude. Access Passes run out fast, wait times are horrible, and masks are heavily policed. I m 100% pro mask but warning it gets VERY hot. We ended up leaving 3 hours in after driving 2 hours. They also aren t cleaning between each ride, it s nasty. IT WAS BAD. I would wait till next year!!
Spent $650 to ride two rides. Have always been a platinum pass holder and will not be spending anymore money or time there!
I will not be returning and will be sharing my horrible experience with everyone and on social media!
Great place to have fun when you can.Oh, make sure you got your dine all day and drink arm bands or you will broke.
Husband loves this place. It's huge and be prepared to pay pay pay.
Beware! Cedar point during this pandemic has the most horrible standard operating procedures due to covid-19. Got there at 11am and was only able to ride two roller coasters the way they operate is so slow they leave lots of open seats still within 6 feet, no more fast pass! And half the rides were closed. You do not get your money's worth if you ride the coasters literally a waste. 2 hour wait and it's not even busy.
It's the perfect amusement park for the whole family.
Lock up your items in a locker or leave them at home! Nightmare if keys, phone or wallet are lost! The locker rental fee sounds steap but the process to recover or replace is a vacation nightmare! (Thx for returning car rental keys!) Love this park. Clean. Lots to do!
It was cold when we went and had to wait for them to sanitize things, the only thing I didnt like was the whole only having a certain amount of people on the rides at a time. Other than that though we had fun for the most part.
It was the best experience of my life. It was so much fun and I am truly amazed. Made great memories with my family. The prices are outrageous but the rides made it worth it.
Only passed by while boating but many Lake Erie visitors raved about their experiences. Plan to return to enjoy the park.
Awesome amusement park with some of the best rides in America! There is something for everyone to do here. Even if your not a rollercoaster rider the good is great and reasonable especially for an amusement park. The water park is awesome and a walk on the lake is always a great way to end your trip!
No doubt it's the best place on Earth for roller coasters! Gotta stay onsite, ease, added fun, parking included in hotel price. Best deal ever!
Always a great place to visit! Very clean and plenty of food options. 3 year old granddaughter loved her first visit,.
If you're looking for something fun to do it is a blast and a good family trip.
If the rides break down, I would recommend to check it out a different time and find better rides.. they need signs for food restraunts and rides so you know where the enterances are.. however great thrilling rides
I went with my husband for halloweekends & had a blast. I love riding the rides during the night, it makes it more enjoyable. Definitely coming back.
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience today. Drove 2.5 hours, $200 to enter the park and have NOT ONE single roller coaster working. Been here since 10am ... Not one roller coaster ran more than 3 cars. Disgusted to say the least in our experience this time around. Limited hours, hot mask ... All for ZERO coasters to be working. Here's a tip CP ... Check the roller coasters 2 hours before guests enter to ensure they are working BEFORE you open and take money.
Love this place! Great for riding roller coasters, hanging out at the beach, and having fun with friends.
After several visits over the years, Cedar point sits at 3 stars for me. First of all, and most importantly, the roller coasters are the BEST. Cedar point really has the most intense safe experiences that you can have. The Millennium Force, the Maverick, and the MaXair are my favorites, and the kind of thing that you have to try once in your life!
But... in recent years, it seems harder and harder to have a good time at Cedar Point... Even when the weather isn t causing ride closures, there are just TOO MANY PEOPLE allowed in on general admission. I always thought that Cedar Point was worth visiting once in a while with friends even if lines for major coaster s had wait times of over 2 hours. It was worth it for the experience, and you could still manage to ride most of the major coasters in a day. This last time I went, OCT. 12, 2019, we were in the park from 11:30 AM to 10:30 PM, and we rode ONE major coaster... the Rougarou... not even one of the greats. Even with haunted houses and fright zones open throughout the park, it seemed that there were NO real coasters below 2 hours of wait, and some were above 4 hours of wait. There was just no way for most of the customers to enjoy themselves with the rides... As far as I can tell, this is how Cedar Point intends to work:
- More people means more MONEY$ so there we are never at max capacity no matter how miserable everyone is.
- You can totally ride the coasters IF you pay for the Fast Lane. Everyone else is entitled to 1(one) major coaster ride per visit. (The Fast Lane is secretly not a special treat you pay for, the Fast Lane is the real general admission .)
- Refreshments are mandatory, priced for maximum profit possible per unit, and require standing in long lines.
- We have the biggest coasters for hundreds of miles. Pay $100 per guest or die for all we care.
Cedar Point has SUCH POTENTIAL! It s such a disappointment that it is managed like a scam.
Final note: Everyone in my group thought the act that involved POLE DANCING on the main stage was inappropriate. There were children of all ages present, and while there was no stripping off of clothes that we saw, the performance was deliberately and overtly sexual.
