Amazing rides for both the little kids and big kid...
Amazing rides for both the little kids and big kids. Tons of Snoopy characters and shows. Water park was also awesome.
Amazing rides for both the little kids and big kids. Tons of Snoopy characters and shows. Water park was also awesome.
Brought my toddlers for the Fall Fest and they had A LOT of fun rides/games for kids. The tasting card for purchase was great and staff was friendly. We had a great time overall
We were here for 3 days, on one of the days I was pouring rain and all of the rides were closed, even if it wasn't raining. On another day, it was delightful until my younger brother tried to ride rougarou alone. He got all the way up to the top and was about to get on, when they pulled him out of line, and told him, quite forcefully, that he was too short, even though he was CLEARLY 54''.
So these things made it not as fun as I would have expected from the way people talk about it.
Bought all day drink package today. Lady gave us a cup to fill our all day cup with. We understood. We filled up disposable cup with same drink and she had to tell us that we should be charged for filling up disposable cup.
We literally can fill up our big cup every 15 min. She is being angry and not helping our our experience. We will not be back. You would think common sense would prevail, but apparently not.
Won t come back and will def leave a note to management about today.
We paid $25 for our cup and she complains about filling up 8 oz of Powerade
Lame
I had an amazing time at Cedar Point. Our cabin was very nice and well cleaned, the staff for the whole park were very nice and helpful, and had an awesome time riding the roller coasters there. There is so much to do here. I can't wait to return.
Love the roller coasters, nice people here, just some of the main rides have been down, like Steel Vengeance, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick. The only ones that I didn't have to the break downs is Gatekeeper and Millennium Force, and few others, but over all park very good, wish it was a little bit like Kings Island, like extra park hours for only passholders, having every ride open for early entry, those r the main things I would like to see happen, also blacktop doesn't look good, bricks work better near where that is, like Kings Island did around the Eiffel Tower and around the edges
OMG....Awesome place Love everything about it!! If you love Rollercoasters this is the place to go!!
No Millenium Force. No Top-thrill Dragster. We got rained on. 5$ Drying station
It's an awesome experience as far as roller coasters needs more video games but.... Everyone should go at least once in there life
I hadn't been here in over a decade atleast! It was my 7 yo son first time here and we/he had a great time, but hav things changed over time...glad to see some of those great classics around still, like the arcade and the Corkscrew! We will return this time with more money, lol
Loved every minute, one suggestion, when waiting in line the entire maze should be covered too prevent people from passing out from heat exhaustion. While waiting to ride the Raptor five succumb to heat exhaustion.
The best place around the World!! It's a Roller Coaster Park with awesome rides and also another Attractions. The food are very well too.
Cedar point has become very run down. Constant ride closures from maintenance issues. The place looks terrible. Almost nothing is open. Avoid at all costs unless something drastic happens. This is not the place we all loved as kids. Even the kids rides are constantly broken and lines are long regardless of few people being in the park. Employees seem not too happy to be here. Access pass system is terrible and causes even more problems. It doesn't help line times. Very few food options available. It does not feel like an amusement park. It feels like a torture chamber. The ride running fairly smoothly is Steel Vengeance, which is a great ride. Having one great ride running properly doesn't justify having the rest of the park in complete shambles. Even Maverick which is normally reliable was closed today. The staff stated it was closed due to trees needing to be trimmed down.. Why wouldn't that be handled before it opened at the late hour of 11am. It's embarrassing how little Cedar Point cares about bringing actual enjoyment or fun to it's customers that still pay high prices. A couple slices of pizza and a drink was $33, for example.
I would pay for a high quality experience. You can't even buy fast passes this year, yet there are people using those lines. If you read this you will understand that this is not Cedar Point at its best and not the place many have come to know and love. This is a sad attempt to continue to collect money.
Has the best views from the tops of many roller coasters!!
Absolutely a must visit. One of the most exciting amusement parks in the country. Tremendous coasters that thrill to your limits!
Awesome last minute thing to do on a day off. GOLD PASS for for 2020....Done.
Not fun at all!!!! 2an half hours wait times. We got there right at 11am an the passes for certain rides was already gone. So we had to to wait til 3:30 to get them again.. waste of money an time.
