Weather was perfect. Lots of rides and excitement....
Weather was perfect. Lots of rides and excitement. Not many zombies or ghouls for a Halloween theme but park was good :)

I loved the roller coasters! Went for a weekend and was able to ride what I wanted to but the weather was not cooperating. This was my first time in 20 years and I will definitely go back again. The staff was helpful and friendly and was even remembered by one of them because I made him laugh the day before. You have to leave an impression on someone that sees thousands of people every day to get them to remember you.
This was a birthday gift! I loved it there we had a blast going on rides and into haunted houses. The beach was beautiful. I can't wait to come back.
The greatest amusement park in the world! Something here for everyone regardless of age or thrill seeking level. Some of the biggest, fastest, tallest rollercoasters in the world all in one location. Highly recommend purchasing the fast pass that is offered to truly enjoy your experience here. No doubt expensive, but worth every dollar!
It was an amazing experience and I would definitely go back if I had the chance. The staff were really friendly and they're many options for food.
Good collection of rollercoasters, but many were closed. It would be wonderful if they could notify you with an alert that a ride is shutting down. Lost over an hour waiting on two different rides, only to learn they had shut it down. So pay attention to the app, if you notice things not moving. I guess it all is better than dying.
Exciting rides and lots of fun. Great for families that love to have a good time
5/5 amazing rollercoaster park - best I've ever been to!
The fast pass is so pointless. You have to spend $150 to even have a fun day there
Great place but be prepared for long lines unless you get lucky.
This place is great when the rides are actually open. Hollow weekends are awesome.
Went on a drizzly day and there were no lines whatsoever! Unfortunately not make shops were open.
Fun place if you live roller coasters. Great park assistance also.. excellent customer service.
What an awesome place! The rollercoasters are awesome!
Save your money! Can't even get on the smallest rides in less than an hour ! My wife called and they said they have never reached there limit of 1/3 capacity but what they dont tell you is the rides only seat 1/3 and they clean each one and send on a dry run before they seat anyone ! Big waste of money !
I have been here multiple times. Trying to give it a chance to do a better job. My issues with this park are first rides have been closed due to wind (when they built a park right on the edge of a lake) and second when all the rides are open you will only have enough time to ride 2-3 rides due to the amount of people.
Went for my 45th birthday, I'm going ever year. The best ever!!!
We love the rides!! And the water park too. This park has it all. If rides aren't your thing, enjoy the food!! From cheese on a stick to sweet water taffy! And of course you can meet people from all over the world working here. Always an awesome time with great people.
Spent a lot of money to sit in a 3 hr long line and only ride 1 ride. Very disappointed and will probably not be going back.
Both Top Speed Dragster and Maverick were not running... massive disappointment to have 2 of their best coasters down!!
I was driving a U-Haul across the northern USA and found myself in Sandusky at 4AM. I had planned on driving all night to make up for a longer than expected stop in Chicago a few hours earlier. Being an amusement park junkie, when I saw the Cedar Point sign on the interstate I immediately turned off and made my way to the park. I felt like Clark Griswold pulling up to the gate at 6am as the security guard told me the park wasn t going to open until 10am (quiet time if the season). I told him my story which seemed to win him over and he directed me on where to park.
I took a brief nap before entering the park the moment it opened. It was quiet so I was able to hit up all the big rides with zero lines. At 1:30pm I hit the road and was on my way. Sandusky is an awkward place for me to get to, but I m happy I was able to experience Cedar Point. It s been a lifelong dream to go there (I have strange life goals).
Cedar point, is nostalgic, yet still just a giant novelty. However, wait times seem to be extremely low less that 15 minutes for the millennium, and almost walk right on every other ride. The rides are fun, their gimmicks are cute, their prices are ridiculous for food and drinks. $50 for 2 burgers, 3 fries, side salad, and cup of fruit, with NO beverages. Take your own water bottle, pack your own lunch, and have a blast with the experience, but dont get sucked into the sub par food!
