It has rides for all ages and thrill levels. The park is decently sized so wear comfortable shoes. Flip-flip/thong sandles will leave you crying and you may lose one or both on some of the hanging coasters. The two sit-down restaurants we visited were delicious, if a little pricy, but totally worth it. The portions were hefty and filling and they offered food for even the pickiest of eaters. I'd highly recommended Melt, but plan on sharing as their sandwiches are as big as your head. You can cover the whole park in a day, but we came for 3. It makes for a more leisurely and enjoyable trip. Plan on bringing a swim suit as there are a few water rides in the amusement park side and you will get wet.

Cedar point is great, expensive but also an amusement park so to be expected. The bar staff at the adult pool desperately needs help. A lack of bar back was apparent and clearly frustrating to the tenders who were doing the best they could to keep up with demand.

The rides are always fun and I have fine tuned my favorites. More cooling spots in the park for the brunt of summer would be great!

Overall highly recommend.

I have been going to this place since I was not tall enough to get on the rides now at fifty two and 6'6" the only problem is I can not fit on some of the rides. I am not over weight just to tall. But cedar point dose a great job with everything in the park it is always clean, staff is overly helpful, and if you want to ride thrill rides this place is second to none.......

The park is so amazing that there are a lot of people here. Not good if you don't get a fast pass. It's best to be able to spend at least 2 days here. today's trip was delayed with a bit of rain. I waited on the Maverick for two and a half hours because of the rain I've only been on three rides and I've been here since 10:00 a.m. it's now almost 3:00. My best advice is if you're not from here and you're coming get the fast lane plus ordered online because it's $110 in the park and 85 online and try to get yourself a cheap ticket into the park. Other than that, the big coasters are excellent!

Cedar Point is awesome but they saw too many gold passes and they had to close due to maximum capacity... The park looked so cool for Halloween... But their petting zoo is deplorable... Poor animals look like they've never been bathed and the yak was covered in mud and matted terribly inside a tiny pen.

Truly is 'America's Rollercoast'! A Splendid Amusement Park. Highly recommend Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, Magnum XL-200, Raptor, Iron Dragon, Gatekeeper, and more!

Went for the holloweekends. Very impressed with how the actors conducted themselves. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Lines for rides were very long and some didnt open up till way later in the night. But still had a wonderful time

On)y reason I'm giving 2 stars: Corrected mistakes. Steel vengeance had dysfunction fans and no water. Even though children we're passing out. Fast lane + was not available for steel vengeance. Although we were buying a 124$ item for that usage. I disliked it a lot. Fun roller coasters.

After 8 hours of driving, going to hotels, and watching suicide squad I had finally gotten to the promised land of American Amusement parks. I ran to Steel Vengeance and had one of the greatest experiences on a ride ever. I started getting into the park lore and then learned that the lore did not matter which was sad. All the rides after SV were not as good. Maverick had a short wait time but the ride left me wanting more. Millenium force took 2 hours to get on and I witnessed many people probably get heat stroke, I then rode the cable cars back to the car and chugged a gatorade in order to prepare myself for the rest of the day. Corkscrew hurt my back and caused me to audibly groan. We ended the day at Gatekeeper which was like X-flight but better so not the worst ride to end the day on.

I've always loved Cedar Point, but this was our first visit in a long time. The staff was wonderful and they handled the safety and social distancing measures well. We will definitely be going again.

I haven't been to Cedar Point in almost 20 years prior to last Thursday, it's still just as fun now as I remembered it as a child. This time my kids had an amazing time and it didn't break the bank.

Unfortunately my experience was not that great. While I understand that they cannot control the bad weather (all weather apps said no rain but hey it rained) I don't understand the shutdown of various rides for mild rain. I have gone to numerous parks that keep it going in mild rain and shutdown when lightning makes an appearance which is understandable. However the constant start and stop of rides ballooned the times and threw off any logistical plan at the park. We literally got on two rides and left by six frustrated. Drove five hours for this. Lesson learned.

It was our twin's 8th birthday and my finance's birthday, so we did a family vacation. He had fun taking one of the kids on the rollercoasters while the others and I went swimming in the indoor pool. Other than food being super expensive it was fun. Thinking about making it a yearly thing.