Lines are extremely long and you pretty much should keep the app on hand and that way you can find lower wait time rides. Also I was so disappointed that I could not got in the steel vengeance. I could fit in any other ride but the vengeance. Waited over an hour to get the pre-ticket only to find out from how the harness squesses you that I couldn't fit. It broke my heart and every other ride I made it to broke my heart.
Greatly exceeded my whole family's expectations. Short to no wait times for most rides. Longest wait was for steel vengeance on Friday night and that was only 45 minutes. Absolute best roller coasters hands down. I would recommend the fast lane plus add on if you only have 1 day at the park.
All they care about is your money.. Not the experience in the littlest bit.. Rides are fun after your 3 hour wait per each
Amazing park, with awsome roller coasters. We did have a bad experience with a teenage ride operator, but other than that it was a good day.
Too long of wait for rides. October decorations were nice.
Drove up from Cincinnati where we have kings island passes just for something new highly recommend it
Incredible roller coasters. This is the ultimate roller coaster park with multiple top 20 roller coasters. Try to plan your visit around a slow day. The lines are crazy around holidays, and certain popular times of year. Even on a slow day some of the best roller coasters have waits of more than an hour.
Had a blast here! Great rides, barely any wait time on weekdays. Friendly staff. Whole experience was awesome! Will definitely be going again!
Access passes for the 4 top rides is a joke. People were waiting for 1.5 hrs to get a pass to wait in line again to get on a ride. Then 3 of the 4 were down for mechanical problems. Not worth the money anymore.
Cedar point is always good, but the lines are INSANE year round. Would definitely recommend the fast lane. It's worth the extra money.
Amazing adrenaline park, with lots of great rides for everyone and a lot of good and tasty food everywhere. If you visit the par during the Halloween period, you will be really thrilled with additional amusement in the park and decoration which they offer. Perfect, will return again for sure, since one day is definitely not enough.
This place is always fantastic! The new ride Steel Vengance is scary but so fun.
They need to either further restrict pandemic capacity or find a more efficient way to load or sanitize the rides. No coaster, even on Sunday, had a wait under two hours. We came at 11:30 and didn't get on a single coaster until 4 pm.
Awesome amusement park! Helpful staff, clean, and lots of ride options in a beautiful location.
First 8 hours would have gotten 4 stars due to waiting but we got so much done in the last 2 hours it was worth it. Suggestion: Get the discounted ticket for after 5 p.m. admission
It has a lot of great roller coasters, but many of them are always having mechanical difficulties. Last year we couldn't ride in the wicked twister, and today we had to go back two times to valvarn and once to Maverick because they were having some issues. You definitely need to get the fast pass, if you don't get it you'll probably spend more than one hour only in one ride, difficult to enjoy the park this way, the problem is that is to expensive, a day like today 7/28/16 it was $106, but definitely worth it.
One of my family's favorite amusement parks. Went for Halloweekends and the crowds were UNBELIEVABLE. Six hours for some rides? Half-hour to forty five minute waits for drinks and food? Do yourself a favor an check the in park cameras before coming in. It's not worth going if it's that crowded.
Would've given 5 star but Topthrill Dragster is down again.
Awesome, great for kids, teens and adults alike. Highly recommend not staying at castaway and go for breakers instead. The beach is well worth it.
Where do I start. 45+ min wait times for all rides! Waited 1 hour and 15 min for the iron dragon and it shut down in my face! 150 years and they've gone down hill! I'm disappointed in this place.
I had a Great time with the family. The new rollercoaster was Awesome. The only problem was that "Steel Vengeance" kept having problems and our wait was 3 hours! They have got to do BETTER!!
Hadn't been on a coaster in over 20 years. Loved the new Giga Coasters. Pretty much loved everything about the park except the lines. Good times and good food. Can't wait to go back!
Fun and best amusement park. Food a bit pricey. Go on an overcast day with a chance of rain and there will be very little lines. Nice kids area, but a Snoopy or Woodstock character might help to engage kids. Lots of stuff to do still of not into coasters.
Amazing park that I have been to multiple times if you download the app you can see wait times and find the rides with the least time.
Can never get enough from the live music shows to the newest record breaking coasters year after amazing year. I love this place and being so close to it that I could visit any weekend I am able. While some say Disney Land is the happiest place on Earth, cedar point is where roller coaster enthusiasts dreams come true
Rides aren't as smooth as they used to be. But still a blast. Fast pass is worth the money but buy online before come. 85.00 at park 55 online for fast lane pass
Cedar point is out favorite place to go! Great rides, food and fun! Wil lalways recommend.
The wait times were not bad. The staff was really professional.
Fun! Fun! Fun! Their $99 Season Pass deal for Unlimited use this 2019 Season and Unlimited 2020 is AMAZING! CHECK IT OUT!
Always so much fun. There are long lines and it can get frustrating but you dont have to let it ruin your time. We are platinum pass holders and wouldn't have it any other way!!
