I bet this is still the best coaster park in the world.
I bet this is still the best coaster park in the world.
Best amusement park for many many miles. However I'm not really to fond of the fast pass. Fast pass+for a family of four bought at the park will cost your over $600 for a day. Pretty ridiculous.
Love this but get fast lane passes bc those wait times... Whew
Absolutely love this place. Always something to do.
The best amusement park I have ever been. The rollercoasters are very exciting!
Had lots of fun with my daughter and niece. love camp snoopy
The best amusement park around thee absolute best roller coasters
Great rides. Food prices a little high. Awesome amusement park!
Really great place for thrill ride and roller coaster enthusiasts. Stuff for the kids too!
A lot of issues with handicap accessibility. My daughter in a wheelchair had alot of issues with broken elevators and blocked handicap entrances. Several workers were downright rude to us when asking for assistance. Never used to be like that.
If you love roller coasters, then you must go to Cedar Point!
Covid rules ruin the experience. They run every other row on rides and then run the ride empty to air dry the cleaner. Why not run even rows one time then odd rows the next. It would save so much time. Blue streak wait time said 45 minutes but it was really 1 hr 30 minutes. Other rides said two hours with actual waits much longer. The employees go after anyone not wearing a mask the way they want you to even though you are outside
We come every year and even during Covid, was very clean and they used extra precautions. A great park.
Had a fun time. Hadn't been there in years. Hallow Weekends are the best!
My review has nothing to do with the rides or the park. I was at CP recently and I overheard an employee refer to me as that dad with his oreo kid. Fortunately my son wasn't paying attention and I didn't fly off the handle because I dont act like that in front of my son. I'm very disappointed that CP has an employee like this. And as much as I enjoy thrill rides I don't think I'll ever be back to this park.
What's not to love about one of the top amusement parks in the world?
Do not go here. Completely empty coasters running while you wait over 2 hours for any ride. If you can't open efficiently don't open at all.
The park was amazing and big. There are a lot of fun things to do and the park staff was fun and friendly. The only thing Is the lines to get on the ride is about
1 1/2 hr of 2 hr long if you do not buy a fast pass. This is big a cheap park the cost for a fast pass a and a general ticket comes out to about 2 hundred dollars a person. I was not prepared for the price but the park was so great that i purchased a gold past for next year and will plan for the cost next time. I gave all stars because I will pay the price again I just didn t know that a fast pass will be a must to buy if you want to skip the longggg lines. So we ended up flying back broke and pockets hurting but hands down it was the best fun evererrr.
A truly magical place with the best coasters and attractions you could possibly want. We drove 8 hours just to go for two days. It was chilly but we still had a blast!
Always a fun experience when it comes to cedar point. Was sad that it started raining mid day and all the rides shut down. Their temperature/covid screening was nice to see. It would also be nice to see each ride get sprayed with alcohol quickly between passengers to prevent any spread.
The all day food and drink passed were worth it, mainly because we made a point to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner there.
The lines seemed even slower than normal - which is weird. Admittedly they social distanced the rides so you sit every other row (so they are half capacity), but the lines are spaced every 6 ft...
Overall, it was nice that they are making such a great effort to stay safe and open.
I have the platinum pass with all the bells and whistles! Totally worth it. I plan to visit 10 to 20 times this year. I advise you buy the fast pass and use a Segway so you save your feet.
Fun place to go in the summer and its close to where I live
Great for all ages. My two year old had a blast! Don't hesitate to bring your toddler like I did. They will have a ball! Bring a wagon though :)
Parking is expensive, as well as food. Some of the lines for the rides are ridiculous as well, but was a fun experience. Only ran in to one rude ride attendant. Told me i wouldnt fit on the rode, even though i cleared the test seawt. Then was going in line and pulling people out of line telling them they wont fit the ride (steel vengence). I waited at the emd for a couple friends to get off, just to notice that over 50 people camr off of that ride at least double my size. Was not happy ans felt like i was picked out of the crowd. Besides that, lines got shorter as the day grew later, which was awesome
Cannot wait to go back. The best park we have ever been to.