So clean and beautifully wonderful people who work there
It's a little easier to eat healthy this year. Coaster's has a decent grilled chicken salad and Johnny Rocket's has an excellent grilled chicken salad. (Watch the dressing choices)There may be others that we have yet to try.
Absolutely amazing! Just wish they had healthier food options
If you are deaf, there are various events like Deaf Awareness Day, they will provide a discount! There are also provide a discount for any reasons. So worth to go there! Even, it s highly recommended if you had tries Steel Vengeance attraction. It s new to me I definitely LOVE it!!!
Best park for coasters in the world, and it keeps getting better with new rides.
The #bestdayever as always at the point. Even with steel vengeance breaking down as we were getting ready to board the ride it was still an awesome day. Weather couldn't have been nicer and spending the day with my sister is always a bonus.
We went last year on during the Halloween event and it was a blast.
Been a great day well worthe the all inclusive for the 5 of us today
Cedar Point is a tie for my absolute favorite amusement park of all time. It's a wonderful place with some of the best rides in the US. Clean, and friendly staff. Steel Vengeance is a new favorite and of course the Magnum will always be the best.
Thank you for years of joy as a child and now to let my children share in your park. Totally worth every penny.
Awesome was really hot out but their was rides for everyone good food and nice staff.
Fun but not for chunky people. My friend couldn't fit on most of the good rides.
Amazing went in the last week of July was extremely hot so wear light clothing, the rides where very fun. There are rides for young children and adults. The lines can be quite long up to two hours, check there website for ETA's of the time. There are beverage stations every few rides so you will always have the opportunity to get a drink.
You Already Know This Is The Ih So Fun Amusement Park Of The Country
Amazing time !!!
I went with a party of four on a special deal for Michigan residents which included unlimited Coke products all day. That included everything from coke to fuse teas, and poweraid. It was an amazing deal. We came late season to avoid the crowds. That is exactly what we were able to do. Everything here was amazing. The only bad experience we had was at a pretzel stand in the back of the park I believe by the Gemeni. There were three black men behind the counter two were doing nothing and the tall skinny one that did reluctantly serve us was rude when we asked questions . People, if you dont like dealing people dont go into customer service! Especially if you are servicing people on their vacations.
Thank you to everyone even the rude guy. I hope you all have an Amazing remainder of your summer!
Spent time with my family I don't see to often. Had a great time
Here s a forewarning for any folks contemplating taking a trip to Cedar Point. Avoid it at all costs on the weekends. From open to close, my wife and I had the opportunity to ride four rides due to intermittent maintenances and outrageous seating arrangements for COVID-19. Save your money as I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Its an amazing place for anyone to come visit! Whether your someone just looking for a thrill or a family looking for some fun, Cedar Point is the best place to go! The rides are fun and very safe! Its a perfect place for a day trip with your family and friends!
I HAD SO MUCH FUN. THE CHILDREN HAD FUN. THE MEAL PASSES AND DRINKS PASSES CAME IN HANDY. GREAT DEAL
A nice variety of rollercoasters. Great experience on a rainy day. It was pretty empty, 15 min wait times. The food was good amusement park food. Water bottles was a little expensive. Overall great trip but would be a lot of line waiting on a normal day.
Miserable experience. Masks required, even on rides. 1 to 3 hour waits for every ride. Running half capacity. Lots of things closed. Shortened hours. Don't waste your money. May be appropriate for Biden supporters, but others beware.
I've gone to the park multiple times, but this time was the worst. It's becoming a rip off to even walk through the gate. This year my son was tall enough to ride all the rides and I could finally ride the dragster, only to find out the 2 days I went, it was closed. I also had a small plastic bag from the $20 picture I purchased from another ride and was told that I had to rent a locker if I wanted to ride the steel vengeance. We stood in line for the maverick while they tested it and they never opened the ride. Finally, on our 2nd day there, we spent most of it at the water park side. We ate at the cafe which was extremely overpriced and the food was disgusting. $20+ for 2 slices of nasty pizza and a cup of mac n cheese. We left the water park side and went back to the main part with rides. When we returned to the water park, we showed them a stamp on our hands, but that was only for the main part, and our tickets were on my phone, in a locker right behind the gate attendant. They gave me a bunch of attitude and made me wait until they looked up my information to confirm that I had tickets. Bottom line, way too expensive for disappointment.
