Bought my wife's wedding ring here. Had an amazing experience. Steph was absolutely, hands down the BEST. She determined my wife's ring size and helped pick out a simple, yet elegant ring in under 15 minutes. Thank you Steph and Catbird!

Catbird is a jewelry shop selling pieces by local designers as well as its own coveted line of jewels.
Best known for its delicate knuckle rings and whimsical opal pieces, the Brooklyn-based boutique opened its doors in 2004. Since then it has gain a lot of attention thanks to its simple yet charming designs.
The store also stocks beauty products, candles, cards and other delicious goodies.

Ordered a Christmas gift in October. When it arrived, it wasn't the best quality. In November, I tried to return it, but I was told that holiday returns only apply to orders made in November or later.

This policy is a disingenuous cash grab. I was a repeat Catbird customer, but now I'm done.

Fantastic jewelery, and great customer service. They are really willing to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction.

It is a lovely store and the jewelry pieces are beautiful. However, customer service is not that great, and if you want to get something engraved prepare to wait for a very long time....(WEEKS!!)

I attempted to order something online for a girlfriends wedding. The experience was a nightmare, their customer service is horrible. Not only did I have to wait a week to be reimbursed, because they could not process my order internationally I never heard a single "I am sorry for your inconvenience" nadda. Then finally when i was reimbursed the final amount, it was for less than what I originally paid. So when i contacted them to resolve the issue - nothing was done. So basically I paid them money for nothing.

So instead I went on Etsy, found someone who carried a similar product and the rings were made custom within a week and shipped. I like the store, but in a recession you think they would take more care of their customers especially when they are spending $300+ on jewelry. It's all about the store experience when you are a luxury retailer.

There is something about the black ribbon with the gold lettering. I Love this little place in Brooklyn it's one of a kind. So, grateful to have discovered this place in 2017. There is never any issues other than being sold out and it's a fun day trip into the city.

I have ordered a few items from catbird, and I am no longer going to purchase anything. I have two rings both priced a little over 1100$ each, that have needed repairs twice now on separate occasions. I just received one back two months ago and a diamond has fallen out for the second time. The other is an emerald ring, one stone completely fell out within the first month and after a year the main stone was loose and about to fall out as well. I have Gold earrings that turned black (300$ for the pair), and a silver necklace that turned my skin colors for somewhere close to 100$. I am so inlove with the designs but the quality is poor and I will spend my money elsewhere.

Catbird is awesome! It s not cheap don t get me wrong but their jewelry is so beautiful and it lasts a long time! I bought my mother and mother in law their gift from here and they both love it! I also got myself a cute ring for $40 that has lasted me over 8 months!!!!!

Fashion insiders flock to Catbird for their silver, gold and rose gold rings, particularly their "midis" (rings that fit between the nail and knuckle). Prices for these range from $40-$100.

Ordered 2 charms and a necklace. Love the packaging. Got a free tote bag as well. They even wrote my name on the card. I felt very special opening my order. If I could I would have gave 10 !!! My husband ordered a diamond necklace to surprise me for my birthday. Sadly, UPS lost the package so we never recieved it. Called UPS but they did nothing about it. Called Catbird and they were wonderful, very kind and professional and sent us a replacement. The necklace is high quality and gorgeous! We will be repeat customers here. Thanks Catbird!

You well find unique and beautiful pieces here. Sales staff was very helpful and eager to answer questions. Location is rather small, but the selection was excellent.

I love this place, they have the most creative beautiful one of a kind jewelry.

Prices are a little high for the value, if you are a jewelry nut. However if you factor in the neighborhood, service, and image of the store/brand it's on par. Expect dainty fine jewelry, not big showpieces. Go there with a grand and a half and build yourself a killer stack.

Contrary to other reviews I've seen the service was warm and incredibly accommodating especially since we visited right at closing and not a single eyeroll was cast despite only purchasing one of their most affordable pieces and 20 minutes of deliberation.