For non riders, Need music ares like the BackBBQ terrace. I could go from o e to another eat drink and listen to music
Fun times, expensive food and drinks, but still worth the money spent to see my kids have a blast!
The roller-coaster capital is alive and well in 2019. The food and drink have improved dramatically from the early 2000's.
The rides are awesome. But do beware that they will close some rides with no warning and no apology, and some rides will never be less than an hour wait. It's still an amazing place. But not knowing what rides are going to be closed is a little annoying.
We bought the gold passes for 99$ and so far so good.
Super fun. Lots to do. Classic amusement park. Hot, sweaty, waiting in lines. As always, go with someone you really like talking to, as you're going to be spending a lot of time chatting in lines. And that's not all bad!
Some of the older coasters are rough enough to detach your retina and/or knock out your fillings (corkscrew), Avoid!! :-)
Today was a pass holder only event inaugurating the new coaster, Steel Vengeance. Cedar Point did a fantastic job making all of us season pass holders feel welcome. We were treated too many kinds of new foods available here, all for FREE! Pop was also free. Thanks Cedar Point for a great evening!
Great amusement park for the entire family. The roller coasters are amazing and fun for the older kids and adults. The kiddy and snoopy areas get the job done for the young ones. Several rides were closed was the only bummer, but tons of fun overall.
Had a lot of fun but some of the lines for the rides were very long unless you had the E-ZPass which was more expensive. It was kind of no fair that people that had to E-ZPass could just come off the ride and cut back in line from people that were waiting for 2 hours to ride it
Best amusement park I've ever been to definitely will go back!
For the thrill ride/roller coaster enthusiast, this place is the Mecca. With over 20 coasters and other thrill rides, there is something for everyone. It is well worth the journey to northern Ohio, at least once, especially considering the price of admission is half of what you'd expect to pay at Disney or Universal.
I know with everything going on this year has been very challenging for Cedar Point but all in all they are doing the very best they can as long as everybody is patient and courteous they will continue to deliver an excellent experience as always thank you Cedar Point for salvaging summer 2020
Had good fun with friends and some pretty good food!
I had fun and even tho it isnt the cleanest park but it's sure fun as hell
Had a great time. Only complaint is that the food isn't good enough for the price. Make it better and I'll be okay Paying more. Paper straws in a milkshake just isn't okay. Lines weren't too bad. Second time going. I recommend downloading the app, it let's you GPS to the rides and is very
Intuitive.
Cedar point is not handling the Covid restrictions well at all. We love going to them parks and even Holiday World in Indiana had a way more efficient system of helping people ride rides than cedar point. Don t waste money until this Covid thing is over because you ll spend the ENTIRE day waiting in lines.
I love to go to cedar point. It was always a fun time to go when you were a kid on a family trip. It's still fun now that I take my kids. I have gone to cedar point at least 20 times. Always a different experience every time I go. My best advice would be to go sitting the week, there's allot less people.
Would get 5 stars if not for alot of the rides being not operating on a very busy 90 degree day. Neither of the water log flume rides were open which would have been very refreshing on a day like today.
Excellent place for any family. Like no other place for shizzle.
A would be good review turned sour for a couple reasons. First I was excited to feel recognized for the sacrifices I make serving our country by a military discount where ticket price is only $43... then my brothers wife tells me tripple A ticket is only 32... so I no longer feel like Cedar Point cares as much as I thought... I have multiple sclerosis but i can walk ok usually, my knee arthritis can get to be real painful occassionaly, found out they charge $70 to rent motorized wheelchair but get $20 back when you return it. I didn't have that kind of extra funds after traveling 5 hours to get here. We were enjoying the rides walking 13,000 steps it ended up around 12 miles according to our fitbit type devices and I was really regretting coming for lack of money for wheelchair to keep up with my family. It's night time just after 9pm we want to leave, some of family in car already, it starts raining pretty hard and im in pain by this point and we stop to ask an employee if we could borrow a wheelchair that my wife could push me to car and guy says i have bad news after calling his boss, its $20 to rent it.. thanked him for trying, so my wife helped me slowly get to our car in the pouring rain.. very bad customer service standpoint to take in my opinion, putting profit in front of preventing or aleviating a customers pain in time of need
Social distancing not observed by other guests. Not enforced. They stopped santizing between rides at noon. Extremely understaffed. Extremely long lines. Total waste of money. Cedar Point is grossly mismanaging during Covid-19.