It was really fun I had a good time with my friends and family
The epitome of great roller coaster parks. It matches the hype and expectations. Friendly staff and loads of fun. For the younger kids, the rides are great too. I took a family with ages 16 down to 4 and everyone had a blast.
Cedar Point is so much fun! I come here about 3 times a season with my friends and have a ball. Cedar Point is full of stuff to do, from the arcade (which has classic pinball machines in the way back) to the main attractions such as the coasters. However, Cedar Point does have it's fair share of problems, almost everything is overpriced and I realize that it is to be expected from an amusement park. Another small issue I experience is the lack of English in the employees, when you are getting latched into a rollercoaster harness or any attraction for that matter, your life could depend on proper communication between you and the operators, that said however, they do make sure you are secured and ready to ride, but a little disconnect, such as language I'd enough to make a rider uneasy. All in all Cedar Point is a wonderful place to spend some quality time with friends and family, and heck, even strangers, if you are that social.
The weather is beautiful today and were having a blast! Thank you, Jesus for this day and good friends.
This is a premier amusement partk that is a must go for anyone visiting northern Ohio. It has the best collection rollercoaster's and top thrill rides period. Along with live shows, great food choices a water park and even a beach on the lake, this place offers a full slate of family fun activities. I highly recommend this place.
While this is a great park ... I am finding they have no customer service skills in the business offices. I purchased season passes the end of 2019 for 2020. Due to my situation I am not able to schedule in advance a visit. My husband travels for work and I never know when he will be in town and available to visit. Plus I am not able to even enjoy everyday things with the cumbersome use of a mask to be mandated to wear one the entire time in tje park is not enjoyable. Everyone is making sacrifices and taking losses due to this virus. The lack of understanding and refusual of refunds or transfers of season passes is unacceptable and sends the wrong message of what this company stands for. Very discouraging.
Food prices are way to high and they need to train they're food stand employees how to count 4 different areas never got correct change
I love Cedar Point. I am also happy that they are open during the pandemic with safety measures. Unfortunately some of their rides are often broken. Top Thrill Dragster is more broken then operational based on my experience during my visits. Still, if you love rollercoasters there is no place like cedar point.
Great experience, can be really crowded on weekends but i loved it there
Best roller coast experience I have ever had. I have never rode some many coasters in one day. The wait in line for most coasters on a Sunday during the summer was 15 minutes. Newest coaster was 1.5 hours. Dragster was 45 minutes.
The roller coasters here are phenomenal, very thrilling, and they all have cool themes. Its expensive and there's always a long wait no matter when you go, so fast passes are well worth the extra money. I've gone twice and got the fast pass both times and it saves a ton of time.
We had a great time they have done a great job over the years keeping this place modern. We took the fast pass route which was expensive but worth it for us since we only get down here once every few years.
The attractions themselves were thrilling and enjoyable, though I disagree with how the fast lane passes are distributed. It is in my opinion that visitors who have disabilities or health concerns should be able to get fast lane passes, not just anybody who happens to come upon them. The majority of the fast lane users that I noticed while waiting for rides were somewhat impatient and pushy, and it becomes irritating to wait in line for beyond an hour while others are allowed to go almost entirely up to the platform. I understand the concept and why it would make a good profit, but it can be a major inconvenience to the rest of us. Between technical difficulties and the fast lanes, wait times seem to last an eternity. My recommendation is to sell the fast lane passes to people who need them, such as those who are handicapped or at a higher risk of heat-related injury. Aside from that, the plentiful options for dining, hydration, shopping, and relaxation were pleasant. The live entertainment that I observed was well-coordinated and lively. I appreciate the mixed cultures that you can explore throughout the amusement park. Overall, the experience was pretty good. Thank you for reading my review.
Great roller coasters. They need a single rider line. I saw many empty seats on a busy Saturday. Wait times were upwards of 1.5 hours for some rides. All the waiting makes for only an average day.
A bit busy with the new gold passes but still a great time with the family and friends!
This place place is so much fun, with some of the greatest coasters in the world. The lines can be super long, even on a weekday, so if you can afford it, do the Fast Pass. If you don't have a Fast Pass, there's no way you can ride all the good stuff in one day. You won't have enough time. Also, after the sun goes down, the bug situation gets INSANE!!