I love cedar point. The rides are fun, but waiting in line for a ride for 2 hours is not. I do wish they had seatbelts extenders for the plus size people, I saw many sitting on the sides of rides. Or make the rides more accommodating for anyone a little thicker in the thighs. Fast passes are extremely priced, because you do still have to wait a decent time for some of the rides. The rides are very thrilling, just make sure you hold your head straight so you dont wack it around on the rides.

About half the major rides were down for the day. The rides that were running went down for maintenance issues at some point though out the day. Not all rides have a test seat if you are a large person. Waiting in line for 90 min only to be told you can't not fit in the seat is quite humiliating and sad. Alot of the ice machines were down. Overall, very dissatisfied and disappointed with Cedar point.

I had a mixed experience.

I had a mixed experience.

1. We stayed at the resort hotel, and it was pretty worn down in the room (quarter-sized chips in the bathtub, piles of dust in the corners, balcony screen was *covered* in dead bugs and spiderwebs, full-size beds passed off as queen-size.)
2. They actually require you use their mobile app. You actually have to have a mobile phone that supports their invasive app to use the park you pay a lot to enter. I was blown away by this.
3. The wait times for lines after 3pm are staggeringly long. There was a minimum 80 minute wait for the grown-up rides. The lowest wait time for such rides that I saw was 60 minutes. The maximum was a whopping 2.5 hours. This is with reservations being required to get into the park. They knew how many people they were letting in.
4. The staff was trying their best to deal with Covid, but there just weren't enough of them.. What I saw was people flouting it. The spaces between people in line were a thoroughfare for passersby. Large groups would take up the whole 6 feet between marks, and no one would give them space. One woman literally put her arm over my shoulder to hold open a door I was stepping through.
5. The All-Day dining plan was a complete waste of money. Almost no restaurants there accepted it, and the ones that did gave one or two options only. One place said the only side I could have was a fruit cup.
6. I got in early for staying at the resort, and got in line immediately to ride the Maverick. It was an amazing ride. I wish I could ride it again.

We went for the weekend a very pricey trip for 4 people as expected. Friday night more than half of the rides were closed. Saturday the weather was bad so we waited until Sunday to go again. More rides were open but still a big majority of them closed. An employee said it was due to understaffing. They opened some of them around 7pm. The park closes at 8 so there was no time to do even 2 of them. The tickets shouldn't cost that much if there isn't much to do. The all day meal deals are worth getting as well as the drink passes. The park was clean and setup very nicely. The decor was great. The small children had fun since most of those rides were open.

Best amusement park in the world with fun record breaking rides! Staff are always friendly and on POINT! There's a reason I have an annual pass, Cedar point is awesome, with new restaurants and attractions the park keeps giving me reasons to come back!

It has a lot going for it - hands-down best coasters, and at Halloween there are amazing decorations. BUT there's a lot of practical issues that cut into the pure coaster experience. (1) We called ahead and they convinced us we needed to buy the VIP Ride pass for an additional $80 each if we wanted to avoid waiting in long lines. But they oversold, so regularly the VIP line was the same 90 minute wait as the standby line. There's no regulation and VIP isn't favored, so it is just as long as goes just as slowly as the standby line. (2) We didn't encounter hardly any employees. We found dozens and dozens of unpaid high school volunteers who couldn't answer basic questions because they'd only been there a day or so. They were very nice, but it made things difficult from time to time. (3) They ran out of supplies and food left and right. Sodas ran as water. There were huge messes everywhere. There were no cups. On and on. (4) This wasn't our experience, but if you happen to go in October while the Halloween Haunts are going on you have to *pay extra* not to be targeted by scarers. They have haunts throughout the paths, sometimes unavoidable, and little kids can pay for a special badge. It's nice they have a badge, but surprising that they charge extra.
In conclusion, they were overall unprepared for guests and basic operations. The coasters are incredible: Steel Vengeance is the best I've ever been on. Millennium Force is so extreme I was literally unconscious and my family had to hold my head up during the ride. But the poor operations are glaring and cut into the experience time and again. Guests do not seem to be a priority - it felt like we were left on our own with high schoolers looking after us while we were charged at every opportunity. It's a great park and they should treat the park as such, as well as the guests who come to enjoy it.