Cedar Point is a guaranteed good time! Great rides, great food and lots to see and do! The park is clean and the staff is friendly.
Pretty cool park, bummed a lot of the awesome rides were down. At least you can go to the beach instead and make a day out of it.
Barely any signage to parking, got lost a few times trying to park, but otherwise very good park.
We have season passes. Favorite place to spend the day. Great options for all ages.
Lots of great rides. Unfortunately, lots of breakdowns. Worse, lots of rude people vaping in line, etc and no monitoring of long lines or employees around to do anything about it.
Great customer service, also doing a great job accommodating for covid!!
Millennium force was a fun ride but the 1100am and 3:30pm to get tickets to ride the Millennium force and the other 3 popular rides. I wasted 5 plus hours in waiting in different lines to get the tickets and ride the roller coasters.
Overall I enjoyed the park. Would I do it again.... Hell No!
Ceder point the best amusement park I've been to love that top thrill dragster
Really is America's best theme park. Impossible to come and have a bad day, any age
Awesome rides... great view to the lake... the place to go if you like roller coasters
Cedar Point is doing an EXCELLENT job at making sure everyone that visits is wearing their face masks and fever free. The many sanitizing stations throughout the park is AWESOME!! The longest line I stood in was a 45 minute wait and during that time the attendant went by me AT LEAST 5 times wiping and sanitizing the hand rails!! These people really care!
This place is stellar! The park staff is really helpful and polite. They make a fun place even more fun.
Good just wish I got the dining package for the 32 bucks. And it was too hot that day.
Cedar point has ALWAYS been my favorite amusement park to go to, they have the best coasters. Went there this past Sunday and had my first bad experience. The fact that we had to pay full price for admission and not be able to ride the four best coasters in the park was very disappointing. When we got to the park we were informed that you had to have a pass to get on 4 specific coasters, well the passes all sold out and weren t going to be available again until 4:30. We all waited until about 4:00 and made our way to one of the lines to receive a ticket . When we arrived the line was so long that we couldn t even find the end, and that being said it didn t guarantee us to be able to get a ticket . I just think it s wrong to charge full price to ride only certain rides. It was upsetting for me because I ve been wanting to ride the steel vengeance for awhile now and thought i was finally going to be able to :(
The park may have been better left shut during the pandemic. Most major rides (the rides people travel 100s and 1000s of miles for) were closed. Namely, these included Top Thrill Dragster, Rougarou, Blue Streak, and Millennium Force were shut down for the entire day. Valvarun and Raptor broke down 4 times in the span of 3 hours (probably a lot more while I wasn t there). People were smoking all over the park. There was little to no enforcement of wearing masks. There were tons of people walking without a mask. The wait times were very long. For the 6 hrs spent there, we were able to ride 3 RIDES only. All in all, a horrible experience.
Very clean and has the best rides. No food or drink allowed to be brought in. Staff was outgoing and friendly.
Cedar point is just not the same, lines was way to long, you can only get about 2 good roller coasters in, park closes way to early. you can't ride what you want unless you stand in a 2 hour line just to get an access pass, its a waste of time because your in line majority of your day and then they took away the haunted houses because of covid yet no one is social distancing in the lines anyways. park hours 12 to 8 is a joke. they say you have to make a reservation yet the park capacity has not changed, still thousands of people in the park making if difficult to get on any good rides smh...
Much better experience in September vs my earlier visits in the year. Their crew has done an excellent job with the Halloween theme which is spread across the park.
Usually fun but it was Extremely packed and a lot of the rides weren't running.