We took our church kids from Vacation Bible school...they really enjoyed themselves on the rides, and the food... and did not want to go home!
My family and I visit quite often and it's always so much fun!! More air conditioning could be put into place hehe but no matter, I can see how it is "the rollercoaster capital of the world".
Fun and exciting. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that Cedar Point doesn't like bigger people, tall people, or handicapped people to be able to ride very many rides. I am a little larger, worked hard to lose weight to ride rides (I dropped 30 pounds!) and I still hardly fit on anything. I didn't even fit on things that I fit on last year when I was fatter! Cedar Point needs to stop shortening those seatbelts. Also if you have a wide pelvis, good luck fitting in half of those seats. Also very pricy with everything and some rude staff but over all it's a good experience.
Thank you Cedar Point I now have a new record for the longest I've ever waited in line for a single ride: 3+ hours. The second ride was roughly a 3 hour wait too and the day was over afterwards.
Also, please improve your parking logistics. It took us 1h30mins to drive into the parking lot from the nearby neighborhood.
Halloween props were cool. Still, experience overall did not feel worth it.
Aside from the world class roller coasters, this park has excellent food and goes all out decorating for Halloween! I had a wonderful day here!
Enjoyed the boardwalk, beach, bands, and rides.... weather was perfect .... we had a great time!
Great roller coasters and very clean for an amusement park. Purchased a fast lane pass for an extra $110.00. I was a little worried about the number of these passes they sell on a daily basis and my fears were confirmed as the day went on and the park got busier. I don't know if they limit the number they sell but it certainly didn't look like they do. We went on a Friday in late August thinking kids would be in school and the park might not be so busy. Wrong. It was as bad as a weekend day in mid summer. We rode a total of 10 rides. Divide that buy how much we paid for the fast pass and admission and it was roughly $15.00 per ride. Not good Cedar point.
Super fun amusement park with top notch attractions and roller coasters. Within the park things are priced on par with amusement parks. They have a variety of dining options within the park which even include vegan options. Roller coasters can have up to a 2 hour wait, which kind of sucks, but they have a bunch of smaller attractions near with smaller lines. I was there towards the end of June and I heard that many more people go during July and August. I went for 2 days in June and found that buying the Wild Card unlimited pass for $69.99 was the cheapest option for the 2 days.
Park is very clean Lots of varieties of activities to do in park beside amusement rides. Park activities cover ALL ages. Take time to notice all the details in the decor of the park it's awesome!!! Good job Cedar Point.
So fun and enjoyable. The rollercoaster rides are second to none!
I absolutely LOVE Cedar Point. The long lines suck but it s best to not go during the weekend. Food is good but pricey. Helloweek was amazing and it s totally worth having a membership since we were in the Toledo area and we literally went a couple of times monthly and even more during nice weather days. We even stayed there when it rained. The water park is nice too! But not as good as Cedar Point park
Steel vengeance was definitely worth the drive from butler, pa. And the 3hr wait in line! I recommend cedar point to anyone.
Horrible. Worst service ever. Food terrible and overpriced. Main attractions not working. Staff inept at best apathetic at worst. No place to leave a backpack. Turned people away with sunglasses with no straps. Would not allow us to leave park and return. Save your money go anywhere but here. I feel cheated. Spent enough to have a great time but the park fights back. Beware.
A lot of fun. Much cleaner and nice than just a few years ago. The campground is very nice
Place was clean but every other ride was down. I guess that's why they're selling tickets so cheap right now. That's ridiculous that the most popular ride was down the entire day.
First time Getting the fast pass pluses on the Fourth of July and they were totally worth it. Longest wait was just over 20 min for the wicked twister. Got there about 1030am and was able to ride all the big coasters twice and still had time to spare! Stayed at the hotel a mile away. Great experience, love coming here every year!
Cedar Point is a rollercoaster park like none other. There is plenty of tame rides for the timid rider. The trill ride are her the park is known for. The pioneers in rollercoaster design and construction. Always pushing forward to the next big thing. Everyone should experience it at least once I their lives.
I like the new deal discount tickets and get unlimited pop or bottled water all day. What I didn't like is preference rides when we are stating in like while others pay more to get on rides first. Plus the places needs a power wash with all the dong left by a summer of sea gulls
I would caution that those with disabilities know their options and rights. Stop at guest services to register for free accommodations. You get an access form that allows you and your party access. You may have a small wait but nothing like hours in line.
