We had a great time but the park was so poorly managed. The staff had no idea what they were doing short of memorizing the required verbiage to say before starting a ride. We waited in line forever for food. There was some light rain and it felt like they shut down the entire park. At one point, even when it done raining, 8 of the 15 roller-coasters were closed!

Our friends waited in line with us for 45 min to get on the Cedar Creek Mine Ride after going on it earlier in the day. When they finally went to get on, a staff member measured their son and wouldn't let him on the ride. The first time he rode on the coaster the measure person said he was fine. And it's ok to have height restrictions but have somebody measure when you ENTER the line...not after waiting for 45 minutes and then having to leave with a sad, crying kid.

The app is terrible...it is never accurate with ride times or whether a ride was closed or had reopened.

Once we got on the rides we had a blast but it was disapponting otherwise. We live near Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens and they are so much better managed...especially Busch Gardens.

We went to the water park also and when we got there at 2 pm, they didn't mention that the entire wave pool, kiddie play area and one of the water slides were closed because of a pump issue. We weren't thrilled that this wasn't mentioned as about 1/3 of the park was closed...but we paid the full price to enter! Another woman I talked to about it...her sister was actually ejected from the park due to expressing her annoyance and anger at not being told this.

Overall we had a great time while on vacation with family and friends but the overarching theme at Cedar Point was annoyance and frustration.