Very busy, had to wait 2 1/2 hours for one ride. Hollow weekends was fun but they started a new thing called " no boo " if you dont want to be scared then you buy a spider necklace for $10.00. Why come to hallow weekends if not to get scared, also there was alot of children in stollers. They kept hitting in to the back of me and a lot of other people.
I love this place so much! Even though I have been coming here my whole life it never gets old! I will always come here, as much as I can. Cedar Point has world class roller coasters, activities for the whole family, and roller coasters for people that love coasters and for people that are still too small to ride the big rides. They have great food, great atmosphere and even when some of my favorite coasters get long lines I don t even care to wait them because I know it s going to be worth the wait. So glad that this is my home park!!
This place is a great place to spend a day or two riding giant coasters, eating wonderful junk, and catching a show or two. My family and I had a ball!!
Lots of fun, world-class rides. One of their premiere rides has been down for two days without any word on when it might be back up. Would be nice if the would let you know any updates.
Nice place for whole family. Each age group have many rides for whole day to play
It was a perfect day. The weather was nice, the park was not busy and everyone was peaceful. The ride lines were just as long as usual due to Covid-19 cleaning policy. Some rides and restaurants were closed. I would recommend this amusement park to others. Enjoy!
Who doesn't love the Roller Coaster capital!? Plenty of rides to choose from for all ages and abilities. The flower beds are gorgeous! Halloweekends is a MUST!
The best place in the world for coasters. Good for families and other things as well but even the old coasters with no wait are better than most of the primary coasters st other parks. The Cedar Point app is super handy... it shows the wait times at all the rides. I've been here several times over 30+ years and it's always great and always clean.
Best place on Earth! So many coasters, so little time!
They are doing a very good job dealing with the virus.
This theme park is MUCH larger than I had expected it to be! Be sure to wear comfy shoes, you'll be walking a lot! We had went here on a work trip and had an AMAZING time. I highly recommend splurging on the line jump tickets, as it is a VERY busy park with VERY long lines. It's absolutely a great time! I also recommend getting hotel and staying over night.
I came here I spent 126 on me and my wife half the rides are closed I wait for 3 hours in 2 lines one of the rides closed down as I was waiting the staff were disrespectful and rude I want my money back. I already sent multiple comments on each occasion
When we showed up alot of the rides where down that we where most looking forward to, however steel vengance made up for it. My son was allowed to ride that being as he was just tall enough but other 52" rides wouldnt allow him on. So all in all worth going and worth the fast pass but not worth the fast pass plus.
It was a really fun experience, all the rides were really fun especially the big rides like the Gemini and the dragster! Once all it was very fun and I would love to go again!
Aside from seasonal Muffleheads, the Park was in in good condition, staff was friendly, and the expansion of the food truck round-up and the remodeling of FRONTIER TOWN were a nice surprise!
We are especially glad we got the Food/ Drink Pass added our tickets.
Best rollercoaster park ever!!! Fast pass plus is worth it! We bought the all inclusive ticket which includes a souvenir cup which was a pain because you couldn't bring it with you on some rides and put it aside. Get the drink all day pass without the souvenior cup to avoid carrying souvenior cup. Fanny packs are best to put things in. Adraline rush rollercoasters are Valryn, Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Maverick, Wicked Twister!!! Sky hawk is a huge swing with a great height rush ! Overall amazing park with rides and entertainment!
We got the gold membership, definitely worth it. Lots to do, food is a bit pricey definitely worth doing the drink and meal plan if you go that route.
Absolutely love this park! Steel Vengeance is a great ride, well worth the wait, even at an hour and a half! Gatekeeper is always my favorite though, it's smooth and fun, and makes me feel like I'm flying! Cedar Downs or Carousel on crack as we call it is always our first ride of the day to get things going. It's fun for all ages and makes the adults feel like kids again There is a ride or activity for everyone! Haunt just started, so the mazes are fun for a good jump scare!
The raptor was a nice rollercoaster...i recommend it for a starter ride...it has loops and stuff. If u plan on going take a pass thing where u can ride it all year long
Eeeee. Yes. The Mavric was 1000% my fave ride or Iron Dragon