Some young staff can be snotty regarding disabilities but supervisors are more than happy to set them straight and make things right.
World class roller costers. Worth the money but the wait is 30mins-1hr per ride!
I love Cedar Point and would love to go more but where I m located and with how much I work it s nearly impossible for me to go. We re currently trying to save our own money as well and don t really have an extra $200.00 to get fast passes. My boyfriend and I managed to make a trip out of it but lemme tell you the whole park has changed.
Initially when trying to get to the park, we ended up narrowly missing a car accident on the back entrance. This accident stopped ALL traffic from coming and going which caused us to have to go through the front entrance. Which no big deal and they can t necessarily help that issue.
However once we got in the park the sheer number of people made most rides 2 hours plus on wait times. Not to mention the fast pat holders who are constantly backing the lines up. Don t get me wrong , if you have the extra money and pay it , I totally get you earned the right . But Cedar Point has yet to find a way to balance this out especially for rides like maverick and valraven. I won t be going this year , and possibly next after seeing the amount of people who got there hands on a pass.
There are a lot of roller coasters...we like roller coasters, so this place is good
Very fun! I went for Halloweekend or whatever it's called and it was hella fun! But I couldn't record in the haunted houses.
Have been visiting CP since I was a kid, I ve always had an awesome time! Suggest going during a weekday as the lines are much shorter.
Amazing Park if you love rides. It's a massive Park and takes a long time to walk around. But overall it's really great and the lazy river is pretty incredible in the water park.
They did the best they could with the COVID situation, keeping things clean and running. Wait times were 2+ hours because of it, though, so if you're going be aware of that and consider doing two days. We were there open to close and only managed to ride 4 coasters due to the wait times. Still had a great day though!
As Always Awesome Great Time With My Girl Christina...
I made the mistake of buying season passes before visiting!!
Today was the first day I ve ever been to Cedar Point and I m in absolutely NO rush to return. I m newish to Ohio and haven t had the chance to go before. I was beyond excited and was met with rude staff, Multiple out of order rides, and as a smoker I had to extremely far out of my way! I had zero problems wearing a mask and following the guidelines to visit the park in the current state of things with the COVID-19 outbreak! But the rudeness, multiple maintenance issues, and ride closures had me wanting to go home almost as soon as we arrived! Cedar point was horrible today my only hope is that the next we visit it won t be as horrible as today.
Run by theives who overcharge you and then underrefund you. After my cancelled reservation I should have only been left with a $50 charge and instead have a $131 charge on my card. $81 brazenly stolen by these people. After being strung along for weeks and providing them with more than enough proof I have been informed there will be nothing done to resolve the issue. Will not be visiting at a later date as originally planned and would warn off everyone else from visiting as well.
This park is right on the lake. On a sunny day you can see miles of lake front from the tops of the roller coasters and Ferris wheel. I highly suggest attending this amuzement park. It's incredibly clean and the staff is wonderful.
It's a lot of fun, but ride times are always a problem. Also had a meal voucher that we thought was good for anything, but turns out only works for certain food items. Other than that we had a great time.
Great experience! The best ride options for all different people and thrill levels. Food & games are pricey if course so plan accordingly.
Nice amusement park, lots of food choices, very clean
One of the best amusement parks in the world.. it's my home Park.. I've been going there since the 60s
Fun, many things to do. Variety of rides. Limited live performances.
6 rides in 11 hours. This is what you can expect now on an average attendance weekday. Cedar point does not regulate their Fast Lane sales because obviously it's 1000's of dollars more daily for them for nothing. Other parks will essentially limit how many fast passes will be sold in a day to make each ride a walk on while not affecting the wait times for people without the pass. Cedar point keeps selling them because they know people will get aggravated waiting in lines they have artificially inflated. My last visit, and it will be my last visit until this gets fixed, had me enter what would normally be 45 minute lines. With the fast lane guests continuing to pour in though, each wait became 1.5-2 hours long. The fast lane people were instead getting the 30-45 minute wait time. Cedar Point should be ashamed. Every time I've gone I've been able to ride most major rides in a single day. Now a 3 day trip minimum is required to do the same thing because I refuse to pay an extra $85 per person for the ability to wait in a normal sized line.