Long time cedar fairs customer. Never had complaints until now. I made it all the way through their COVID system (which by the way my temperature was never taken so hats off for the diligence of keeping people safe). Was even able to park with no issues. I get to the front and get told my pass is invalid. The lady at the gate wasn t sure why as neither was I considering I just got an email on the 19th of July saying my payment had went through. My advice to any out of state customers would be check to see what is your situation because clearly they don t know and do not waste your gas driving there. I just took it as a sign that I shouldn t be there and left.
If you love waiting in lines, this place is for you! Went for two days. Planned to arrive late to avoid the wait to get in through the bottleneck bridge. Took 3 hours at 2pm to get through. 3.5 hours in the car turned to 6.5. Awful. Waited 2 hours for Milennium force. Finally got there, then it shut down on us. Same for the Vengeance coaster the next day. Lines were insane, and coasters would shut down randomly often. Also had to dodge a Gatorade bottle on the first hill of milennium force. Scarier than the ride is the management of the other park goers. Shame the wife and I were here for our anniversary and had an expensive and not so great experience. Nothing like it used to be.
I love this place. Except it makes you feel like they favor the rich. Just because you have money should not privilege you to not have to wait.
We visited Cedar Point on July 11th. Upon entering the park to find out the majority of the restaurants /small food vendors were closed.
Also there were several big coasters down for mechanical issues that never got resolved throughout the day a big one was top thrill dragster.
We couldn't ride a lot of the big rides due to not able to get access passes.
Cedar fairs was not transparent on their app / website didn't say anything to their customers about access passes didn't find out about them until arriving at the park which was too late all sold out.
We paid full price tickets for about 40% of the park entertainment.
All boils down to CORPORATE GREED.
On July 11th cedar fairs has a lot on their plate to work out this park should not have been open at this time they were not ready for reopening.
We won't be back anytime soon to cedar point.
Pretty much what you expect from a top quality amusement park. Great coasters, great atmosphere and overpriced food.
Awesome amusement park with endless rides and entertainment for us parents and the kids. Halloween fun was abounding in the Snoopy areas for the kids, including trick or treat and dance parties/costume parties. Every ride is better than the last and there's hardly enough time in the day to take it all in! Food trucks were a nice addition and the parade was fun as well
Best amusement park I've ever been to and the park I don't hesitate to get a Fast Lane pass
Good roller coasters for the older kids Snoopyland for younger kids
This place easily outdoes Six Flags and other amusement parks. Very well worth the money for you and your kids to have a great time.
It's got great rides and if you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday it's pretty slow.
I visited this theme park a long time ago, and I didn't remember my trip that well. The hotel was great. Its a great park from the looks (again, I don't remember my trip) and since I live 7 hours away from it, I would LOVE to go back again.
They did a great job of making the best of the situation. Very clean! Hand sanitizer at all ride exits They definitely enforced mask wearing. Not all rides open though and only about half capacity allowed on ride. However we didn't wait more than an hour for any ride
Loved the Halloween theme great place to have fun! Awesome rides if thats what your into and souvenirs to take back home and you gotta love snoopy!!
If you not local, don t bother making the trip. King Island in Mason, OH (Cincinnati) is a thousand times better and it s owned by the same company. Not sure why there s such a difference in parks. It s dirty. The wait times are ridiculous even with a fast pass. The rides are great when their running. But their always down or moving cars on and off the tracks for no reason. Spent 2 days here and waited in line basically for a day.
Rides constantly broke down. Won't let families sit together. Had to stand in line to get tickets for the 4 big rides, then stand in those lines. It was all ridiculous. $470 for 5 people for 2 days. Ride 7 rides in 2 days. None of the big 4 rides
I used to go here yearly when I was younger. After almost 10 years away from Ohio, I came back and I have to say, this place has seriously declined in quality over the years. Way more people in the park than there should be, absurd wait times for everything including food and bathrooms, rides break down frequently. It's just nowhere near worth the prices they charge for admission, food, parking, etc.