Too much fun!!! My Grandson lives in Orlando, FL & likes it better than Disney & Sea World. Can't say Universal though, that place rocks too!!! Cedar Point has grown immensely over the decades. My grandson was just here from Florida and I took him there for 2 days and he walked me to death. It was a lot of fun, though. We liked the waterpark. Just a great experience all the way around. Thank you for the new memories & helping to bring back old ones from decades ago. My sister also worked there the summer of 79' at the Breakers Hotel. Seeing that & the old dorms she lived in that summer was a great trip down memory lane!!!
Minus the fact they are inconsistent with height requirements, fun place. Don't tell me my daughter can ride Maverick, Top Thrill, Power Tower, etc yet she's not tall enough to ride the Guardian. Which has the same height requirements..... Despite the bar touching the top of her head apparently the bar is supposed to smack you in the side fo the face in order for you to ride....
Very good but super crowded and all of the food lines were extra long
This place was amazing. The coasters are worth the hype, and this place operates like a top-tier amusement park. Fast Pass Plus is worth it if you can afford it due to the long lines at the world-class coasters. The ride operators are super professional and seem to stay at the same ride. They made it fun and seem like they really know what's going on and care. I highly recommend this park even if it's really busy.
i try to make it out each summer
i love it, my son loves it
great coasters
and getting better ones all the time
We have made a great tradition of going to Cedar Point every year! This year we bought the fast pass and had the most incredible Cedar Point experience of our life. If you love to ride, this is the best use of $110 at the park. You essentially jump ahead of 75% of each line for all of the huge coasters like Millennium Force, the Dragster, Maverick, and the most amazing roller coaster I've ever ridden, Steel Vengeance!
The rides are very fun, but the wait is ridiculous and the prices are extremely high for both food and fast passes ($99). Even with just the prices of the regular one day tickets, they should have enough money to have more rides because then all the lines would be shorter. Their live entertainment is not the best either. They are pretty boring and you can tell a lot of them are not professionals at what they say they are.
The roller coasters here are unmatched! The day was ridiculously hot and we walked 22,000 steps, and it was all amazing. What a great day out.
Love it!!! It is soooooo beautiful and the rides are also amazing. The show was ok (not the best).
It's the best roller coaster park in the world, I think that explains it without another word!!!
So far one of the best amusment parks I have been to. Tons of roller coasters, great food, lots of accommodation in the area as well as right in the park.
Still the coaster capital of the world I don't know how they are able to continue to have new rides every time I go and I'm glad they got rid of the mean streak replaced it with steel vengeance
Covid really put a damper on cedar point takes forever just to ride a ride and on top of making a reservation just to get in you have to rush to the top rides to get a ticket just to ride those! Don't recommend going during covid that's for sure
Best park ever! Go here if you want to have the time of your life!
Very fun place for the family. A lot of roller coasters and kid rides. Located off the water on it's own island. There are over 20 rides here and if you buy a season pass online you can do monthly payments while being able to still go in the park. There is also first aid places with breastfeeding rooms inside. There are many food stands and shops. There's a water park also and it's called Cedar Shores. They also have shows with singing and dancingfor all ages to enjoy. I would suggest bringing snack and possibly a stroller for kids. The park is quite big and you will be doing a lot of walking. Another thing they have is a petting zoo and horseback riding. This is a place for all ages to come and enjoy. It is very fun and worth the money. Make sure to bring suntan lotion if you go on a hot sunny day due to there not being much shade
Best amusement park ever. Exhilarating rides, and great food.
Great amusement park. They are doing the best they can during the pandemic with cleaning, sanitizing, and social distancing. Love the rides and the fun!
Yes, the rides are all amazing, but come on with these prices. The fast pass system is messed up. Charging $105 for the first tier and $150 for the top tier is crazy! The people who can't afford this get to waste their whole day waiting in line for 4 rides. It's soul crushing.
I really do love my caricature I had done! It was $85 with the frame, but this is something tangible I can appreciate for the time to come. This wall was inside the Melt. The food was alright.
Lots of great roller coasters. Had an awesome time with the family.
Awesome enjoyed a visting during summer at this place for over 30 years.BEST RIDES EVER.
As usual this place is a lot of fun. But I can't give 5 stars, because the prices just keep going up. They want way too much money for a picture at the end of the ride or when you come into the park. $4 for a water many of the rides they tell you you can't even have sunglasses on you, they are making you rent lockers now the greed aspect takes away from the overall enjoyment.
I loved the rides!!!! They were excitingly scary and the rides are high.
Masks, half the rides and attractions open, forcing 2 year olds to wear a mask is ridiculous.
So much fun! Aside from all the rides, we caught a show, which was surprisingly excellent. Visited the sweet shop, which was very clean and the young lady from Ireland was so wonderful and patient with my daughter. All around really fun for our family! The bathrooms were stellar for the amount of people- I was surprised. This is definitely on our return trip list!
The park itself was great. Guest services on the other hand not so great.