Love, love, love. VERY on top of smoking policy and safe zones. Really appreciated by a parent of a child with breaking difficulty. First aid is a legit nurse office. Very impressed. So many rides for kids. Love this park!

Probably not worth it to leave a review but felt I should anyway. Grew up going to CP at least once a year, though that has decreased in the last several years. Things have changed. It seems like almost everything is a money grab now from no scare necklaces for $10 (seriously?) to the fast passes. It has essentially destroyed the CP most people know and love from years past. My husband and I came for Halloweekends, and in the nine hours we were there, we were able to ride one roller coaster. Yes, one. The lines were outrageously long (most were 4 hours, though the Blue Streak s was 2...), and twice we waited in line for coasters to have them break down for extended periods of time. CP is a great park, and I have wonderful memories of the place, but I highly doubt I ll be spending any money to go back in the near future. It s just not worth it anymore. Really a bummer.

It was a slow day. Always love it there but halloweekends is too packed for me. Had to park in the grass outside of the parking area. All the rides were over 2 hour waits and there's only 6 haunted houses in the whole park which surprised me because of how big the park is. It is much better going during the week in the summer!

Stayed at the Breakers which worked out great. We got early entry for staying there which let us walk on to everything (steel vengeance was still testing) before watching the "running of the bulls" when general admission started. I highly recommend this!

Great amusement park!! Coasters are amazing. Lines weren't too bad, a couple were long but not too long. Great selection of food and drinks, there was a Chick-fil-a!! Steel Vengeance was the best coaster, I was out of my seat for most of the ride. Millennium Force is a close second. The only issue is the people who buy the fast passes, the people running the lines need to do a better job running the numbers of both lines.

If you are only here for a day or two and want to ride all coasters...buy the fast lane pass....no more then 15 min wait on the big coasters.... nothing special about the water park , if you want fun water park choose Kalahari..and find a hotel off the premises to save major money!

They say they are only allowing limited capacity, ...

They say they are only allowing limited capacity, but what that really means is they are only operating half the rides, if that. So they charge full price admission yet bottleneck everyone into a handful of rides, so the lines are 1-2 hours wait anyway. Nobody in their right mind will spend 5 hours in lines for 30 second rides. We even saw a guy pass out in line from the heat. People expect not to wait in lines if you're open during a pandemic. bottlenecking everyone into a few lines is ripe for Covid anyway. At least most people were good about masks.

I love Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. If you re one who likes roller coasters (like me!), then you re going to love Cedar Point. I think they have more roller coasters than any other theme park, maybe in America. In the Midwest for sure. It s always a lot of fun here! Awesome places to eat too. Make sure you come visit here this season!

AMAZING! my favorite was the iron dragon because it wasn't super big and scary but it was kinda of nice. And there's one SUPER BIG roller coaster and it was called the dragster that goes 120 miles per hour and went 420 feet in the air. It was really loud when your right next to it. But it's amazing!

We had a great time but the park was so poorly man...

We had a great time but the park was so poorly managed. The staff had no idea what they were doing short of memorizing the required verbiage to say before starting a ride. We waited in line forever for food. There was some light rain and it felt like they shut down the entire park. At one point, even when it done raining, 8 of the 15 roller-coasters were closed!

Our friends waited in line with us for 45 min to get on the Cedar Creek Mine Ride after going on it earlier in the day. When they finally went to get on, a staff member measured their son and wouldn't let him on the ride. The first time he rode on the coaster the measure person said he was fine. And it's ok to have height restrictions but have somebody measure when you ENTER the line...not after waiting for 45 minutes and then having to leave with a sad, crying kid.

The app is terrible...it is never accurate with ride times or whether a ride was closed or had reopened.

Once we got on the rides we had a blast but it was disapponting otherwise. We live near Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens and they are so much better managed...especially Busch Gardens.

We went to the water park also and when we got there at 2 pm, they didn't mention that the entire wave pool, kiddie play area and one of the water slides were closed because of a pump issue. We weren't thrilled that this wasn't mentioned as about 1/3 of the park was closed...but we paid the full price to enter! Another woman I talked to about it...her sister was actually ejected from the park due to expressing her annoyance and anger at not being told this.