Awesome as always love the rides an the time here everytime
This amusement park is full of thrill rides. If is located right by the water so there are plenty of activities to do. Local hotels often charge less for tickets if you get a bundle pack. You have to pay for locker use so bring some spare cash as more times than not, belongings are not allowed with you on rides. Top Thrill Dragster breaks down frequently and the lines are ridiculously long. Plan to arrive early or spend more than one day here to experience all this park has to offer. Overpriced food, but it s worth it.
nice to walk around but the rides are too long of a wait. disapointing
We bought season tickets best money I've ever spent. Love Cedar Point best place to take your family in Ohio
Left Houston the day before. 103 degrees with about as much humidity. The high at Cedar Point was 81! It wasn't too busy being a Wednesday. Fully enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely incredible park. I go every year and it just gets better every year! They also have fantastic roller coasters and amazing rides for anybody that goes. I would highly suggest going.
Employees are rude and all hate there job. The usual.
Love love love love love. This place is nothing but enjoyment. GO, JUST GO!!! Treat yourself for a blast.
Rides are top tier, but the lines are even more extreme... Pretty much a requirement to get a fast lane if you're going on the weekend. Many ride stations are operated inefficiently, making the wait longer than it should be. Perhaps as part of a gambit to encourage fast lane purchasing...
Always a great place to go. We go as a family of 8 an every year have fun. Line for rides move at a good pace an never wait over an hour for a ride.
I loved our day at cedar point. Steel vengeance is an amazing ride. We rode it twice back to back. It's part of the mean streak. They recycled a lot of the wood from the mean streak but the tracks are all new and steel. So...it's a smooth ride. And they added some twisty upside down moves.
Spent 600 dollars to stay got to ride 3 rides this place is a scam came all the way from Maryland to wait in lines for another pass to wait in line again
. Cedar Point , the swanky big sister of Kings Island , although bears unmistakable resemblance encompassing the past and present , is the heir truly in rein of the roller coaster kingdom . Well worth a visit for Cincinnatians ! To put it mathematically, Cedar Point : Kings Island = Disney World (Orlando): Disneyland( L.A.)
Lots of ride were down to a little breeze and maverick has not even opened and the operation ok n were really slow and the employee looked like they would rather be somewhere else
The last time I visited this place was back in the '90s. We finally made it back around, May 2018. While I love the place, it has become a place that "nickels and dimes" you to death. What happened? We only wanted to ride the big roller coasters but several were not running.
My wife brought a bag, which in any other park hasn't been an issue, now at Cedar Point, they charge $10 to rent a locker every 3 hours. The account does move with you to different rides, but any other park we have visited charges about that or less for your whole stay.
Not a good experience.
After a few hours of riding steel vengeance, Maverick, and a few other coasters we ate lunch. Then we got in line and buckled in for valravn. They came over the speaker and said we could not ride to due weather. We were pulled off the ride and sat for about 45 minutes. Meanwhile other rides are still running. We ended up leaving the park, as we were walking out the other rides finally began to close.
Now we have been in the parking lot for an hour trying to get home.
We would have liked to have been given an exit pass for a ride due to the fact that we were bucked in the seats. We would also appreciate some staff directing traffic to exit the parking lot safely.
I have had platinum passes in the past because we love this park, however this day was absolutely disappointing and I will not be back for a while.
All of the roller coasters are beyond great, but they love to exploit customers pockets.
I love this place! The rides are amazing and fun! I definitely recommend Gate keeper. I was afraid of it but it's actually really fun. First time riders here is a tip. Keep your eyes closed and hold on tight. It's more fun like that.
Get to know the park. Lunch time is crunch time. The front half of the park fills to the brim and the back thins. Also, don't even think about it without fast pass plus. 20 coasters in one day without lines is still a challenge, with just regular admission you might ride 5 or 6 of the top coasters but standing next to other sweaty people most of the day. Stick around at night and get the app to keep track of what's closing, wait times and navigation within the park.
Hmm. By far my favorite amusement park but noticeable difference since the last time I was here 2 years ago. My favorite things were the cleanliness, super friendly staff and not overcrowded.Wait times for food and drinks is horrible now, super slow service. Did something change with seasonal staff training? Can we make frendliness a priority again? Lots a bad attitudes especially with food service staff. Please work on this Cedar Point would love to keep coming back!
I used to love this park. I am super disappointed in my most recent visit. The rides are great, don t get me wrong. But it would be great if the good rides would stay open. There were consistently multiple roller coasters broken down all at the same time. How can cedar point, in good conscious, charge $70 per ticket + $80 for a fast pass and still consistently have all the good thrilling rides broken down. I waited in line 3 separate times for 1 hr or more time only to be told the coasters are broken down. What a waste of a day and a couple hundred dollars.
Seems to me they make plenty of money on tickets, fast passes, and wayyyyy overpriced food/drink to fix the rides properly and not have them broken down all day, everyday. Here is a suggestion, STOP MAKING RIDES YOU CAN T UPKEEP. Fix the rides you currently have.
Also, there is no enforcement on people cutting lines. When I mentioned to an employee that a group of 7 cut in front of everyone to meet the other 3 of there group the employee said oh well, it happens .
Lastly, they oversell fast passes so there is generally still a wait for the fast pass line. If I spend an additional $80 on a fast pass i expect it to be FAST! I do not expect to still wait an hour in line with a fast pass.
The quality of cedar point has declined immensely while the prices keep increasing. You re better off going to Six Flags instead.
Best amusement park for roller coaster enthusiasts without question.
Great park, tons of huge and fun coasters with level difficulties for everyone. Obviously the food is overpriced, but that's all parks. Still an awesome place.
I haven't been to Cedar Point in 20 years, a lot has changed. I like all the new additions and the new rides are extremely fun. Wait time estimates vs reality are way off. But I'll definitely return.
Too many rides down. Longer lines for rides that were open. Seemed way understaffed and not enough maintenance people or just poorly managed from the top. When you add parking, ticket, and beverage prices, it doesn't seem worth the money. Been going since 1993. Sad that it has gotten that way. All the rides were running then. When we came, Valravyn, Dragster, Maverick, Millennium Force, half the Gemini, one of the Power Towers, half the Skyhawk we're all down. We were not happy.
The place was great but honestly if you are a larger person, dont go here, the entire time I was here I felt fat shamed because I couldn't ride half of the rides because of seat size, which is odd because I can ride every ride at valley fair, but unfortunately if you go to ceder point to ride dragster, steel vengeance, gatekeeper or power tower and your larger, you might as well watch the video and stay home
No, I visited on Friday the 10th of July which was the 2nd day of your so called Season ticket holder preview. You didn't tell anyone that we needed to run to get come back passes for the Millennium, Steel Vengeance and the Maverick which you so casually released on the following Monday. I was there with my family of 4 - Platinum pass holders for 9 hours and only got on 1 roller coaster because of a good Samaritan who gave me here 1 to 2pm pass. Not to mention that unlike Kings Island you decided to close 5 or more Roller coasters which inflated the wait times on the Raptor and the on next to it. Even further your cleaning the entire ride and only seating 2 to 3 ppl per row is ridicules. if people are wearing masks like they should they should be no reason to only put 20% of passengers. Also, I paid $100 extra for a platinum pass before you screwed everyone with a Platinum pass over by changing your policy for fast-passes. Not only that I wait over an hour for the Maverick and a girl with a blue daily fast-pass band got to take the front row because the inexperienced worker gave them priority. she waited like 5 mins to get on and told me she was able to use it because she bought it on GROUP-ON of all places. WOW, so even though the last time I came I paid over $400 for fast-passes making me a previous customer is not allowed to buy them again but the Group-on lady could and every rich person who forked over $849 for the season pass. Yeah way to make me never want to come back. Is that the plan? To piss everyone off and do nothing about it so they dont come back but leave you holding their admission fees? I want a full refund for my season passes or the ability to purchase fast-lane bands. Lastly, you totally screwed me on the PRE-K club plan too. Since you didn't allow us to pre-register my 4yr old to come last Friday I was forced to buy her a pass as well. Real cool Cedar point! I
Best amusement park in the world!!! Tall long amazing coasters and the kids area is always awesome. Has a kiddie coaster. I used to love hanna barbara land. They have the best safety record of all parks and take great care maintenance wise of all rides and coasters. Will not be bored. Need 2 to 3 days to get the full experience of the park. Big long tall coasters. Great scenery. Hotel Breakers is gorgeous...Been going there since i was little. My grandfather used to work at the Breakers in college. Keep up the great work Cedar Point!!!! Thank you for a great continued generations of fun and high class park at middle class prices.