Overall we had a great time while on vacation with family and friends but the overarching theme at Cedar Point was annoyance and frustration.

Disappointing in all points, funnel cake was closed already, Friday evening the staff was either poorly trained or ordered to work slow to get more people on the shops or whatever, so we only managed to get on 3 rides, Saturday was rainy and windy so we decided to go on Sunday as the weather should be better... Took some photos from the shore, saw some coasters running, checked on the internet, 70% of the rides where running. Went Sunday morning before heading east on our road trip, EVERY COASTER closed due to high winds, sorry guys, the wind on Saturday was much worse and it was rainy and on a coaster which has only 30feet of hight, the argument of high winds lacks a little, don't know, maybe management reasons to get all shops and stocks cleared before the end of the season.... Went to cedar point from Germany, won't do that again...

It is definitely a fun place to visit but I guess I chose to come on the busiest day of the year this year LOL so it was kind of too crowded for me but I know that it's an amusement park and that can happen I just wish there was a way that they could maybe speed up the lights somehow he weighs half your day standing in line for rides

We spent three days here, July 28 - 31st. In those three days, Steel Vengeance was closed the whole time. Top Thrill Dragster was down and then up intermittently all three days. We waited for hour and half, just before we would get our turn, it would go down. Maintenance in this park is a bad joke. Something is broke and down any given minute. Cedar Point has been on our bucket list since we were kids and ended up to quite a disappointment. Also, i have a 40 inch waist and found that my body was being crushed by every ride because the safety restraint systems are not for reasonably sized people. Each car has different length seat belts. On Tuesday, i finally got to ride Top Thrill Dragster. Seat belt fit. The next day, i waited 2 hours, got on the ride and the seat belt would not snap. Waste of my time. Wont be going back. Don't go if your even just a little larger then the average bear, you will not get to ride.

Fantastic park. All the older rides keep updates and subtle things like canopy shade take the sun out of things. Wish the sky ride was longer or they would add another in back to the other one in front. Good first aid everyone was friendly and guest services was great. A little pricey

They have great coasters and rides. Well laid out and a decent amount of shaded areas.
Though the food is expensive, and you have to rent lockers for most of the bigger rides. Also the fast pass line makes the 'poor people' lines move a lot slower... but it's always a good time.

Has the potential to be the best!! Unfortunately while open friday night and included a special Halloween set up, many coasters were closed. I had traveled half way around the world to come to this place, because it has so many coasters, disappointed to see so many closed.
Maverick is a brilliant at night! Raptor and Millennium Force also great. Valravn has big reputation and a long wait and is a good ride. The Gate Keeper was equally as good. Magic Mountain has my vote this trip, because coasters were open and equal in thrill factor.

The dragster ride which was one of the main attractions was down all three days that I was there. Was not able to get on that ride. The Twister roller coaster ride was down for a half a day. Those are two of the biggest attractions in the park and they were not running. And I believe that they inflate the wait times for the rides to force you to purchase a fast pass switch for the day that I was going the first day was $105. The subsequent days it was $95. That is more than the cost of the price of the admission ticket. It is ridiculous that these amusement parks are doing this now. Average wait time for a ride when I was there was posted as 1 and 1/2 to 2 and 1/2 hours.

We had an absolute blast. Can NOT see and do ALL in one day, plan on returning. Lots of fun to be had by all ages, so much excitement. Need at least 2 days to do everything. BUY A FAST PASS TO AVOID LINES UP TO 2 HOURS LONG!!!

The rides are awsum if you can actually get on them, between the wind & maintenance, the rides were down approximately every hour, not worth the money they charge in my opinion, waaaay too many people on a saturday, you can't even walk or move around. Lines are very long and it happened atleast 4 times while waiting for a ride it went down. Purchased a "funpix" online but couldn't use it because the staff wasn't trained in the department i guess...

It's a great place to spend time with your family and friends. Packing a picnic lunch is a great way to save money, and you need to protect it from the nasty seagulls that love to eat what they can. Overall though I highly recommend this if you are into thrills from the big rollercoasters.