Best amusment park in the USA. All roller coasters are good. Steel Vengeance is the best thing ever.
DO NOT GO! Had tickets for two days hoping to be able to ride the majority of the rides and only able to ride 2 of the 4 requiring access passes. WewWe required to make reservations and they seemingly removed the need for reservations as well as over-selling tickets. Waited for hours only to be told the access passes to the main attractions were gone after struggling to determine which line was for the ride and which for tickets due to no signage. The icing on the cake was being told incorrectly if we arrived late to our window they would still accept the ride pass despite that not being the case. Go to 6 Flags Magic Mountain for a real amusement park experience.
I loved going here with my family when I was a kid. Gr8 fun all day
Best amusement park in the United States! Probably the world! Glad I live in Ohio!
I hated all the walking and waiting in line for rides. Also hated watching people get on rides with fast pass while I roast in the sun for hours because I can't afford to pay for fast pass tickets for a family of 5
Plenty of rides but with the access pass it killed the experience if fast lane passes were in place like kings island which worked out amazing i would the this park a better review
Cedar Point is the place for coasters! Everything about it was amazing! The rides, the location, the temperature. Lines can get bad but you can buy a fast pass for the day or if you plan things out well you can still get a lot done.
I absolutely had a blast. Can't wait until the 30th two days for my birthday. Valkrn was awesome and gatekeeper rocked. All around great day.
Cedar Point is a fantastic place no doubt....except when you consistently have 4, 6, or more coasters down due to maintenance issues. Steel Vengeance constantly broke down during the day, Maverick broke down numerous times and finally shut down for the day, Valravn wasn't open all day. How does a park this popular with the huge crowds expecting to hit the big rides costantly break down all day?
Cedar point would been great if they kept they reserve passes , cause of the corona most of the good rides are limited , access passes are a joke, food and drinks are expensive, and the whole 6 feet apart is a waste of time , won t be coming back here
Cedar Point is one of my most favorite places on earth! The rides, the shows, the music + entertainment - literally second to none. You will find some of the fastest, tallest, and longest coasters in the world right here in Sandusky OH.
The park has several wonderful lodging places - cabins, hotels + water parks. They have a prisitine beach with plenty of activities for the whole family.
Plenty of food and local area atteactions as well. Did I mention that the park is very clean, landscaped beautifully and the staff is friendly, helpful + kind.
Best. Day. Ever!!
Always a great time when coming to the pary unless it's windy or raining like crazy...
Very fun! The only issue is that on the website it doesn't disclose that you have to purchase the tickets separately if you buy the fast pass, so when we got there we found out we only had the fast pass and had to buy the tickets and wait in line again.
me and my family went to cedar point today as our usual trip of the year, today was not a good day there half of all the rides were down, we went on the maverick and my family wanted to ride front row and the lady there yelled at us to get into a different lines when we pay all this money to enjoy ourselves and should be able to pick what seat we want if it s available!!!! Maybe some of the workers need to be trained on customer service because coming from people who drive 2-3 hours to cedar point should get respect from the workers just saying, other than that I m very disappointed in how things turned out today and won t be back to cedar point for a while !
Park closed 2hrs early on us at 8 instead of 10 and didn't know. Cut short our planning. Also some of the stores closed as well wiping out our back up plans. But the kids still had fun earlier in the day.