This was our first visit to this amusement park. We talked about going for years! We finally made it! Awesome roller coasters galore! The best coaster is Steel Vengeance. You will wait a long time but it is worth it! Pay the extra $10 for preferred parking, it is also worth it! We will be back!

We went for Halloween weekend. Most of the rides were closed due to winds. The children stood in line for over 2 hours to Millennium force and it closed for maintenance .
The corn mazes are closed on Sunday.

The haunted houses were awesome. The show at The Red Garter was great too.
If you go for the haunted weekend Friday and Saturday are your best bet. Sunday if you dont mind not doing the corn mazes. Most of the Halloween stuff starts at 4 so plan accordingly.

SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I went there over the summer and the rides were great! My favorite ride was the Maverick. It has a 95* angle drop and it was so much fun! I totally recommend this place.

Cedar points always a good place to go for a good time. Today made me regret coming even though i enjoyed myself. My group and i got to ride 3 rides the whole 9 hours i was there and the ones i wanted to ride i was yold were closed just to walk past 2 hours later and watch people enjoy the rides that i came to the park for. Decent day paid too much to stand in line all day.

If you like standing in a non moving line in the sun while a bunch of people with premium line cut passes walk by you to get on the ride, then you'll love this place. I'm not going back.

This was our first time and it was awesome. You will need 2 days. We loved the all day meal pass and were never hungry. Almost all the lines were reasonable, didn't need the fast pass except for like 3 of the coasters, so we didn't bother buying one. Disappointed top thrill dragster was closed, but there are 15 other coasters. I wish all the coasters had a bin to put small items in. We were forced to buy a locker to ride steel vengeance since they don't allow fanny packs (seemed like a stupid way to nickel and dime patrons). Perfect vacation for school age and teenagers.

Lots to experience for rides for people of all ages! Had awesome plays and cabarets. Great choices of eateries. very helpful employees throughout the park. awesome to also have beach access

Lines were too long, but the REAL CRIMINALITY was the price of the food. I bought 3 chicken baskets for 45.00. They tasted soooooo horrible that I can fe amusementel like throwing them back. The fries were hard and stale also. I could not believe this and how they are allowed to sell this good to people. It isn't surprising since most of the employees are from 3rd world countries. It was the weirdest thing? Why are all the employees at AMERICANS favorite amusement park not American?

"Ohio People" really make me not want to come back...

"Ohio People" really make me not want to come back. Besides that, you can get in for relatively cheap, as long as you're okay with waiting in line for 2 - 3 HOURS for a single coaster. If you opt for a Fast Pass, make sure you buy them ahead of time, as they are DOUBLE to TRIPLE the price if you purchase it day-of. The Fast Pass will get you onto most rides immediately, however, if you're looking to get on all of them quickly, you'll need the Fast Pass PLUS, which is even more expensive. Basically, expect to pay about $200 per person. Besides all of that, the roller coasters are quite short, and the park itself is almost disgustingly dirty.

DO NOT GO HERE AT THIS TIME. YOU WILL NOT RIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO RIDE DUE TO ACCESS PASSES IF YOURE LUCKY YOU WILL GET ON ONE OF THE MAJOR ROLLERCOASTERS. I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU GO AT THIS TIME YOU WILL BE MISERABLE WITH A MASK NOT SURE HOW ANYONE HAD ANY SORT OF FUN AT ALL!!!!!!!!

The rides are great, and there are some good attractions, but they're finding new ways to charge you money all the time. Parking is $20, bottled water is $4.25, food is expensive, and some of the food isn't even that great.

Excellent experience. Arcade was an absolute blast. It was priced fairly with the high end and high win games, but if you'd like to play a lot, then be prepared to spend. BackBeatQue barbeque was delicious, had the smoked brisket. We were able to ride for a few hours before getting rained out for the rest of the day, thankfully the arcade was there and we had ponchos. Current restrictions on the rides don't allow new purchased for fast lane passes. They are only honoring fast lane passes purchased before the state of emergency/lockdown being declared. Overall an amazing trip. Make sure to go to Sandusky pancake house. Fantastic food.
